I cheated on my husband with one of my coworkers. It had been going on for awhile before it finally ended but he found out about it and he's mad at me. I always hear about people in really great relationships. I always hear guys saying how their wife or girlfriend is their rock, or how they wouldn't live without them, how they love them, or how they wouldn't be with anyone else. Women say the same for men and love them so much. A lot of people get romance too and when they are dating someone, they are dating their other half, best friend, and lover. I always hear about proposals too. Everyone gets married or meets the person of their dreams. I'm a 25-year-old female, I am pretty, smart, and nice. I have never experienced anything like this. I have dated guys but have never had a guy say anything amazing about me or even give me a nice gift. I've never gotten close to getting a proposal. I've never met a guy who was a lover but also my best friend til the end. What makes people want to be with certain people and love them to the point where they profess their love, propose, become best friends and lovers, etc?

How do I win her back, or do I just let go?
