We are now in the same city after 6 years apart. He is an entrepreneur who runs his own startup and is extremely busy, working long and odd hours. But he always makes time to hang out just the two of us and do things like go to shows, go to yoga, try new athletic classes, go to parks, fancy restaurants, etc. And he suggests things for us to do together in the future and always just seems to be really happy and sweet when we're together. It feels nice that he will still spend an entire day with me alone. Yesterday we went to this spa/water park together and had dinner after, and he told me that on Saturday he spent all day working. So really he just had one free day and he spent it with me. He has a huge group of really close friends that all ended up in this city (many of them grew up together). So it's hard enough for him to make time to see them (it's a group with both guys and girls). Because he has so little time, I'm wondering why he would devote so much of it to me if he's not romantically interested? He said that this is the most important year of his life (because it will determine how his business does), so is he just trying to get the benefits of doing "couple-y" things without having to commit? I'm 15 btw. so today, with some friends, we saw a couple of cute girls, so, my friends and I went up there, except I didn't say a word, or stand close to them. We talked and they gave us their snapchats. So after we all SC them. I could tell they weren't very interested in me, because it took them a while to reply, they never screenshotted one of mine, while they screenshoted 3-3 friends, never asked me for my Instagram, and just stopped replying while they talked to my friends. So I know I'm not the most attractive, but to me I think I fairly am attractive. Tbh, a couple years ago I was "fat". Over time and after working on it a ton, I've really toned up and everything, but still kinda big. This was an example of how unattractive I am to girls. Lol So I have no confidence with girls, and going 0-3 on getting girls numbers doesn't help. I want to talk to girls, random ones, to get to know them and everything, but I need serious help. She just messaged me yesterday saying hi with a smiley face. and she is coming over to hang out with my sister, she is already here! on friday my sister was messaging my friend telling him he was cute just to piss me off, so when I messaged her friend, her friend said that she thought that I was just doing what my sister did to my friend.... Never been on a date, held hands, etc. I have a great paying job, a condo, a car. I've attempted asking out women all through high school and college, but around 27 i sort of gave up. All the rejections became repetitive, and frustratingly thought maybe it wasn't meant for me so I dove into my job. I have a close circle of friends that I spend time with every week, and they know about it. Some of them they keep telling me how good I have it, and others tell me it may be my physical features (5'3 130 Ib). My daily routine is go to work, come home and relax till my next shift. On weekends I hang out with friends, and walk my dog. They describe me as a witty nerd (I'm an experimental biologist), so I'm guessing that's a good attribute to have. I have no hard feelings, but now that my siblings have kids and are in healthy relationships, my parents won't get off my back about it. It pains me to lie to them, but the past couple of family gatherings have become a burden to me. I have no problem being the awesome uncle. Just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on how to go about my parents? Appreciate it. |

I'm 20 he's 19 We've obviously been through a lot just like other couples have. he's been staying with his grandmother for about a year now, he sleep on the couch & pretty much the living room is his "room". The other day he told me he was moving out & going to live with his 3 best friends & friends girlfriend. They're buying a house.. "One big happy family" I'm honestly not excited about the whole Plan.. But I'm trying to be I HATE the idea of it. & I've been thinking & thinking & honestly I feel horrible I feel like I'm being jealous & selfish.
