Posted: 19 Mar 2015 08:45 PM PDT My formal dance for my sorority is coming up (the second weekend of april). I have three potential guys who I am considering asking however I feel I don't know any of them really well. They are all in the same fraternity, which our sorority knows pretty well. The first guy, Kurt, I know really really likes me. I think he's attractive but I don't like him as much as he likes me. I've talked to him the most out of all three and without a doubt he'd say yes. I just don't want him to get the wrong idea about how I feel about him. The second guy, Scott, I like a lot but I'm not sure if he feels the same. We talked a ton and made out a lot drunk over spring break one of the days but that obviously means nothing since we were very intoxicated... The third guy, Bobby, is very sweet and funny. I have barely talked to him though. I feel all of them would more than likely say yes but I just don't want the dance to be awkward. Who do you think I should ask and why?? Also how do you think I should them because I don't know the next time I will see them? Thanks so much!!! (: |
Question: My boyfriend of two years just got married to me and he gave me this...? Posted: 19 Mar 2015 07:26 PM PDT My boyfriend of two years just got married to me. He told me that I mean the world to him and that he never wanted me to forgot that . Unbeynost to me he started a diary about 5 years ago before he sent me of what marriage maent to me, love poems, how important it was that he always be a good husband and faithful to me, things he wanted to see with me places he wanted to go. I was shocked that he put so much thought into it. I guess I just wanted some fellow female opinion on how you would feel? |

Question: Is it alright to ask what the dress code is? Posted: 19 Mar 2015 04:40 PM PDT My cousin is getting married in June and has not sent out the invites yet (just save the date cards), so I do not know what time of day the wedding is, and therefore do not know what type of dresss to wear. It's still 3 months away, but I'm in college and without a car, so my opportunities to get to the mall are few and far between, but an aunt offered to take me within the next few weeks. Is it appropriate to call my cousin and ask what the dress code/time of wedding is, so I know what type of dress to buy? I don't currently own anything that would be acceptable to wear to any type of wedding. Thanks! |
Question: What app can I use to plan my wedding? (I would like to save & upload pics/info)? Posted: 19 Mar 2015 03:02 PM PDT So I've looked all over the App Store. I'm trying to look for an app that can help me plan my wedding but I need the app to have features where I can upload any pictures, info, etc.. If anyone can help that would be great! |

Question: How do I steal the bride? Posted: 19 Mar 2015 01:54 PM PDT Scenario: My ex girlfriend is getting married. I realize I still love her. I don't want to lose her. I have a plan that during her wedding ceremony. I'm going to create the exact scenario on the movie the graduate. When the priest would ask if there is anyone who does not like this couple to be join In marriage..I would stand up , yell I OBJECT and steal her away from him. Do you think this idea is romantic or dumb? I know they only do this things in the movie but do you think this a great idea,,, Or should I just grovel to her in private ..she will not answer my text message.. by JC smith • Just now Category |

Question: How can I be more comfortable with my bridal shower/wedding? Posted: 19 Mar 2015 10:16 AM PDT I'm not one who likes to be the center of attention and I'm really uncomfortable with other people spending money on me or being inconvenienced by having to travel for me. If it were up to me, I would be having a courthouse wedding with a small dinner with close family and friends, no shower or anything and my fiance seems to be in the same boat. That being said, my family and my fiance's family made it fairly clear that they would prefer that we have a traditional wedding with a big reception and all the bells and whistles and very kindly offered to finance it. I have just been informed that I am having a shower in April (I live far away from most of my family so they needed to make sure I would be in town). Is there any way that I can be made more comfortable with all of this? I am very grateful for all of it but I really don't want all of the hullabaloo for lack of a better word. There were many tearful phone calls with multiple members of both of our families where I made it clear that I didn't want the whole big thing and I was basically told that our extended family (aunts, uncles etc) expected a traditional big wedding and they would be very disappointed if we didn't do that and I was sent stories of people who regretted not having the big ceremony/reception etc so while there was sort of a choice, there really wasn't. |

Question: Am I crazy for being kind of upset about my friend's wedding? Posted: 19 Mar 2015 08:05 AM PDT My fiance and I will be a week short of 2 years engaged when we get married in June. We took a month or so after getting engaged to begin actually planning and when we talked to close family and realized that there was a period of about 5 weeks from the end of may through the end of June that everyone would be around and didn't want to have to plan a whole wedding in under a year so we opted for waiting an additional year since we're not in a rush to get married. In october of 2013, I told my good friend that I was looking at late may/early june 2015, particularly memorial day weekend so to not make any big plans for those few weeks and that we had a few places lined up to view in January of 2014 when they released their bookings for 2015 weddings. She got engaged herself in early december of 2013 and said she was planning for a labor day weekend 2015 wedding. Her and her fiance jumped right into planning and looked at a few places between christmas and new years and booked one of them before my fiance and I were able to book our own wedding and despite her saying that she wanted labor day, they booked memorial day weekend. We ended up booking our own wedding for 2 weeks later. She then asked me to be in her wedding which I agreed to. We just got her invite and while the reception (and the save the date) are scheduled from sunday of memorial day weekend, the ceremony, which I am in, is scheduled for saturday which she never mentioned to me. So now, my memorial day weekend is friday night-rehearsal, saturday afternoon-reception, sunday night-reception. Am I crazy for being irritated that she not only stole my wedding weekend but then decided to make it impossible for me to do much else due to spreading out her wedding instead of having it all on the same day? We assume the reason behind the saturday service, sunday reception is because she's doing a church wedding which can't be held on a sunday due to mass being held and she didn't realize this until she had already rushed into booking her wedding for a sunday. My other issue is that the save the date that she sent out was for the sunday which is the reception, not for the saturday which is the service which totally changes my travel plans since I live 3.5 hours from where her wedding is being held. She tends to assume that everyone will drop what they are doing for her, her "bachelorette party" was this past weekend and involved flying to ohio (where her underage sister goes to school) for a 3 day bachelorette weekend not a single bachelorette party night. I've known her since I was 6 and she's always been this way so I guess I've just gotten used to it. We have been friends since we were kids and, when talking about planning weddings, we agreed that we didn't want to do them on the same weekend. She said she was planning on holding her wedding labor day weekend, I said that I was planning on memorial day weekend. BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO BOOK BECAUSE THE VENUE WASN'T OPEN FOR BOOKING, she booked her wedding for the one weekend of 52 that we BOTH agreed was off limits to her. |

Question: Does the father of the bride give her away in a civil ceremony at the courthouse? Posted: 19 Mar 2015 12:26 AM PDT My fiancée and I are getting married in a civil ceremony at the la courthouse in a few weeks and I'm wondering if just the two of us walk up to the front with our witnesses behind us or does my father give me away like in a traditional ceremony? Does anyone know how the procedure generally goes for courthouse ceremonies? |
Question: I don't want to have sex with my fiance anymore, help? Posted: 17 Mar 2015 04:13 PM PDT For some reason I have lost all of my sex drive lately. My fiance wants it a lot and I just never ever want to. I love him like crazy and I think he's hott, but I just don't want to have sex. We think it could be the birth control or because I am so busy with getting my degree and wedding planning and house work and so on. I just feel bad like I'm not keeping up my end. But I also feel like if I fake liking having sex that I am lying and I feel wrong about that. What to do? :( |
