Question: Should I give her a gift for what she's going through? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 05:46 PM PST I have a friend who lives under an abusive father, and she's been crying a lot lately. She reached out to me because she knows what she's going through. I also had an abisive father but I drove him away, but she can't do the same. She's also three years older than me. I took her to go shopping and eating out to cheer her up. I wanted to buy her a stuffed toy and tell her to hug it whenever she was upset, but I wasn't sure if that would be appropriate. I also wanted to write her a letter, but I'm not so sure if that would be a good idea either. I always listen to her and try to encourage to stay or be happy. |

Question: Is it a bad idea for me to practice massage on this guy? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 04:13 PM PST This guy has a girlfriend I didn't know it at first. I sent him a Facebook message asking him if he wanted to be FWB. He said he wish he would have got my number sooner. And asked how would I feel about being with him and another girl. I told him I was thinking he and I could hookup. He said had it been two years ago he would have loved to because he was always into me. He's been asking me about letting me practice on him since September. When I first told him I was in massage school. And even now that he knows that I want him sexually he still said he would be my study buddy for practicing massage. |
Question: Why would he still let me practice massage on him, when he knows I want sex? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 04:03 PM PST There is this guy who works at a store I often go to. My mom and I sometime talks to him while she and I are in line. He would always ask me what was new with me and would tell me what he was up to. In September he asked me what was new. And I told him I was in school for massage. And he told me if I need someone to practice on I could practice on him. I gave him my number and he called me last month asking if he could come over. He said he needed a massage and asked if I wanted to hangout. I sent him a Facebook message asking if he wanted to be FWB. He said he wished that he had got my phone number sooner. And asked how would I feel about being with him and another girl. Saying that she likes girls I told him that I was thinking he and I could hookup. He said he would have loved to had it been 2 years ago. I apologized he said don't and that he had always been into me. So I told him we could still be friends. And he said he would still be my study buddy for my massage practice. But why would he still let me massage him knowing that I want sex? |
Question: Why does everyone feel like they have to trick others into having sex? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 03:40 PM PST I never had problems finding people to have one night stands with and Everytime we both feel mutual. I'm using them for sex and their using me for sex and we both know and understand this. It's just human behavior but I'll run into guys who act like they're tricking girls into having sex with them, like it's a game. It comes off as very predatory and makes them seem like wanna be rapists. They'll talk down on the girls their with and act like their master persuasion skills got them laid. They'll act like the girl had no choice in the matter and it was all about how they asked. Its really delusional and weird and also slightly concerning. The thing is I'll see these girls and it's obvious that they just wanted some action too. So why would they present themselves like this? Should I just ignore it? It makes me uncomfortable even though I get just as much as them and I do a lot of the same things they talk about (complimenting women, bring confident etc) Their lack of respect and blatently disconnect makes me uncomfortable. Also to get girls a lot of them talk about using back handed comments which isn't necessary. They can get girls just fine without lowering the girls self esteem so idk why their doing this. |
Question: Does this apology sound genuine? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 02:31 PM PST My "best friend" has recently kicked me to the sidelines after finding new friends. I haven't heard from her in weeks--we used to talk every day. Recently I finally got a text from her, and this is what it said: "I'm sorry I haven't really been here for you, but I have been thinking of you a lot lately, especially since I don't see you on campus anymore... big hugs" I'm unsure how to react. She's caused me a lot of pain wondering if I was good enough. Additionally, if she really missed me, wouldn't she try to reconnect rather than just blaming not being there for me on our opposite class schedules at college? I see her posting on her social media that she hangs out with other friends with whom she has no classes with, but she still can't seem to make time for me, and it hurts knowing that she willingly will do it for other people. Thoughts? How should I respond to this? |
Question: Im kind of pissed off at my friend for something stupid? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 02:24 PM PST This sounds dumb, but me and my friend got into an argument over fictional characters. Basically, it started off as a silly thing but she took it was too seriously and I felt as if she was being a jerk about it. I kept telling her why the character she claimed to be amazing- really wasn't and she was a ***** to everyone. She started coming up with, honestly, really stupid reasons for why I'm wrong- which by the way- she had started the entire argument. This goes on for a while and she kept trying to act as if she were so smart, it was annoying. Finally she ended the fight and we went back to normal- this was all over an instagram chat. I just feel really salty, i really didn't like how she was trying to degrade my opinion and then get angry when i literally just gave her the facts right back at her. Its really stupid and i know that I'm to blame as well, but i just have a weird taste in my mouth about it. I broken up with someone and she also didn't really seem to care too much about it, then about 5 minutes later she starts this. Normally we don't have any problems, but I've just been getting a bit ticked off with her the past couple days. She's the only friend I really have so don't just tell me to drop her, i still like her. Im just not sure what to do because i cant stop being pissed at her. Its not only that either, she has been a bit.. rude lately? I cant describe it, not rude- but like she thinks she's so much better than me, but more subtle about it. (will edit more) Anyways, i just feel angry and I feel really stupid for it. This isn't about fictional characters, its more of how she has been treating me as if she is more superior. She NEVER gives in to an argument so i feel dumb for even trying to feed her logic in the first place. I feel like she is rarely ever TRULY happy for me, at least not recently. She gets jealous over my money a lot, like idk... I've got a LOT of problems. Mental health, school... she acts like i have it so great. I really don't. I feel like she's just so full of herself sometimes and always so defensive. If this keeps up... I'm honestly thinking of not being her friend anymore- it's hurting me. Im older than her by almost 2 years yet she acts as if she is the mature one- she isn't. She puts up a mature act that makes her seem like a baby and it's quite annoying. I just don't know what's up with her? What changed? |
Question: Im falling for my friend what should I do? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 02:08 PM PST I'm 15 and I have a rule where I will never date a friend because when I mess it up I won't lose a friend. But right now I'm falling for her and I don't want to break the rule and it's causing me some pain. I know this "love I feel may go away but right now it hurts. What do I do? |

Him:I'll still be your study buddy Me: Lol ok. We can still hangout if you want to let me know when your available He has been talking to me about getting a massage since September before ever mentioning anything about a threesome. |
Question: Is my wife's friend crazy for not vaccinating her children? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 12:38 PM PST My wife's friend has three kids and none of them are vaccinated. She claims that her husband is a scientist. Her husband is a Mechanical Design Engineer and has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Neurobiology and Physiology. He also has a Master of Science in Neuroscience. She claims that her husband has studied vaccines. Her husband believes that vaccines are not safe and that they do not help save people from diseases. Therefore, none of her kids are vaccinated. I'm a little wary of having my kids play with my wife's friends kids. Is my wife's friend crazy for not vaccinating her children? |
Question: Does my friend want to text me? Should i stop trying to? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 12:30 PM PST Ok she always takes like 2-3 hours to reply back to me. But when she does she seems perfectly engaged in the conversation (usually asks questions and such) It's just that I know she's on her phone cause I see her liking pics on insta, snapchat score going up, etc. And no I'm not like obsessed with her it's just that I don't want to be this annoying person that's texting her. I just want to know if I even should text her? |
Question: How to evict a friend? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 09:48 AM PST So 6 months ago, a good friend fell on hard times. I offered him a place to stay(free of rent) so he could get back on his feet. 6 months has gone by and he has actually gone even farther downhill from when he started, but my s/o and my relationship is failing because he is leeching us dry. How do I kick him out without ruining the friendship or causing him depression or something? |
Question: Is this ok way to politely decline? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 08:31 AM PST my friend said he liked me and i think i'll send: thank you, and i'm very flattered, but i hope it's ok i only see you as a friend,, i'm sorry is that ok |
Question: My friend is the crazy ex...? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 07:52 AM PST One of my friends, went through a rough breakup last year and still isn't over him. They broke up because my friend was jealous and clingy, but to this day my friend still: -acts like they are together -makes her ex(who is a close friend) uncomfortable and sad -threatened to kill/hurt herself when her ex tried to cut her off -sent threats to his female friends to "not touch him" I've been trying to cut her off but am afraid of doing so. Advice? |
Question: My best friends don't make an effort anymore? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 07:47 AM PST I have two best friends. We all grew up together. We use to hang out all the time and chat when we weren't hanging out. Over the years it's seemed as if we've just continuously grown apart. When we do see each other and talk, it's like no time has passed. However, getting to that point is like pulling teeth. It's been 7 months since either of them even attempted to contact me. I understand that we are all busy with work and college, but I feel like if it really mattered to them they would find the time. You are never too busy for those you hold close to your heart. When we do end up messaging it doesn't last long. Just ends up being small talk. It's almost as if they've moved on with life without me. Advice? Should I just let them go, as much as it hurts? Or should I try to spark the friendship again? |
Question: How do i tell my friend not to come visit me today? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 05:00 AM PST Yesterday my friend texted me and told me she wanted to come visit today from like 10 to 2 and I told her I can't do that because I have physical therapy which I told her that last week when she asked about coming today so she said that she would come today at 1 after I got back and I asked her if she would take me to the doctor's office to get a flu swab done because my doctor wants me to get one done because he thinks I have the flu and she told me that she would not take me to get to flu swab that it was on me to go get myself and she made no attempt to cancel for today so my friend positive is coming out today to see me I don't want her to come here if I'm sick with the flu but if I tell her not to come today she's going to get mad at me and drilling me how important it is for her to come today so how do I tell my friend to not come today because I'm not feeling good I don't know what to tell her because I feel like she's going to come anyways. so how do I politely tell her not to come today that I don't want her here because I don't want to get her sick I mean my friend yesterday told me that was rude for having her over here I said not my problem I said it's her prerogative if she wants to come here while I'm sick she can it is not my fault if she comes out here while I'm sick I told her yesterday I needed to flu swab and she didn't say anything about cancel it so if she comes here it's not my fault how do I politely tell her to not come without her getting mad |
Question: What should I do to some people paying me back for three or four months' thing? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 03:50 AM PST I felt resentment because of one female member in Twitter in October or September. So a month from that day, I blamed her. After all, she has been absent and I forgot her. But three or four months later now, her friends have lately pushed me to apologise for her. So I have been apologising for her everyday. But she didn't make no. What should I do? |
Question: Why are people so fake? Posted: 13 Feb 2018 03:46 AM PST 3 years ago I moved to Nigeria from Virginia and it has truly been a life journey for me in so many different ways. I went through a lot of ups and downs but through that I have grown so much as a person and become content with my life here and even started enjoying it even though I never thought I would. I have also come to realize how phony people can be. On Facebook I contacted people I haven't seen or spoke to in over a decade and they hit me back up saying "oh hey, how you been." But on the other hand people that I've known for a long time and recently seen just before I left act like they don't know me at all. For example, there was this one girl who was friends with my sister and I even talked with her on IG a little over a year ago. I deleted my old IG account cause it got boring, but I made a new one recently and sent her a friend request and she denied it. I sent her another one and she blocked me. And she can't say she didn't know it was me because I had my picture and name on my account and it's public. Granted we were never really friends, we just knew each other for a long time, but I just find it strange how people can switch up so quick for no particular reason at all. I talked to other people that moved out of town and they said they were experiencing the same thing. Would it be wrong for me to act like a complete asshole if I ever see those people again? However, there are people I would love to see again if I ever get the chance to go back to Virginia. |
Question: Im 18, shy and need to meet people but dont know where to go? Posted: 12 Feb 2018 11:21 PM PST I recently moved dont know anybody im no longer in school. Question: Should I talk with my friend who is a narcissist? Posted: 12 Feb 2018 09:31 PM PST I have known a girl for 4 years and I have realized overtime that she is a narcissist. We used to chat all the time, on messeger and at college. About 3 weeks ago, all of a sudden she has stopped talking to me. Is this one of the things narcissistic people do, they stop talking to people that are not a benefit to them anymore? Thanks |
Posted: 12 Feb 2018 08:41 PM PST I'm in a group text and we were planning a meet up and we were talking about who's bringing what food. One of my friends started joking to one person who hadn't decided yet and acting like she was crazy and talking in all caps and stuff. The person said "I repeat: CHILL YOUR TIDDIES" jokingly but then the friend said "IM GONNA GO CRY IN A CORNER" I thought she was joking but it's been 49 mins she won't respond to texts or answer calls we've left voicemails we're really worried what should we do we're all in middle school btw |

Question: How to tell a friend "no" on a creative project? Posted: 12 Feb 2018 07:25 PM PST Me and two of my friends are writing a comic. One of them is designing atrocious outfits for a character's wardrobe and I don't know how to tell him I hate it |
Posted: 12 Feb 2018 07:24 PM PST My best friend and I are both girls but we cuddle a lot. She'll just lay right on me and wants me to rub or head or play with her hair. Sometimes well just lay facing eachother as one of our faces are in the others chest underneath the neck just breathing on eachother. The other night she wrapped her arm around me as I closed my eyes and she was facing the other way but her arm still around me. We're both straight but I admitted to feeling a little more than friends (only girl I've felt this way towards) I'm not sure if it's because I love her and enjoy her company but she said that it was sweet and she feels honored. She says I'm adorable and so cute and that she wants me to keep me forever. She says when she's sad she'll picture me there cuddling with her. She tells me not to get a boyfriend right now or she would be sad. We call eachother baby and that I'm her girl. Sometimes well squeeze hands and let go but the passed few times we kinda just left it there but we are just so very close. We're both caring and loving people. She says if she were gay that we would already be dating by now. But my heart flutters so much around her and sometimes I can get confused because does this sound a little more than two girl best friends? |
Question: Why do people say they are pros? Posted: 12 Feb 2018 07:03 PM PST My friend and I like to draw and paint but my friend thinks it s a game and a competition which isn t bad because every job or hobby is a competition. She just goes too far with it. We would both draw and she would compare ours and say"mine better" and most of the time " I m a professional drawer" and obviously I know she is not. Because if she was a pro she would be going to the best art school. I just do not know why she keeps thinking she is a pro. I m not judging her art or anything and I am not jealous whatsoever. I just don t know why she keeps saying it. |
