Question: My brothers wife is mad she isn't one of my bridesmaids? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 10:14 PM PDT I've known her for about 8 years now & was a bridesmaid at her wedding last summer. We were never close & honestly I have never been a fan. I see her 2-3 times a year and that's it. Well, my brother called me the other day to warn me how upset his wife is that she is not a bridesmaid since she is technically my "sister in law".. Did I do something wrong here? My brother is not mad btw. I'm having a small wedding party, 1 MOH & 2 bridesmaids |
Question: My fiance got mas and left home, because him and my son had a disagreement? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 09:52 PM PDT My fiancé and my son had a disagreement over food and he got mad and left. He further said to me that he did not want to have a wedding, he just wanted a reception and left. He would not talk to me or anything. |
Question: Wedding Advice - Ushers and Personal Attendants? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 09:11 PM PDT Should personal attendants and ushers walk down the aisle together before the bridesmaids/groomsmen walk down?Like walk down and sit up at the front row. This way so they feel like they are included in the wedding? We have limited number of bridesmaids and groomsmen so I cannot add any more bridesmaids. So I've been thinking of how to make personal attendants feel more included in the wedding? Walk down or no? |
Question: Is it too soon to bring my BF to a family get together? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 09:08 PM PDT My family (aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, parents) always get together for Easter & they told me to bring my boyfriend to the party so they can meet him. My parents & brother already met him, but we have only been together 3 months.. Is it too soon? We do really care about each other & he said he will if I want him to |
Question: AM I the only one who dislikes the idea of a wedding? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 06:45 PM PDT I would get married if I found the right person, but the idea of a big wedding is really unappealing to me. I don't like spending a lot of money especially on something like this. What are your thoughts? |
Posted: 29 Mar 2015 04:43 PM PDT I'd like to do a brunch for a wedding reception. Are there any catering companies in Orlando, Fl that will do a waffle or crepe bar? The kind where it is cooked right in front of the guest? |
Question: What do we have to do to elope at the courthouse? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 04:20 PM PDT My boyfriend and I want to get married, but right now we just want to elope and have the wedding much later. We both live in the state of Georgia. What all do we need to do that and what do we have to do? |
Question: Weddings that took place by justice of the peace marion county indianapolis? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 03:31 PM PDT I was wanting if Ivan Alacula got married on one of these three days March 16 17 18 |
Question: Do I need to go to my cousins wedding under these circumstances? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 02:10 PM PDT My Dad's sisters son is getting married next month. I havent spoken to him since 2013. I am a student. In order for me to attend his wedding, I would have to take a 14 hour bus trip to his venue on a Friday and then take another 14 hour bus trip back to Uni on the Sunday. I do not want to attend as the trip will be stressful, however my family members are indicating that I should attend. What should I do? |
Question: How much should I sell my hand made wedding dress and veil for? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 01:34 PM PDT I haven't had it cleaned or preserved yet, but I got married about four years ago and now I'm thinking of selling it. It's a two piece ivory dress with a brocade corset like top and a chiffon covered skirt, including a train with lace and pearl bead applique at the bottom. I'm not sure where to sell it, or for how much. I'm hoping that the dress can still be cleaned and I really regret not doing that immediately. The thing is, the dress isn't something that I bought. It was actually made from a sewing pattern and I bought the fabric, so it's hard to put a price on something like that. Maybe I should start a bid on ebay that's pretty low? The dress is about a petite size 4, so I'm really hoping that someone out there could use it since petite clothing seems like something that's hard to find. |
Question: What's a good thing to write on a drinking glass for a 6 year old bridesmaid? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 01:28 PM PDT We want to give our little bridesmaids (6 years old, 6 years old and 8 years old) high ball glasses with their name and their role written on them. The one on the website says "Little Bridesmaid" but we think that will be a bit infra dig for them. Just "Bridesmaid" sounds a bit short. "Ace Bridesmaid" might have been good in the 80's but now? "Brilliant Bridesmaid" maybe a bit too dull. Does anyone have any better ideas? |
Posted: 29 Mar 2015 12:59 PM PDT The language used on the marriage certificate is a little complicated. |
Question: So I m getting married and need a lot of help.? Question: Where did you meet your significant other? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 10:05 AM PDT & how old were you? |
Question: Best online dating websites? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 08:24 AM PDT I am 23 & I didn't meet anyone at school or work so I'm looking for someone who wants a future with me, not a hookup. |
Question: I'm looking for a certain type of marriage/ceremony? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 07:37 AM PDT Is there a type of ceremony that bonds two people, but is not sexual in any way? for instance, between two friends, siblings, or soul mates? In traditional marriage, it is where two people love each other in a boy/girlfriend type of relationship where they can consent sex if they want to correct? I'm looking for a ceremony that bonds two people, but has moral boundaries. If two siblings were to have a regular marriage, it would account as incest, right? This is not for myself, but for a story that I am writing. Blood bonding seems interesting. It does not have to compile to american laws. Something non-religious would be grand. |
Question: I'm planning a wedding in a Florida state park.? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 05:32 AM PDT I'm coming down from MN and never actually seen the beach I'm having it at or the pavilion I'll be using for my reception. Is this a bad idea? Also, has anyone ever had or attended a wedding in a state park? |
Question: Stepmother trying to be equal to my mom in my wedding? Posted: 29 Mar 2015 02:29 AM PDT My parents broke up when I was very young. My granddad (dads dad) stepped in and took us both in after my dad left and refused to pay child support or even to see me. There was a lot of drama because he said he felt betrayed by his dad. Anyway, when I was 12/13 my mom got married to my stepdad. My granddad was still a huge part of my life and continued to support me. And then my dad came back when I was 15 with a wife and her two kids (not his). Things are still rough between us, even after 8 years of having him back in my life. So my stepmother called me out of the blue after receiving the wedding invitation and tore into me for not including hers or my fathers names on it. She also complained because my dad finally told her that he wasn't going to be walking me down the aisle, my granddad was. And then she complained that her kids weren't invited (it's a kid-free wedding). I told her that it was none of her business and that she had to butt out and I hung up the phone. Since then, she's been calling to my house and demanding to be as involved in everything as my mom and even wants to be honored during the wedding. I'm constantly having to drop conversations because of this woman. She just won't leave it alone. It's driving me crazy! I don't even have to mention it for her to and she brings it up ten more times after in the conversation and I end up walking away (sometimes she follows). She's even had her kids ask why they can't come/be involved. HELP!!! |
