I want to propose to my gf but I can't decide how much I should spend on a ring and would like to get some suggestions on what you guys might have paid so I can make a call I know I want it to be $500 or more but I just don't know how much would be to much. not that I would not give her the most expensive one if I could I just don't wanna put to much into it that I feel it was a burden like I would not mind spending $3,000 on a ring for her but at the same time if I could have bought a ring for $1,000 at lest we could have used the rest to make it awesome what do you guys think. I need this advise I make 28k a year to put this **** into perspective I can take care of myself same with her but i wanna do this on my own I want it to be a surprise cause I only get to propose once and I don't wanna wait years cause as you see I make **** money but I fear what people think I fear that she will just think I could not afford a good enough ring. you know sorry about my fears yall. just want to thank you all for your advice and the guy who showed me I put advise not advice lol. if I could have gave you all best answer I would have.
