Posted: 06 May 2016 04:39 PM PDT My family friends bat mitzvah is tommorrow, but I do not know her or her family and have never talked to them they are just friends with my parents. I do not know ANYONE else going and i am going to be so bored. Someone in my grade is having a party that my friends and I are invited to, the same day. My mom had told me the bat mitzvah was an afternoon party so i assumed I could go to this other party. I told my mom about the party and she said i could go. Then she decided to check when the bath mitzvah is and it s a night party!! It starts at 6 and this other party starts at 8. I really do not want to go to this bat mitzvah. My mom said that i can go to my other party after the dinner is served but she said she will not drive me, and i can t take an uber... So how am I suppose to get there. It is extemly fustrating and i don t know what to do. Please I ve me advice on how to convince them to drive me its only 10 minutes away so they wouldn t be gone for long. |

This was because I had been bullied in my earlier years of elementary school which turned me into a b*tch but I was very happy. I got in trouble with the teachers a lot but that didn't stop me from being really popular. I got in so much trouble one time that my parents decided that we needed to move states because they didn't want my bad rep to ruin my chances of having a good next year. I'm currently in a new state and Idek who I am anymore. People now see me as the shy innocent girl but I know that's not who I am. I'm very confused and don't know what to do. I got out and walked over to the front porch and watched them interact with one another. Then, my best friend noticed that I was watching and said, "Alright break. Wow boy." He walked over and kissed me on my forehead, then we got a surprise visitor asking us if we were having sex. My best friend turned around and said, "Boy, you know darn well that ain't happening. His little cousin invited both of us and the family to come watch him play in his first little league game of the spring/summer games. If my kid is just as good as JJ is, I will be blessed." We got to the park where the game was and JJ was warming up and one of the teammates ask him who I was and JJ says, "My cousin's baby momma." JJ was definitely a good pitcher for his team and we decided to take him to get ice cream afterwards with family. After we got ice cream at the local ice cream shop in town, JJ wanted to know when we were going to have kids so he could have someone to throw the ball with. I always drive her if it is in my convenience but she does makes me drive her even if it is not. She would go to my place and get me to drive her simply for a ride. I've been struggling with this for a very long time and am struggling coming to grips with what is going on. My friend is a 24 year old guy (I'm also 24 guy) and he has a rare form of cancer which is unable to be cured. He is dying and doesn't have a long time to live. He was diagnosed a couple months ago when he passed out and had a seizure at work. He's been in the hospital ever since since he can't be home alone and have a seizure, he doesn't have a girlfriend so he would be living alone and his family isn't close by. So he was told he only has about 6-10 months to live. It makes me very upset, we've known each other since we were 4 years old. He's like a brother and I truly love him like one. I can't imagine my life without him. I've become very depressed lately knowing he doesn't have much longer. Recently I celebrated his birthday with him in the hospital and it hit me really hard knowing that this will be his last birthday. I went home that day and completely broke down. I never tell him how sad I actually am about this and I never cry in front of him about this, I just don't want to upset him. Should I tell him how truly upset I am? What else can I do for him to make his last months of his life better? I pretty much cry every night about this, I don't want to lose him and it saddens me so much to watch someone I care about die in front of me. Also how can I prepare for his inevitable death? I ve only recently started to feel bad for using them for some reason, i don t know, just the fact that they are considered bad? It was a selfie, so nothing inappropriate. He put it as his computer background (our school has laptops for each kid) and wouldn't take it off. He finally did, so I turned around and left when I heard more laughing and he had put it back and showed an entire group of students. A group of girls I used to be friends with is being really mean to me and rolling their eyes, ignoring me when I'm forced to talk to them for class purposes, and then yelling at me in the hallways in the morning when it is already loud for things I never said. They spread mean rhmors about me and say I gossip about others. A girl in my art class was passing notes about me and showing it to other people and laughing at it and nobody would tell me what it was about. It was really embarrasing and I was really upset but tried not to show it. She then looked at me really meanly and kept asking if I was mad yet. Our school had a survey just this morning about how many times you had been bullied and how and if you had bullied anyone. The survey was anonymous so they could track it but not immediately. I didn't get to talk about the girl passing the notes because it happened after I filled out the survey. I'm not really sad about it but more angryC and I want it to stop. I've started to report it but I think it may get worse if I do. The girls sent me to the office three times trying to get me in trouble! |

Over the summer, I started a band with me as lead singer and rhythm guitar, and a lot of people in my town liked it. So, when I came back to school, a lot of the popular kids were acting like I was their pal. I went with it for a couple weeks, and each day I kept on telling myself I would be myself the next day. One day, I tried to hang out with my old friends, but they hated me because I was hanging out with popular people. So, I went back to the popular people, and they tell me if immto be their friend again, I would have to bully someone. I was desperate, so I did. Also, This isn't the first time she has lashed out at us for hanging without her. I ignored everything at first. Then I finally sent her a text 2 days later saying that there's no reason to be this upset, the person organizing it isn't even her friend just someone she knows and that I felt hurt that she would lash out so badly, cussing at us, deleting us on FB etc. Especially since I'm her sister!It was a very calm honest text. Just talking and expressing my feelings. She wrote back stating there's no need to make her feel worse about herself and she has depression/anxiety and we don't know how she feels, etc. Then she said to never contact her again.I haven't contacted her since but she keeps sending me pictures about depression, saying "this will help you understand me." I have a lot of experience with mental illness with friends and family so I know how she feels and how tiring it is. Her mom is very nice but sometimes she won't let us hang out which is fine. But I try to help her by listening giving advice we even cried together once. She went through A LOT recently and whenever were together we talk. I'm also going through some struggles but I'm emotional strong and I really give it to my friend she keeps going and always tried her best at everything. So I need some advice. Now I am smiley, loud and confident. Sadly I am losing some of my self confidence because many people don't see me as someone they want to get to know. One of my close friends is cheer captain, paegant teen, model, etc. another one of my close friends is super popular and kind and liked by everyone. I have trouble in school sometimes. I leave class kind of often because I'm about to cry. I have cried in class before (today too) my guy friend also my crush is one of my friends and he is honestly the nicest, sweetest guy I know. We are very a like in personality but he is on varsity basketball, goes to parties, hangs out with girls etc. we just became friends in March and we made plans to hang out with me and my other friend. I know he genuinely likes me as a friend and I mind my friends do too but others don't so it makes me question why they do even though they do. Does it matter? I don't want to lose my guy friend because he doesn't know I have left class in cried I really don't think he would care but I get worried. Does it matter? |

She constantly brags about her gpa (even though mine is higher) She brags about doing good in this standardized test- the ACT (even though I DID BETTER) Because my grades are better, she tells me I work to hard for the college I want to go to, even though i know for a fact that your acceptance to a college also depends which major you want. (ex. Engineering versus Art) She always talks about her boyfriend During lunch I'll be talking to someone and she'll interrupt our convo to talk about something that happened to her I consider myself a really nice person, but she really brings out the bad side in me. How do I deal with her? i cant fully ignore her because she is in some of my classes and in my friend group, even tho most of my friends cant stand her... i hate being a fake friend but ive distanced myself as much as i can |

She couldn't hear me. She said I'm just like a boy who barely talks and you could barely hear him when he talks(I never heard him talking or saying anything before). She said that I'm just like him really loudly. I could see people starring at me a certain way.(I even felt like they knew I was embarrassed). I also felt like they thought it was true. I always try to make them think I'm cool and I even think that they really think I'm cool too. I didn't go to school today and I feel like they might know that I didn't come to school today because of this. I I felt really embarrassed and it hurted my feelings. I'm in high school. What do you think of this situation and what should I do? |

We started to become close quite quickly but halfway through our friendship, he just started to become annoying. Ever since I said corny jokes are pretty funny, he's been constantly telling me them 24/7. Our conversations started to get incredibly boring since he would try to talk to me everyday but literally all he would talk about was school and how lucky he is for some reason. Every time I would try to change the topic into something interesting, he would swerve it back to school. Not to mention, he's really awkward and slightly creepy. Whenever we would hang out, he would just look at me. He's far from outgoing. He asked me to be his date to his prom and I just went because I felt bad for him but deep down I really wanted to say no but I couldn't. I stopped opening his messages a few months ago but he's been pushing me to tell me why I stopped talking to him. Should I tell him or not? And if so, how? Or just what should I do? I know I sound mean but I just couldn't handle it anymore. He was starting to make me feel kind of uncomfortable. |

That means that I need more personal time to recharge more than most people, but when I am with people I am just fine. However, when I'm trying to talk to new people, I simply have nothing to say to them. I want so badly to meet new girls, but it's so hard when you have nothing to say to them. I can't think of anything to ask them either... "hey, some weather huh...?" wow so interesting I'm sure the relationship will just blossom from there. Today in english I spoke to this one girl who's pretty cute. I asked her name and gave her mine. She said "nice to meet you". After that I just made a comment on the teacher and then turned around with nothing else to say. God, is that really the best I can think of...? I get jealous whenever I see a guy and a girl just talking. All I can think of is "damn, how can they be talking for so long and seem so into it, I couldn't do that in 1,000 years". I think after some deep soul searching I've come to the conclusion that I just don't care much about other people, that that is the underlying problem. I just might be self centered and not realize it. Maybe I'm not asking better questions because I don't care what the answer would be. How do I care more? It all comes down to me wanted more relationships with people, girls especially. I fail at such a basic part of relationships, which causes me to be more lonely and bitter towards people who can talk so freely and happily. |

Also im a very practical person by nature and I overthink a lot and idk how to put an end to that. People at times mistake my silence to be some sorta attitude or me being boring however thats not the case. Also there s been one thing thats really disturbing rather annoying..my best friend seems to get all the attention from all the friends I have just coz shes funny to some extent.My point is just that even after me being a fun person and looking good people just dont seem to interact with me as they do with her.. like a few friends of mine text her and not me and ask her to chill..its not that they dislike me for sure but idk how to get them to talk to me as they do to her..also shes a more happy go lucky person whereas me im more on the introvert and serious side at the beginning...im starting to feel really insecure about this and ik it aint right on my part but i cant just seem to help this..I dont really wanna be termed as her shadow or something! I feel like if I go home today i'll be in deep ****. My friend offered I could stay at his house for a couple days until things cool down but like I don't have any extra clothes, money, or anything on me really.
