Okay, so I feel awful about what I just did. I really, REALLY do not like my brother s girlfriend. She s terrible to my mother and I and he s blind to it and thinks she s "sweet"--and not to mention she has no manners and comes Into our house screaming and talking real loud like a maniac. So just to make myself feel better, I "cursed" her and closed it out. But righty before I did, it said that I would have bad karma coming my way because my "soul has lost karma". Well my cousins have lived here in GA with us a long time ago and we didn't live in the same house, but they were still here. But eventually they moved away with their dad and it was sad for me. I moved on though. I'm 15 at the moment and my aunt has been battling my uncle for her kids to come back and live with us. I was told that in the Summer she's taking them and they're not going back. Which means, they'll be living with me and I will no longer be an only child. I don't like this idea at all because I liked being spoiled and getting everything and if they live here, I'll be having to consider them in every single thing and won't be able to get everything I want. My mom treats her husband better than me in every aspect. When try to have a conversation with her she has an attitude and seems uninterested. When her husband talks to her she's perfectly fine. She breaks her neck to do and go somewhere for him. But when I ask (and I barely do) she says no or for what or gets an attitude. When I have to be somewhere by a certain time and he tags along but takes forever and I get angry or beep the horn or something she gets defensive and curses at me "what the f*** are you in a rush for?" Yet she has no problem waiting on him but when it's one of her brothers and we're waiting outside the store in the car in they've only been in for 5 minutes she gets an attitude and is in a rush when we're not even going anywhere. I could be joking with him how she claims hes joking with me and shell get an attitude and say "the attitude is unnecessary". But when he does something and hes not joking and i say something she'll say "he's joke joking what the f*** are you getting an attitude for?" She's just a ***** towards me and treats him like he's a king and treats her sorry family like s*** too. She just has her priorities completely mixed up. I just can't wait to move out.

I live in an apartment complex in LA and there is this little kiddy gang of 5-12 yr old boys in our neighborhood. Lately they acquired some really powerful pellet guns and has been shooting at my window when my cats perch there during the day. They also aim at the side wall of my apartment and had put quiet a few little holes in it. Whenever I ask them to stop they just curse at me in Spanish (which I understand but do not speak). The management does nothing to stop this. Their parents don't undetstand a word in English at all so there's no way I can talk to them either. What can I do to stop them? Should I call the cops?

I feel like I'm just staying at their house. My dad said that he misses my smile, and I know that he's concerned about me. She's also very judgemental towards other people. This has brought me closer to my grandmother, and I do talk to her about some of my issues. My grandmother is also the only one who is willing to take me to visit colleges and meet people that can help me. My grandmother will probably also help me with prom, and graduation. I am the youngest (15) of four kids and, well, I feel really bad when my parents buy me things. For example: I used to have really bad acne and my mom used to spend a lot of medication and creams and face care on it. It's a lot better with a few scars but my mom continues to buy creams to help make my skin clearer. I just feel like they're wasting money on me and that that money could have been used towards saving for something more important. My dad works a lot - sometimes he would be up at 5 am and won't come home until 12 am the same day so I just feel like they should save the money up for the two of them but I don't want to seem like a selfish child for not appreciating the things they buy for me. I am very self conscious about money and I worry about the future a lot - financial wise. Is it, like, normal to feel this way? I mean, I don't want to seem like I don't appreciate my parents by what they buy me but I just always feel so guilty by it.

Ok so im 18 about to be 19 soon and my mom is throwing me out of the house. I have no kids, no girlfriend, no liscense, not in college, and no friends i can get a place with at the current moment because they are all seniors in high school. I cannot live with other family either because they all live out in a different state. I make $10 an hour at a warehouse full time sort of; I get atleast 36 hours a week. There is no way i can continue to stay at home. My mom says i NEED to go that i dont listen to her rules, am bad energy for the rest of the family, and that i need to learn what its like out in the real world. Thats all ok with me. Im determined to make it all work out. I have deep motivation to become independent. Whatever is necessary for me to make it on my own i will do it. Im a little nervous and excited and i know it will be kinda hard but i refuse to be a *****; im just a little skeptical about my financial situation. I think i will need a second job. Any advice?

I don't mean to sound like a brat but my family is REALLY dysfunctional... I want a healthy and normal relationship with my parents and sister but that's not going to go any where seeing as my dad is always insulting me / making jokes about me & my mom is just over board crazy she had a camera put in all the rooms and she monitors all the internet history which is crazy because honestly I don't do anything! And I feel like they are removing a big chunk of my life out because she sends me to a private school which is super religious & everyone there is so judge mental and rude and my mom always yells at me for no reason and grounds me when I speak my opinion because she finds it insulting. and I feel like I have no real good memories of my school years because she never lets me go anywhere to hang out or to parties and im not even allowed to close the door to my room that's a tad to much... and my sister Ugh where do I start ? A verbally and emotionally abusive parent loves to badmouth, disparage their kid. No matter how untrue and inaccurate their judgement are, it can get to the point where the child will answer back and argue and outwit them. But they say thats a bad move. It's much better to not convince them and just keep one's mouth shut. How come?

Well my parents both hate me. My mom is always yelling at me and my dad is always yelling at me. Sometimes when my mom is being mean to me my dad tries to act all nice to me so that i will be more attached to him and leave my mom completly alone. But other than that he is always yellling at me calling me stupid. Yesterday there were a couple of clothes I needed help folding. I folded most of them and put them in my closet but there were 3 shirts and 2 pants and 1 undershirt still left so I asked my mom if she could do it. I would have been fine if she just said no or something because this is what she did. She forgot to do them and then the next day I asked her if she did them or not and she stared sreaming at me. she said that i was 13 years old and should be able to fold a few clothes. She was folding my clothes while doing this. so i just said i could do them and then she threw all of the clothes out of the basket and said fine!! Also im kind of sick right now like i have an itchy nose and itchy throat and i am not allergic to any thing and my mom said she would book an apointment with the doctor but she never did and whenever i remind hr to do something she gets mad. Last night I picked her up to stay over and her mother exploded and told her no one loves her, and how terrible of a daughter she is, and how she wishes she would die so she doesn't have to suffer anymore. And it upsets my girl and makes me uncomfortable, I don't even wanna see my girl because there's always that feeling im taking her away from her mother.. How to deal with this??

So my family's friends are living with us because they soldtheir house and are in the process of buying a new one. They have a 2 year old named Micah and theyve been staying with us for 3 weeks. I love spending time with Micah but he tends to not leave me alone. He will follow me everywhere, he's even just walked in my room and I'm afriad I'm undressing when he does it again. He also get's a lot of what he wants so if he doesn't he cry's and screams. I'm 17 and if they are still here near exams I might pull my hair out. He constantly yells my name and announces stuff 50 times. What do I do? I don't want to tell the parent's how to take care of their kid because I don't know them super well. He's just annoying how do I deal with him?

I've been struggling with my weight my entire life (I'm 17). My mom claims to be very supportive, but whenever she goes to the store she just buys junk food and crap. When I tell her that this bothers me because my self control is very fragile, she gets so angry. My parents never cook meals for me, so I usually just end up eating the junk food and feeling like crap. My mom says that if I want to eat real meals, all I have to do is tell her what I need from the store and she'll buy it but I go to school and I have a job and I don't even know how to cook. Whenever I mention anything about wanting to lose weight, she gets so angry. I think it's because she's kind of fat and she feels weird about her relationship with food, but it makes me so sad that I can't even talk to my mom about it because it's such a huge part of my life. What should I do?

my boyfriends twin brother died last year it was sohard on th whole family. he got hit by a drunk drver on his way home from fireworks. his other brother was addicited to drugs (heroin) and he just got out of jail about 2 weeks ago, he promised he would stay clean. he cam out of jail and livd with us , he went out for coffee and we ended up getting just O'd off heroin and is on way to hospital. his brother char, has no emotions and hes acting like it didnt happen, ive been with him for 4 years and live with him how do I comfort his prents? btw im 19 im at loss for words. please and thank you for taking the time to read this.

So I'm in junior high band (7th grade) and I'm gonna be starting at a new school soon. I don't want to quit yet but I wanna quit when I start at my new school. the reason is that I already have friends at my new school and none of them are in band so I would be alone. Plus, I just don't really like it. I play the flute but I absoluetly never bring it home just to do it for fun because it isn't fun for me. The thing is, my mom says I can't quit. She wants me to be in activities or whatever. But I am! I play 3 sports and I do a lot of acting stuff. plus, I'm really smart so do some stuff that involve that. alsp, my aunt and grandma for some reason don't want me to quit. and they'd be disappointed if I quit. how can I convince my mom to let me quit and have my grandma and aunt not be disappointed?

He loves Doctor Who and Once upon a time stuff but I dont really want to get him that. What should I get? He loves technology & his really creative!

About 3 years ago, my family and I went through some hardships. A family member died, and something that happened with her has caused me to feel an intense amount of guilt. For a whole year I couldn't admit what I did, and I thought about it constantly. Also in that time, my family had started to fall apart, we were bickering constantly, money became a huge issue. I also got made fun of a lot in school, which made it all worse. I'm still hurt over it all. I still can't forgive myself, and when I see or hear things that remind me of my family member, the guilt just kicks in. At least once every other month, I get flashbacks and dreams that usually make me cry for a few days. I've tried to forgive myself, but I feel like I don't deserve my own forgiveness. I mentioned the other family things because they have effected me too. I don't trust my family anymore, I don't want to be around them. The only family I can trust is my brother, mother and father. I'm not still hurt by the bullying, I was for a while but I've now moved on from that and take it as something thats made me stronger. I've heard some people tell me I show signs of PTSD although I doubt I have it. Do I have any disorders, or am I just scarred by the events?

My dad went to work and just told me to add a number in my phone which isn't his to check up on him like at 2:00 am because he's got to meet some guys that are mad at him and he told me to call 911 if he's not home all day!?!? Should I be really worried?

I have a very over achieving family, my parents always tells us to do our best. Im usually studious and makes As and Bs in school. But my little sister makes Ds and Cs, she can be so annoying at time. She loves to irritate me and call me a neat freak or square. She's also boy crazy, she got detention for attempting to kiss some boy last week. She even gave her phone number to some random boy in our neighborhood. My mom almost never let her go outside if she sees a boy. My sister just never tries, she gives up all the time. She's always joking around and even poured water on me when I was asleep once. At school, my sister doesn't have much friends, shes often teased constantly. Last week she got in huge fight after school with some bully, busted lip and bloody nose.When mom and dad found out, they yelled till they were strained. My sisters grounded for five months. She was screaming and throwing tantrums,. She was talking about running away and how she hated all of us. How we don't love her. She ran into her room, started to literally pack and threatened to leave us. Mom had to chase her down the street when she did run away. Did u have a experience like this? I'm really worried for my sister. I don't want her to do anything dumb. Should I worry?

So my 17 year old daughter has been becoming very rude and disrespectful recently towards me and my husband (her dad) but not only to us she swore at teachers and got herself suspended. So basically today we were arguing about her being suspended and I lost it with her and said ''you are such an ungrateful wee *****'' she then called me a ''whore'' and I shouted ''how dare you'' then she just turned round and punched me. My nose was bleeding but thankfully its not as bad now, she ran out of the house and my husband got in the car and chased her but we don't know where she is. What really annoys me is she used violence and that we bought her a very very expensive car for her upcoming 18th birthday and she never even thanked us. What should I do? I don't want to call the police but I'm tempted to pack her bags and tell her leave. Thank you.

So we just welcomed baby #2 into the family on March 6th and when I was pregnant my 2 and a half year old daughter was excited about having a little brother but I'm not really sure she understood. Now that he's here, she will get mad whenever I can't play with her (which is often now) and she will do things she's not suppose to like pull on his arms. How do I help her?

My life has nothing for me right now since I moved I've gotten myself in more and more trouble . And nothing good has come out of it except my bf who I love dearly but has gotten Locked up about A month ago . But my grandma wants me to move to North Carolina with Her and I'm currently in Philly. I live in a dysfunctional family. My father never talks with me. I don't know him at all and feel so distant with him. My parents like to fight for small things and it' s been for years. Sometimes I feel that my father don't love my mother anymore, but they lived together because of me and my sister. I feel closer with my mother, but I can't talk with her because she don't want to listen and can't understand me. I feel so isolated, lonely, and depress recently. I am an introvert and never have a close relation with anyone. I have no friends and never talks with my cousins or other family. I can't express my feeling and emotions to other people and many times I cry alone when I can handle them anymore. Is it my fault that I don't have any friends and feel so isolated in my life? My teenage life was so different from most of others. It's easier when I was younger, but now as I am growing as young adult, I don't know anymore what to do with my life?

I'm 14 years old and i'm a girl well anyways I know it's not my business but its getting on my damn nerves now, I know they love each other but I constantly hear them. Even my 11 year old sister knows what they're doing and she's getting sick of it. It makes my dog sad, I hear them moaning, I hear the bed shaking.
