Question: This situation is bothering me?????? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 05:20 PM PDT My name is Patrick, and at work I I had a crush on this woman named Maria. I'm only 23 and she's already 35 married and has two children. we were really good friends at work and she knew I liked her she was always so nice to me, and I noticed that she would always stare at me. Eventually she quit back in February for some reason, but today me and my best friend Amanda were talking and Amanda told me a secret that Maria was hidding from me. Apperantly Maria began falling for me, she didn't know how but she did. Soo that made her quit her job. And im soo furious with my besfriend becasue this is hurting me sooo much!!!! I was soooooo in love with Maria for 2 years, i know maybe it wouldn't make a difference but im upset. Can i please have advice Maria even blocked me because she needed to get over me |

Question: Excuses for leaving school early? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 02:48 PM PDT So me and my friend want to hang out after school, it finished at 4:20 but you have to stay another hour for no reason. You can only leave if you have a valid reason. What are some good 'valid' reasons that we could use that would be convincing enough for both of us to have to go at the same time? Thanks :) |

Question: Is this 39 yo woman Flirting? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 11:27 AM PDT I go to college and theres this really weird woman in one of my classes. I am 19 and at first didnt talk to her. But then we started talking a little bit and she pretty much gave me her life story early on and like told me all these details like who cares? well I am in her class again and basically she started getting more talkative towards me. Shes 39, she doesnt really talk to any of the young women I go to college with or any guys. Just me. Well she started teasing me a bit and she constantly gives me ****. I noticed she was talking to someone and I was just listening to her and she was looking at me the whole time and not at them. When I talk to other people she likes to join in and try to talk to me. I was sitting down and working and I talked to her. She walked up got a little close like 2 feet. Then gets close to see what I am working on. She stood there during an awkward pause with a little eye contact and like said she had to leave but wouldnt. I have been getting a vibe something is off. One time she s sat right next to me and asked if it s ok |
Question: How to deal with copycat neighbor? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 10:58 AM PDT So I have a neighbor who s copying everything my family does started after we all decided to upgrade our vehicles after having the same ones since we moved in 10 years ago. Started small I backed in my drive to park one day then they did but it s starting to escalate. They all upgraded their vehicles now and whatever we do to ours they do. Bug shield they get one in the next few days. Put rims on mine they put rims on their kids car. I dont even know who these people are are never said 5 words to them. I also noticed the dad staring at my house for a good 5 minutes whenever hes walking his dogs. I even put sounds in mine because it was hard to do and whenever I drive past their house they get one of their buddies to drive past mine the next day. This petty back and forth was funny at first but is really starting to get annoying quick. Hell I said we were finishing our basement with no intention of doing it to mutual friends and now their doing their basement. I ve tried ignoring them and but nothing works. I m seriously thinking their stalking us at this point. |
Question: Why is my friend so controlling? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 10:08 AM PDT I am friends with this woman. She is twice my age. I'm 23 and she is 52. She befriended me in church when she wanted support because she had just left her partner. Since then, she has clung on to me and she has become very controlling and gets angry at me. I got a card to give to a friend and she snatched the card off me and she signed it herself putting her own message in the card and then when I was talking to her whilst she was writing she shouted at me and told me I was distracting her. One time I was in the toilet and she walked in and shouted my name so loud that I jumped out of my skin and then she started laughing. I was sitting next to her in church and then was on my phone and I noticed she kept playing with her hair and she was staring at me in a way like she hated me and then after she asked who I was texting and if it was a guy. She also joined me and my friend on a night out and then she kept trying to get me drunk by passing me drinks and then I told her I was into this guy from church and that I thought he was into me and then my friend told me he wasn't into me and that I was reading the signs wrong and that I shouldn't date him and focus on myself. I felt really upset after that night out and since then I've distanced myself from the guy. What's her problem with me? Why is she so controlling? |
Question: Why doesn’t my friend say hi to anyone, even me? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 09:50 AM PDT My friend is named Jada. I tried talking to her, and for a few days (3 or 4) she responded and had some what of a conversation with me. But she ignored me after that when I tried talking to her. She doesn't say hi when kids that live by us say hi either. I don't know what happened. I tell people that there is nothing wrong with her, she's just quiet and reads all of the time with music. When i come outside and try to say hi to her, she says nothing and goes back in her house. I can't ask her what happened. Should i just leave her alone? (It is believed that she is autistic because she, according to my best friend, acts like her cousin who has high functioning autism. |
Question: Is it wired i think Indian guys look sketchy with out beards? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 09:18 AM PDT ok so at my job there is a lot of Indian people now they are cool but there is like 1 guy who has a clean shave and I think it makes him look sketchy af but all the other guys had a normal beard but they don't look sketchy |
Posted: 19 Jun 2019 06:10 AM PDT Trying to make amends with him which yes I know it's stupid but I'm trying to patch things up and not lose a friend. He calls me "miss" now to be polite I guess.I have known him for years. How can I make it clear we are only friends without not making it seem like I'm assuming too much? I don't want to be messaging him too much because I have a bf. |
Posted: 19 Jun 2019 05:29 AM PDT So I noticed a brother hasn't been at a meeting, so the next meeting he comes but then he leaves halfway through the meeting. So by chance I had his number, so since he's my brother and out of concern I text him if he's okay... since it's a habit of mine to ask after people. And now he hasn't replied back. Did mess up? Because I'm hoping he doesn't get mixed messages, I was just trying to be nice. |
Question: Male friend suddenly started calling me "miss". Is this considered being polite? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 05:12 AM PDT I have known this guy for a long time. Years. And suddenly he just started calling me that. Just "miss." No name after that. He messages me every week or at least tries to message me every chance he gets. Nothing to flirty, just friendly. He knows I have a bf who I have been dating for a long time now. To sum it up, I just want to know his intentions and what could be the reason he started calling me "miss". Just recently as well. First time "what are your plans today miss?" And recently "hey how you been miss?" He s a friend I started catching up with but now he just seems to want to message me a lot and now giving me I guess you can say a pet name. I guess I am getting a bit worried because he has admitted to me he use to have a crush on me, not sure now. But I don t want to keep losing friends. I also want advice on how I can handle a situation like this as I am feeling bothered as well with him constantly messaging me. I know hes not flirting but I just feel it can be wrong to message another guy a lot when I have a bf. I want him to know that he should respect my boundaries. So how can I tell him without coming out as some kind of accusing cruel person? Especially that he doesn t really have the greatest relationship with girls. |
Posted: 19 Jun 2019 04:29 AM PDT In a nicer design than a one-color thing he usually wears. The last time I got it for him, not only did he not even say " thank you " (I earn less than he does by the way, and have far more expenses, among them rent whereas he still lives with his mom even in his early 30s) but then commented, " too small ". Do you think I should keep trying to find him stuff? I didn't realize it would be restrictive on the guy, could he have taken it as a message of " Try losing a few pounds " ? I've known him for a number of years, even before we started working at the same events. Awhile back our manager at the time handed out new polo shirts, and most of us got the size they needed, ranging from S to XXL, there wasn't one his size so he lucked out and made sure everybody knew about it. Suffice to say it was extremely difficult for me to remain tactful and not say it's because of the size he needs. I then went to the campus bookstore, took time to look through a LOT of shirts as close to the one I'd gotten as possible, took pictures of those available in a size that'd fit him, only to have him say " too expensive ". I offered to help pay for it and he declined the offer. I guess what I am trying to ask here is, at what point do I stop caring? He's not even trying to improve on his physique, 99% of the time I see him eat while at work it's fast food which most people KNOW is unhealthy. |
Question: Was my guy friend jealous ? Or was It only an impression ? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 04:06 AM PDT I was at an event and my guy friend was there too.We had not come together, though. But in the break of the event, I saw a friend of him that I had not met a long time ago. Apparently, my guy friend did not know I knew his friend. So, as I was going out in the break of the event, I started talking to his guy friend. I noticed my guy friend kept looking at us by the corner of my eyes. Then, after I hugged his friend to greet ( the guy iniciated the hug), my friend came to us, greeted me and said : " You met John ( name of his friend), then". It seemed like he was kind of angry or sad. Then, he stayed with us for some time, maybe trying to make conversation, but the situation was awkward, and in the end we did not talk. Was my friend jealous maybe ? Or It is only an impression ? |
Question: My friends are drifting apart from me...? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 03:54 AM PDT Recently , I introduced two of my best friends to each other and they really hit it off. I was glad. We did everything together. Until I found out one likes the other. When I'm with that person, all they talk about is my other friend and how attracted they are to them. They spend time with each other than they do with me. I've been thinking about dropping them both. When I'm alone with either one of them, I'm not having any kind of fun. And we work at the same job. What should I do? Because currently, I'm job hunting. I feel left out. And I dont think talking to them will help. I mentioned it to one of them and they got mad at me. |
Question: Why am I feeling so nostalgic? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 01:31 AM PDT Hi everyone so I was talking with an old friend of mine. We both live in different states. He is going into college and I am starting my second year of college. We were talking about our days in Middle school when we became friends and the things we would do together. It made me feel a bit depressed because of how long ago it was yet it seems like it was just yesterday. We are both growing up and time is going by faster. Any advice? |
Question: Should I kill myself? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 12:40 AM PDT I'm 17 and I've never had a real friend. I always have people to talk with and hang out with but they come and go so easily. I'm also gay and hate my body, and my parents attack me for both of those things. They will never accept me and I've been sexually abused so many times that I never wanna be intimate with anyone ever again and I feel like I'm useless. I'm lonely and useless, should I kill myself? |
Question: Does this mean I’m not important? Posted: 19 Jun 2019 12:30 AM PDT My friend and I have been friends for 8 years. Last week we had a chat on the phone (she called me)....but now she says she has college work to do and can't meet up anymore. I understand that school comes first but she didn't offer a new hangout date. Guess I'm not that important??? Whenever I cancel on her, I always immediately ask when we can reschedule. |
Posted: 18 Jun 2019 11:03 PM PDT For example : Does an individual generally attract those who are similar or alike in terms of quality, interests and personality? A loving , caring , kind warm hearted person will attract friends who are similar? And therefore will not attract bad people , or associate themselves/befriend anyone who is the opposite of this? Meanwhile , the thuggish drug dealer down the road who is associated with a gang , has friends who are low-life losers and who are up to no good? And therefore will not attract good people in their life. Are examples like these , usually proven to be true? Or do opposite personalities attract? |
Question: Should I tell this one girl how I truly feel about her ? Posted: 18 Jun 2019 10:22 PM PDT I have feelings for one of my platonic friends, and I never told her, and I like really do like this girl, I've been low-key trying to win her over, but it hasn't gotten me nowhere, one day I texted her "Good Morning, Sweetheart", and she got upset, then she tried to call me out about it, saying thing like "I have a boyfriend" and "you like me and it's a fact", I told her can you prove it, I had to try to step back for a minute, retract my actions, I felt like I made a Mistake, I also ask her to hang with me and my other friends for my birthday, she said yes at first, but then backed out in the end, I really think I creeped her out and turned her off, I'm Gaga over here, but I think I might of tarnished things, I always felt might of she liked me before this but now things are kinda bad, I used to work with her, thank god I don't anymore, that would of made things more awkward, what do you guys think, I need help with this... |
Question: What is the best way for a White boy to get a Black best friend? Posted: 18 Jun 2019 09:56 PM PDT He has to be black to look like Arnold and Gerald. |
Question: Atheists and Christians is this guy good or bad should I beware of this person? Posted: 18 Jun 2019 09:36 PM PDT H/She claim Christian to be my friend at first was I thought we are friend but after a while he/she start insulting my appereance non stop but is an indirect way like saying I lookk like ghost and keep talking about my personal life.. and non stop not only just once and he even pretend to be my idol also try to make me hate my idol too sometime I get so mad at myself when I am so stupid always trust wrong people I am such a idiot . -.- |
Question: What do you think I should do? Posted: 18 Jun 2019 09:34 PM PDT Alright, so....I've been bullied my entire life. School, family, church, anywhere. I go somewhere and people look at me in total disgust. I could not sit in a class w/o mean people whispering about me. No matter what I say or do it's never right and I'm the one at fault. I can't trust anyone. The only time I leave the house is to go to church, out to eat,the store or a once in a blue moon family trip. I refuse to be somewhere that I know I'll run into someone I went to school with because the suicidal thoughts will start again. Granite they never left because people at church make my life a living hell. Help me |

Question: Best friend is going away for 2 months. How should I say goodbye? Posted: 18 Jun 2019 07:19 PM PDT My best friend for the last 8 years of my life is going away in 12 hours for military basic training. I am so proud and supportive of him but at the same time I have this overwhelming sadness knowing that we will have absolutely no communication for over 2 months and unsure of when we will meet in person again. We have spent the last 5 years of both of our free time talking and playing video games together almost everyday. I'm taking some summer classes for college and have a part time job but it's not enough to fill that void of something we both enjoyed doing for the last 5 years. How do you say goodbye in this situation? Thanks. |
Posted: 18 Jun 2019 06:20 PM PDT I had sex with a guy friend and I told him I was going to leave him some pictures of me from a lingerie photoshoot I did (I'm not nude in the pictures). And then I changed my mind telling him that I didn't think he would want them. But he said he does want the pictures. So is he still interested in me sexually? |
Posted: 18 Jun 2019 06:07 PM PDT My friend and I have known each other for 3 years now, we connected really well and became friends easily, and now she's informing me that her parents are forcing her to go to a catholic high school. First of all, they don't even go to church regularly and aren't that religious. My friend herself is an aetheist, meaning she does not believe in god, and her parents only go to church for important events and stuff. I've asked my friend why they're sending her to a catholic school and she said her parents told her that they don't really like her current friends and that it'll be better if she made some friends there. I don't even know why her parents don't like us, like what'd we do wrong. My friend doesn't even want to go to school there, she's tried telling her parents but they won't listen. She said she keeps complaining but they just won't listen and they did all this without her knowledge and consent. As far as she knew, she was going to the same highschool as me and our friends, but then her parents tell her that she's going to a different school. So I just need help trying to convince them to let her go to the public highschool we're going to because she's a really nice friend and we've been through so much together. I'll just really miss her. I'm thinking of calling them, or making a petition signed with the name of her friends that want her to go to our high school. I just don't really know what to do and am so very confused, as this happened very suddenly. |
Question: Toxic Roommate Situation? Posted: 18 Jun 2019 07:25 AM PDT I have a question about a toxic roommate situation that I was in prior to October of 2018. I lived with two other guys, and one of the guys was on the lease, while myself and one of the other roommates were occupants. It was a two bedroom townhome, and I shared a large bedroom with the guy who was the occupant. The guy on the lease had his own bedroom. On 01Oct2018, the roommate I shared a bedroom stated that he found bedbugs in my chair (and this roommate used to also put things on top of that chair). This roommate told the roommate on the lease about the situation. At the time, I was out of the townhome, and I didn't get back in until later. When I arrived to the townhome, the roommate on the lease told me that he had some bad news, and he then asked me about my whereabouts and then continued to tell me that I was irresponsible and living a reckless lifestyle. The next day, the roommate on the lease called an emergency meeting, and stated once again that I had lived a reckless lifestyle, and that he was beyond livid. He told me to feel his wrath, and the other roommate at the table was crying out of fear. The roommate on the lease threatened and told me that I hadn't seen anything yet (with regards to physical intimidation). The following day, we met (03Oct2018) for our final household meeting, and he made more physical threats, and proceeded to change the locks later that week. I left the house prior because I feared for my physical safety. Can I sue this ex-roomate? |
