Question: Me and my friend like the same boy, but she doesn't know it.? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 05:57 PM PST I have liked this boy for a while now, and have told my close friends about it, but one of my other (less close but still good friends who doesn't know I like him) told me a couple weeks ago that she likes him a lot. i was uncomfortable when she told me and so I didn't tell her I liked him too, and just went along with it. Now for the past couple weeks I've been trying to act as nice and supportive as possible but I really want to pursue this boy and feel like it's too late now that she thinks she liked him first. It weird because she can't "claim" him cause they haven't even dated, and he doesn't like her back, but regardless I don't want to go behind her back, what do I do? |
Question: What are some tips or signs to look for to identify a backstabbing relative or friend? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 05:55 PM PST I know this question is really broad but I've had to deal with backstabbing and manipulative relatives and friends my whole life without knowing how they're gonna turn out. Mostly relatives who would like nothing more than to ruin me, whether its business related or etc. My problem is I don't know if these people are gonna be bad or not, is there ways you can identify them. Like behavior, the way they talk etc. If anybody has experience with this, please tell me. how do you see through their fascade. I know this seems like a cat and mouse question but please try to the best of your ability. |
Posted: 01 Jan 2017 05:43 PM PST I'm 15 and I only have a lot of fake friends, but none that i could really trust and relay to. Will that fix from itself or should i do something? |
Question: How would you feel if an old friend of yours all the sudden wrote you this email? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 05:31 PM PST "How you been doing these days? I'm doing good. Is there anything you like for me to improve on and for me to be a better friend for others? I feel people telling me the things I need to improve on would really help me better myself and for me to know myself more from another person's perspective, if I feel something is wrong I want to know what happened so I can change for the better. I became friends with someone who turned out to be a total jerk with anger issues along with a violent temper, me having to go through that is inspiring me to become a better person and a better friend for everyone else. While I feel hurt and betrayed over the kind of person he turned out to be I feel like it's giving me an opportunity to do more for my friends and to be the best friend I can be. I am really sorry I wasn't a very good friend to you and your friends and that I haven't done much for you. I feel like my friendship with this particular person was my punishment for not being a good friend for you and your friends, I really want another opportunity to be a better friend for you and other people" |

Question: Do you think my friend needs to grow up because he is stalking this woman? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 05:01 PM PST My friend is stalking this singer that he likes and he recently found out that she owns a nail shop. He figured out that this is her day job the job that she works when she is not singing or performing on stage. He is obsessed with her and wants to meet her in concert one day. She is married from what he says but he says he doesn't care if she's married or not and that he loves her for the way she is. He says he can even drive to her nail shop if he wanted to. I told him to stop this creepy activity but he won't listen. Do you think he needs to grow up ? |
Posted: 01 Jan 2017 04:53 PM PST So I have a friend who has aspergers and bipolar disorder and he is so immature in my opinion. He is 25 and has no job and I feel like he doesn't want to look for a job because everytime I ask if he has a job yet he says I applied but no one called me back yet. He's been saying that for the past 4 years. He is a college drop out and failed college and says college is too hard. He spends his freetime stalking these asian singers. He is asian and he is stalking this one singer that he likes and he found out that she owns a nail shop that is her day job the job that she works when she is not singing. I told him to quit it and grow up but he won't listen. Is he immature in your opinion ? |

Question: How do be less nervous about going on a school trip where I don't really know anyone? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 04:32 PM PST I'm taking a trip abroad in a few weeks through my school. I'm super excited about traveling, but I'm also kind of nervous because I don't really know anyone that's on the trip. I'm "acquaintances" with maybe 2 or 3 people, but I don't really talk to them too often. I feel kind of weird not knowing anyone too well because it seems like everyone else knows at least one other person. It'd be one thing if this were just a class on campus, but since we're all traveling together it's different. I consider myself a friendly and semi-outgoing person, but I tend to get anxious in situations where I don't really know anyone. How can I set my nerves aside, and be excited about my trip and meeting and becoming friends with new people? Or maybe just stop caring about what people might think? Thanks in advance! I just want to be excited about my trip without having to worry about this small thing! |

Question: Why do I get so sad about not being that wealthy? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 04:27 PM PST my family has never been that rich. we live in a nice small town, but all of my friends' families make more money than mine and I don't invite people over to my house because I'm embarrassed of it. the one thing I want in life is to have a nice house. whenever I think about my family's income or anything related to this situation I'm discussing right now, I get extremely sad and start crying and I don't know why I want to have a nice house so badly. *DO NOT answer me with some be grateful for what you have bs, I AM grateful for what I have and I know some people have it worse than me so don't say anything* I'm only 14 years old so I can't get a job also DO NOT answer me with "you're just jealous and shallow" |
Question: I NEED TO SHOWER BUT THE BATHROOM IS DIRTY. WHAT SHOULD I Do? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 04:23 PM PST Okay I know this might sound crazy but let me explain. I am 17 years old my mom is disabled. My older brother and sisters live with me and one of my sisters boyfriend (their ages are 19, 21, 23, and 25). Well my oldest sister(25) and I are are clashing with everyone because they won t clean after themselves. We look like we live in a dumpster, we have mice, and the house stinks. Any way, the bathroom and should and kitchen should ALWAYS be clean, My sister and I have ralked to them about cleaning up after themselves, that didn t work so we had no choice but to clean after them. The biggest problem is that Everytime we clean they dirt it in less than a day. Im tired of cleaning for someone to come and trash it right after. They are adults not kids. So I m not cleaning after anyone anymore, bur the problem is the bathroom and shower is really dirty and I want to get in the shower. It woould take me a few days to clean it and I need to shower NOW. I feel disgusting brushing my teeth and washing my face in that bathroom. I don t have friends or relatives house I can go to for a shower. What should I do? |
Question: How to make new friends? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 04:21 PM PST So I'm very nervous about highschool. I know it's like 6 months away, but I am still scared. Any tips how to make new friends in highschool? |
Question: My friends are all into getting drunk and doing stupid **** all the time but I'm not? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 04:11 PM PST We're 16 and 17. We usually get together every now and then and some drink to the point that they're completely wasted, while others, like me and my best friend, split a wine cooler and basically parent the rest of our horny, hammered friends. It's getting to the point where I just don't want to be a part of it anymore. Sometimes it lands me in uncomfortable situations where drunk guy friends of mine try to pressure me into drinking or having sex with them. I like this guy who's kinda the same way as me and I recently promised him that I would try to avoid parties like that because he didn't want to see something bad happen to me. And I agree. How do my best friend and I get out of these parties? They involve our entire friend group and we can't keep making excuses. Help? |
Question: Changing friendship groups? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 03:39 PM PST I know there are other people who have asked similar questions to this but none of them have really helped so please give literally any ideas. Basically I m in this friendship group and I ve realised that apart from this one girl I m really close with I have little on common with the others and I only find hanging out with them stressful so I want to hang out these other girls (couple of them I quite close to and others I m kind of friendly with). I want to eat and hang out with them at lunch but they normally eat at the table right next to the one I eat at so I feel like I can t just go and sit with them coz my other friends who I have been sitting next to everyday for 3 years will be upset and I ll be able to hear them and see them looking at me. It will just be really awkward. But I really need to change friendships. Sorry for this being so long but please give me some advice about what to do. Btw I have other friends as well and I know everyone says you shouldn t but I jus like having a group of friends to sit with and go shopping with - stuff like that. |
Question: Accidentally lied about trying weed? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 03:33 PM PST I was hanging out with new people and they asked me if i have ever tried weed. I havent tried weed but i gave them the impression that i did And said yes. What do i do they might think im a faker |
Question: Is she a nosy b-I-t---? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 03:29 PM PST My sister Jill and her family visited after Christmas . Jill has Crystal who is seven years old. Jill allows Crystal to wear just a top and underpants if she wishes. My neighbor Patricia lives down the road and is very nosy. Thursday Crystal was playing with her dolls in just a shirt and underpants when Patricia stopped by for a short visit. Patricia found Crystal very cute in her nylon briefs. Later that afternoon Crystal had misbehaved and my brother in law sat down in the recliner chair and gave her a spanking. Patricia when we met at the market told me when she was walking her dog that she seen "daddy warming up the little ones panty with his hand" Which means she was nosy and sneaked up to our porch to be able to see such details! What should I tell Patricia now I think she was being nosy?? |

Question: I need dire help friend issues? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 02:37 PM PST So me and my friend were helping each other troll our other friends. My friend trolled my other friend, lets call her X, and X got extremely pissed off cause my friend was pretending that X's boyfriend was cheating. I admitted to X it was just a joke. X became extremely angry at me and spammed angry faces, writing "if there is one thing you should know about me its that I dont find pranks about my boyfriends funny, I've been through this b4 and I punched the hoe in the face aleta!" anyways she is in my math class so the **** do I do cause I didn't know she was gonna get extremely angry over it lol |

Question: Need some advice regarding my best friend dropping me for her boyfriend? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 02:26 PM PST I'm writing this because I need to get this off my chest and I need advice outside of my family. About a month ago my best friend got a new bf that she didn't tell me about until we ran into him walking to Starbucks after school. She'd never mentioned him at all before, she just said that another one of her friends set them up. A week later we were at the mall and she told me they already made out. That was a month ago. Ever since we've barely talked, and I've always had to be the one to reach out to her, and she's always been the one to break it off. She didn't text me "Merry Xmas!" or "Happy New Year!" or anything. We haven't seen each other since the mall, and at first I thought she might be going through some stuff and needed her space, which I'd be okay with, but now I know that's not the case because the past few days she's been posting a ton of pictures of the two of them hanging out and basically just bragging that she has a boyfriend. It really hurts because she was the only person who I thought really "got" me, and I'm very introverted and have very few other friends, so I placed a lot of value on our friendship. Now that I realize she hasn't, I'm wondering what I should do. My family told me this is just normal teen girl behavior, but I thought she was different. I'm wondering if I should just stop reaching out to her and wait for her to come back to me. What would you do if your best friend of two years dropped you for her boyfriend of a month and a half? |
Question: Me and my friend like the same guy, but she doesn't know? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 02:09 PM PST I've liked this guy for a while but she didn't know because I don't really trust her, though I have told my other close friends. She recently told me she liked him, but I felt uncomfortable and didn't tell her I liked him too. I thought she would get over him by now but she really likes him and talks about him to me all the time. I really want to pursue this guy but now that she said she liked him first he is "hers", what do I do? Also he doesn't like her. |
Question: How do I deal with a friend who is drifting away from me? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 01:47 PM PST We have been close friends for about 8 years, and I remember her as the nicest person you could meet. Three years ago however, she started high school. The school she went to is well known as our city s most snobbish one, and there s a "better than everyone else" atmosphere. I slowly started to notice that she was becoming a different person, but I didn t really think that much about it until recently. She has now started university in a city 60 km away, and me and my friends went to visit her a few months ago (which is not the easiest thing beacuse of money & time). A few days ago I heard from a friend that she s back home, but she never told me (she told my other friends). All I got from her was a snapchat from a party yesterday, and I asked her in a friendly way if she was back home. Next time I checked my phone I saw that my text was read an hour ago. At the same time she s busy posting instagram pictures with my other friends (they have done nothing wrong, just to clarify). What should I do? |
Question: My 'friends' really annoy me and there's like no other people in my class to go to? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 01:30 PM PST 1 of them is immature and always wants to be right, even if she knows nothing about the topic. For some reason she's started to act 'hood' and kinda bitchy with the way she talks. She's scared to go to the park incase she gets kidnapped and thinks everything is 'dodgy' which is really bitchy to me. another one of them is also kinda immature and has this stupid temper sometimes for no reason. Gets into pointless arguments because of her temper (this girl gets angry for no reason and tells people not to test her..Like no one did anything to you???). another one of them is SUCH drama queen and maybe a little immature. another one of them is very immature this is like this weird group of friends in my class which I feel like I have no choice but to hang out with because everyone else in my class doesn't seem interested in me. I have other friends outside of school who have no problem with me, honestly I'm just an average teenage girl who has dreams. These 'friends' have NEVER hang out outside of school and it's the weirdest squad you could ever think of. ??!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Feel like crying else in my class doesn't seem interested in me because I'm not like them I AM SIMPLY STATING FACTS. SO IF YOU THINK I'M A *****, THEN YOU CAN LEAVE |

Question: I have trouble finding things? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 12:57 PM PST I just can't find things like even when they're in front of me. It's so embarrassing. Like someone will point to something and say, "it's over there." and have troubles seeing where they're talking about. I always look stupid when that happens and it happens to me all the time. Even when I have my glasses on, I just have this fear of that happening and it does. People never want to talk to me anymore because they start to believe I'm dumb because of it. Like one time I was looking for these A sized bags at work and I spent over 5 minutes looking for them. One of my coworkers came up to me and said, "it right here!" And started laughing at me, not with me. That's why I quit that job, there was rude people working there. So why does this happen to me? |

Question: Why does my friend always do this? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 12:17 PM PST I suck at history but last year in AP world he always relied on me a lot and wanted to "compare answers" on homework and I was usually like "aight fine" but this year we have APUS during different periods and we don't usually contact each other. This kid isn't even really my friend but he still texts me sometimes when we have a big assignment and always wants to know what answers I got like fck off do your own work but I can't say that to him, I've gotta take SATs and ACTs and do my jrp and think about college and prepare for midterms and do my own stuff and he better do that too. I can't have him piggybacking off of my stuff forever. I can't do work for 2 people and I want him to leave me alone |
Question: How to get over a friend just dropping you? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 12:16 PM PST My old best friend for 5 years just suddenly decided to drop me and started hanging out with another group who I'm also friends with and the other day I messaged him and he just ignored me and I can't get over it |
Posted: 01 Jan 2017 12:14 PM PST I'm dealing with the loss of my 2 aunts and my older friend came to check on me. I was very sick and cry and she was comforting me, I was saying how upset I was and how unbearable things were becoming. She was hugging me. Then I started saying " My anxiety builds as I get older because I know more losses are coming." Then she said "sweetie stop" and then she added "do you think your loved ones would like you being so torn apart?.. imagine how happy they must be in Heaven-" Was she getting mad at me when she told me "sweetie stop" |

Posted: 01 Jan 2017 11:49 AM PST We've been friends sense 8th grade. We are now in our early 20s. There is no doubt we've just lost connection. I'm not sure if he's noticed, but I sure have. He has a different/annoying personality, at least in my opinion. He just has bad social skills, and sometimes just comes off rude to strangers wich makes it very difficult for him to make friends. I think he's noticed that our friendship has run it's course. It's just, I'm his only friend and he doesn't want to lose that. Idk, we've just grown apart, simple as that. It's time we start waiting each others time. I need to tell him this so we could both move with our lives. I know he's going to be devastated. But it's gotta be done. Help, please. sorry for the terrible grammar near the end. |

Question: Is this sexual harassment? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 11:11 AM PST My boss at work who is a good friend called me in his office one day and asked me if I wanted to be considered for a new position in the company. Jokingly I said "I like to try new positions". With a big smile on his face, he said "If my boss knew what I was thinking now, I would be fired on the spot". We both had a good laugh. In the employee break room I told some of my female co workers about this and they told me that was sexual harassment. What do you think? Was that sexual harassment? If it was, who was harassing who? |

Question: Was what I did cause my friendship with my buddy be terminated? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 10:00 AM PST My buddy Bill invited me to come over to his house and hang out. When I got there he introduced me to his mom. WOW. I told Bill he was lucky to have such a beautiful mom. Bill said lets go swimming in his pool and we did. His mom came out of the house and decided to join us in the pool. OH MY GOD. Her bathing suit was the smallest I had ever seen in my life. It was a micro string bikini. It left NOTHING to the imagination. Suddenly I had a problem. I got a b0ner. I had to stay in the water until it went down. It would be totally embarrassing if either Bill or his mom knew I got a b0ner. I knew then that I could NEVER come over to Bill's house again because if I saw his mom, all I could think of was her in THAT bathing suit and something would come up. Someone please tell me how I can tell him that I can not come to his house again. Guys, is it possible he would understand my problem. Would he be insulted if I told him the real reason I could not come over and it be the end of our friendship? |
Question: Should I say thank you for my co workers compliment? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 09:57 AM PST The boss in the department I work for took a 3 week vacation and appointed me to take his place while he was away. I thought there might be a problem having a lot of men working for a woman (me) but that was not the case. We all had a nice working relationship. On the Friday the day before our boss returned from vacation my coworkers brought in a cake for me to share with everyone. The cake had this written on it. "You were a great boss and the most beautiful boss we have ever had". The Human Relations guy told my co workers not to do that again as it was a sexual thing to do. The next Monday when our boss returned from vacation my co workers told our boss what the Human Relations guy had told them. He said "Screw the Human Relations guy". "I agree 100 percent with what was written on the cake". I am not sure how I should feel about this. Should I tell my boss and my co workers thank you for the compliment? Did my co workers do something wrong? |
Question: I have no friends that I like in my new highschool? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 09:44 AM PST Last year I moved away from montana to new jersey in the summer between 7th and 8th grade. In montana I was very social and had a lot of great friends and people who I didnt know as well loved me. The first day of 8th grade I felt hopeless because I hadnt met anyone that I wanted to become friends with. After 8th grade I had gotten to know a lot of people at school but I still didnt find anyone who I truly liked. The problem was me being impatient and I was really negative on the situation. Now im a freshman and I still feel the same way even though I have changed my outlook on life and I have become more positive. I now have some kids that I stick with at school but I have no motivation to hangout with them after school because I still dont like them that much. I no it sounds negative and maybe I just need to push my self out of my comfort zone. Thank you for any advice you have whatever it is may change my perspective |
Question: Do you think this is as disgusting as I do? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 09:43 AM PST I am a college student. In one of my classes we were told to do a class project the would "Enhance our knowledge of the world". We choose a project that was a test. The athletic director of the college, a guy, had an opening for an assistant. My classmate Betty is very flat chested (A cup). We had Betty apply for the job. Betty has an A grade point average. She has volunteer coached several college sports teams and has been a player on several college sports teams. She had a resume that detailed all her sports experience. Betty's interview lasted one half hour and they ask her many questions about sports rules and the sports teams she liked. She answered every one of the questions My classmate Nancy bought the biggest bra she could find (G cup) and stuffed it with tissue. She wore a blond wig to the interview for the job. She wore a sweater that showed off her big boobs and she wore Daisy Duke style shorts. She had no resume and no sports experience and no interest in sports. She had a C grade point average. He interview lasted 5 minutes and mostly considered of whether she could work on weekends. We all learned a great lesson from this and it really enhanced our knowledge of the world. Nancy got the job offer. I think that is disgusting. Is it legal to discriminate in hiring because of boob size? Should we inform the college president of this or the local media or do nothing? Please give us your opinion what we should do. THANKS |

Question: What is the best way to forget friends you no longer want to be friends with? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 09:17 AM PST |
Question: How do you meet people? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 08:55 AM PST And I don't mean meeting someone like having one conversation at a coffee shop or book store, I mean actually meeting someone, like take their number home and be able to talk to them as a friend. Some information on me, I'm 23, socially awkward, have a constant fear of being found annoying by people, have at the moment 2 close friends and about 3 people who I don't talk to now that I've graduated college. I also fear texting and stuff because I've never done it right and always sent too many texts or asked he wrong stuff. I have no male friends or acquaintances. It's been over a year since the last guy lied and used me, and hurt me. There were others before him and I've never been treated like I was worth anything more than a text everyday six days or a sudden ghosting when they decided I wasn't worth talking to. I don't know how to do it. |
Question: Feeling super rebellious lately? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 08:16 AM PST so I started middle school last year (so I'm 13) and I got in trouble quite a bit in primary school so I decided to settle down and start fresh and get grades and all of that, but since I'm no longer in year 7 and kinda discovered who I am as a person all of that "good" stuff just makes me bored now. I secretly wanted to sneak out at night and kinda get tipsy and all of that and do things I know I shouldn't, but all of my friends are such goody two shoes and don't do **** and all I wanna do is let go. I am sensible and can tell right from wrong but this feeling keeps getting stronger everyday, is it normal?? you have to make mistakes in life and I'm sick of people telling me it's wrong to do stuff that I wanna do, yeah I might regret it in the future but yeah so again, is this normal? |

Question: How can I stop "mean-mugging" people? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 06:55 AM PST First off, Happy New Year! Second off, since last week, I've been the center of some work gossip because of how I come off as a mean mugger & an anti-social person. I work at FedEx Ground as a package handler which requires me to get up early (like 2-3 AM ish). I only picked the early shift because I know I'll be busy during the day & evening. I think the reason why I mean-mug is because I get irritated because I'm too focused on getting the job done. I'm also pretty shy, & I don't like initiating conversations because of how I used to get ignored by people in the past. Sometimes, I would also (unintentionally) ignore my coworkers when they try to talk to me because I am too focused on the job &/or too cranky because I come to the job without having breakfast &/or enough sleep. It has nothing to do with how I feel about my coworkers, because I don't know some of them enough to decide whether I like them or not. I know you're supposed to ignore the gossip, but I feel bad for being portrayed the way I do. I don't like drama or anything, so the fact that I'm getting dragged in gossip hurts me. Gossip hurts, & I don't want to make friends &/or associate with people who gossip. |
Question: I think I just lost my bestfriend? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 06:18 AM PST She texted me merry christmas and i responded but after that I never got a reply. She s been on all social media though so I guess she s ignoring me. Here it is New Years and I haven t gotten any type of text. I don t know if she expects something from me but I don t wanna text her because I m tired of putting my pride aside to talk to her when she stops talking to me out of nowhere. I m not really guilty of anything but maybe she found out something and is mad at me. Who knows. She s been talking to a lot of other people except me. It s been days. I guess we re not friends anymore if I don t hear from her today right? I feel like if I was important to her then she d say something but I guess not. Tenth grade sucks lol |
Question: Was she getting mad at me? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 05:31 AM PST I'm dealing with the loss of my 2 aunts and my older friend came to check on me. I was very sick and cry and she was comforting me, I was saying how upset I was and how unbearable things were becoming. She was hugging me. Then I started saying " My anxiety builds as I get older because I know more losses are coming." Then she said "sweetie stop" and then she added "do you think your loved ones would like you being so torn apart?.. imagine how happy they must be in Heaven |
