We attended his nieces' birthday party. My 3 year old daughter was severely mistreated and alienated by her cousin and the other kids at the party. We expressed with no attack that we did not appreciate what took place. His sister started attacking my daughter calling her "out of control and crazy", my parenting skills, holding things against her like her first Christmas there when she was 2, and opened up a Christmas present that did not belong to her. (What two year old would know, other than it's a present, it's Christmas and there's something inside). She is not biologically my husbands but he raised her and considers her, his 100%. His mother told me that I "messed with the hornets nest", insulted me and again my daughter as well. Said she had problems with me but didn't find it a big enough deal to bring up. (Two faced for idk how long.) My husband and I have a second daughter together however will not tolerate my oldest being treated any differently. We were supposed to move in with her before the move yet our plans clearly changed, we are moving a lot sooner now with a lot less money to support us through the move and life out there before finding work. She sent a Mother's Day card, saying "enjoy YOUR day" with a gift card. Which I don't even know how to respond as no apology has been made. Opinions? |

We have been through a lot together he's a veteran with severe PTSD I have supported him 100% amongst raising our children together. We were never married was engaged but things went downhill we starting fighting a lot more and called it off. We still stayed together tho things took a turn he started treating my like **** at times but he also was a great dad and I loved him so I looked past it. After 5 years we got into an argument and he called it quits. He said he needed a break from me bc he feels like he's falling out of love or me but he wanted to try and work things out in the future after we work on ourselves. We'll after 2 months of our breaks up I moved out into my own place. I found out he had already had a girl over and took her to lunch, I know we're broke up but it's still hurts like hell after spending 5 gets loving someone the thought of him with someone else kills me. I confronted him about it and he said she's just his fried she was there with her son to play with the kids. We'll he told me he wasn't in love with me anymore and that I was a lazy *** and that I needed to find a way to pay my bills. Bc he was paying them since I had to move I have to find a new job. Posted: 09 May 2015 12:20 PM PDT Over a year ago one day I noticed that there is a (red) folgers coffee ground container outside on the ground outside of my bedroom window under the tree. (The people that lived here before us planted bushes by each bedroom window but they're more like small trees) I was going to remove it but then I wondered how long it could possibly have been there before I looked outside. (I barely ever look outside my window because my tree covers any view really) I just never removed it. I look out my window now at least every other day because I open my window frequently. I noticed today that it was gone and my heart dropped. I went searching for it even through the trash a little bit. Then I went to my mom and asked her and she didn't know but together we found the container right by the garage. So somebody moved it. I placed it back because I look forward to seeing it there. I know it's contributing to "pollution" but it's like a lawn ornament to me.I'll take it with me if I move. I've seen it through all seasons. Through the thick snow, through the fall, through the rain, and through the summer. It's stuck with me for a long time and is more dependable than a lot of people in my life honestly. |

I'm the one that found him dead. He was dark blue. Me and him were very close because my sisters like my mom more. That has caused me a great deal of depression. About a year and 2 days later I lost my really really good friend from suicide. It hurt because I told him I could help him. And he never came to me for help. It's about 1 month and a half since I lost him. And I can't stop thinking about suicide. I even made a box of tuhings I would need. I wrote notes to all my friends. I'm pretty set on it. My mom and grandma are in a custody battle. And I'm always caught in between their drama. And they say terrible things about eachother on each side. I really don't know what to do. I went to my first stake dance about a month ago. And I danced with the guy I really like. No one makes me feel like he does. We are both lds. So I really like him. And I stopped the thoughts for a while. But they keep coming back and I keep getting closer and closer to actually commuting suicide. I hate my family situation. And they all hate me. My "friends" hate me too. But the only one that doesn't is the boy that makes me feel loved. But everyone is always mad at me. I'm even on the suicide prevention team at school. And I don't want to do it because it would make me seem weak. And I don't want other people to do it. I'm in a lot of pain and I don't know where to go for help...:( |

But when I went to clock out, a woman I've never met (who doesn't know me) saw me coming out of the locker room to clock out, and she accused me of sitting in there the whole time, said I was stealing from the company by clocking out for time I didn't work, and that she wanted to report me. (By the way, she doesn't know my name or anything, and we work in an area with hundreds of employees). I don't know what I'm going to do if she reports me, because I don't feel like I did anything wrong. I understand why she thinks I did, but I really don't want to get in trouble for something I didn't do. Should I bring this up to someone before she does? Now, I'm not the type of person who's gonna sit back and let you disrespect me and degrade me I definitely fight back and stand up for myself and for what I know is right. But after a period of time it starts to take a toll on you and I'm starting to get stressed out and worn out. We have 3 weeks left and I don't know if I'm going to make it through the 2nd week without getting in a fight. |

| Question: Congratulating an ex? Posted: 08 May 2015 08:23 PM PDT So long story short I started dating this girl senior year of high school. We were together four and a half years. She dumped me the start of the summer going into senior year of college. It didn't necessarily end awful, but it didn't end great. It was a clean break though almost no contact from either parties except she texted/ called me for a dumb reason like 6 months after the breakup( which I didn't respond to the text or answer the calls and I'm like 99% sure she was drunk it was like 1:30am). Now the question is she just graduated college, like I said basically 0 contact from either parties and its been a little over a year since the breakup/ real contact. Do I send a short and sweet e-mail saying congrats, or let this go forever? Thanks a lot, A wondering mind |

We exchanged numbers and today I actually went to see him because he asked me to we talked a while in the parking lot and he asked me to come in his house I did we went in the room he had the lights off but TV playing I sat on the bed and he laid down but the whole time we were just catching up I asked for the time and told him I was going home he walked me to my car and told me to keep in contact........ Awkward and now he just text to ask if I made it home |
| Question: PROM HELP?! LEAVING? Posted: 08 May 2015 08:18 PM PDT Okay so it's not that big of a deal, but i need to know what time I should leave for prom. It starts at 7 (I want to be there when it starts because you get free pics and stuff), and I have to take pics before prom and thats 10 min away from the prom. My house is 20 min away from where i am taking pics without traffic. What time should I leave for pics? |
| Question: How does a hookup work? Posted: 08 May 2015 08:09 PM PDT I'm a gay man who has had absolutely zero sexual experiences. I'm a sophomore in college and have been chatting with this guy recently (only over text) who wants to hookup next week. We both go to the same college and met online, however we've never actually met in person. This is where my problem comes in. I'm kind of a little bit socially awkward...especially when it comes to sexual stuff. I'm definitely attracted to this guy and want to do this, but I'm just not sure what to expect. The tiniest things scare me like how awkward it's going to be when I go to meet him at the front of my building and when we're taking the elevator up to my room. I also feel like I don't know what I'm doing...for example, do I leave the lights on? Turn them off? I just feel like it's going to be kind of awkward, and I don't tend to do well in these types of situations. Lastly, I'm pretty sure it's just going to be oral stuff...but I'm not too familiar with how to do that as well. I'm sorry this is so long...obviously I'm very nervous. I'd love for this to go well as I really like this guy...any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. |

| Question: Should I tell her how I feel? Posted: 08 May 2015 07:35 PM PDT Ok, to start... We are both 17 (She turned 17 in March, I turn 18 in August) and work at the same place. We started working at the same time about a month ago, I always thought she was cute and nice. I didn't think she "liked" me, but turns out... she reaaally likes me, and we're always flirting. Last week, my friends finally convinced me to go talk to her privately, well the hard-****-no-emotion-showing person I am while at work didn't do a very good talking job, lol. I really like her too, but since I have no car and no cell phone, I didn't really want to get into something serious. But it seems like she really wants to go out sometime. In-fact, she even asked me out (hey, we should do something on the weekend). I don't think she meant THIS weekend, but I didn't say anything back (I didn't decline, but didn't accept). We work again tomorrow, but I am most skeptical about the one thing she said in our "private talk". She said she was going to be moving to (or back to) Florida after she graduates High-School, in about 1 year. I didn't hear much of the reason why, because I think my heart sank; knowing that I'm gonna invest in a relationship for a year, then lose it because (only reason I remember) of the beaches. I don't know if it was one of those "I'm turning 18 soon, so I want to live free" or something. With me being home-schooled since I was 10, I have never actually "loved" anyone. So my main question is, should I tell her how I really feel. Ran out of characters to type, lol. Should I really tell her how I feel, or talk to her more about her moving to Florida? I'll be posting this a few times on a few different boards for different answer. Sorry for the spam :) Thank you! |

I REAAALLLY want to get out of my comfort zone because I want to stop being afraid of what people will think of me. I want to be myself and show my real personality. I do at home but at other places I'm shy, afraid to be myself, and never know what to say. I've gotten a lot better at not worrying as much about what people think, and I'm not like silent all the time, I do talk but I definitely wouldn't be classified as outgoing. I don't know where to start with being outgoing. People already see me as the shy girl so I don't know how to just suddenly be an outgoing girl. |

He is just very nice to me, and thoughtful too. the last get-together he knew that I really wanted to go with and i wanted to see his dog. but at the last minute i couldn't go. so the next day i got a message from him saying i didn't miss out because he didn't bring his dog what do you think of that? we're at least friends for sure right? |
| Posted: 08 May 2015 05:03 PM PDT I just found out that my boyfriend chooses his ex wifes mother as a mentor in his life. He seeks her advice often . I actually find this to be quite annoying. I try to ignore it and put it past me until today. He told me today during his lunch he was texting back and forth one of his mentors. Out of curiousity I asked him who are his mentors and he said he had two mentors. One was some guy that owns his own buisness and the other was his ex's mother who got her masters in math. |
