My mom let us stay at a friend's house. When his wife left with my 2 sisters. It was just me and him. I was a bit overweight back then and he said he could help me lose weight. He said he would teach me boxing and that I shouldn't tell me parents about it. He invited me to his house every now and then after school. One day he made me lay my head on his lap. He told me to touch his "penis" outside of his clothes. He told me to do it harder. When I lifted my head up he said if I felt uncomfortable. I said I didn't want to touch him like that. After that I moved away and I never told anyone. I'm now 17 years old. But, recently it's been bothering me a lot. I've been having flashbacks and end up crying late at night. We thought we could do it and raise our child instead of having an abortion, but it was obviously harder than we expected it to be, and we gave her up for adoption. It's been 3 years and and the couple who adopted her tried to call me last week but I guess I didn't hear my phone, so they called my boyfriend and asked if we wanted to meet our daughter and maybe start seeing her again. I was kind of in shock and didn't know what to say and so was he so we said we'd think about it. Yesterday he said that he wants to do it and he wants to see her again, but I still don't know what to do. I want to do what's best and I'm not sure if walking in and out of her life is a good idea, but obviously I DO really want to see her... I just didn't think that would even be aloud. So this is the last week of school we have until spring break. I was planning to give one of my Apple devices (an iPad) to my boyfriend to let him borrow it (WERE BOTH 14 yrs old) so me and him can talk during spring break. He got his tablet taken away forever because he got grounded, and he has no other device to use except for his sisters tablet and phone (he has 3 younger siblings and one twin brother). I mean, he can use his sisters device but only when she lets him use it. His parents are okay with electronics, but his dad has a strict policy when he'll only let the kids on their devices for 2 hours. My boyfriends said he's ok with it, but it's a greater risk that something might happen to the iPad (but I fully trust him). The only reason I want to do this is so me and him can communicate when we're out of school, instead of him having to use his sisters if he wanted to contact me. I found out my father was cheating, and haven't told my mom yet and the rules in the house are driving me nuts. Also, I'm technically the house maid most of the time and I have college work to have all the time. There's also too many people in the house, and that makes everything too stressful. My grandfather is a creep who loves to feel on me now and then, even as to asking me a kiss one time on the lips because I had some issues with my mom.Anyway, I don't want to live there anymore and I'm planning on moving into my boyfriend's house with his mother, who by the way treat me like one of them, like a princess. I always feel welcome there, and his mom loves me more than anything. I planned on living there until I'm able to fully move out on my own. I was thinking of leaving a long letter, explaining why I'm leaving the house because I know they'll never let me leave if I tell them face to face. Now that you guys know the backstory, what do I need in order to move out? I mostly mean legal documents, and whatnot. I don't have a job, but I'm getting one really soon. Posted: 24 Mar 2015 12:52 PM PDT i have two younger siblings im 16, my younger brothers 14, and younger sister is 13. there is 16 months difference between my two younger siblings. sadly, my sister, is stronger than my younger brother, she can beat him at arm wrestling, mercy, pretty much all sports, and even fights now, and i dont know if its just fine that shes stronger, as shes really sporty, and hes more of nerdy gamer. or if i should like try and help man up, and get stronger? like is it acceptable, and just fine, or should i try to get him in a gym/starting to work out a little? in his defence though his little sister is pretty strong for 13 year old girl, she looks skinny. but if she flexes her arms they go from skinny weedy, to like popping from how much biceps pops out its so weird lol. and i do find it small struggle to beat her in arm wrestling, but at least i can do it. so what should i do? leave it? make him work out? also if there in a fight, i wasn't sure if i should split it up or not? or if its good for him to make him toughen up? |

I gave my life totally to God and Im proud to be clean. I really want to go this year, because it was such an amazing experience the years before. I love the people there like family. My mom thinks it's a bit too far, but I think it's worth the distance. I have $500 saved for it. And that's all I need. She's getting more chill about it, saying it may be a definite possibility. How do I completely convince her to let me? She's got friends there, too, in case of emergency. |

This was met with a lot of hesitance then, but still was "okay" according to my immediate and extend family's views because it was in-state. Now that I'm moving to one of the largest cities in the country for a job/life change, my whole family is having a heart attack essentially. It's in the same region, so visiting won't be a problem. What I'm having a hell of a time dealing with is the unexposed, small town mindset. It really is a form of ignorance. And with Easter coming up, I know I'm going to be one of the focuses of attention (because older family members always want to live vicariously through their grandchildren) and I don't feel comfortable really talking about my decision aside from "it's to take a job". The reason for this is because we are on such different wavelengths in terms of how we see the world. It's just something I can't see eye-to-eye with them on, but I don't want to be rude and keep trying to deflect the conversation outwards to someone else. How should I deal with this? It's very hard for me "to come home" sometimes with such a different view on the world and with this move it causes tension in my family There is also a lot of gossip occurring behind my back that I don't appreciate, which is another reason I feel inclined to be vague about it and move on to a different topic I know it sounds rude to say "ignorant", maybe "naive" is better. But obviously this isn't something I'd say to them. I just know there's a lot of skepticism and hesitancy in my family. I plan to talk about it a bit, but I know they're going to go on and on about it and I'm unsure of how to keep it short without being rude. Posted: 24 Mar 2015 10:54 AM PDT my bigger sister acts insane when she get in trouble. whenever she fights with anyone; even if she were wrong, she starts punching everything around her and screaming to win everyone and get things her way. for example, this morning she cut my little brother's hair, my mom told her quietly " i would've appreciated it if you asked me first", then she told her that i am his big sister and bla bla bla, and when no one stood on her side, she started making a scene and punching everything around her and threatening mama that she will attempt suicide and screaming sooo loud and puniching herself(not even harmful punches), and made everyone shout at my mom, and then when we went into the car she started shouting at everyone who spoke. now how do i know she is faking all this? when she loses her temper she is pretty aware of her actions because she has never came forward to punch anyone, or try to kill the person infront of her because she will end up in a mental hospital. instead, she harms herself because its much easier and again if she was unconscious, she wouldn't threaten to commit suicide, instead she will. And this morning when the scene happened, my cousin was over our house, and she shouted at everyone except for her, so she is aware of whom she is talking to. ps; my mom knows she is faking all of this cuz her sister used to do the same, but all others dont and let things go how every she wants. |

My mom KEEPS over complicating everything now! First, she invited my grandmother, but then decided she didn't want to take care of her during the entire trip. Then, she invited my aunt, then decided she wanted alone time on this vacation. She stayed really happy with that idea for a long while, even buying old movies that she could watch in the room while she relaxes. And now she wants to bring my dad. My father and I do not get along. All we do is fight because he is constantly insulting me and putting me down, and I fight back. He absolutely hates leaving the state for more than a day, and we will be gone for a week. He is almost always grouchy and angry at the world and I just hate being around him. This is also my friends first time going to Disney. She has had a very difficult 4 years and I wanted this to be perfect. I planned and paid for half of the trip. Now I don't want to go at all. I hope you die!" I didn't mean to say it, it just came out. We fight a lot, not necesarily all the time, but apparently enough where i would wish her to die, and honestly, i didnt feel bad or worried that i said it. She's mean to me a lot, and when i was younger, i used to think because if her, I'd be better off dead... We get along about ½ the time and the other ½ we're fighting. My dad doesn't care it so anything about it, even when she physically hurts me, and my Mom hates it but does nothing about it except yells "alright enough" and that's it. Why do you think we're like this? 2. my mom sister and i will be walking and it'll be them and then me by my self. Try to walk with them but then they push me out so I'm behind them or something gets in the way where i have to move and then I'm by myself again. I've told my mom about it and she says, oh im sorry. And then let's me walk with them for only a few minutes and then it happens again. It makes me really sad and upset because i feel like they don't care enough to even try letting me walk with them. He turns out to be a "jerk" and I peacefully said, "sorry I'm not interested" The mutual friend went furious that I said no, because according to her, he is just "perfect"...too much drama, didn't want to deal with it and I destined myself from her. NOW, a good friend of mine who is also "best friend" with them, seems to call me everytime her friend is in town (the woman) and tells me how my ex wife had a "child"...oh she went to "dinner" with them, blah blah blah I'm not really interested and I just pretend that I don't care and I change the subject. Why would a female do that? She is a nice girl, but sometimes I feel that she is looking for a "reaction" from me to see how I will react if she keeps talking about them. I normally have NO REACTION and say "oh good for them" and I change the subject. My sister told me to be careful of her because she might not be the "good" person she claims to be. Every year we would have a competition and so a week before that we have a dress rehearsal (you get thrown out if you don't make it). So 3 yrs ago when I was a freshman, I took the risk and went. It's always on a Monday and my mom is off from work. So my step-dad kept calling me and told me to go out to head home because my mom was suspicious. I pestered to stay so he just drove off without me. When I ran outside he was gone and I started to cry because I was so scared... A few mins later a senior fr the club ran out and told me he begged to get us excused and drove me home. When I got home, my step-dad yelled at me so much for the first time & this was when my emotional stability was zero. The following year, I managed to strengthen it. Yesterday was dress rehearsal again. My step-dad gave me until 8pm. Backstage, right when we were about go on, I look at the time and it was 7:55. I got my first panic attack and no one literally gave a crap. After we were done (made it in time) and I told the team leader I felt weak and she just walked passed me. I went home and told my sister (closest person to me) and she was just like "oh." I still love my family. I just feel alone and real sad. I'm over self harm already. What do I do now? How should I think? How should I feel? What's your opinion on what happened last night and what would you do? |

So I got up and I went by the stairs and walked down half way to ask my mom if she could make me breakfast, But she wasnt there and I noticed her purse was gone. which means shes gone. So I went up to my room and went on my phone and just to look at social media and ask my sister if know where she went. And while I was doing that I heard a knock at the door. I stayed quiet cuz if its my mom she would've just pulled out her key and come in. And It couldn't be my sisters cuz they're at school. My parents are divorced so my dad never comes arouns so i doubt it was him. I started getting all scared. They were gone though but i was scared. I hate being home alone and I get paranoid that someone's here. and any little noise freaks me out and i stay in my room until my sisters come home from school. idk what to do. help please. |

But my mother hates all of the in laws except my brothers in laws because his in laws are from our hometown. The thing is my Mother in law is a really sweet woman, I've known her for 8 years and she has been genuine the entire time. Encouraging me and my husband, teaching me, inviting us to all events and basically treating me like her daughter. She also makes efforts to get to know my Mom but my mother doesn't do the same. My mom acts bitter and angry. My Mom even made a very inappropriate comment implying that my Dad was "looking at my Mother in law" when her and my sister in laws came to visit our hometown. It was weird because all my Dad was doing was talking to her. I don't know if my Dad has cheated on my Mom or what but its very awkward for myself. My Mom is a minister and pastor, has her Masters, and is currently getting her Doctorate which is great but she throws it in peoples faces ALOT and she kinda looks down on people, including my Mother in law because she doesn't have any of those things. I've gotten to the point where I would prefer to be around my mother in law :-( which I hate because I feel like I'm betraying my mother. I live 2 hours from my hometown, and about 30 minutes from my mother in law. Do I just continue to use distance to not go home often? What do I do? |
| Question: Where can I get help? Posted: 24 Mar 2015 09:12 AM PDT A lot of crappy stuff has been happening to me recently. My dad and stepmom have been arguing a lot (on their anniversary he threw their cake at her). And my actual mom expects way to much of me educationally. If she learns of anyone my age doing schoolwork more difficult than what I'm doing, she raises my schoolwork to that level, so I have the hardest level of work in every class. On top of that she also refuses to speak to me or let me have any sort of enjoyment if I get behind in school - saying things like "God made you to be better than everyone else," or "You wouldn't want anyone else to be better than you." These types of things truly upset me because she always makes a big deal about how prideful I am and then uses it to provoke me. Of course I also deal with normal teen problems like dating and acne, but these don't bother me as much. So in conclusion does anyone have advice on what to do or where to get advice (my mom won't let me go to a psychologist but my dad might). Thank you. |

They couldn't stand my husband who has OCD and is a clean freak and always cleaning stuff and the mess they created. She never liked my husband nor his family. Then one day my mom picked up the fight and had a heated argument with my husband where she abused my husband, called my siblings and booked her flights and left me abandoned (just after two days I was discharged from hospital). My husband and I were shocked with the type of move they have done. We both needed atleast some moral support especially when we didn't know that our baby was colic and he was crying day and night. I'm very disheartened. DH tries to keep me happy, but I dream my parents. My mother expects my husband to appologise. My husband won't appologise coz he never started any argument. It was my mom. She abused. He only replied when she started. My mom says that I'm nothing for her now as I didn't support her. My husband asks me to break all relations with her as she is a manipulative lady. I am very angry and upset with her for abandoning me when I needed her the lost. She never thought of me and left me. If she never visited me, I would have coped up with the crying baby and managed somehow. But coz in my mind I was like my mom is here to morally support me, I am more shaken and sad with what had happened. My siblings blame my husband and me for not keeping my parents properly. Will time heal this relationship? Is there any future?! |

I think she expects to stay with us while she is visiting, as does my husband. She plans on staying for 2 weeks. I have young children and she is not quiet and stays up all night and sleeps during the day. She has always put me down and is always trying to start an argument with me. The first time I met her all she did was insult me and compare me to my husbands ex wife. I really feel uncomfortable with her staying with us. We have a fairly small house with 4 people already living here and do not have a guest bedroom so she would need to sleep on the sofa and she doesn't care if she leaves a mess throughout the house. Am I being unreasonable for not wanting her to stay with us? How should I handle this? |

Mostly The other day I was going into my choir director's office after school to ask some questions. Her office door was closed.I heard her say my brother's name. I leaned in close to hear what she was saying. She was talking to him over the phone. They were saying very dirty things to each other. They're going to spend the weekend together. She talked about how she's going to tie him up and do a lot of bad things to him. If I said some of the things she was saying to him in class she would give me many detentions. I find it somewhat hypocritical that she can say those things but no one else can. It actually bothers me a lot. What bothers me even more is she's saying it to my brother. I used to think they were both clean people, but not anymore. It actually bothers me because I've looked up to both of them. Why do they tell me to do and act one way when they don't do the same? Why are they so dirty when they tell me not to be? I can't tell anyone because I shouldn't have eavesdropped, but I feel bothered I'm 14. My brother is 25 and my choir director is 23. |

She would hit me and pull my hair and not let me change clothes for days on end. I dont bruise easy at all either so I would hardly have marks. She cut off all comunication to my friends for me too. I cant have a phone ( even if I pay for it) She blocked my ipod from the wifi. She doesn't let me hangout with friends, or get a job, she took me out of dance, and now she is homeschooling me. She tells my five younger siblngs that I'm a whore and a monster and not to be my friend or go near me or else I'll hurt them. WTF?? She was hitting me over and over one day when I was laying on the floor so I kicked my legs out and hit her hand and broke her thumb and she called the police and said I attacked her and I got assault charges. I feel so trapped and I really don't know what to do :,( I'm only 16. As a punishment for giving her attitude or not obeying her guidelines I get locked out of my room and they take my deodorant, makeup, and shampoo, and clothes. I told dyfys all of this and they said sorry we cant tell your mom how to parent we can only get you help. Now I am being sent do a drug and alcohol rehab and I don't even do drugs or drink. I've never even touched weed. But if I dont go to that then my mom is sending me to a residential bed :,,,( I really just want to give up I hate it here so much. |

He's 37, very attractive and always dresses in style. At some point because of an incident we went for a dinner out and then started dating and had sex. I'd like to add here that it's definitely my fault for accepting an expensive Cartier watch as a gift (for my bday) but yea the most expensive watch I've ever bought was like 400$.. | Posted: 24 Mar 2015 06:19 AM PDT I recently started drinking socially. And by socially, I mean when im out with friends or partying and I know when to stop. I have never once been wasted or drunk. Not to mention, I never drank underage. I waited until I was 21. Every time I order a drink at a restaurant, I'm accused of being an alcoholic. Just yesterday, I bought myself an ecig to help with my anxiety. It has no nicotine in it. It's all water vapor. My dad caught me using it and flipped out and accused me of turning into a smoker and thinks i'm gonna end up in the street as a drug addict, and accused the people I hang out with of "corrupting" me. I'm 21 years old and because I have a mental disability, my parents think I have to constantly be taken care of and looked out for. I don't know how to make them understand that I'm more than old enough to make my own decisions in life and I can't be an adult if they won't allow me to be. How can I make them understand? @Ashlee I can't move out with not enough money, and I can't drive due to my disability. @bentley f It's a rare nonverbal learning disability. |
