My fiance and I have been together for nine years, since we were both teens. Neither of us has been intimate with other people, we are both the first and only partner for each other. Sex is good. I m only saying good because it varries from time to time. Sometimes it can be extraordinary, sometimes it only feels like duty. It s not that I m not satisfied; but I m curious. Like, I won t compromise the relationship for a curiosity. It s just that sometimes I m wondering what would be different. My ex just recently broke up with me because she claims she wants to focus on school and only wants us to be friends for now. Here family really got in her head and influenced her to make this decisions. I didn't want that but I had to accept it and move forward with my life. So I've decided to join the navy which is my dream and I just signed my contract. Anytime I bring up anything about me joining the military she gets mad and tells me that I'm not going and she doesn't want me to live her and she doesn't wanna here anything about it. It's just confusing bc we're not even together anymore. I was so excited to tell her about me signing my contract but she didn't wanna hear about it at all. I didn't care because I m happy about going. I just need some advice. Should I just cut her off?

So I really need other people's opinion on this. It's been months since my husband started going to his dad's house to drink like almost every weekend. I don't mind. But what bothers me is that he doesn't come home till the next day. Let me explain. At first it didn't bother me because he'd come home from his dad's as soon as he woke up the next day which would be like around 7am-9am. But lately when he goes to his dads he doesn't come home till like a full 24hrs has passed. Sometimes I'll text him around lunch time to ask him what time he's coming home and he always replies with "I'll leave in a bit" and hours pass and he still hasn't gotten home. Which is kind of annoying. Last weekend he came home after being gone a full 48hrs. That weekend when he was at his father's I called him on the second day because I wanted to know what time he was coming home because I had gotten invited out and I wanted to know if he'd be home before I left. (We have kids so I wouldn't go out if he wasn't home to watch them). So at first he complained about having to leave but he said he'll get home before I left. Smh honestly why would he even complain if he's been there for two days straight already lol. I've told him twice before that it bothers me on how long he stays over there and he says I shouldn't have a problem with it cause he's with FAMILY. Anyway, is this something you'd ignore cause they're with family? Or would this be something that annoys you?

Long story short. I come from a quintessentially dysfunctional family with intrasexual internalized sexism and mental health anomalies. I had a very traumatic childhood riddled with sexual and emotional abuse and bullying. My mother was not very warm or affectionate and showed favor toward my eldest brother that sexually molested and abused me. I did not disclose this until I was a teenager and tired or being chastised for being a runaway and sex trafficked. I blurted it out in pain/spite. Of course my mother did classic blame the victim. "Well, why did you not tell me?" I found out her husband who was just released from prison after serving 33 year bid is not my biological father. Suppposed she was date raped. They told me he was my father for years. So, my most recent grevience is tht my mom.just received lawsuit a settlement. She told me she would give me money as I have student loans. She did not follow suit and come tpnfind out has helped others before me. I am.hurt and want to ex communicate.
