Question: Am I required to tell my guardian my feelings? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 01:12 PM PDT I'm 18 and I moved in with my aunt and while I am looking for a place right now, until then I am living with her. She tried to kick me out today because I don't like to talk to her about my feelings, but I told her I do talk to other people so it's not like I'm holding it all in either. I thought she'd be happy I'm talking to someone but shes mad bc I dont trust her (to tell her my feelings) and I should go live with my parents bc I'm always obligated to talk to her when she wants to talk and I have to tell her my feelings |
Question: Am I wrong to be annoyed by this? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 12:40 PM PDT My brothers gf, and her sister are fraternal twins. I just think they go way overboard with it. Like when they see eatchother they go "twin!" When they literally look nothing alike. I just saw a post she made on Facebook. She said "I cant wait to see my twin!" People often have a difficult time tell my brother, and I apart, and often assume we are twins, but we dont go around saying we are twins, because we arent. I just find it cringy that they tell people they are twins when they look nothing alike. |
Question: Should I ask my 8 year old sister where she’s getting all these expensive toys from? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 11:01 AM PDT My baby sister is receiving really expensive toys that might be worth $100 (just my guess). She told my parents that it's from a girl her own age at day camp. That does not make any sense at all. An 8 year old doesn't have enough money to buy all that and give it to a friend. Even if the kid's parents are rich, I doubt they'd spend so much money on someone they've never even met before, and for no special occasion either. I just wonder because when I think of what she's saying, the story doesn't add up. She couldn't have stolen them either because they're not the kind of toys you bring to day camp. One of it looks like an antique doll. Infact that's not even something that modern kids play with. I can't think of anyone who could've bought these for her |
Question: Accidentally ruined sisters sweater! What should I do?!? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 10:31 AM PDT Currently in my home we fleas and since my sister isn't home at the moment I thought I would wash her bed sheets to prevent the further spread of the pests including her sweater that she got from her boyfriend. The zip up sweater had a decal/decoration on the back of it and when I put it in the washer I put it on the delicate setting to insure nothing would happen to it. When I took it out of the washer the decoration of the back was completely gone and I don't know what to do. Should I come clean? I don't want to lie to her since it was just an accident but when she gets upset it's legit scary. |
Posted: 28 Jun 2019 09:58 AM PDT My uncle and 4 of his 5 kids is there down the road 5 miles. An aunt on the other side of the family is there with a friend. The aunt I will likely see but the uncle my parents will likely say "let him be with his family" and yet they will have seen him two days earlier. I feel like I am being disloyal not reaching out but I don't want to be intrusive and they see me frequently as is. I have the option not to go and I may just do that but I feel such overpowering guilt if I am not reaching out as though I am disloyal cause as a kid my parents were distant from their families. Since my teenage years they have gotten closer. So what do I do about that weekend? |
Question: Why are people so against teenagers getting pregnant? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 09:58 AM PDT Kylie Jenner was a pregnant teen. She got pregnant at 19 and gave birth at 20. And she is a great mom and her child has a loving home. |
Question: What would you do in this situation? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 09:54 AM PDT I have been really tired of my mom, and it has been showing. She's been starting going to the store without even telling me if I need anything she'll just get it now, she doesn't like admitting her faults without throwing tantrums so it's impossible to talk to her. I just need a break away from her we moved here and I don't really know anyone to stay at for a bit. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables she was criticizing me saying I eat like a rabbit, I usually don't mind but today I snapped yelling stop! She did, I have a brother who's house I can stay but we don't really get a long well either I just need a month of break from everyone then I would be fine I'm just scared one day I'll snap and really hurt someone. Any advice would be appreciated. Yes I been staying away from anyone much as I could at least. |
Question: How can I make my sister feel better ? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 07:09 AM PDT My sister goes to an art class on Mondays starting in August she's going on Tuesdays it's where she met her boyfriend she's crazy about him I think he's the same way about her. She's worried because they're going to go to the pool this afternoon she can't go because she can't drive also they don't have transportation he's already gonna be there because he goes everyday. It makes her nervous knowing he's out in public around other girls she's been with him for 3 months I met him a few times he's a really nice guy he doesn't sound like the kind of guy who would cheat on her or leave her she's been cheated on too many times it makes her really worried. She wishes she could drive but because of her poor vision and bad back her doctors don't want her driving she's also terrified of driving anyway. He doesn't drive either. She wishes she can go to class everyday like him but she's busy during the week to go. He doesn't have a phone so she can't call or text him. How can I help her feel better ? |
Posted: 28 Jun 2019 06:50 AM PDT my mom said i couldnt have my birthday money from my grandma, it was 50 dollars.... she smokes alot of weed and always puts it above buying me stuff , and i assumed she would buy weed with my birthday money. So I slapped her out of anger. im 15 as of yesterday. She told me i was going to live with my dad (whos an abusive meth user) and i doubt she is being serious, but im still kinda nervous... She never got me a present in my life, not for christmas or birthdays.. unless u count the 5 dollar gift card to target she handed me last year as a CMAS gift , no wrapping or anything,. I just want to know, why does she have to be so rude and mean??? Do I deserve this.?? |
Question: Should I move out as soon as I turn 18? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 06:41 AM PDT I'm 16 and my step dad has been emotionally abusive since my mom died last year. I didn't want to tell anyone because my real dad is a deadbeat all my relatives live in another country and I don't want to move to another country. And if I tell the police, I will have to go to foster care and I'm too old to be adopted. Should I get a job and move out as I turn 18? |
Question: How do I legally take control of my father's Money? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 03:36 AM PDT I need a way to make sure my father no longer has access to his money. Now my parents are retired and living on a fix income, and my father is showing signs of some form of dementia, my fathers drinking has been hurting them financially and causing safety concerns. Over the past year I have had to buy them food and pay for their prescriptions. They agreed to let me have access to their account and even though my dad says hes not drinking, I will come home from work, my mom will tell me that my dad went out, did not come home with food or anything and was so drunk he was crashing into walls, and what do you know i would check on the account and 40$ would be taken out that day. When confronted about it he swears he never left the apartment, and that he doesn't know where the money went. We often find the empty bottles he tries to hide. When confronted with the bottles he gets quiet and swears it wont happen again. It does at least three times a week it does. So at the end of the month I end up having to go grocery shopping for my parents and pay for their prescriptions, (i wont give them money outright) The financial issues it is causing is only part of the problem, with my dads dementia he has been starting dinner and forgetting about it. at some point he will get up and find meat burned in the oven, things have boiled over on the stove. so far nothing has caught fire, but we are worried it will. I need help. I cant keep bailing them out money wise, and it is dangerous. I ran out of space to fully explain. The drinking is making the dementia worse. On days he drinks are the days he days he forgets that he is cooking dinner. He is fine on days we know he has not drunk. Like yesterday I had off of work and was home all day. I know he did not go out and there was no alcohol in the house. He didn't act drunk at all and he cooked dinner fine. The day before that, he snuck out and came home crashing into the walls and what do you know, water boiled over. |
Question: Is it worth it to enter this relationship? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 01:53 AM PDT My aunt got married two years ago. It caused friction with my Mom, because my parents are really racist (They won't admit it but they are) and her new husband is black, so is her step-daughter, my new cousin. I'll call her M. She and I clicked right away, becoming best friends, which my parents didn't like. My Mom really hates her, tries to warn me that she's a bad influence because of stupid stuff. (Calls her a slut because she smokes weed and has huge boobs. Like, what?) Been growing distant from my parents more and more this year. Graduating soon and M has already suggested that I move out, that we maybe try to find an apartment together. Which I'm all for. But we've had a few really tender moments, and her playful nature seems to cross over into flirting sometimes. We're really close and share a lot of trust (She was the one I first tried weed with.) And when we were looking at rooms, she seemed pretty nonchalant about two bedroom vs one bedroom. One bed is cheaper, and she didn't seem bothered by the idea of us sharing a bed. I talked to my friend about this and looked me in the eye and said "Dude. If you move into a one room with M, you guys will be having sex every day, you know that right? The way she looks at you..." I don't know if he's right, but I still find it tempting somehow. Should I go through with it and move in with her/let this relationship advance? She's only my cousin by marriage, and we'd probably keep it low key. But should I? |
Question: Why does my mum not care when i am ill? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 01:41 AM PDT So im usually sick quite often as i have stomach and digestion problems so im always either vomiting or there is something wrong like every few weeks , my mum is usually a good mum like shes kind but when im ill she wont check up on me like ring me and ask if im ok or she wont come to my room when im being sick she will just walk past my room, it may be because im always ill so she just is over it but it hurts because she seems like she doesn't care about me . If i complain about a pain she will say everyone has it or she will just not say anything but if my sibling says something she will ask questions or tell them stuff. Btw it is not because she cant deal with vomit its not that |
Question: Read bellow then answer? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 01:38 AM PDT my dad appearently was taught to lie and be like a politician. my mom lies too but less. my brother never lies. i wanted to know are all men taught to lie and keep everything secret. an example he talked behind my back to somebody but told me he did'nt lie. my mom also talked behind my brother and lied that she didnt |
Question: I need advice on how to handle an argument with my best friend...? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 01:11 AM PDT He and I have been having an ongoing argument over a few key issues and I want outside and unbiased opinions about it all. Issue #1: (I'll use examples to illustrate the argument) Nora's job in her family is to bring in income to sustain the family. She is told that her paycheck will be made available after 4 and that there won't be an issue in getting it. She happily relays that information to her family members. She goes to pick up her paycheck but is told that due to an unforeseen emergency, her check cannot be picked up until the following morning. She returns home and her oldest brother becomes extremely angry with her and starts accusing her of lying about being able to pick her check up. Is Nora's brother right to accuse her of being a liar or is he out of line? |
Question: My brother wants me to kill myself I'm not okay I need to talk about it I feel alone? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 12:43 AM PDT |
Question: 12 year old cousin(male)touching 22 year old cousin(female)? Molested? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 12:08 AM PDT Okay, I'm the 22 year old female and my cousin is a 12 year old boy. He keeps smacking my butt and grabs it. He has laid his head on my lap across my private area but not sideways. He lays it where like his face is literally on my area instead of like a cheek. He's also acts like he's putting his head on his arm when he lays like that so basically his hand on my private area. He's touched my boobs as well( with shirt on). I tell him to stop touching me all the time but he continues. Now, i was touched when I was younger by my uncle( not this cousin dad) so him doing all this makes me uncomfortable. Is it considered molestion or sexual assault even though his a little kid? I can't tell dad cause he won't believe me and my mom would cause a big scene. |
Question: Read bellow then answer? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 11:03 PM PDT why is my dad good to me and my sister and bad to my younger brother. my dad talks to us and when my bro comes he tells him to shut up. why he thinks older siblings must be treated better. I can't stand this. he cries and keeps distance with us because of this. |

Question: Embarresing thing i did i dont know what to do? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 10:23 PM PDT im 13, i was at school ,and my gf was with me. we were at lunch and decided to sneak out and go to a bathroom... so basicaly my parents are always home n supervise me 24/7 n i wanted to do stuff with my girlfriend, so we both went in the teachers bathroom cuz we knew all the teachers were either in the lunch room or outside in the old gym for an assembly. So we went in the bathroom , and locked the door behind us. Just as we had got our clothe off n were naked, we heard walking and then someone try to open the door. We both freaked out n rushed to put our clothe back on, by now the person was knocking loud on the door and saying whos in there?? , before we could put our clothe on , we heard a key being rustled around and then a sound like the door was opening. So uh . yeah , it was the principle who had seen us go in the bathroom on camera in her office.... and she opened the door to me and her completely naked . I got suspended and they are thinking of expelling me and her.i am made a mistake . It was embarresing and I am practically in tears writing this . My parents dont even know that this hapened yet because they havent called them yet(this happened yesterday and my parents would be grounding me if they knew) . I m scared bcuz the principal said she would be contacting them . Whatv should i do??? should i run away im terryified. |
Question: Should I have to help pay for half the cost of a bed bug heat treatment? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 09:27 PM PDT I'm living with my mom at the moment and she is a HORRIBLE person. She's the type of mom who hits you for her own self esteem and uses her son as a way to vent all of her anger. She has also emotionally abused me, both physically and emotionally. Verbally too. She recently got bed bugs somehow and there are a SH*T ton of bed bugs in her bedroom and around her bed. You can see the bed bugs crawling in, under and around her bed. It's disgusting! The room that I'm sleeping in has no bed bug traces, but professionals came to inspect the apartment and they said the bites on my leg are definitely from bed bugs. So I don't know if the bed bugs are just hiding really good in my room or if they're just biting me when I'm somewhere else in the house. So far my room has only had 2 adult bed bugs seen and I killed them instantly. My mom is trying to make me pay for half of the treatment ($1,200) because "I live with her" and I could have easily brought them home as she could have. My argument is that my room has NO evidence of bed bugs besides the 2 I killed while her room has a SH*T ton. Who is right here? Do I have to pay for half of the treatment? She's such a horrible person I don't even want to stay here any longer. If I stay longer she might try to blame everything wrong in the apartment to ME. |
Posted: 27 Jun 2019 09:17 PM PDT But I don't know what to do. My plan is to wait until I'm older to go back to China (maybe 20s-30s). I really want to find out who they are. Can I do this? When I was young I always thought if they didn't want me, or if they had to give me up. Also I always feel like I'm missing something like I have a twin or something. |
Posted: 27 Jun 2019 08:27 PM PDT I only hear about it on the news or media. In real life, you almost never see situations where it's super obvious that a kid is adopted, to the point where even strangers can tell. I've been to many graduation events where families usually wait for their kids. You almost never see an African or Asian child with white parents congratulating them. I'm sure I've met lots of adopted folks.. but I don't know it, which means it's likely that their situation is not obvious and strangers cannot tell by simply looking at their family. |
Question: Mother and son breakout? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 07:56 PM PDT So my mother and I had been seeing some roaches flying around in the bedroom and we was killing them she said she was going to used some bug spray and I told her, "Don't be a fool it's night time, the doors are closed and you want to spray some toxic substance while people are going to sleep? That stuff smells strong and shouldn't be inhaled I rather have roaches jump on me than inhale that all night." My mother is angry at me, not sure why it's a vaild point you know. I must say using the word breakout seems a bit of an over reaction as the quarrel ended kind of quickly very quickly. |
Question: Is it okay for my sixteen year old sister to kiddy stuff? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 07:38 PM PDT She likes monster high, ever after high, my little pony, wreck it ralph, frozen and other princess movies, kid like books, toys and dolls, babyish hairstyles, cutesy clothing, little girl panties, etc. Is this okay? It's cringey to me. :/ |
Question: Thinking my mom might have stolen my income taxes? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 07:17 PM PDT I really dont want to think this, but my sister, and brother both got theirs. Mine would be mailed to my mother po box. The should have arrived a month ago, but nothing.... I wouldnt think she did it, but shes known to be a little selfish. She took her, and my dads house that he worked real hard on in the divorce. She doesnt take care of it so its falling apart. She also took 50,000 from him in the divorce. Legally of course. Am I too paranoid? I hope I am. I know she can be selfish, but I really couldnt see her stealing money from me, but they should have been here a long time ago. |
Question: Since I am 18, do I have to do activities with my family that I don’t want to do? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 06:42 PM PDT I just graduated from high school recently and I am leaving for college this October. My family always loves going up to a campground about an hour away from my house and they always force me to go with them and I really prefer not to go. I've talked to them about how I feel and they always cover it up saying that 'I'll survive' or 'Just get over it' when I work a job that only gives me 2 days off a week and I'd like to relax instead of being cooped up in a trailer on my off days. My family has always been very clingy and has not let me do much on my own and frankly, I'm very sick of it. Any ideas of what I could do? |
Question: Why doesn't my mom doesn't care about me at all? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 06:41 PM PDT Everything I tell her, she thinks everything is okay when it's not. That's why I hate her so much. She's a ***** for no good reason. and she takes life was a joke |

Question: I want to sneak out tonight, How to do it? First timer? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 05:11 PM PDT I want to sneak out to see a cute guy. Him and I have been talking and I'm so sick of being in the house. My parents don't let me go out because I'm not a virgin because I was raped. This is my first time sneaking out. I live on the first floor apartment but share a room with all 3 siblings. I sleep on the top bunk and my sister doesn't go to sleep until late. Usually until 2 or 3. Sometimes my parents come in to check on us. They just glance but mostly check on my baby brother. It's summer so how do I make a fake me and have her not notice thats its not me. Because it gets really hot and I don't want her to think she's uncovering me but she's really uncovering a dummy me. My dad wakes up at around 4 am. I want to sneak out at 2 because thats when my parents and other sister and brother are sleeping. But the one sister stays up late. Our room is facing the front door. I want to sneak out the bathroom window but its small. I'm small enough to fit. Idk how to get out and get back in. How to do it? |
Question: Gift for a very rich man? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 04:47 PM PDT My Uncle is ridiculously rich. He's a genius and earned it himself as an actuary. He's extremely generous and gave me a large gift of money to help pay for college and then again when myself and my husband bought a house ($50,000 that time!) and another $20,000 when we had a baby. He is a very good man. His birthday is coming up and I always struggle with what to get him. He already has everything he could possibly want. I'll be visiting him for a few days. He doesn't live near me. What can I get him that I could bring with us when we fly out? It doesn't need to be expensive because he can already buy whatever he wants. It needs to be something really useful of thoughtful. I feel like I always fail at getting him good gifts. He works a lot and travels constantly for work and his hobby is sailing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
Question: Is it wrong of me to travel without my immediate family? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 03:48 PM PDT My siblings and I live with my grandma. We had an opportunity where all of us would be able to travel, but I don't think that is going to happen. Another opportunity came up which is traveling to Europe for 7-10 days with my cousins. The problem is they can afford to only take me. I am having traveler's guilt since I feel bad about leaving them, especially my siblings since I am the eldest and I am with them 24/7. Also, they have told me that they want to travel since their friends and some of my family are traveling during summer break and don't want to be left out, but again the problem is the money. I have travelled without them before but that was a long time ago when my siblings were really young and can barely remember. I asked my friends about this and they said I should go since it'll be good to "relax and have some fun" because we've had some family issues for the past 2 years. I would like other people's opinions as well. Should I feel bad or should I take this opportunity? |
Posted: 27 Jun 2019 03:47 PM PDT I am going to one first weekend in August. At Thanksgiving last year two of my aunts got drunk and had a big fight while someone else got arrested.
