My best friend always gets the attention from all the guys (and girls too). She's mean and turns down everyone who asks her out, and is very hard to get. But, she dresses nice, smells nice, has beautiful long curly hair, has an hourglass figure (even though we're only 14). All the guys drool over her and flirt with her. She's always the center of attention. I get that I'm lower-middle class, I can't afford "nice" clothes (my clothes are OK but I hate them still), My hair is always a frizzy curly tangled mess thrown into a bun, my face is always oily or dry, and I have small boobs. Keep in mind, we're both really shy, yet she still gets all the attention. Everyone always wants to be her friend and I'm just..kinda..left out. I've cried myself to sleep knowing that I'll never be good enough for anyone...don't be fake sweet and say "I'm sure you're just as pretty as her, any guy would be lucky to have you". | Posted: 02 May 2016 04:58 PM PDT Around 3 weeks ago I beat this pimply faced little idiot in the gym locker room. I've always hated that kid. So smug and annoying. Im 21 and he's 14 so yes I realize it's abusive. Surprisingly I didn't get any cops knocking on my door. Yesterday I found out why. It seems that his family didn't want to see me get arrested but instead wanted to punish me themselves. I was walking out of a bar drunk with a female friend who was my "designated driver" and then 5 of his family members surrounded us in the parking lot. One of them held her against the car while the others told me who they were and asked me if I knew why they were there. I told them yes, and then they proceeded to beat me very brutally for around a minute. My nose got broken and the bruises are extremely painful. Thankfully they didnt hurt my lady friend. They told me if I called the cops they would also tell them about what I did. Okay, Im pretty sure my ribs are cracked but Ive dealt with that before so its not too bad, my nose got broken but I put it back in place and it should heal. However one of the women involved in my beating had a shard heel or something that cut my arm. so I burned it with a lighter to stop the bleeding. Should I turn them in for this? Or just forget it? My friend wanted to call the police but I said NO! I could get arrested as well. Should I just forget about it and accept the punishment. I mean I deserved it in a wa believe me if i were actually trolling, even though i think that's a waste of time. it would be a million times more dramatic than this, which is true, so go away. |

I could really understand people on an emotional level! And then that stopped. I've had to many times where I have 2 answers and 10 questions Answer my question with what I gave you I wrote this once but when I looked up I was 1300 characters over so I'm gonna try to shorten this. I'm friends with this girl. She was really nice to me at first but now she sits there and makes fun of my weight, appearance, and sometimes I really wanna cry. There are some days I wanna cut them off but then they'll be really nice to me and invite me places. I've bought them things, been a really good friend, supported them through hard times, but they've done none of that back. If I leave them I'll have no where to go when it comes to places like classes, lunch tables, etc. bc I'm near all of them in all of them. They tell me to leave the lunch table so another friend can sit there, or because they need to speak in privacy, but they do any of that. at lunch there is a empty seat side by side because they don't want to sit by me, they call me ugly and fat and say I smell bad. But in the end they will be really nice and say they're sorry or that they're kidding. When I try to bring it up they go off on me and say they said they're sorry. They will say they're going to hack my snapchat but will go through my messages and phone history. But if I leave them I have no where to go and will have probably no friends because they talk bad about all the people they cut off. I don't know what to do. |

I currently am on my last year of college and will be applying to Law school very soon. I get good grades and unlike more than half my high school class, I was accepted straight into a four year. Somehow people still can't believe I'm even graduating. Most of my friends are in their late 20s early 30s. I can't relate to people my age. My best friend is in his 30s and others can't believe he hangs out with me. He himself is an engineer so he isn't stupid. I just feel hurt because the other day he told me two of his friends called me an idiot. He just told me it's cause I'm naive and say silly things. His friends didn't even graduate college and work for freaking lyft so they should really get over themselves. There my face irresistibly makes a weird face. So the idiot he is, says " I am going to snitch on you for telling" and I didn't even really tell him. I don't need any friends because my mom fills me up socially enough that I don't need to venture out for them . my boyfriend doesn't understand this . is this considered weird and should I be worried? Should I fight my mom off to have friends just to look cool ? |

The have shower stalls with curtains we are 13 and 14 year old boys and decided to play a game when in the showers me and my one friends who has seen my penis and I have seen his we went to each other's shower at random times and opened the curtains. We kept doing this till we went at the same time and bump into each other and touched penis. | Posted: 02 May 2016 10:54 AM PDT Hey guys! I really need some advice on a predicament I'm in. So my school does this thing where every year we take a trip to a roller coaster park. It's on a Monday everyone has off, and it's optional to go or not. I really don't enjoy roller coasters, and last year, I skipped it, and was jokingly judged pretty harshly -- didn't feel good. People talked about how awesome it was for days, and just kept saying harsh things to me since I did not go. Well this year, I was planning on going (my girlfriend is going as well) to avoid harsh punishment for missing it twice from my friends, but last minute I changed my mind. My parents said it was fine if I skipped it, so that's what happened. Now it's the day I skipped it, and I see all these Snapchats/messages from my girlfriend (she wouldn't judge me, it'd be my friends who would) and her friends and my friends, and I'm too scared to open them.. Does anyone have any ideas for excuses as to why I could not go? And please do not say to say I don't like roller coasters, because my friends know, and do not care. I really do not want to be judged by them even more harshly this year. Could really use some help/perspective/opinion/excuses from the open and not judgmental people of Yahoo. I'm 18 and I don't behave like a normal teenager. I'm not silly or dance around or be myself of make people laugh. Even with my best friend of 5 years, I'm not silly. I'm so to myself and awkward and I fcking hate it man. I see her having so much fun with other people and I wish that could be me. At work I don't really walk to people unless they talk to me. When people are telling me a story I don't really know what to say but oh and yea. I haven't been around people my age for about two years cus I did online school. I'm not fun or anything. Posted: 02 May 2016 10:44 AM PDT I've been through a lot in the past year and stopped going to public school about 2 years ago so I don't really have friends or hangs it's anyone my age. When I was in school, I had sooo many friends. I was the class clown and everything. I'd walk through the hallway and ever 5 seconds there's someone saying my name wanting to talk to me. First semester of 10 grade I moved to a new state and was depressed and sad because we were pretty poor and I became anti social because I was insecure. Started a new school and was insecure and went there for 1 years and stopped going in 11thcgrade. Now I started working recently and noticed how socially awkward I am. People talk to me I don't really know what to say but ohh, mhm, yea. How can I stop this? I'm so shy and it's killing me |

They re always scratching and my mom even pointed out one to my friend ( it was on her forehead and she thought it was makeup or something). They gave it to me and I got rid of it but it s back again ! I can t avoid them because that s horrible and they re my bestfriends but I have to tell them. How would you guys tell them ? |

So I just got a new job at a Makeup counter and I have already worked a few shifts my boss he is really nice and some of the girls are super nice as well but there are some girls that ignore me if I greet them or compliment them & give me a little side eye action when ever I do something or if I have a question about a product or where it could be they tell idk. I want to brush it off but I really enjoy what I do and I know not everyone has to like me but it's not my character to be mean or be catty .. I just would like to feel like I'm apart of the team. Some girls pull to the side and talk and I've tried being involved but that didn't help either. One thing that did happen was the the regional trainer grabbed me and my boss and told me to never change that I was so pleasant and polite and that to her I'm like a breath of fresh air. I just need some advice on how to brush it off so it's not awkward at work. Thanks everyone ! |

It seems like I have more use of her than I really do enjoy hanging out with her, it's not that I don't enjoy her presence but mostly I need her help for school and all that good stuff. She is always happy do help me even tho I can be a bloody bastard or w\e... I feel like I'm using her for my own purposes and I want to fix that, I want to enjoy every single moment spent with her. I don't want to use her, I want myself to act like a friend, to be a friend, best friend, because this is not me, I don't do stuff like this, I never use people but just now I feel like I've been using her a lot lately. |

I only have 4 friends in a school of 350 and they're not even in my own class. They're all older than me and we all get along really well. The problem is with my own class, I'm always alone. Even when I try talking to them and always being there for them they never return the favor and never seem to care. My own class mates always have inside jokes and often make me look like the dumb person when I'm not. In P.E I usually have no partner and nobody wants to pair up with me, they all claim to have their own friends. The problem is not with my appearance because strangers often call me beautiful and cute. I also keep very good hygiene, and I'm athletic and in shape. I often get bullied for being a foreigner, people refer to me as "Polish" when I'm actually from Lithuania. and I'm often laughed at for unknown reasons. I've tried to ignore it but it really hurts sometimes knowing that people hate you and your country, based on the actions of single person. Sure I'm not your typical teenager. I don't go to discos, I don't go to parties and I'm obedient to my parents and teachers. I never get into trouble at school and I work hard in school. I think the amount of effort you put into something is the amount you get back. I'm the person whose always there for everyone friendly and kind, but yet I get rejected. I have no problem in school except when I have to do pair work or P.E Why do I always feel like the odd one out? ): |

I m really glad they view me as a trustworthy person but some of these secrets are really big and I don t really know how to deal with knowing some of the stuff that I know about people. I have one friend who I FB, he sees the message, then replies back like 3 or 4 days later, acting like he has done nothing wrong. Should I say something to him about it, or just let the friendship dye out, as I clearly am not a priority to him. I know he is not busy as well cause I always see him online, posting on social media. |
