He let me see it and when I compared it to mine I saw that my one was bad. So I used his ideas and created a fresh draft. The teacher said it was very good. Yesterday he asked to see it and I showed it to him. Upon seeing it he got very angry at me and said that I copied him. He said that I was a leech. I was very hurt by his words. He now deleted me off Facebook and told me to get lost. I don't want our friendship to end over this. Please help, what should I do?! |

So, at the beginning of the school year, a friend of a friend asked me to come join her at her table of buddies. I accepted and she introduced me. One of her friends who is a guy made a comment saying, "She looks like she'd take all the make-up in the house." I was offended because my first interpretation was that he thought I was wearing too much make-up, this was the 'friend of a friends' voiced thought too as she said, " Are you saying she's wearing too much make-up? However, I haven't worn anything other than eye shadow and mascara in the past 3 years. Even then, I rarely wear anything (make-up) at all and wasn't wearing any that day. Could it mean that I don't wear enough? That could be the case because I suffer from dermatillomania (skin picking disorder unaffected by drugs or hallucinations); however, that doesn't seem to make sense either because why would someone who doesn't wear make-up take all of it? I really want to make new friends that are mature but I'm so introverted and socially awkward that it's really hard. I recently got okayed to go to NYC to preform and then I told her and my other friend (B) in a group chat and B was excited about it, however, A never responded. I asked her about it the next day and she said her parents began to take away her phone at night. I soon found out that B was going to be able to go as well (even though she wasn't on the team when we got accepted) so she told A and I and A was happy for her (she was never happy for me) and I was just in a fight with my mom, I was fuming so I blew up on her. A defended her (she never defends me) and I later said I was sorry and we were all fine. A few days after I called B to see if she wanted to hang out (she made plans with A secretly but said yes). Later that night, I asked if I could use B's phone and when I unlocked it, it opened to her conversation with A and it was about me. Naturally, I read it and much to my dismay, A said some horrible things about me (B tried to defend me a bit but failed miserably). I confronted them and as I was explaining why I was so upset, A interrupted, multiple times. To add on to this, she invited her friend (C) to go on a short trip with her and her family (she's never invited me there and they go a lot), and she recently said that the thing I'm best at is annoying people as I was annoying her (no one has ever called me annoying before), and she calls C as well as B her "sisters". We have been close for a while now. She's helped me get through a lot of pain from my past where I was sleeping around and drinking on a regular basis and now I've stopped However, sometimes she can say or do things which make me question whether she is genuine to me. Like for instance, when I told her that I slept with guys for the attention, she rolled her eyes but I could tell she wanted to help me. Some other times she will say to me 'you have so many nice clothes, have you ever thought about selling some of them?' When I first met her, she would say 'I'm so jealous' about my handwriting and my clothes, which I think is harmless to say, but I tell her I'm meeting my sister she will say 'so jealous' However, there are moments when I think that she isn't being a genuine friend, particularly when she insults me in front of others. The other day she said to me in a group of about 5 others, 'your so lanky!' And I cant tell whether she's saying it in a nice way or not. Sometimes she will sarcastically humiliate me in a group and then say 'I'm only joking' and I kinda feel bad about what I say. Other times she will compliment me in the group. When I'm talking to her and her friends, sometimes my friend will look at the other girl and roll her eyes Thing is, I really like her as a friend but sometimes she will make me feel bad, especially in public. I m involved in a huge group of friends, and we frequently have parties and get-togethers. A lot of those parties somehow end up panning down to truth or dare (I know, sounds childish and it probably is). And these people are completely comfortable making out with every single person in the circle with no problem and no worry in the world. When it comes to me, I always refuse to play and they almost get mad at me because of it — "lighten up", "loosen up", "why is it such a big deal", etc. They make me feel like something is really wrong with me. I guess I just feel like I don t think it s fun to kiss someone when there s no feelings there, especially if I m kissing someone I might have a crush on and then they don t care about it at all or kiss someone else for a dare two seconds later. Or that I just want it to be real and not set up by Truth or Dare. But lately, it seems like I m the only one who s bothered by this and I feel like there s something wrong with me. Is there any way I can get over these feelings so I can have fun the way they want me to? |

I feel as if I'm his friend when he needed a friend. If I as him to do something or go somewhere he doesn't go. Hanging out isn't something he likes to do, but he will do it with other people. When we are apart I can message him on facebook, but I never hear a response from him. I won't say never, but it's very vague conversations. Yet, he's not like that with anyone else on facebook. He just ignores me, but in public he is completely different. I had a hard time making friends when I was younger cause we constantly moved around so I didn't make many. Should I just hang up ties? I try to talk to him about it, but the conversation never gets far. Am I just a "side dish"? |

Posted: 14 Mar 2015 01:26 PM PDT My best friend Amy is turning 15 and thought it would be great to through her a surprise party since shes had a rough year and he actual birthday is over spring break, when veither of her 2 friends are going to be here. i decied it to be small only inviting 6 people but heres where it gets wrong. i texted our friend Sam what hes doing the day this is planned for and asked if he wants to come and he said yes. i then checked my calender and found out ITS THE SAME DAY AS HIS BIRTHDAY!!!. I was talking to both our friend Rich and Rich said he was talking to Sam and they said nothing about sams birthday but that he could tell that sam thinks we forgot his birthday. i feel so horrible i dont know what to do. I was thinking, since its right after school and everyone eles is going to my house to decorate it i could ask sam to stay after school and help delay Amy from leaving and then make it a surprise (kinda) Party for both of them. Should i put both there names on the cake? Or get 2 cakes? She isn't really "uncomfortable with her appearance", she knows she is a pretty girl but isn't overally confident. Whenever I try to take a nice picture with her, I'll say "Hey, do you wanna take a selfie?" Or "If I ask that lady to take a pic of us will you come stand over here?" She will always say no. Once or twice I just pull the camera out (like when we are in front of mirrors) and pose but she wont even smile. Its better than nothing but I just don't get why she wont take a nice picture with me. Even when we went to an Ariana Grande concert tkgether, she still refused to take a picture. She takes selfies on Instagram and pictures with her other friends so if anyone has any ideas why she dowsnt want to take a picture with me, leave your ideas. Posted: 14 Mar 2015 01:10 PM PDT My company is being taken over by another company and they notified us that our department was being eliminated. This will put 11 women out of work. The new company offered us a new position with higher pay if we complete a training course. They found an employee, Bob to give us this training at no cost to us. We take 4 hours of training each Saturday morning. Bob is 25, single and a great looking guy and a great guy to give us his time to train us. He is not getting paid to do this training. All 11 of us gals have called him after work or after class to ask for help and he is always available to help us when we need help. We all thought the least we could do to repay his kindness was to take him to lunch after class. When I told my husband about this he had a fit. He said he did not want his wife taking a single guy to lunch. When I pointed out to him that there would be 10 other women at the lunch AND he could come if he wanted to it did not solve his problem. Gals, what do you think. Is my husband being unreasonable? All of the other women's husbands or boyfriends don't have a problem with this. In fact they are grateful to Bob for saving our jobs. I will really look ungrateful for all of Bob's help if I don't go. What should I do? |
| Question: My roommate threw up on my stuff and on the carpet....? Posted: 14 Mar 2015 12:57 PM PDT She is 25, and this is the second time she has thrown up in the middle of the night. The first time my other roommate and I played nurse and were overly nice about it: we stayed up till 5 am with her, I ran to go get new trash bags at and took her puke down the hall 2-3 times to the trash shoot. We didn't make her feel embarrassed the next day and tried to forget about it. She claimed her drink was spiked and that's why she got so drunk. But last night i woke up to the sound of her puking at 2:30 am. The puke went everywhere- into two trashcans without liners, on the carpeted floor, on me and my other roomates bath towels, and i think even on my cloth lugage. She cleaned out the trashcans, and told us she would wash our towels in the morning. But there's a stain on our carpet and she never appologized or even confessed to throwing up on my suitcase. It would be really hard to clean both of these. I am so annoyed and dont know what to do. She is old enough to know better and this is the second time she threw up in the room while I was sleeping. |

And the other day she dropped by unexpectedly to give me an invite to something that has to do with my work. Someone else answered the door, but then I heard her tell the person that she wanted to say Hi to me and so I went to the door and she told me about the event and asked how I was doing since she hadn't seen me in awhile and then she gave me a hug when she left. Then on the day before the event took place I asked her if she would be there but she said she wouldn't. So I replied to her text and said "Oh. Well it was good seeing you the other day. I missed you. We should hang out sometime!" and other nonsense. And she only replied to the nonsense part of the text! She didn't a thing about missing me too and hanging out sometime! What the heck?! Why would she go to the trouble of coming over to personally give me something instead of just texting me if she's fake and actually doesn't like me?! Is she fake?! We're part of the main cast along with 4 other guys, (who are pretty "popular") and whenever he would take a "group" photo, he would only take it when i'm not there. This has happened twice. I didn't even know until he posted it on his snap story. He did this again on another photo he posted on instagram. Also, she acts like she's way better than me and way more popular even though we hang out with the same people. And we haven't hung out outside of school since before winter break, so whenever I try to ask her to come over or something like that, she completely blows me off and makes up this whole ridiculous story about why she can't go. But, then when I start asking question about why, she gets like really mad at me and says things like "I guess I can't go then✋" like as if it's a privilege for me. And I just get so annoyed with her and I really want to tell her how I feel, but I'm afraid of how she'll react. And I really don't want to lose her as a friend. What do I do? |

At dinner, she asked why I was following her friends girlfriend who lives in another county. To find that out, she had scrolled through who I'm following (about 800 or so) and found her. Then she accused me of being "creepy" and "scrolling through people's followers" which is exactly what she's just done. This is completely the truth: when I follow people, its because they followed me first (excluding celebrities). So I definitely did not scroll through her friends followers and add people, but she's insisting that I did. She also comments on all my photos, things like "pole dancing won't make u a better person" (it was a tree by the way) and "eyeliner off point". I'm nearly 16, she's nearly 18. She's lazy, aggressive, domineering and patronising. I've now blocked her. How do I tell her to stop stalking me online? |
