We were very close we talked on the phone everyday and didnt really hang out much considering he was in a wheelchair. His funeral is this weekend and Im wondering if I should go b/c 1st off I dont know any of his family and I dont want to invade their privacy and also I wasn't really invited however his funeral annuncement was posted on FB. I have been doing this well except for only when they talk to me I will talk to them but I never have a long conversation with them like I used to and I have been going through a depression to so is it good to be distancing myself from them like I have? Doing things like running up to me and hugging and hanging on me while I work. So I asked her out. She said yes and up until January we were almost officially a couple. She then became distant and stopped texting me first, and responding to only some of my texts. She told me she was "busy". It became awkward at work. And she basically ignored me. A few weeks later she posted her and a guy, on her social media. I was really hurt. Not sure if they were exclusive but they looked tight, so I quit. I'm still upset today. Seeing her at work. We smile and wave now, but that's it. She never try's to talk to me. I'm done, right? I would love to win her back over the guy. But I don't think I can. She never wants to hang out anymore. We went for a walk to catch up as "friends" a month ago but never a follow up and I could never get her texting me anymore. Can I win her back? Or if not how to get over being dumped? Now that I'm in college I feel the pressure to have friends to go out with all the time. I do have 3-4 friends I'm close with but we aren't like BFFFF...when I hang around other friends of mine I feel intimidated because they are always surrounded by THEIR besties and I feel left out thus it's hard for me to fit in or jump into the convo. During break and lunch we see each other sometimes and she's helped me through a lot of anxiety and never judged me and said I can always come to her. But she never accepted me on a social media site, but had other people from work. There's also a couple guys at work I'm chill with and talk to about hobbies but blocked me when I requested them, yet still chill in real life So are they just fake being nice? Or do they really like me and there's just a reason they don't want me on social media? |

Tbh I just ignore this. My parents and her dad have been friends for a long time but her dad doesn't even know about this. I know it's not his business but Idk. She's also had a bf for 4 months and hasn't told him. If you're gonna tell me to let her do what she wants then fine. I'm not planning on talking to her about any of this at any point. She called me randomly and told me she was going to be picking me up, leaving me with little time to get ready. She assured me that it'd be okay for me to just put on something basic since we're just going to a cookout. I wore a jean jacket, adidas hat, tank, and leggings with some sandals. As i walked to her car and saw her and my other friend they were dressed up and looked really cute. I asked her should I change and she said no, she only dressed up because it's her birthday. I also didn't want to take up too much time because I figured her family may have been waiting. Later I found out we were going to a party! She told me she'd take me home to change but never did, and I ended up going to a party looking bummy while they looked cute. Everyone at the party looked nice, some women even had on heels and dresses. I was so embarrassed, and this isn't the first time something like this has occurred, when we were younger they wouldn't invite me out with them. What should I do? Posted: 15 Jun 2019 07:58 PM PDT So a fake account was made apparently and this fake account messaged a boy who doesn't go to my school saying they would like to do some inappropriate things. This fake account said it was me, which lead to the guy and the guys friend who attends my school to think it's me. This literally happened 2 months ago but just this last week a girl from the other school messaged me saying it's so sad how you have to ask guys to do things. I had no intention of doing anything inappropriate, that's nasty and nothing I'd ever do. I asked the girl for evidence where I said that on my own account and she obviously didint have any. I blocked her and now a few days later another girl is messaging me saying oh so you're the one who asked blah blah to do this and that. It's so annoying I literally would never do that and these kids don't go to my school. I guess I'm just annoyed and embarrassed but I don't think these people who I even accociate w opinions should matter. |

It's a community college and Bc of that there is less of a social seen. Besides the type of kids who go there aren't the most motivated or seem particularly mature to be around. I don't have any family down here; I'm from Colorado so I spend a lot of time alone. Granted I've always had trouble making friends due to the maturity gap I often have with ppl my age. I'm kind of a wallflower but I also like to party every once In a blue moon. Anyways I'm getting pretty lonely and am not sure how to go out alone and make genuine/deep connections with strangers. A lot of college kids are actually rather superficial or maybe it's just the area I'm in. Help lol. |

Posted: 15 Jun 2019 04:26 PM PDT My life is extremely boring, I barely go out because there's rarely any events and if there are it's always late night and I feel someway partying out late and i'd have to dress up which makes me feel grown and I don't think my parents see me as grown so it's just weird. Plus I doubt they'll even let me go out like that. And where I live it's kinda a small city and I find It so boringggg. I can't wait to leave and by then I will have my own freedom as well, no one telling me what time to come home etc. but it makes me feel someway cos some of my classmates go out partying and stuff I feel like a loser. |
