Posted: 27 Mar 2015 05:09 PM PDT I'm 14 and I'm skinny and people always judge me for my body they say I'm anorexic and flat chested and I have a friend who everyone loves she's curvy and has a great body and she shows it off a lot were both freshman in high school and lately I've been getting cyberbullied about how I'm "too skinny" and have no *** or boobs or curves and how my friend is wayyyyyyy better than me. And it sucks because I always compare myself to her already she makes me feel like ****. so many guys like her and she has a new thing with a guy each week. Any advice on what I should do? |

My teacher saw this and even she said he is being mean and now I may not accept him when he comes back. I right now am not personally, but principally insulted and now will not be mean but will not value our friendship as much because he showed no value for me by leaving. What do you think? Thanks! |

I'm currently an 18 year old female in high school and I don't know how to socialize. When I was in grade school (3-5th) I had no trouble making friends and had plenty, like all little kids, but I was still shy around teachers and kids I didn't know very well. In middle school, I became popular in 6th grade and opened up some. In 7th I got really sick with a parasite, became 92 pounds when I was already 5'6, and just kind of separated myself from others because I felt terrible and nauseous all of the time. 8th grade was fine and so was 9th grade but I found myself becoming more distant with my friends. Around 10th grade, many transferred and I became sad and got anxiety back so I over exaggerated and acted depressed and mysterious because I thought that s**t was cool. 11th grade I had basically a best friend and I acted like I didn't need anybody else because nobody acted like they needed me, and lost every other friend I basically had. I was EXTREMELY shy and quiet and would only talk when talked too. I was invited places but wouldn't go bc I was stupid and insecure. Now I'm a senior and have only 3 close friends, only one my age. It sucks. I've made no real connections with anyone in HS all because of my inability to not be awkward and actually speak. I want to but I don't know how to. I can't do small talk, but I want to be a people person in college. I'm sad I had no social life in hs bc I could have had one. |

Shes' touched me, she stares at me and flirts with me. We rarely see each other so we rarely talk except for a few times but short little conversations. Im thinking about adding her on Facebook since I have not seen her in a long time. I know her on a first name business. I found her Facebook but was intending to add one of her friends and then add her. Is that a little creepy? I think just because its kind of out of the blue and she did not tell me her last name if I did just send her a direct friend request. is my main concern. I want to be at least creepy as possible. |

For example: a few weeks ago I died my hair a really bright red, and a later that day I come home and she has red highlights. In the last few months, I've gotten into the band My Chemical Romance, and a few days ago I see that she has downloaded 3 of their songs onto he I Pad (I strongly disapprove of this, since many of their songs mention things such as self harm and violence and she should not be exposed to this music at age 9) On another note, I am obsessed with converse. I own multiple pairs. She knows this, and yesterday when we were shoe shopping she asked the lady where the converse were. (thank god they didn't have any in her size) She copies everything. The shows I watch, the sports I play, the clothes I wear, and I'm f*cking sick of it. Anyways, I am sick and tired of her copying me. I want to be my own person and HAVE MY OWN PERSONALITY, but she is making that extremely difficult by copying me like this. (don't tell me that she looks up to me, please, because I've heard that a million times before) I'm not looking for advice on dealing with this, or keeping calm when she does this, because I'm happy that she looks up to me, she's just taking it way to far. I have a lot of friends that are guys and around my age. They used to constantly make dirty jokes about my sister when she wasn't around to piss me off. We are all college students, and a few months ago when winter break started, two of them decided to invite my younger sister to one of their houses when the parents were out of town, with the intention of getting drunk with her. They went out of their way to hide it from me, but failed. Once they realized I knew, my sister came home sober, and I went to the house to confront them about it. They were both drunk, and were freaking out about what I was going to do. For the sake of the friendship, I let them off with a warning. My conditions were don't ask my sister to hang out with them if I wasn't around, and don't get her involved with drinking. Spring break is starting, and the same two friends are having a party at the other ones house. They invited all my friends, but told me I am not allowed to come because I caused an incident the last time they wanted to have fun. I really didn't care (I don't drink btw), but now my sister wants to go to one of "her friends" houses, at the exact same time as the time my friends party starts, and claims she will be out a while. Both I and my parents are a little skeptical. How can I find out if she was invited to my friends ? And if she was how should I handle it with them and sister ? |

I live far away from her house and she clocks in to work at 7 and I clock in at 8 but I woke up at 6 and told her I just woke up and I'll dress fast. And all my friends go to parties all the time and drink and stuff like that. While I stay at home because I don't really want to be involved in that. So I get kind of depressed on the weekends and stuff because everyone is out having fun while I do nothing. People think that I'm just not very social because of it and it's just frustrating I guess. I really don't know what to do about it. And don't tell me to get new friends because literally everyone does it. And I'm friends with all the "cooler" people. I really like them, they like me. But that doesn't fix the problem. I don't want to drink, and everywhere they go, they do drink. I don't like being in those situations but I'm ok with it I guess, but they always pressure me into having a drink and I usually do. But I'm just afraid of getting caught, that's the only problem. I want to go out on weekends and stuff, but I don't know what to do. What should I do? How can I go more places and be more social on the weekends? Or even, how do I not get caught? |

Now let me explain, my best friend and are I close and she hasn't really been self-centered before. So everyday each other what happened at the end of the day. But for the past week, she has been telling me to hurry up with my day so she can share her story and interrupting a lot and rolling her eyes. I didn't want to say anything about her being self centered since I just lost another one of my friends since I told an adult a I trust that she cuts. But onto my current question) But we have been watching anime since Middle School and I have always been writing FanFictions about it like Fairy Tail, Naruto, Black Butler, and so on. And then my best friend who we will call Mary (I don't want to say her real name) just started writing FanFictions the same time she has been self centered. So she would call me about her story saying 'YOU NEED TO HEAR THIS!' At first it was pretty good but then she adds this character, an OC which is meant to be Mary. For Fairy Tail mostly, her OC Mary is a 1st gen dragon slayer, sister of Natsu and has everyone loving her. And evil characters even! Like Cobra acting good to date her. I just don't know what to do! She is being self centered and I don't want to hurt her feelings. Help! |

Like wtf. She says this literally every time. I haven't hung out with her in WEEKS and the only time i do is when she is having some stupid breakdown and I have to show up with ******* ice cream to make her feel better. I listen to her every problem for example her getting a B on a test. and then when I need help for ... you know.. In the beginning of this year, we were best friends and would do everything together: we shared secrets, talked about boys, everything! We were besties in 4th grade too but we reconnected this year. But she changed. She always talks about how "miserable" her life is, and she cuts, and talks about suicide. She even jokes about it with her friends, which sickens me! And I know none of her stories are true. She has a normal decent life, and is blessed with an iPhone and video game consoles. Yet she complains how overbearing her parents are and even said her mom abuses her. At first I fell for it, and I tried so hard to help her! It stressed me out so bad. But then I realized she was just manipulative, so I broke our friendship. Afterwards she spread AWFUL rumors about me, called me names, made up stories, made me seem like I was the bad guy for abandoning her. When a boy that she had a crush on gave me a rose on V-Day, she tried to fight me. I have lost friends because of her, and so many people believe her over me. I have nightmares. I've wished I could end it all. I cry a lot. I try to talk to administrators, but they don't help, even went with her and scolded me! I feel helpless. Recently, our close friend that had broken from me offered to be friends again. All 3 of us used to be a trio. Since then, we've gotten closer, and the bully has been friendly. She's with our friend all the time. Now, I guess you could say we're back together again. But I still don't trust them. I still feel awful. I'm scared. I plan on just holding out until the year is over, and avoid them in high school. I keep my mouth shut and laugh at their jokes, and hang out with them. I don't want to, but it feels better than being bullied everyday. I know nobody can help me, but it'd be nice to just have support. He asked when would I pay him back and I told him the next day. The next night he asked me and I said that I will get it later on and I called him stingy, he didn't get mad though. I went out with friends and I Didn't get the money that night because I didnt remember. i came home that night and he was awake but he didn't ask for anything. The next morning he asks for the money and I told him I forgot and I could tell he was a little pissed. He asked when I would be able to pay back and said probably later on today and left. We play, get covered head to toe and bathe in it because it's really deep. we rinse off afterwards in a river. Is there anything wrong with us doing this? I only put the divorce down for detail, I've gotten over it a long time ago and don't think about it that much any more. I used to have a bunch of friends and was pretty good with girls, but I kinda shut all of them out for a while. Whenever I try to talk to anyone, I just cant. I always just end up sitting there, not knowing what to say. Once or twice every couple weeks everything just goes away, and I'm normal and fine and can hang out with people, but the next day I'm back to this.I never hang out with people because I can't, and I find myself scrolling through my old friends profiles on instagram in envy of how I could be like them, like I was. Ive posted here before and people juat tell me "talk simple" or juat "say whats on my mind" but i just cant. Its harder than you think for me. To start this off, I'm 10, and yeah, sorry if I'm too young or something but honestly most of the time I don't feel like it. Why? Everybody I know is immature and bratty. I feel like I was seriously born in the wrong time. For example, the girls in my class always talk about how they wear mascara, eyeshadow, eyeliner & lipstick. Why are they wearing that in grade 5? They should atleast wait until grade 7 or something. I get wearing it for dance, but seriously, why?! There's one girl in my class who just bursts out singing. She's a good singer but she changes her voice so it sounds horrible. It's obvious she's showing off. She's a nice girl but I mean, come on. Everybody in my class never pays attention except for a select few. I feel so misplaced :( Even though I have 1 sincere friend and a few eh-friends, I feel as if I don't fit in. To make it worse, everybody believes in fake things (not including wolves) such as wizards/werewolves/wolves/witches/fairies etc and some even believe they are, or some believe they are half-human and half magic thing. I don't know what to do about this. I always act mature, I am responsible, but nobody else I know around my age is. I don't feel like I'm 18, but around 13 or 14. I really don't know where I am going with this, or what the question really is, but I don't know what to do when everyone my age is like this. (At least the ones I know..) Thanks! :) Oh, and pretty much half the class has girlfriends/boyfriends. Urgh.. they are too young. The way I see it, is that if they can't act mature, then they shouldn't have a boyfriend/girlfriend. Haha, I am 10, I really like to write books and read them so I've picked up a lot of knowledge on that end :) Thank you guys :) I think I skipped out on my childhood. My parents always fought when I was really young and to this day they still do. I started using computers when I was just four so I guess that also contributes a bit. |

We went on a road trip for a few days by ourselves. I thought it meant something so I told her because kind of already knew that I liked her. I had hinted it to her at time before. So I decided to tell her that I had feelings for her when we got back. She said she didn't feel the same way but I felt that she did. Part of me tells me that she is scared since she will be graduating soon and I will still be in school for 1-2 more semesters. Anyways, I told her I couldn't be her friend. I told her that we would only be classmates. She started ignoring me and changed her seat in all 3 of our classes. She then dropped one that we had agreed to take for fun. I was mad that she had dropped that class since we had a final assignment. Especially since she didn't talk to me about it. So i told, I'm glad that i told you that we aren't friends anymore. I was an idiot and stupid for saying that. But to start with, I'm an idiot for having told here that we couldn't be friends. So did i screw this up? Do you think that its possible to regain her friendship? I've told her sorry in emails, and text. I haven't had the chance to do it face to face since she completely ignores me and makes sure that she doesn't run into me. I feel like an idiot. |

Okay so, In my group of friends there are 5 people including me. I guess there can be a "leader" in our group but she doesn't really know it. Let's call her Momoi. It feels like everybody in that group likes her more than the rest of the people. She's also really likable so she has a lot of older friends (at our school) and she's also really pretty and skinny and I really admire her... She also plays an instrument and is in the top group. We recently had auditions for our school's broadcast and she made it (of course while I didn't. I just feel envious/jealous of her and I feel really bad for saying that. She also has good grades (all A's) while I have B's. I don't know what to do. There's also this other girl, let's call her Riko. So she really likes Momoi as a friend. Well I think that she's a bit annoying and she gets on my nerves at times. She also made broadcast. Riko always leaves me out and shows off in front of me when her and Momoi hang out. Well, not "mean" - just sending fake texts to them to confuse them and make them wonder wtf lol I set up a fake Gmail account (I have one for my phone's stuff... but I didn't want to use that obviously) and all you needed to know is the person's phone number and which carrier they have. You send it to their email at their carrier's messaging system, then you type whatever and it sends. I tested it on MY phone first and yeah - it does work. It shows as the Gmail account only. So will they ever find out it's me being a butthead unless I tell them? Am I safe? And no, I'm not saying anything bad or threatening. I'm just trying to fool them and make them wonder is all. I would never do something illegal or say someone died or something. This is strictly harmless horseplay. I did with my phone number. I used my Gmail, sent it to my phone messaging code and it worked. My message appeared and it came from my fake account. So I'm guessing theirs did the same. They did reply too and they don't know what I mean (or who I am) to my knowledge, so this will be funny I bet. |

I will be graduating this June and then transferring to a 4 year University that's about 100 miles from my house. I believe the drive is actually 99 exactly from my driveway to that school. But like I said, I live at home. I don't have a job, no girlfriend, not very many friends; and not even a social life. I talk to like 2 or 3 people and that's it. With the exception of the people in my classes, but I really don't count them as friends. But I constantly see these friends of mine who are getting married, getting well paying full-time jobs and getting their own places and actually moving out of there parents house. Not as mutilated, souless zombies) I would bring back mostly people who i feel died too early, but we're talking about this in a more light hearted manner, or at least I am, and assuming there would be no real (inherently negative) consequences -- and by that I mean no curse from the cruel and unforgiving fictional gods for tampering with life and death, and no strange consequences in life from forcing individuals into undue time. It's just talk, one understands. I'd bring back Selena ququintanilla perez, Van Gogh, Beethoven, Jesus, Moses, Syd Barrett, this guy I knew in high school that died of an aneurysm. His name was John. I guess the real question should be, who would you spend some time with if you could, but I just the sci-fi-y idea of bringing back the dead was more interesting. |
