Question: Going to a concert alone? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 04:28 PM PDT I'm a huge fan of the Goo Goo Dolls and I really want to go to one of their concerts in the summer. However, none of my friends are fans of them so no one is willing to go with me. I've never been to a concert without any friends so I'm not really sure how it would feel to go alone. Would it be awkward and embarrassing to go to a concert alone? |

Question: How to deal with having no friends? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 03:57 PM PDT I'm a very sociable person, I get along with everyone in general and I'm not someone people dislike, but I have no friends.I'm not close enough with anyone to invite them to go see a movie, to eat together sometime, when I'm invited to things it's usually group events, I'm the person that when I say I "can't come to the party" I only get a "oh, next time then!" instead of the the "oh, let's rescheduled, I really want you there!".I have the feeling I can't connect with anyone. If I feel lonely I have no one to call, as I'm not close enough with anyone to just ask them for a shoulder to cry on.I have a great girlfriend, I know she loves me but whenever she is not around I'm alone. I'm also worried because I feel jealous whenever her friends invite her out or just to go to their place to chill, and I hate it. I want to be happy for her, that she has great people in her life but I just get sad every time she is out as it just reminds me of how lonely I am.And I can't talk to her, not only she would feel guilty for going out with her friends which she definitely shouldn't, but I'm scared she would pity me and the last thing I want is someone's pity. This is getting worse lately and I can feel myself starting to try too hard to connect with people and I'm sure my desperation will start to become noticeable. How can I deal with this? I'm 20, everyone around me seems to have already met their best friends, have a group and I'm here on my own and I fear so much that I will end up alone |
Question: Advice on how to confess to a lie!!? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 03:28 PM PDT i ve been lying to my online friends about my age, and i dont know how to come out to them about it. they think im 15, but im really 13. this has been bothering me for such a long time, and ive been keeping it up for almost two years ago now and its so stressful. im scared that if i tell them, they ll tell everyone they know, and everyone will hate me. im scared they ll try "exposing me" and leak my information because they ll be so upset.. i feel so much guilt for caring on this lie and its starting to take a toll on me. |

Question: How to deal with a friend who invites themselves to things??? Please Answer? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 01:53 PM PDT Okay so I have this friend that I have known since middle school (we'll call him Josh) Well the thing is (i'm gonna sound mean here) I have kind of outgrown him and moved on in my life with new friends, new experiences, etc. He hasn't. He has sort of been stuck in the same world since middle school and hasn't really grown out of all that. When we hang out it's kinda stale because i'm into new adventures and he wants to do the same stuff we did when we were 14. Anyhow just last week we were hanging out and I stupidly mentioned that I was bringing my best friend (We'll call her Taylor) with me to Galaxy's Edge (the new Star Wars expansion at Disneyland). I didn't think anything of it and I have been planning my trip with my best friend and her girlfriend for over a week now. Well I just got a text from Josh that he is coming with me to Disney even though I NEVER invited him. I can't afford to bring him and I don't have the room for him to come. What kinda pisses me off is I know he invited himself to this event because he felt jealous of Taylor and I but he does all manner of stuff with a friend of his (we'll call him Dylan) that he never invites me too because "It's Dylan and our thing man sorry". So I kinda don't really know what to say. I mean I can't tell him he isn't allowed in the entire state of California or at Disneyland so I don't really know what to do. I've just resorted to not telling him the date we're going and the hotel we're staying at. |

Posted: 04 Jun 2019 12:49 PM PDT For a walking class at my school we went over to this playground in town. And this girl that I met this semester in the class, we talk and been friends since the beginning of the semester. She's a good friend but sometimes she can be a sensitive person. Anyways, both of us were running towards the swing set and she tripped and fell, about 5ft away from the swings, but I continued running. I thought she was just gonna get up and join me but instead she got up and ran towards the teacher. Btw she wasn't hurt or anything. Later I asked her why she didn't join me and she said it was because I didn't stop when she fell, and then walked away upset. I didn't think it'd be a big deal to stop and wait for her considering that it wasn't that far away from where we were going. Now she refuses to talk to me and avoids me. Was I in the wrong? What should I do? I'm a girl btw |
Question: Is it childish for my friend to be going through a life/childish phase at her age? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 12:25 PM PDT My friend is 28 years old and about a few months ago moved here to the US for grad school from Malaysia. Anyways, she use to be very clean cut looking and regular. But lately she has dyed her hair all blue and has been more carefree in life. It's almost as if she is trying to re-live her teens years again now at age 28. |
Question: Why would a girl call me "ugly asf"? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 12:23 PM PDT I am a girl as well not a guy. she gossips ALOT behind my back nd she back talks sh*t about me all behind my back just because I liked something she didn't. she started online bullying me just because I posted something she wasn't interested in. she was like 'You ARE UGLY ASF AND U R irrelevant AND ALL MY FRIENDS ARE ALWAYS TALK SH*t ABOUT YOU" I am really insecure about my looks so I told her" how come people call me pretty" and she was like "Lol who is lying to you" she was cyberbullying me for 16 minutes straight I had enough and I blocked her. I am just curious why is she doing this? |
Question: What should I do about colleague? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 11:17 AM PDT I was recently asked to check over the work of a colleague to ensure everything was done correctly, I found some mistakes which have now led to the colleague being put onto a recovery plan. This colleague is ordinarily excellent and doesn't make mistakes (that I know of), but I am very thorough when I check others work which is why I think I was asked to do it. This colleague is now obviously devastated at what's happened and I feel so guilty about it. What should/can I do? |

Question: Just something you got to deal with? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 10:06 AM PDT If you have a friend that is late often, you know kind of makes you wait sometimes, and doesn't like waiting you, do you just have to deal with it? Or is it worth not being friends with him anymore. |
Posted: 04 Jun 2019 09:36 AM PDT This female friend is actually my ex girlfriend, but we remained friends after breaking up due to me leaving for college, so i know her well. She's really 17, but states she is 18 in her dating profile, Coffee Meets Bagel, and she won't be graduating high school until next year! She's super attractive and can get any guy, but she tells me she is tired of immature guys around her age, and wants to date someone more mature and cultured. She tells me the older guys, usually in late 20s and sometimes in 30s or 40s, are well educated in good jobs and having college and advanced college degrees, and provide much more stimulating conversations and plan much better dates such as taking her to ballets and plays, proper sit down restaurants (that guys our age can't afford). She tells me she always meets in public setting, never goes over their places or gets in their cars, and carries pepper spray. She tells me I shouldn't worry. I think the older guys are trying to have sex with her and will use their experiences to take advantage of her. I asked if she was using the guys to pay for meals and entertainments because some of the dates are pricey by our standards, but she said no, and that some of the dates have been lowkey coffee dates. I also find it creepy the guys would pursue a girl so much younger and still in high school |
Question: Excuse for my friend. Please help??????? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 08:48 AM PDT So i have a close friend named kyle, and we have been friends 3 years. Please help???? 1 week ago i told them i would goo soo they could stop asking. But he just sent me a text asking if im actually going |
Question: Do you think this guy would have sex with me again? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 08:16 AM PDT I had sex with this guy once and I told this guy that I like how he touched me and that he was really gentle. And he said he's usually not but that he only did it because it was my first time. I also asked him if he liked it and he said he enjoyed it very much. |

Posted: 04 Jun 2019 07:24 AM PDT So me and my ex best friend work together and we were friends for 3 years. 4th of july of 2018 we got into a fight and we still dont speak to this day unless its work related. So she keeps trying to get under my skin. Shes creating drama in the workplace with me by trying to get people to side with her. Making group chats with the coworkers trying to exclude me. Mind u she is 27 and she acts like a little girl. We work in the kitchen and she does part time cooking and she is supposed to prep for me the day before and she doesnt prep for me just to piss me off. I do have a temper ill admit that. But i was hanging out with her best friend, she is good friends with me as well. We went out to eat and she kept texting her and sending her snaps while we are out. I dont know what to do because she is mixing personal with work and ive had enough of this nonsense. Ive been trying to ignore it but i know once i retaliate she gonna go cry victim to the boss, which she does all the time. Thanks |
Question: Is George Nader a friend of donald’s other friends Jeffrey Epstein and Alan Dershowitz? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 07:20 AM PDT |
Posted: 04 Jun 2019 05:04 AM PDT I get made fun of and bullied in school because people find me weird.I did meet a friend who told me that im indeed weird and i will find people who make fun of me wherever i go....that stuck and it keeps bothering me. I joined a gym a month ago. I noticed that the instructors pay too much of attention to me. It's not that i have a problem with that but i do wonder and worry if the coaches over there are making fun of me and talking behind my back. While working out they are like come on Chris come on Chris pushing me. I have noticed after working out one of the coaches just asked me where i stay and what i do and stuff. The thing they generally never take so interest in any member. The thing ik that weird people stand out so they get noticed and get a lot of attention from others... Especially bullies... So i was just linking my school life to the gym. PS-I dont think im weird and it's subjective at the end. |
Question: What’s this girls problem with me? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 03:34 AM PDT I distanced myself from a friend who was bullying me. She was angry at me, snapping at me and treated me like a doormat. I ignored her messages and she showed up at my social group weeks later. She was glaring at me as if she wanted to kill me that night then she made an indirect comment about friends who stab other friends in the back. Then I felt guilty, so I let her back into my life. Since then, I feel like she has tried to turn me against my group of close friends and isolated me away from them. I was getting on very well with the group. I messaged the group asking if we could all put together a gift for someone's birthday. She never replied but everyone else on the group did and people said it was a great idea. Then, the next day she showed up with an even bigger gift. Then on the day of the birthday I got dressed up and she saw me and said 'you look like a princess, you always have lots of nice dresses' and she kept asking to take photos of me. She stuck to me the entire day and made sure I couldn't speak to anyone else. When I went over to speak to my friend, she was stood behind me glaring at me. The entire night, she was trying to take photos of me on my own. I had a photo with her and she said sarcastically 'you always look so nice in photos you make me look like garbage stood next to you.' Why does she keep trying to take photos of me, and why does she tell me I make her look rubbish? |
Question: Why did he cut me off? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 03:31 AM PDT A year after we graduated, a guy that had a crush on me in high school told me he was too shy to talk to me. We lived in different towns by then and he said it's probably too late but I said it's never too late to start talking. So then we started talking (as friends) online. He told me that we should talk more. Then I got a boyfriend and we talked less often but he still liked my posts. One time he told me he thought he saw me at work and was going to come and talk to me before he realised it was a stranger. The last time we talked, he told me he had dropped out of uni. We hadn't spoken in over a year when I posted on Facebook praising my boyfriend of five years for getting into a prestigious university. After that I noticed that this guy had blocked me. However it could have been before this or just coincidental timing. I don't know. Why could he have blocked me? |
Question: Why do I have sexual desires until now in adulthood? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 01:29 AM PDT Im 21, male and all my youth I tought I was some kind of asexual because even when I liked a girl I didn't want to have sex with her until now that Im 21, I lost so many opportunities because of this and whenever a girl liked me I rejected them because I didn't feel in the mood to be in a relationship or have sex, but now I have a sudden sexual awakening that makes me feel excited but depressed because I can't do such things now, Im virgin and I've never had a gf only romantic friendships and I didnt care until now, why? why now? |
Question: Do you feel bad ghosting a friend? Posted: 04 Jun 2019 12:00 AM PDT I know I ghosted a friend because they abused me I ended up feeling bad a week later. Even though they were the one doing me wrong. |
Question: I have little in common with my friends.? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 10:34 PM PDT Now, me and my friends have little in common, and that kinda makes me feel left out. I've been hanging out with them for about 2 years now. I'm not saying they are bad friends, they are actually really cool and funny. But it kinda sucks when they start to talk about something that I don't know. I usually stay quiet and not bother. My friends are really into Anime and Video Games, so it's really hard to communicate with them. I mean, I'm not really a huge fan of what they like, but I try. Half of the time they don't like what I like, so it's hard. I feel like I'm getting left out and maybe kind of losing them. I know they care for me, but I don't know anymore. |
Question: What are some fun things to do with friends? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 09:20 PM PDT me and my friends have no place to go. and we're not old enough to drive, i'm 14 and they are 14-15. we usually go to the mall but now that's getting boring for some of them. i don't live near a beach and my parents are strict. |
Question: Was this a bad thing to do? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 08:50 PM PDT so i was friends with this girl in my class and we had a good friendship going but then it changed once she started touching me uncomfortably on my leg and telling me she liked liked me even though i did not and still dont feel that way about her i just felt really uncomfortable being around this girl. Also i felt very unhappy about being friends with her and also felt miserable. I also had anxiety because i was afraid that she would use her crush on me to prevent me from liking other girls. By the way i am not a girl i am a guy and when i said other girls i meant as in not just her. Anyways i was afraid about that and also that in the future she would continue to tell me she liked liked me like she would be expecting me to say it back even though i am still and never will be into her that way. I really did at first like being her friend but recently i started to hate being her friend and i told her i didnt want to be friends anymore. I am now afraid that my teacher will find out that we arent friends anymore and try to fix it even though i dont want it to be fixed because i dont want to be this girls friend anymore because she really makes me uncomfortable and unhappy. |
Question: Y r people so mean to others? (myself included)? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 08:48 PM PDT |
Question: Should I feel upset? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 08:47 PM PDT It was my birthday yesterday. None of my friends wished me happy birthday. I don't have a Facebook account, but I reminded them last week twice. I always wish happy birthday to them. I am feeling down because no one said anything about It, and they talked about other topics in the WhatsApp group we have. |
Question: Read description/details please: would this be weird? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 07:48 PM PDT Okay, so I'm a sophomore in high school and my ex boyfriend and I are in relatively the same-ish friend group. We dated in fifth grade lol and then took a break until freshman year and the beginning of our sophomore year. We're okay-friends. Not best friends and we don't hang out, but we'll have progressive discussions, if that makes any sense lol. So he's really into books and he's always on Twitter, Instagram, and FB literally just reviewing books every day. That's kind of his trademark and what everyone knows him for. I kind of want to make a youtube video reviewing a book, but I don't want to come-off as copying him or anything. Being ex's, I don't know if this would be considered weird. I feel like people would kind of be like "huh, she's totally ripping off what her ex does." I just think that book reviewing actually sounds pretty cool. Idk, should I just make the video? Thanks guys! Note: He broke up with me. Idk if that changes the answer lol |

Question: How do i find my friend e-man i have not seen in a while? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 07:12 PM PDT |
Question: Is it rude to block someone just because they are texting you? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 06:58 PM PDT ok so i have this friend and basically we barely even text because her phone got stolen and she can't always communicate unless it's through her moms phone. anyways i was trying to get my friends attention via instagram dm and she kept reading my messages but not replying, so assuming that she's in a sour mood i leave her alone. then i try again 2 hours later, same result, so then i try again 2 hours later, once again same result. so then i just go to bed and decide to try again in the morning only to find that she blocked me. so then i try asking a bunch of people in our friend group if i did anything to upset my friend or if she had told them anything, and all of them were clueless. in the end i find out that the reason i got blocked by her was that she didn't feel like talking to me and i was apparently being annoying, so she blocked me so she wouldn't have to read my messages. is that rude or was i really just being bothersome? |
Posted: 03 Jun 2019 06:31 PM PDT Mom and I have been sharing my truck since her van died in January. Saturday I had the truck and drove my girlfriend and her friend to the river. Her friend had cigarettes and we smoked a few then she put the pack in my truck. Yesterday morning my 14 year old sister and I were in my truck waiting for mom to get in and drive us to church. My sister was riding by the window and pulled down her visor look in the mirror and the pack fell out. When mom got in and found out, she was furious at me but calmed down when I explained someone must have left it in my truck and I do not smoke. She then took it and went back into the house. When we got home mom told me I was grounded because she checked my clothes when she took the cigarettes in the house and smelled smoke on them. I am grounded from doing anything but going to school, church, or work until the end of June for smoking. Mom is also not letting me drive my truck the rest of June and letting my sister choose her seat (which means I will be stuck in the middle) for lying to her. I told my girlfriend about what happened when I saw her at school and she made it clear she wants me to take the blame and make mom think the cigarettes were mine. She says she will make it up to me in July when I am no longer grounded if I don't tell mom the cigarettes belong to her friend and we were all smoking. Wondering if I should take the blame to cover for my girlfriend and her friend or tell mom the truth about what really happened? |
