Question: Is my husband in love with my younger sister? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 08:46 PM PDT I have other siblings but my husband keeps asking about my younger sister at every little opportunity. He offers to travel to drop her off in school when she can go on her own and keeps talking about how he wants to visit her in school. I notice the way he looks at her continuously whenever she comes around and he keeps trying to get her to travel with him so he can introduce her to people that will help her achieve her dreams. She is so thrilled about the idea of him linking her up and is willing to travel with him but i know he's just seeking to get close to her. When I first met him, he got close to me by lying and promising to help me with my dreams but he never did anything, instead we started dating for years and finally got married. I saw that he also used the same strategy to get close to girls and the few times I caught him cheating or trying to cheat, he simply said he was just helping them out with their careers. I noticed he has feelings for my sister but I didn't confront him about it cos he would deny it and say i'm crazy. He woke up yesterday to announce that he dreamt about my sister and they were getting married in his dream. They bought the wedding gown in the dream and made preparations and my family accepted it in the dream. It seems clear to me now that he has been thinking of being with her to the extent of even dreaming about her. Our marriage is almost a year old and i'm pregnant with our first child. Pls advice me on what to do. Plsssss..... |
Question: Do I have a chance with this guy? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 08:39 PM PDT I met a guy recently. He is a friend of my ex boyfriend (from 10 years ago). My ex boyfriend got divorced a year ago and we have hung out a few times to see if we still have sparks. So this new guy came with us to a party recently and thats where I met him. I really like him but I was on a semi-date. Basically my ex is a good guy and i wanted to give it a shot to see if things could rekindle. However sparks are not there between us. I could tell this new guy was interested but I didnt flirt because it would be inappropriate given the circumstances, I was there with another guy. And my ex was tring to act like a couple with me, trying to hold me and stuff. Do I have a chance with the new guy despite how we met? Any advice would be appreciated. |

Question: Did I make a mistake with my co-worker? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 08:28 PM PDT I'm 24 and work at a grocery store stocking shelves. I've worked here for 3 years. The whole time, I've worked with Angela, a cashier, who is 40. Angela is married and has no kids. I don't know the details of her marriage, but the for the past year or so, she's seemed unhappy. We've always gotten along really well and she's easy to talk to. Two weeks ago we were the last two people there and were closing up...and we were in the lounge, and out of nowhere, she kissed me on the lips. She said, "sorry" and seemed upset, but I hugged her and kissed her and we made out. Since then, we've been sort of sneaking around. Sometimes at work, we'll make out in the lounge when we're the only two in there, or we'll make out in my car or her car, and we both go to the same gym and we made out there. We haven't had sex, I'll touch her legs, butt, and breasts but that's as far as we've went. Her marriage seems to be coming to an end soon but I still feel guilty about what I'm doing, but at the same time, it's really exciting to be making out with an attractive older woman. How do I handle this? |

Question: Husband keeps "joking" about divorce? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 06:39 PM PDT My husband keeps cracking "jokes" about divorce. Many times when we're out with others I'll hear him say "if we get divorced" or "if we don't work out" in his comments. There's one in particular I hear over and over again. He has a tattoo of a schooner and when people ask him what inspired it, he says the name of the schooner is the Rebecca (my name), but then he'll say, "But it doesn't have the name written on it, so if we get divorced I just have a cool tattoo of a ship." I've heard this SO many times. Are all these little comments red flags? Is he repressing some kind of antipathy and these little slights are the only way he can get them out? |

Question: In a marriage, is it bad that if one of the partner doesn't have any friends? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 06:07 PM PDT I heard somewhere that couples have to manage both active life with friends, families and with each other. My question, what happens if one of the spouse in marriage doesn't have any friends? (introvert, asperger's, etc.) Is it bad? |

Question: How much money Do I have to give my wife a month if we are separating and I'm in the navy? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 05:50 PM PDT Me and my wife are separating. I am an E-4 with 3 years 7 months in. We live in San Diego. I'll probably move back onto the ship while we get this divorce started. Can somebody here please tell me how much I'm supposed to give her a month down to the exact dollar? I tried looking at pay calculators but they're pretty confusing... I don't want to give her more then I have to but I don't want to give her any less as well... Please help thank you. Again E4 stationed in San Diego. |

Question: What are some good ways to destress? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 05:36 PM PDT HELP!! I'M STRESSED!!! I work a crappy job for a lying sack of crap that tripled my workload then cut my pay by $10k. My spouse works full time too so I have to watch the kids. I have a 19 month old and a 6 month old. I HATE watching them. So, after I get off of this job that I hate, I have to come home and watch these two kids for 9 hours. I don't think it stresses out my wife as bad because I think women just like to watch little children but I think it's the worst thing ever. My wife doesn't get home till 10:30-11 and I get up to go to work at 3am.. who knows whether or not these two little dudes will go to sleep when they're supposed to. So... I don't sleep well and my whole life is filled up with sh!t that stressed me out... What are some good ways to keep from building a guillotine in my backyard and slicing my head off? Now cheating... that's a great idea especially since my wife has gained 100 pounds with the two kids... but alas.. I don't even have time to do that. |
Question: Where did you meet your husband or wife ? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 05:27 PM PDT So am getting old and my life is passing me by ( I'm 25). I would have wanted to have been married at 18, and just have one person for the rest of my life, to get married to and grow old together with. However, I'm shy and introverted and just don't like putting myself out there. How can I meet a faithful, respectful, low s3xual partner count, no drugs, no addictions, believes in God and doing the right thing, not old enough to be my dad type of man ? I'm not picky, I just need to find the person attractive and the guy have good morals. It's fine if he is divorced, or has kids, etc. so long as he is a good faithful person. WHERE are men like this at ? I go to church but the men are all married or widowed but they're like 60+ ? I have no luck, I'm not hideous or anything, I'm 5'7 and below 110 pounds. Maybe that's it ? Maybe I'm too skinny and guys like women who are voluptuous ? IDK. |
Question: Is this really true about men and why they cheat? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 05:23 PM PDT So I was speaking with my boyfriend and we've been together for 7 years. We have a pretty good relationship. During a conversation about the way our fathers messed up their marriages and torn apart their families with their cheating. my boyfriend said that while he doesn't agree with their actions, he understands because men cannot help themselves. He said that there are some men that just have the urge to have sex and alleviate their penis. It is just an uncontrollable organ. Is this true? Men simply cheat because they can't control their d!cks and don't want to use their brain? When married or taken men see a woman they would like to have sex with, why can't they just be honest with their significant other and tell them how they feel and just break off the relationship as to avoid MORE pain and betrayal? I would gladly appreciate that than to be lied to. In a way, I feel like there will be a time I will catch my boyfriend cheating and I will be yet another woman that gets her heart broken. Are ALL men just destined to be cheaters and liars?? |
Question: Answers from others who had affairs? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 05:00 PM PDT Has anyone been thru this? I have feelings for another woman and she has even stronger feelings back . We can't be together because I'm married so I try to except it but she keeps at it. I've let myself become weak and have giving in and had sex a few times (going on a year about 10times) but when I try to end things she makes me feel awful and says threatening things like how my wife will find out and hate me and so on. I know I'm 100% in the wrong having a affair. I don't leave my wife because I know she'll hurt and I can't man up to what I've done to her. My question here is why can't I let this other woman go when she makes these threats and brings me down so often.?? I get so angry with her that I don't understand why part of me can't let her go. Don't we start to hate people when they chase us and make life harder? Why isn't that driving me to push her away more.? |
Question: Should we have a child? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 04:54 PM PDT My wife and I have been married for almost 1 year. She is 36 and I am 23. We are discussing the subject of having a child while Nancy is young enough to have children. If we go ahead with this, Nancy is very sure that she wants to continue her career after maternity leave and child daycare is not an option we want to consider, so she has requested that I surrender my job and be a stay at home dad to raise our child. Since she easily makes the larger portion of the household income, it is probably the most practical thing to do. My income is not high enough that I could support a family on my own. I'm wondering if I'm ready to exchange my work uniform for an apron and dishtowel. Am wondering if anyone else has had to look at this scenario. |

Question: I feel uncomfortable at work, what should I do? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 04:34 PM PDT I'm a 21 year old girl, and I have been working in an office filled with married mothers for almost a year. They've been telling me for months that I will understand what life is really about when I get have a husband or kids. I've never really been bothered by that until today, when they found out through social media that I am a liberal, bisexual agnostic, and I'm proud of who I am. They're on the completely opposite side of the political spectrum, and they tore me a new one today at work, saying that what I stand for is unacceptable and that I'm what's wrong with this country. Needless to say I was very upset, and it also happened to occur to me that they will not value me as a human being unless I get married and have children. I was planning on leaving there next year in order to return to school (I actually started working there in order to save money for school), but I don't know if I should just throw in the towel now and figure something else out. WWYD if you were in my position? |
Question: Do You have to annul a marriage to a bigamist before marrying someone else? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 04:25 PM PDT My husband found out that the women he married in Vegas, was still married to her other husband when they got married. I have heard that you don't have to, because we have proof of her committing bigamy, so the wedding was null and void. As if it never happened. We got married since then, and I am wondering if we are legally married, or if he needed to complete the annulment even though it was on bigamy grounds? |

Question: Wife pays more, does that mean she is entitled to it all? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 03:59 PM PDT My wife and I have seperate bank accounts and we pool money for.bills into a joint account for our own reasons. Well my wife makes more than me, making it harder for me to split mortgage 50%. She puts in $100 more than I do. Is she right to tell me that it is "her" house , and not ours? We get into arguments about this all the time and I only end up feeling stressed in the end because this is her logic. |
Question: Maybe this will help? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 03:52 PM PDT I need a little help here. I have been married for a while now. Just had a beautiful baby boy. And my husband left two weeks prior to him being born. He states its from a text message conversation i had with my ex. Mind he is the father to my now ten year old daughter. The conversation was about if he and his wife were fighting and if they were stable so my daughter could go visit. With out all the fighting. Now my husband decided to look through my phone and stated I had an inapropriate converstation with him and I was cheating on him for it. He needed to think and breath for a while. I have let him breath and not been up his rearend. I have now just found out he is seeing another woman. (Found out via facebook from my sister who wanted to say congrats on the new baby) When confronted on the new woman...and us working on our marrigae. He now wants a divorce and not to "slow walk this situation of divorce". Last time seeing his children he now says, I am on his mind everyday and his heart says one thing his mind says another. I by far understand this. I'm praying to have someone help me understand. |

Question: How do dominate wives treat their submissive husbands on their birthday? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 02:55 PM PDT Hi everyone, my hubby's birthday is next week and I really need some advice because we live in a female dominated relationship. My husband is a wonderful man that does everything to please me. How do dominated wives treat their submissive husband on his birthday or Father's Day? He loves to serve me and I enjoy the lifestyle of being the dominate figure of the household. With our female dominated relationship, I have the final decision, my hubby does most of the chores and baby duties. He is required to be my personal/sexual slave. He gets an orgasm every two months and masturbation is strictly prohibited. I no longer give him blowjobs as that's a sign of weakness. I do enjoy giving him physical punishment, even if he doesn't deserve it. Sometimes I go to far and treat him like a worthless piece of meat, which isn't my intention. We have been living in this type of relationship for 11 months. My husband was very upset last night, he told me that he loves to serve me, but he feels very stressed and exhausted, he also feels neglected and lonely. He wished that I show more affection, care, meaningless, attention, communication, love and intimacy, he wished that he had his original wife back. I do treat him as a submissive slave, but I love him with all my heart and soul. But it's hard to show my love when I'm supposed to be this female dominant figure that's suppose to show no mercy!! So how should I treat my husband on his birthday, given this relationship that we have?? |

Posted: 27 Mar 2015 02:14 PM PDT I feel like women like "confidence," in a man, but there's no so such thing as a completely confident man. There's always a sensitive side to every man, and once a woman learns that, they stop treating the man the same way. They stop feeling like they have to do anything. Not all women do this, but many women will stop being as loving and caring, once they realize the man they are with is just a normal man like any other person. |

Question: How do you make an interfaith marriage work? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 02:06 PM PDT I'm a very liberal christian (United Church of canada. We're so liberal that the minister at my last church was a lesbian) and my boyfriend was born and brought up as a Wiccan. I have agreed not to have our children baptized but I will teach them about Christianity and about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Likewise, my boyfriend will teach our children (when we have them) about his Pagan beliefs. How does this work for other people? Any suggestions? |
Question: Please give advice marriage is failing? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 01:43 PM PDT When me and my wife got married, I had some issues with alcohol and smoking..When I got drunk I did things I didn't remember. So I changed and quit drinking and smoking, for I wanted to be a better husband and better for myself. Well, 4 months later my wife told me that my child wasn't welcome in the house for she caused drama. My daughter has a smart mouth, which any 15 yr old girl may have, but everytime she was reprimanded for it. But I stayed, for our marriage was new and I loved them both, so I was gonna try to be the peace keeper. Time goes by, and I work a job that consists of 4 days on and 4 days off. But I usually work overtime so I normally would work 5 days a week at least and I got to see my wife which is about 3 days out of 8 days (my wife lives 100 miles away due to the fact her daughter has anxiety problems and she doesn't want to move her out of her school district). My wife has told me several times she doesn't care how much overtime I work, to me this sounds funny..For If u love your significant other, you shouldn't want them to work more overtime..But I ignored it..So as time goes by, she tells me that I smother her the 3 days that I am there, I told her how can I smother you if I am only there 3 days outta 8 days. But she stood by her statement. I have heard this statement of hers so many times, along with I make her feel this way or that way. I never understood for I never was trying to make her feel anyway. Question: Is it worth getting child support if I have to give up custody? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 01:32 PM PDT My boyfriend turned out to be a deadbeat. He doesn't give me a penny toward our baby cost. I pay for his health insurance, $2500 deductible, diapers, formula, clothes, toys and everything else. I'm going back to work soon and can't afford daycare so I don't know what to do. If I go to court to ask for child support he will in turn ask for custody. The baby lives with me and the thought of my ex having him without me to watch out for him is unthinkable. He brags about having a baby and shows off his cute pics for attention while I'm housebound watching him day and night with no help from him. He easily loses his temper too. Should I sue for child support I desperately need if it means I will have to hand over the baby to that idiot to share custody with? |

Question: Teen daughter sabotages fathers new marriage. Is he blind? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 12:06 PM PDT I've been living in a very stressed out home for 2.5 years. The first two filled with husband, X-wife and step children drama. Unresolved custody matters, nasty emails, lawyers and court. In my opinion immaturity, inability to problem solve, poor coparenting, lack of structure, lack of discipline, lack of consistency, lack of consequences and maladjusted teens that never had any counceling. Drama ruled to pit the biological parents against eachother for the teens to get their way, erroding a brittle foundation and stressing everyone in the family. Step mother/new wife is to blame... while teens successfully work to divide and conquer. -- When is enough enough? Counceling is at a dead end. I would love to hear my husband acknowledge that his choises were wrong even though had the best intentions. I would love for him to hold me and appoolgize for the emotional and physical pain he's put me through. Yet he stands defending that it was me who caused the problems; that his children are well adjusted. |
Posted: 27 Mar 2015 11:54 AM PDT My husband has a bad temper. He yells, calls me names, insults me, breaks things, and often does it within ear shot of our three kids. He says he knows it is wrong, but in the same breath blames me for not communicating with him properly. This occurs at least every 3 weeks. Advice? |

Posted: 27 Mar 2015 11:25 AM PDT at the beginning of our marriage..I was no saint..I did several things bad..and it all was cause of alcohol...I quit drinking that much..I quit smoking.well time passed by and I work like 5 days a week and off 3..and she lives in Louisville..she told me that I could work all the overtime I wanted..and it didn't bother her..when I was there for 3 days, she told me I smothered her.she told me..my daughter wasn't welcome cause of her mouth..even though I reprimanded her.I paid for all our trips..and I paid her car off 1200 dollars..600 dollars for spark plugs..I cleaned the house and did a lot of cleaning..I paid 250 to 300 dollars a month..and wasn't there but less than half the month.paid for 80 percent of the Christmas presents to my step kids..and her parents.well..her mom was diagnosed with alzheimers.during the time we were married..she would bring up her ex here and there..I tried to be understanding for they were married for 17 yrs..But I always thought..if it hasn't gotta do with the kids..I don't need to hear it..I was told..here is the priority list..my kids, my parents, me and then you..I was like wow. when I think kids are first then family..as one.Well this past January..after I have done everything..she loks at me and said , you know when u moved in 4 is more than 3..I was like wow..she was insinuating..I didn't pay enough..I tried to let it go..but blew up about it.I tried to tell her all I was out in gas..and d |
Posted: 27 Mar 2015 11:12 AM PDT I have my own story to share as a self reflection of the last 3 years, but let's think about the general populous. Why do you think people go on Y!A and ask a question about their relationship for you two scrutinize, evaluate, analyze, and respond? To not two... Not enough sleep lately folks. Been having an issue for some reason with that (even though I'm a grammar pedant). |
Question: Their culture-proud Indians please answer? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 11:12 AM PDT Is it fair? In India, after marriage a wife is loaded with lots of jewellery and other things to announce to the world that she is married but why is there no such requirement for married men in India? Isn't this practice discriminatory? |
Question: So-called "Sanskari" Indians please answer this question regarding joint family? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 11:10 AM PDT Is it right to expect that a wife must leave her parents but a husband can continue to live with his greedy and selfish parents after marriage? |
Posted: 27 Mar 2015 10:53 AM PDT Humans ARE a social species. But we are not a sheeple. We have individual identities that we spend 18 years of our starting life figuring out, and then we move out into the world and show the world how awesome we are... If anyone suggests that the community owns us before we own ourselves, I feel sorry for you and your frame of mind. |
Question: If you got married, what age would you be? Posted: 27 Mar 2015 10:52 AM PDT I wanted to be married at late 20's. It didn't happen but I am ok with it. Not meant to be. I would have happy either way. |
