But business is not set yet, so I don't want to risk his future bringing him with me, he needs more attention than I do, he's 84 years old, and the family average is around 95, considering great-momma died at 105 years old. I also already have to take care of my schizophrenic aunt and my grandma with senile dementia. Economically I can, but how can I care of them all, the house is not even mine, family says they have much trouble here already with these two, and I'd last too much getting a house for myself. He lives in terrible conditions, no floor, half roof, no bed, no water, no kitchen; that house is pure shite, yes there's real **** in there; there's no point in fixing but selling it to destroy it. The government haven't give him his pension, they're expecting him to die and so other family members that want the house, and I just get mad at all those; guess what? he may live 10 years more. I was thinking, should I call the newspapers for that governmental ****? sell the house... and send this guy to an old's people home? |

I need my laptop for homework and other stuff as well, e.g. Twitter. I'm currently in my first year of A-Levels and I'm required to do tons of homework and revision. She's a trainee dental nurse - therefore she is required to do a two year college course before she becomes an actual dental nurse. She started her job in February last year, and she started college in September. My sister bought a new Asus laptop with her own money in late August. But in December last year, the laptop screen broke after one of her friends accidentally setted on it. Ever since it broke, she's been having to use my laptop to do her homework. This resulted in me having to make my homework/revision schedule stricter. My mum won't she her laptop with her because I've "got to learn to share", even though I always share. I've asked her several times when she's going to have her screen fixed, and she said when she has enough money. But just this evening, I heard her talking to our mum about her laptop and she admitted she had enough money to fix the screen for at least two months - but she said she doesn't want it fixed because "it takes effort". Why won't she get it fixed? I don't believe that's the real reason. |

Posted: 30 Mar 2015 12:58 PM PDT I have been a great daughter (so I thought) been there for my mom through abusive relationships and addiction when I was growing up I had the choice to live with my Dad but stayed with my mom to protect her. Through her recent illness' I have done my best to be there in every way. I now have a 1yr. old and a family of my own to take care of but I am still here for them. My Dad and has wife had to live with me for four years and invited the wife's son to stay at my house for days at a time against my wishes, and just made it stressful for me to live in my own home. But through it all I did not hold grudge I was happy that they got on their feet and moved out so I can live my life. Note: that one of my weaknesses is that I don't call family as much as I should simply because I do get caught up I know I have to work on that I am really not a phone person and get caught up in my solitude. But my parents don't call me until they need something so why is calling one sided. Now and it seems like more because I have my own family, they try and make me feel guilty with little comments, like :you haven't called", "you forgot about me or you don't care" about me it's irritating because they are not kids and can call me when needed also, they don't even care that I have my own stresses in life. I thought I was doing my best to be a good daughter. It's alot more to it but with this what is your advice what do you think. Much Appreciated. |

Sunday we were supposed to go out when I noticed she was quite miserable, at first I still was going til I heard her threaten to punch him in the face. After that I stopped getting ready and said I didn't want to go. I think she was angry about that, but I have seen them fight in public before and it's embarrassing. She treats him horribly and admits she doesn't care about him. He lies all the time and tries to tick her off. I am sick of watching them fight and refuse to. It's not fun at all to go out and have people stare because they are yelling and insulting each other. She later asked me to go again and I said no. Then she began complaining about how no one is every happy and she's sick of it. Every since then she has been cold and hasn't contacted me since I left to go over my dad's house. She always calls me before work, but didn't today. I was upset, but I feel it's changing into anger. Do I deserve to deal with their fighting? Should I call her or not? It's been on my mind all day. She makes it seem like I am obligated to be around the arguing. |

Then their mom killed them and hid them in a freezer. and this was making me feel sick. And he even said, you just be grateful I don't put you in a freezer. Wtf. my grandma was there and she yelled at him and said its inappropriate so it must be. This is all just cuz I threatened to tell cps that he abused me again when he came home last night. cuz he hit me in a way which I have already toad my teacher about in the past, who sent cps to visit. But they decided it wasn't a problem. Well it is!! He shouldnt hit me just cuz I threw pineapple juice on him. and I was saying this to him and he get mad and say I don't even know the meaning of abuse and that he's never abused me and the worst he's ever done is slap me, which is nothing. That's a lie!! He punched me once when I jumped out at him. And he called me spoiled and said I get everything I want. I didn't get a pet ostrich did I? He is so full of bs can I get him arrested. I have always been a good kid, getting good grades, getting into uni getting a scholarship, no drugs etc. I have just turned 20 and I'm finding it more difficult to deal with this. My parents are divorced and it'd be difficult to move in with my dad as he's adopting and starting a new family with his partner. I study at uni and I did have a job (but ended up too ill with stress to continue). But I would consider getting a job again. I often look after my mum when she's ill (she tends to get ill quite a lot due to problems) and sometimes I think she forgets that. And I have always looked after my mum whenever since I have been young. I have had to deal with problems myself without any help, such as depression and self harming. I have not once asked for help or support from my mum for these problems. I need some advice about what I should. I'm considering taking my stuff and moving in with my boyfriend and our friend because I feel so trapped right now. |

| Question: Daughter suspended from school. What should I do? Posted: 30 Mar 2015 09:45 AM PDT I have a 10 year old daughter whom I get along with very well. She is generally very well behaved, does well in school, and is polite and respectful. I have raised her to respect herself and others. Friday I was called to the school. My daughter was being sent home for the day (and today) because of an incident in morning recess. One of the boys in her class grabbed the book she was reading and wouldn't give it back. When she grabbed it away from him, he pushed her to the ground and stepped on her leg. She apparently got up and kicked him in the nuts. The boy had to go to the school nurse, so that's why they're suspending her for the day. I have taught her that we don't hit people unless it's to protect ourselves. We don't do it simply because we're angry. But honestly, I have a hard time scolding her for what she did. Am I wrong here? |

Everything I want to do she judges, she absolutely hates that I love the color black, (I am not depressed) everything I have black she wants to throw away and buy bright girly colors, she doesn't like that I don't go to school, I'm very mature for my age so I started going online, my grades are damn near perfect but she tells me "you've got to do better" she's trying to get me to go get my GED instead of finishing highschool because she said I NEED to be around other kids, but other people my age are so annoying and childish. Seems like everything I do is wrong and she wants to change. Please help me understand it's driving be crazy when I feel like I'm doing my best and not bothering anyone. (all of this probably sound stupid but it's worrying me) |

Recently, my son has been having behavior problems and I have other kids that I do not want this to rollover to. He brakes out my house and car windows, throw trash around the house and will not clean it up even if I take stuff away. He is 14 by the way. He hits his brothers and sisters and he is so defiant that I can't take it anymore and I almost wanted to give up on him. I want him to go live with his dad but I don't know how this chid support thing works, can someone help me? And, he is behind, will they take it off of him and put it on me? |

We,the whole family decided to plant potatoes. We did that and we got home and were eating food when my father says we are going to saw wood we brought home 2 days ago. I said I am tired and we didnt agree to that. He gets angry with me for that. I know people will say find a job and get out of there,but it's hard to get a job around here. And all jobs are not paid as much as they should.(shitty country) I know there is people in worse situations,but that is not the point. We should stive for better life,not hard life. I come with my brother who is 1 years older than me and whenever we're at my dads house he hurts me like punches me and kicks me and he only does it at my dads house because he knows my dad won't shout at him for it but my mom would if he did it at my mums house. Because of this reason I stay in my bedroom everytime i come here and I just hate it here. My mom knows I hate it here (not the reason) but she says i still have to go because he's my dad. I hate it so much and my brother always thinks he's better because he's a boy and one year older than me. I don't know what to do? I really hate coming here because of my brother. |

They belittle me, make me feel like im nothing and always throw my mistakes in my face. Well ive been keeping at a distance because i don't need the negativity in mine or my childrens life. She favors one child over the other, picks n chooses who she wants to see and when and expects me to jump when she says so. Has no reguards for the fact that I have a life and she tries to control me. I only hear from her once a month and it always ends in a fight. When i don't let her see the kids WHEN she wants WHEN its convenient for her because im busy or whatever the case may be, she threatens to take me for grandparents visitations rights. Its disqusting the way she treats me & quite frankly im not anywhere near making amends with her because she refuses to admit she's wrong. So today she texts me and asked me if she could see the kids this weekend. Well because i didnt answer her back that very moment, she freaked out. She said " i don't care if you dont want to see me, ill just pick up the kids and bring them back ". To me that's rude. Thats basically saying **** me. Am i wrong for feeling hurt & wanting to keep my distance?? Trust me its not hurting the kids, she was barely in there lives anyway. Please no rude comments. Im really struggling with this situation. |

Posted: 30 Mar 2015 08:57 AM PDT Okay, so over a month ago i had a huge fallout with my parents, they found an ecig in my room and also found out i had sex with my boyfriend while my little siblings were downstairs. My dad has completely ignored my existence and any attempts for apology yet my mom keeps screaming at me to apologize. My boyfriend has made numerous attempts to apologize but my parents call it bs and 'scripted'. I have tried countless times to apologize and everytime i get yelled at and told that i am lying. So, i gave up apologizing and now my mother says that i am pretending everything is okay. I only have a few months until i can move out but i dont have a job or anywhere to go. What should i do. My gpa is about a 3.1/4 in a finance major, and I go to an average ranked university. I am not insecure about this. My younger brother on the other hand is extremely bright, he got well over a 2000 on his sat and got accepted into one of the best colleges in the U.S. Lately however, he got rejected from many top universities. This humbled him greatly and unlike before when I was in highschool we could talk and enjoy normal conversations. Recently however he got accepted into one of the top 20 colleges in the U.S. After this it seems like I went back to the highschool days. When ever I try to talk with him he just ignores me, argues with me, or pokes fun at me for being "stupid" or talking in a funny way. I have noticed that its impossible to have a conversation with him anymore, because he considers himself too "good" to talk with me. The only time I could talk to him is when we argue about something academically related (such as how good job prospects for a finance major.) He will argue and poke fun at me but we are never able to have a conversation anymore. I have to live with him since we share a room, and I commute to college from my house (I lived in the dorm my first semester and didn't like it much.) How to deal and talk to him without getting mad? Should I just ignore him, and give up talking to him entirely? |

I finally found a job with good pay and a great boss. One day in his office I saw his high school graduation picture on his wall. I told him that my mom went to the same high school. He asked me her name in school. When I told him, he said "I knew your mom in high school. I can see were you get your good looks. She was the most beautiful girl in the school." WOW was that nice to hear. He asked if I had a picture or my mom now. I said no. He said "I would like to see her again to catch up on old times. Why don't you let me take the two of you to lunch some time. I said "great I would arrange it". It sounded like that would be fun. When I told my mom about this she said she did not want to see anyone she went to high school with. When I ask her why she told me she had gained 10 pounds since she was in high school and didn't feel like she looked good. I told her 10 more pounds in 20 years and after 3 kids did not change her great looks. She still looked great. How can I convince her she is still beautiful and should join us for lunch? Would taking her to get her hair and nails done and helping her buy a new dress make her change her mind? It is always good for your job to make your boss happy don't you think? Moms and others, PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS. |
| Question: Am I wrong for being upset? Posted: 30 Mar 2015 08:48 AM PDT My dad and I were watching the voice and one of the singers changed her hair. She used to have an afro but in this episode she had silky smooth hair. I didn't see anything wrong with this. Then my dad says she is not being who she really is and he hates it. This began a discussion where he doesn't respect people who get boob jobs and surgery or a different style of hair. He says they need to be what they were born with. I didn't understand and it made me upset a bit. He doesn't think these people deserve repeat because they change their appearance. Am I wrong for being upset when hearing this? He also says that it's like they are lying to him. If a woman wears makeup, and then she takes it off, he feels as though they are lying to him. Please answer. Thank you. |

I've been from house to house, state to state and step father to step father my whole life. I work at McDonalds. Its not much. It isn't my dream job per say. Yet, I'm happy there. I hate the job itself but I love my coworkers. Well, I work around 40-50 hours a week. I know, people work more but.. I still put 100% effort into my job. I get exhausted. After working six to seven day weeks I don't worry to much about the condition of my room. Well, my latest step-father got laid off. That sucks, it truly does. He worked hard at his job as well. Ever since he got laid off he has become a straight.. Dick. Well, every time I am around me he calls me lazy and ****. It gets old and last night I ended up pointing out that I may be "lazy" yet I can hold a job. He became furious and started talking down to me. Telling me about how he's better then me because he has a higher form of education and made more money when he isn't working opposed to my best checks. My mother asked me to stop saying it and ended up hitting me in the face. Again. This is far from the first occurrence that she has done this. Should I just.. Move across the country and try to move into a place with my old friend? Little to no money. I don't have a high school diploma. I don't drive. I.. I just have good work ethics. Will that get me far enough in life to move out? |

He didn t want to go to the hospital and sign because he said he had plans. And he keeps asking me if he can take the baby to sleep over and travel without the baby being able to communicate with me, meaning the baby will be too little to speak, will the court allow him to take him if he wants to fight that? He lives at his parents house and they don t like kids, plus his life style is all about clubs and women. And when something doesn t go his way he gets very angry. I am scared please help |

We have been dating for 4 months, college students, and it has been great! We have went to trips together, Florida, Chicago, and more upcoming ones. I have done everything to make he happy, she has depression issues, so I was making her happy to the point that she didn't need pills for a period of time. I visited their home for 4-5 trips, and everyone loves me there, to the point that I was called a grandchild. She is really close to her family, really close. We had two fights, the first a month back, I left her at the gym with my friend and her sister. We resolved it that night, and just friday I come home from a stressful day at work, with a person collapsing on the job to her telling me her parents are forcing me to tell my dad. In arab culture, you tell the mom because she has lee way and your dad knows later, because he would completely disagree at first. I had lost my temper real bad, calling her a liar when she exaggerated things on the phone with her parents and telling her I was putting her back in place when she cries. she called her parents crying and they came to pick her up, not wanting to hear from me again. She returned, and we talked about it, and we made up, kissing for a long time. Her parents call and ask if she broke up, and she denied. He said it was either him or her. We can't live without eachother, and really do love eachother. Her parents just took this fight in account. she said breaking up is best, but we don't want to! I really need help, advice, need her back! her mom said she was having a mental breakdown, sister cried, and dad said he was sad. But she really loves me, choosing me first over them, but not wanting to hurt anyone, so she said to break up better. When she returned, it wasn't 5 minutes after we made up that her dad called her to ask her if she had. she broke up, unwantingly, 20 min after, after she called her bestfriend. her bestfriend believes breaking up isnt the solution. We are college sophmores She doesn't want to leave her parents, and tells everything to her parents. She is so close to her parents. |

My entire family lives here but with the exception of my parents, I see my family on holidays. Also my parents are now in Florida half the year.
