I'm jealous of other men who can fart whenever they want. But I once in a blue moon fart. I want to fart more. Why can't I fart?

I really don't have the time to spend going to these get togethers or setting up for things, I can on the day of, like the day of a shower or the day of the bachelorette party, but not additional days like to do envelopes or favors or see the venues. Is this not acceptable that I don't attend these things? i feel like I'll be on the s*** list if I can't make it to that stuff. I feel weird to always say no I can't make it.
