The choir stands behind the preacher so I'm usually in the crowd facing the choir and the preacher. I look around a lot and sometimes we will make eye contact. I usually look away as soon as we do but minutes later our eyes will meet again. She always has a straight face whenever our eye meets. Sometimes our eyes will meet, after we open our eyes after the prayer. We have these group meetings. Groups are classified by age. She use to be the leader of my age group till she hit 18. So 8 months ago my girlfriend got a new job that requires travel for work 2-3 days out of the week and began using her phone constantly. I expressed how much this hurt my feelings, she apologized and her use slowed down and eventually was a non-issue. Recently her phone usage is back up to just about constant use which I initially just shrugged off that it was group family texts UNTIL last night. She had a few drinks and was tipsy and was on her phone while I was watching TV. It got late (10pm) and I said I was going to bed and she got up to come with me but a few minutes into being in bed her phone went off and when she picked it up she rolled over away from me. This seemed odd so I just laid there and it was several minutes before she put her phone back down. I get up at 5am for work and when I got up I noticed her phone was now in the kitchen on the charger so I broke my rule of never snooping and when I looked into her phone I noticed that she has been using Whatsapp to text one of her male co-workers that's at one of her out of state offices. I didn't open the page to really look through the texts but all I saw was a message last night from her to him saying she was at her office in portland this week. Why would he need to know that? Why talk to him outside of work and especially why ONLY message him through an app famous for being ease to cover tracks with? |

Then my best friend went and asked them (she's the dudes cousin) what they were talking about and the dude went "so you do like her" and he shrugged and said "yeah sure" and smiled The thing is, when I try texting him, he reads & doesn't reply. It was little awkward because this is the first time we have thought about each other as more than friends. However things are getting problematic....after two dates he followed me EVERYWHERE at school as if we were a couple. Except on our dates he never made a move (like tried to hold my hand etc). So I then decided I didn't like him like as more than friends. however now we don't talk as much and I miss him and think maybe I do like him as a boyfriend. On top of that he is always flirting with this group of girls and I'm getting a little jealous. I don't know how to distinguish if my feelings for him are real...or if I just think I like him but don't really ...? Also I don't know if he's over me??? Should I try and go on another date with him? I'm just so confused because he never made a move and kinda put himself in the friend zone. The problem is- we're both SO SHY! He always looks at me & when I catch him in the act he blushes, looks away, and then looks back at me. He started showing up in areas where I am- but when we talk we're both so awkward that I feel hopeless that we could ever be together. Are there any other dually shy couples out there with any advice as to how I can help us both overcome our shyness & try things out?
