So I work at a grocery store and throughout the day I pass many coworkers and we exchange hello's or how is the weather and what not, nothing out of the ordinary. But I went in for my shift on This past Sunday and about an hour into it this girl who I'd never seen before asked me how I liked the job... I said it was boring. She laughed, said yeah and walked away. Now this would be a normal conversation for me and a girl except for when I went to grab something from her station and she asked me what I would be doing if I wasn't at work, now this caught me off guard because I don't usually carry on conversations with girls, I said "i don't know.. watching tv" she smiled and I walked away. I opened the door to go back to my area and she walked passed me said "thanks" for opening the door. She then asked me if I played games and I said yes and she asked what kind and I told her and she continued the conversation with if I played computer games. I was so shocked she wanted to talk to me I didn't know what to say so I named a random game, she gave me a thumbs down followed by a tongue spitting motion but laugh and said just kidding and walk away. He kept saying "sorry" and that he wanted to be alone. He wanted to figure his life out. The funny thing is, I have been so independent and he was already in another relationship right afterwards. I tried to do everything I could and nothing worked. I don't ever talk to him, but just when things get better, he will randomly text me. It makes me so sad to see him in the hallways and he treats me like a stranger. I did nothing wrong, he said it was just him. I still feel this awful pain and cry most nights for the last seven months. He was my first love and it is still too hard for me to picture myself with anyone else. He started talking to this girl in my grade and now they are dating and she hates me and I have no idea why? We had so many memories and they just hurt so much, I try to look nice every day in school so he will notice me but never does :( I have watched videos and looked up stuff on how to get over him and talked to friends and family but nothing works.. We always knew we would be going to prom if we were still together or friends, but now my mom just told be that I can't go unless I get my Spanish grade up to a B. I have been studying hard and now am just two points away from a B. I still don't know if it is good enough for her. So when I told my boyfriend this, he was understanding and tried helping out. (He takes French so he wasn't really helping, but he still tried!) Now it's getting closer to prom and he wants to take another girl...and this girl happens to like him. He keeps on saying "Just as friends" But the thing is, she is in my grade. It's not like she is in his grade or a senior and doesn't want to go alone. I would understand if he wanted to take a friend of his in his grade that wanted to go but she can't go unless and upper classman asks her. I always see her flirting with him, it doesn't bother me for the most part but I just don't like the whole situation. There will be a lot of grinding and I don't want another girl dancing with him. I was telling him how I think we needed some time apart because I felt a little crowded (I was going through something at the time) And he asked how long do I think I'm gonna need and I said "I don't know. And I guess he could sense something so he went on telling me how I've been acting distance towards him and that he can tell that he's been kind of smothering me for some time and he felt like I didn't want to be with him anymore. At that time I was acting kind of different and it was only because I needed some me time. To find myself, I guess. Then he said something that bought me to tears; "If you don't want to be with me you don't have to. Just tell me and I promise I'll leave you alone, but I'll always love you and you'll always have my heart." then he kissed me and told me that he loved me then walked away. I started crying because I felt bad and I really didn't want to lose him I felt like instead of breaking up with him I should have just opened up and talked to him because I knew he'd be there for me. I feel like a terrible girlfriend. Yes, we were in love. I loved him more than I loved my friends. He was everything to me. He was my world. I cried all day and all night when I let him go. I'm in the crowd facing the choir and the preacher. Everyone's eyes are suppose to be on the preacher. I look and sometimes we will make eye contact. I usually look away as soon as we do but minutes later our eyes will meet again. She looks up from her hymnal book sometimes and our eyes meet. She was leaving her car to go inside the church while I was going to my car and we both looked at each other for a few seconds then looked away. We were 6 cars away from each other. We have these group meetings. Groups are classified by age. She use to be the leader of my age group till she hit 18. I never attended the meetings. She dropped by at the end of the meeting. As I exited I walked past her and she said bye. I think she's just curious about me. I don't socialize at all. Her and I would make a lot more eye contact if I didn't try to avoid it all the time. |

It's happening right now again. I liked this specific girl in school... Was scared to talk to her, we ended up being close at a party, and now she collected my number 48hrs back and we've been chatting all through since then. But I don't see the 'out of my league' girl I thought she was, and I'm not sure if I would like to date her anymore. I can't remember why I liked her in the first place. |

He is actually a grade older than me but he was in my chorus class in the fourth grade because in elementary the fourth and fifth grade chorus were combined. Anyways the school year is almost over and I won't be able to see him for a year because he is going to high school. But anyways this year the mixed chorus classes were combined and he is in the other class, but we are combined , like we sing the same songs and perform together. but we always have morning chorus rehearsals so that is how I have been forming a crush on him. He is so nice and really cute. He also can sing, and he is just so amazing. I know that he has an instagram, its private though, I would follow him but the thing is he doesn't know who I am. I also see him when we wait in the car rider area but we are usually standing on opposite sides.Also I dont really know or talk to any of his friends maybe just two or three of them but thats probably it. I don't really talk to him and i will see him soon for an entire day because my chorus class is going on a field trip, but I just want him to notice me. I have had this crush on him since the beginning of the year. I know that he knows my face but probably not my name. A lot of girls like me but I just can't be bothered. When I was younger I was poor and fat, and girls never liked me and were always mean to me, I still have that residual hatred towards them, and would rather burn my money than share it with any of those beasts. |
