Posted: 09 May 2015 01:16 PM PDT Ok for the last 5 months my girlfriends 31 year old brother Jeremy, has been occupying our guest room. I was against him stepping foot in our house, never mind moving in.He's been the rudest most obnoxious person i have ever known in my entire life. He is a complete and utter slob. Every damn day i come home to find the house trashed. As hes too lazy to get off his butt and clean up after himself, as he complains loudly every time he's asked to be an adult and clean up after himself. He also spends no effort looking for a job, and an apartment, I know this because he sleeps everyday until 3pm, and stays up all night playing his Xbox. Also he couldn't even hold down a job considering of how lazy he is. He talks to me very rudely and impolite. He thinks everyone should bow down to him and kiss his feet. I am sick of having to work 11 hours a day, and have to come home and listen to his attitude. He's also under the impression that the house is his. He thinks i have no right going in "his" room. He also pays no rent, doesn't help with anything around the house, he never helps vacuum, or clean the pool or anything. He's a lazy slop with the maturity level of a 12 year old. My girlfriend however will not let me kick him out however. She says he has nowhere to go and he'd be living on the streets if we kick him out. I really could care less honestly what happens to him, I just want him out of my house. Can i kick him out as my name is on the house |

I LOVE SHOPPING and perfume ad all that girly stuff i dont dress like a guys either i usually wear just jeans/leggings witha shirt sometimes the shirt is plain and sometimes its girly. My point is is it weird that i am so into call of duty rc toys and water guns etc?? Also is it weird i play with my younger brothers? I have water gun fights with them there 6 and one is 7 and one is 8. Sometimes they piss me off and i yell at them but simetimes i actually get along with them and play with them on the trampoine outside watch movies have water gun fights. Am i weird? But they pay the payments My dad also works for my grandma boyfriend. Because he got a loan for them she seems to think that gives her all rights to ALL of my dads money. He makes around $27k a years before taxes after taxes around 20k houses bills(including insurance,the house payment utilities ect. Come to around $1000 a month..my dad gets NONE of the money he works for..anytime he asks for money she says he's broke....there's around $8000 a year she can't account for? I also offered to have the house put in my name and her answer? She's not letting the house go until it's paid off? I personally think she's on a power trip! If she would just put the home in my name then she wouldn't have to worry about if they're making the payment there for she would have no "right" to hold all of my dads money! Even on top of all of his money she's hoarding she even wants my mom to hand over her paycheck? I know 20k a year isn't a fabulous amount of money buts its definitely enough to pay their bills! I'm 12 years old and some people will think that I'm just saying it because I'm a "spoiled lazy brat" She is the reason why I used to self harm but thankfully I stopped but I just don't know what to do anymore it seems as if she killed me not physically but emotionally.A day that passes by for me is just whatever now. Teachers always tell me "Your not the smiling girl I used to know." I was talking with my mom the other day and she asked if I wanted to move to Arizona where my father lives and I asked why she would say that, offended. She said she just doesn t think I m happy here. While I was offended, I ve been thinking about it a lot. I really am not happy here. However, I don t think my unhappiness is due to where I m at geographically. It s mostly because I don t have a diploma, I don t drive (I m 19!! It s time!) and I work very irregularly for my step-dad s business. I m not being trained in, so there s not much for me to do. Along with irregularly working, I have zero motivation (that s not an exaggeration. Why do you think I have no diploma?) and I think that may be a factor of depression. I don t want to die, but there s nothing for me where I m at right now. Thinking about moving gives me anxiety. I have a twin here, pets, and even though I fight with my mom sometimes, we re pretty close. My dad, who lives in AZ, travels a LOT, so I d basically be living with my step mom and their two young boys. Until I found another place to live. That is, if I can get my head right and be motivated to make money to get my own place. I have anxiety about the whole idea, but I just don t know if it s good for me to stay if I m miserable. Maybe I d do better elsewhere? I don t know... What should I do? |

She'll get extremely mad if I go downstairs before the next morning, even if I just want a glass of water. I'm 16 if that makes any difference. My dad thinks it isn't a big deal but I'm getting tired of this because it happens at least once every two weeks... |
| Question: How does growing up with no rules affect children? Posted: 09 May 2015 12:20 PM PDT I'll try to make this short. I grew up with my single mother and sister. My sister was the one who was academically advanced one and my mom's favorite. I did well in school also but not as great as she did. From 10-18 years old my mother never gave me a curfew and I would not be home for plenty of days and she never called or reached out to any of my friends to ask where I was. I did things a regular teen girl did, nothing too rebellious. We hung out at theme parks, malls, beaches - I didn't drink excessively, have boyfriends, smoke weed or any of that. I just remember that all of my friends had curfews and their parents would call them to check up on them when we would go out and I was extremely jealous of that. I just remember growing up too independent and getting used to never asking my mom for help because I already knew the answer. Even when it came to school projects or coming to my dance shows, she never supported them. I left for college at 18 and now at 22 still have a year left of college and work part-time at a boutique. I live with my boyfriend who is amazing. Being able to do anything I wanted at an early age and feeling "unloved," I never felt like I needed a man or anyone because I felt like happy endings don't exist and that I was in this alone. That was a jaded mentality of mine but I've slowly changed that. I know that I need to make more changes so that I can be a better person, friend, girlfriend, employee, and not continue the cycle. |

Posted: 09 May 2015 12:07 PM PDT I had my AP tests this week!! :O and ive been sort of agitated :/ and my dad is so rude and literally hit my dog since he was stressed with my mom.. so i was mad and kept on snapping at him. if i speak to someone, he comes in between and he's nosy. I told him to stop being nosy and I'm being super disrespectful by saying so. i snapped at him and now my mom's like you can't go to this party. I honestly just wanted to get out with my friends and blow off some steam from the APs before finals week. But she.. i woke up and made her breakfast and she's like we gotta talk and you can't go. i do feel bad about snapping but my dad is very nosy and rude. and I'm not lying about that. If i play it off and be like ohh i was so excited for this and my friends are texting em about meeting up.. do you think she will soften up and be like hey you could still go. |

So my sister is 9 years old and she was playing outside (I was watching her) with her ball. The kid came outside and ran towards my sister, snatched the ball, and threw it over the fence (we live in an apartment). I said, "What the heck is wrong with you?!" I told him to go grab the ball but he said, "No. That's not mine." I glared at him and asked our neighbor to throw it back to us. My sister told him to back off before she went to go tell his mom but he just stuck his tongue out at us and went back into his house. The other day I was in my room when he threw the ball at my window. Luckily, the window was open so he threw it inside my room. I picked it up and threw it out the window. I told him, "Do that again, brat!" And left. Not only does he do crazy things like that every day but when my parents have a barbecue, he uninvited, runs towards the food and eats, his parents not even watching. He once stole my sister's slice of pizza, cut a piece of cake and went back into his house, and once ran into my two year old cousin and made her cry just to steal this toy she had. He should know better. So what should I say or do to make him mad and not come back? Don't say to tell his parents because they don't listen. I want to teach that kid a lesson. Plz answer. My Parents are having another barbecue next Saturday and I know the kid is coming. I'm 13 |

The next day no-one saw me but I get the feeling I still have to tell my mom I slept naked. Posted: 09 May 2015 10:58 AM PDT I'm 14 years old and they always pester me about "working hard" and "not letting friends and social life getting in the way of work". They ruin my social life, they always think they're right, and whenever they DON'T see me studying or playing my Piano, they always turn that into a pep talk about going to college and being successful. My dad, whenever he sees me either playing video games, watching TV, on the internet, or hanging out with a friend/group, he always criticizes me about $hit like academics. It pisses me off really much. Today, he saw me watching TV for breakfast and I was just minding my own business, until he asked me why I'm watching TV and turned it into a conversation about how I'll never graduate high school and will get all F's if I watch TV. My grades right now in my 6 classes are currently A, C, B, A, A, C. That's a 3.2 GPA! My mom always compares me to my Church friends and says how I never work, even though I always work my @ss off when it comes to Piano and Academics. And just because they can't see it, they don't believe it. They're the reason I want to commit suicide, they're the reason my friends always pity me, they are the reason my life is all work and no fun, and they're the reason I cry like 7 times a week. So my predicament, My step mother wants to use some of my tickets on her family and I want to give my last 2 to my girlfriend and her mother. They are my tickets, and I am literally moving in with my girlfriend the day after, back to South Carolina. I truly love them both, but my experiences with them are very different. With my dad he focuses more On academics, technology, and things like that. My mom however likes to go out and do things and be social. I will admit I have a lot of problems, like anxiety, social anxiety, and a few phobias and very low self-esteem. (there is more but they aren't really relevant) So I hope you can guess which one I have a harder time spending time with. I might also Add I live with my dad, but don't think my dad has shaped my personality, I've always been like this. The only activity I love doing outside is Fishing, and swimming in a private pool. I fish with my dad occasionly, because he knows secluded areas and its always fun. So this really boils down to what should I do so I can enjoy the time with my mom better? |

Basically he just flips at the smallest things, for example i fell asleep on the sofa the other day whilst doing work and he came over and shook me and screamed in my face saying I was a brain dead fuc* and that he wants me to fail in life. He has severe anger control issues and we live in a constantly unclean living environment. None of us want to live here anymore. I have a family that I am very close with and I intend to live with them asap, my sister has friends but none of whom she could live with, and my brother isn't very close with any friends. We have a lot of family in another state but we're not close with any of them. So basically I'm wondering what the state would do if we called DSS. Staying together isn't a must but we don't want to go into the foster system. Would they allow me to live with the family I'm very close with? And what would happen to my siblings? I am going to ship my truck because I don't want it damaged or have my warrenty extended. My truck was very expensive it was a program vechical where someone only had it for 10,000 miles .I would be more then willing to do it but I want a plane ticket for my new girlfriend in return or new off road tires sense my tires are almost to the point of needing to be changed. I am paying gas auto loan insurance on my truck it's my truck and my name on the loan and title. I have to at all costs protect my investment in my truck sense it was so expensive. This truck was upwards of about 40,000 bucks I pay for everything on it so I call the shots it would be cheaper for them to buy my new gf a plane ticket or the tires I wanr because the move distance will destroy my current tires. I don't fall for guilt trips I have a strong psyche and they can't rattle it by yelling and screaming I have givin them options. Hidden tests and projects and papers to write and it's a lot. When my mom found out (she works full time) she jumped right in to help me when she got home from work. We would spend weekends and evenings sitting at the kitchen table working. We'd have issues here and there but something serious happened. We moved into a new house. I loved it. But the thought of the school traumatized me. I couldn't look at a computer. So I didn't log in. For eight days. I would sit by the window crying. I was ALMOST truant. My mom was livid, as I knew she would be. But a month later she seemed to forgive me. She hugged me and gave my sims game back. But now my anxiety has skyrocketed. I'll stay up playing video games to escape from the pain, but the second I shut off my computer, I begin to sob. I tell myself I'm a horrible person and she doesn't need me and I don't deserve to be here. I'll cry until I fall asleep. She doesn't hug me anymore. She doesn't kiss me anymore. She never smiles at me even though I thought we were fine. I apologized. We are the only two living at home. My sister is a full time college student and my father works in her college town so we see them once or twice a month. I sit alone worrying and crying because I made the biggest mistake of my life. Most of the time, it s just my mom and I alone, so I only really have her to talk to. However, whenever I talk to her, it s like I m not there. I can talk for ages without a response, unless it s just "Shut up, I m reading/writing a message." Even when our dad is present, it s still like I m invisible and she ll constantly interrupt me whenever I try to talk to my dad. I just don t get why she s like this- it s always been like this. The only times she talks to me is either when I m being lectured or if she feels like randomly stating something about her hobby. My dad is kinda the same- but he does respond to me at times, although he tends to baby-talk me constantly and treats me like I m retarded. I don t get it. Whenever I try to talk to them about it, I always get the "at least you have it better than ___" or "You have no reason to feel sad, you re just ungrateful for all the love and care we show you." I just hate it- no matter what I say it s always brushed off as if I m either non-existent or stupid. My mom wants me to my grandmothers, stay their till 9, and then get picked up by my friend and sleep at his house. Honestly, that's stupid. I can handle myself, I never leave the house a lot anyway, and I know exactly what to do in case of a fire or breakin. Why won't she let me stay home? I'll still be awake when they get home anyway. I resented her for years cause she lied to my mom and I had to pay 600 dollars out of my college fund to pay her to buy a new phone and later on I didn't have enough money to go to my dream college because of that 600 dollars that was taken out and I couldn't get a loan cause of some thing with the bank. I never forgivin her and I never will because of her I had to go to a different college, give her 600 dollars and get yelled at beat and grounded by my mom all because I told her what I saw. **** you grandma I hope God sees what you have done. |
