I rarely make friends with people, I've gotten to an age where I can appreciate loneliness over fake company. However this particular coworker I've gotten pretty close to... we are like sisters we bicker but always make up. She can be kinda overwhelming and mood swingy like sometimes she wants to be cool and other days she will almost pretend I don't exist until she needs something or wants to talk about her life (child, husband.) So I treat her how she treats me and she ended up saying I was mood swingy but I'm just treating her exactly how she treats me. Not too long ago she was telling me how I'm her best friend and she doesn't want anything to come between what we have because I'm like the closest thing she's had to a real friend. Then the other day she says " lol you really thought we were bffs, girl I just use you as a counselor." She even laughed so loud and sarcastically, I was pretty embarrassed 😳. Am I being too sensitive ???

My friend (let's call her S) rarely asks to hangout. When she does, it's when she's with other mutual friends. She's asked me to pick her up from work several times (unplanned). I usually say no b/c either I'm busy or don't feel like driving her. I drove S to school almost everyday senior year of HS (we just graduated) since we live 5 min apart & she would always get mad if something unexpected happened where I couldn't drive her (like one time I couldn't find my keys in the morning so I was late & she was pissed even though I told her to always have a backup). Recently S and a mutual friend texted a group chat with a few other people asking to go to our state park (2 hrs away) to hike. Since they brought up the idea, I figured one of them would drive. So a couple days later I asked whether we're still going & S asks if we can take my car (a newer Camry). I said no because my dad is using my car for work so it will be at the airport, & I am currently using his older car (a 2003 Mazda) for the time being. After I said that there was no other messages from S & I assume she went to tell this other mutual friend. They still want me to drive which makes no sense because a) they brought up the idea and b) they both have much more promising cars that aren't old & unpredictable. I'm sick of her only wanting to hangout when she gets something out of it. We're going to the same college. She can be a great friend at times, but others are how I described & I'm not sure what to do ab it

Is lashing out to others who she says are not on her team to help her .she is being abusive to other as in verbally and mentally and blaming others for her cancer I love my friend and care about her we have been childhood friends for 39 years but I do i have to allow her to be this at me I am at a crossroads of ending the friendship .I can only take so much I have many health issues and hers is not mine I have to deal with my life no one else can help me and I have missed doctor apts to help her gone out of my way as well as others have and we can't seem to do any right in her mind we have told her she needs help mental what else do i do

I am set to be a senior in high school next year and even though introverted, I occasionally feel lonely because I don't have friends or knowledge of how to make friends. It is currently summer (thank god) and I recently started a part time job which has helped me become more confident in myself, but I still feel lonely sometimes. What do I do?

I loaned a friend over $200,000, for his business and personal uses. Now I need to have a discussion with him about what interest rate he'll pay. 1. Would you specify the minimum interest rate that you'd charge and let him name any rate at least that high? 2. Would you just specify an interest rate? 3. Or would you do something else? He was in a financial bind when I loaned the money to him (and he still might be), as he was just starting his business. He didn't pay on time, but he's honest. He just paid 1/2 of the loan and I expect him to repay the rest when his business makes some more sales. As long as I earn what I paid when I borrowed the money, and am repaid in full, I'm happy. But I could have loaned the money to someone else for a profit. Thanks. Sorry, to add (as the longer post I planned wouldn't post): we agreed on a sky-high interest rate, which is now 14%. The loan is fully documented. 14% interest is crazy and I don't want that from someone. So I offered to reduce it in part to prompt payment. So I'd like to set an interest rate of perhaps at least 7% but most of all want payment in full by the end of this year. He'll almost surely accept a higher rate, but I don't want to take advantage.

I'm 16 and I'm going to start working later in the summer. Right now I'm really bored because all my friends are away. The main problem with finding friends is that I don't have much money so I can't join clubs that cost money and I can't find any places that are accepting voluteers so I don't know how I can meet people. There was this guy, that I used to like. He chose the other girl over me. So, she had his contact info and everything. I left it alone & decided to move on. Yet, the girl keeps stalking me. Whenever I post something on social media, she does it too. I blocked her on all social media because she saw me talking to my friend who had an event and she decided to name the event the same name that My friend named it a day after I posted it. What gives what is her problem. I blocked her, so how is she seeing my stuff. Why is she doing this and what should I do?

Last summer I made the mistake of letting my ex roommate borrow my phone. Turns out she's bat **** crazy and she got my email and passwords. I secured everything so she can no longer log into them. But occasionally I get notifications saying that someone attempted to log into my Facebook, Twitter etc. I haven't seen or spoken to her in 9 months. I got kicked out of where we lived because we got into a fight. There's literally nothing she can gain from reading my messages. I don't text random people saying " hey M is a *****" because how can I? It's been nearly a year and there's nothing to say to anyone about it. She'd have to be bored viewing my **** after this long.

I am friends with this girl and we have gotten quite close. Us and a group of other students moved away from home to study and she is currently away from her husband who she married a year ago. We used to hang out at the start of the school year and since she was having a difficult time I tried to help her out along with my other friends. She knows a lot of things about me that other friends don't since she has confided things in me as well and we used to get along fine until the last month or so. She always avoids hanging out with me even if it is just to study and if we have conversation she seems to act a bit distant or cold and makes excuses to get away. She is fine with others and when we are in a group she seems normal and the way she used to be but when we are alone its the opposite. We had a break back in Feb and she did the same thing a week before the break before things went back to normal although this time its been longer since she has been doing it. I don't know why she is acting distant and I consider her a close friend and don't want to lose her as a friend

This guy would always stared at me back in class when were in high school and now when he sees me he looks down and sad. And looks nervous like he would kinda fidget around. Last time I saw him he winked at me. I used to like him a whole lot. I ruined my chance because every time he would talk to me I would get very shy and kinda ignore him which was stupid now. When they say they roll with the guys they mean what I am showing in this picture. If I try to have something to do with her, she says she couldn't have me around the guys that she hangs with because I'm not like them. When I did work around the guys that they hang with I'm called 'gay' and harassed and heavily bullied and almost beat up. All the women 'rolls with the guys' around here and the picture hear is usually what she means. They don't hang with standard regular guys. What should I do? I cannot 'roll with the guys' and the guys in this picture is what she means, so how can I talk to these women in general?

about 9 years ago... I was playing an old friend on the game "words with friends". We were joking around and messaging eachother on the game. She had my phone number at the time. But she's known to be a little crazy sometimes, like she's sneaky and tries to always have 1 up on someone. Well, after playing the game with her... I chilled for a little while. And this is so embarrassing but I watched some porn on my phone. After watching the porn on my phone... I go on twitter and see that she tweeted "I'm disgusted". And I instantly thought she was speaking on me. It bothered me heavily for a while after that. Is it possible she could have been spying on my phone? She never had access to my phone she was thousands miles away. However, I feel like she was spying on my phone. I've talked to her way after that. But I still feel paranoid about it.

I'm looking to throw a party next week, but, unfortunately, I do not have a house available to do so. I was thinking of having a house party but due to circumstances it would have to be somewhere other than a house! Does anyone have any ideas as to where I could do this? Preferably somewhere free or not too costly. I also want it to be casual so no formal areas. I wasn't thinking of doing anything activity based either but any suggestions would be welcome!

My friend works in a school. This means she's usually home by 4:30pm and she gets lots of time off during the school holidays. However, I tend to get home from work at 6:30pm and I get less time off work. I live with my partner and during the week I tend to stay at home after work because I don't have enough time to do anything social. Friday evenings I always go to see my mother and weekends I plan things with my partner or friends, including her. I find it hard to fit everyone into my life. I have to make time for different people and it means not everyone can see me every single week. I'm also trying to save to buy a house and alongside my full time job I occasionally do festival or gig work on the weekends. I've explained to her that this will mean there may be weekends I'm not free at all but it's because I'm trying to reach my goal to buy a house. She sometimes say I don't make time for her or that I make more time for other people which isn't true because I do try to fit in everyone into my life equally and I do find it hard at times. If I see another friend she complains that I haven't seen her. I can't win. She makes me feel bad for trying to see other people that also mean something to me. She makes me feel bad for working extra to reach my goals. How do I get her to respect what I do and why i do it?

So weird question but I need to know what teen boy like to do you see I'm writing a book and I'm a bit stuck I'm trying to write a scene with two of my male characters in their free time during school and they make a stop to the boys room before going to class but I need to know how to describe what the other boys are doing in there but my problem is that since I'm a girl I can't think of what a bunch of boys would be doing in a school bathroom and I can't imagine it being the same as what us girls do in there unless they're gay which is gossip talk about boys we like touch up our make up and hair etc. you know girly stuff so if there's any guys that could help me and give me a guys point of view on how to write this chapter and tell me what boys are into that would be a big help because I have no idea on what a bunch of pre teen boys would be doing in there besides actually using the bathroom what else could I write them doing are they goofing off talking about girls playing video games are they looking at inappropriate websites on their phones what do you guys do in there?

I find it interesting that girls, especially at a young age, love pink or at least wear it, even if they don't care about it they have stuff that's pink. Today, it shouldn't matter right? Girls can buy clothes of all colors, own phone cases in any color, etc. but they're still all over pink lol More than guys are when it comes to blue, they don't really care as much anyways. The connection between pink and girls is interesting because even without the reinforcement of the norms, we try to be as flexible and easy going about those things now, but it's so common to see girls like pink. Are they naturally fond of this shade?

Things didn t end great with us. I sent her a friend request to see if she could help me talk to him. He s mad or upset and wants nothing to do with me. She s been nothing but rude to me in a few messages. Okay fine. She answered the question. Why be so rude. I posted something about needing to move on now (pretty positive post) and she sends me a bitchy rude message. Why so rude? Why even stay as a friend if he and I aren t together and I only added her to get help with him?

Is this Jealousy here?

Is it just a great life, sunshine n rainbows, able to buy anything you, any girl you want, nice cars, best parties in town, no worries, all smiles ??? Im thinking it must be a huge stress relief to be rich.
