I think its because of this girl that I met a year ago. Even though we never actually got to date I really really like her cause we had a lot in common. Honestly I can't forget her, but her step dad said I was too old for her (two years apart). She was 15 and I was 17. I tried to move past by meeting other girls but I can't forget about her and thats why I think the other ones didnt work out. How will I ever make it work if I can't get over the original girl? |

I m going to college in a few months, and to help me adjust, my friend introduced me to a group on Groupme (gotta love that app) of people in my area (Los Angeles) that are going to the same school as me. We got a friend group together of boys and girls and we ve been going out every weekend and hanging out. One of the people in this group was this tomboy that I really like spending time with. She likes games, she s into cosplay, and she doesn t mind getting down and dirty sometimes. In fact, we ve got a smaller sub group going on with me, her, and this other guy where we just hang out and play games every so often. Unfortunately, I think i ve started to develop a crush on her. This would be fine, however, i don t want to have a crush on her. I don t want to subconsciously try and get her to notice me more because I m afraid it will screw up the group dynamic we all have, and I m going to see these people for the next 4 years and don t want to make things weird. Is there anything I can do to dissuade these feelings? I really need an outside opinion on this. (I should also mention that all the people in this group (me included) are going to a film school, but all as different majors. I feel like he started treating me more as a roommate rather than a gf. and now that school's over, it's been two weeks and he's been dry to me over text (when we did text, which was like twice), been a bit distant, bailed on me two times when I asked him to go out. he's been hanging out with his friends which i understand but when i finally talked to him about it last night, he said that he wasn't "trying" to be dry. i feel like maybe we need some space sometimes but it seems to be harder for me than it is for him to go from seeing each other everyday to like once every two weeks. Should I still text him everyday? every other day? how often should we text or see each other? What if i start the conversation a lot more than he does and it's like i'm the only one trying? Posted: 09 May 2015 06:58 PM PDT My boyfriend and I have been together for over 3 years now.I put my social life outside of him was nonexistent for a long time because i was in that head over heels phase.Ive been in college for 2 years and have met some other girls and im trying to make time for old friends also.I love meeting new cool people and sometimes i'll meet a nice guy,but my boyfriend doesnt like it.He lives in another state so i get really bored sometimes and i feel like i just want to have fun and talk to whoever i want because im young.He's in a female dominated major so he has some female friends.He also hasnt even told anyone at his school about me because he doesnt want them to treat him differently.I say well if you have girl friends i should be allowed to have guy friends but his excuse is that "guys cant be trusted,they're different from girls" I just want to have fun and not worry about the gender of my friends.What do you guys think? |
