Posted: 17 Jun 2019 05:41 PM PDT I had sex with a guy friend and I told him I was going to leave him some pictures of me from a lingerie photoshoot I did (I'm not nude in the pictures). And then I changed my mind telling him that I didn't think he would want them. And he said he does so is he still interested? And when I say interested I mean still interested in having sex with me I don't mean a relationship. |

Question: Work consuming my life, also yours? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 03:13 PM PDT so, 'm eating good i'm healthy'ish and i have the money i need maybe more, so in short "i'm thankful" but the thing that i want is time, i want to enjoy a total free time right now not when i'm old after retirement, so obviously work is a problem when it's comes to time, not only the hours everyday, even after work i'm consumed, i just want to rest. so i get few hours a day that i can choose freely what i want to do. since i have my unhealthy brother to spend time with and i play guitar "seriously", also have a studio to make music seeing my friends seeing my other group of friends seeing that particular friend preparing my own food i also love playing video games(i didn't want to mention that but to be honest, it gives me a great enjoyment) all what i mention above, i cant handle all of them. when i go to a vacation it's possible i develpe and enjoy everything, but that time is just one month in a year, i really want to focus on what i crave, my friends are weirder by me because it's been a long time since i've seen them. so what ur impression on that, do u feel like what i feel ? all that and i'm single, without a spouse or a girlfriend XD. |
Question: Internet turns off at 1 am! How to adjust? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 03:09 PM PDT I'm 17 and my mom recently deciced to start restricting me and my brothers internet acess, it turns off at 1 am. Normally, I would be okay with it but most of my friends are only online late at night like me ( I prefer the night to the day) and now that its summer I'm worried that since I wont have anyone to talk to anymore, my summer is gonna be really lonely. Even tho I could find people who are online during the day I'm gonna miss talking to my current friends a lot, how do I deal with not getting to talk to them anymore and adjust to this... I was already stressed because my mom is keeping me from going to my dads (She wanted to get a puppy and now everytime I say I want to go over there half the time.. .she says I lied to her about the puppy and that she wishes she didnt get it because im not commitied). This is my last year at home so I want to go there too. I dont have a good home life here, my school friends are out of the country all summer. Talking to them and playing video games with them was the only good parts of my day.... How do I feel better now? Im mostly asking on how to cope with not being able to talk to my friends who are very important in my life. I can handle no internet and find other things to do or I can sleep. |
Question: In love with your best friend who's dating your friend, odd yet relatable? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 02:49 PM PDT If the person has been your most trusted friend for half your life with past history of liking each other without knowing then, and those feelings redevelop ( only thing is now they're dating some one who is a friend of yours as well), what would you do? |

Question: Why did he said this "Well we already did it...sooo...but I'll bring your proof anyway..? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 02:14 PM PDT This guy put in his p**** somewhat inside my v**** after I told him not too. I told him to put a condom on and he never did. And learning he never used a condom before. He said he is STD Free. And I asked him for proof if we gonna be dating... But why would he avoid seeing me for weeks after that conversation??? |
Question: I am a 26 year old guy and having trouble with elderly MEN please help? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 02:07 PM PDT I am a 26 year old guy and 6 months ago i used to look really young. Like no wrinkles or laugh lines on my face. But i started using this product on my face i bought on amazon, and i did not follow the direction on the product. And it dried out my skin so bad it did some heavy damage. It gave me laugh lines, started taking part of my cheeks away (sunken downward). Very deep wrinkles on one eye, not so deep wrinkles on the other but still see able. Dark spots under neath eyes. Just went from looking young to old in only 2 weeks of using the product :( So even though im 26 i look about 40 or 50 now. I am too embarrassed to show picture on here but just image someone in there 20s with a 50 year old face, it just looks odd. Also i notice children under age 7 look at me and giggle. So am a cashier at a fruit market and customers are mostly elderly. They are so rude to be like snatch their groceries from my hand. Never put the money in my hand even if i put my hand out, they put it on the table instead and tell me to pick it up. Why are they acting like this towards me when i don t even do anything to them? |
Posted: 17 Jun 2019 01:41 PM PDT I told him I liked him a lot too. He said he can't wait to see me this weekend and I told him the same thing too. Me And him was talking for almost 2 months before he blocked me.. |
Question: Am I making excuses or is she a toxic friend? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 01:12 PM PDT I entered university last year with not much interest in it and made a friend, lets call her H. H is a great person who works hard but she also asks a lot of questions, it gets annoying. Sometimes I like that part of her because she calls me out on my bullshit and makes me realise I am making excuses. Other times she makes me feel uncomfortable, offended and I forget a lot so it gets harder to answer the questions. She also gives advices being straight forwarded that are good too but sometimes she comes of as a know-it-all. I don't know how to tell her to shut up and the right time because I am scared of offending her. An example. She took my phone (with permission) and asked to open YouTube. I remembered something private and took it back to handle that first then gave it back to her. She got offended and starting asking me what I was doing and I shouldn't have given her in the first place. Another example is that she asked me why I don't go to my city in vacations and I told her about my transport and scheduling issues and she said I don't know how to schedule things (She has never been out of the city) and that I don't appreciate what I have enough. I wish I could give better examples but these are all I can think of and I need to keep the word count in mind. Thanks for reading. |
Question: Do you have a friend who you don't like but keep any way? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 12:42 PM PDT There was girl who was really pushy and kind of bossy. I never liked her. We grew up together and she was always bossing me around or had some of opinion she had to share with me. My mom loved her and so did the other girls. My mom said she was a strong and independent women and that I should aim to be just like her. I was a quiet girl. We were in pre-K to 12th grade together. I tried to separate from her but we were both honors students so we were always in the same class. I couldn't tell her I didn't like her because she would tell the other girls and I could lose all my other friends. I put up with her and now we are finally going to college and I realized all my friends were actually her friends and they never liked me. They never hung out with me or talk to me when I was not with me pushy friend. They were just putting up with me because they saw me as the pushy girl's best friend. They loved her but hated me. So in the the end the only "friend" I had who actually liked me was the pushy girl I did not like. I owe her my happy childhood memories even through they were based on lies. I'm curious if other people keep friends they don't like and if they ever tell them. I kind of find it funny. I didn't like my best friend but put up with her. All of my other friends did not like me but put up with me because they were the friends of my "best friend". So I never had any real friends. Would you say this is pathetic? |
Question: How to be sure that flirting in a light way won't turn her into enemy? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 12:35 PM PDT When making a move to any female as part of flirting so she gets in serious relationship with you. Now question is how be sure won't make it worse but keep remain the same. Example: I saw girl I like at classroom. She sit behind me. Everytime I need help, she willing to help me. She helping me often. One day I saw her at Burger King, I asked her if we can go to movie together as being on date. She say no, I accept rejection. Next day, she avoiding me. She won't say hi to me anymore. She ignored me. Now how do I know that by asking simple questions won't cause her to avoiding me? I mean if I did something bad to her then yes I can understand why avoiding me. But I mean just simple flirting like any human would do. |

Question: Texting with a girl advice? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 10:49 AM PDT This might come off as weird story but some serious advice would be much appreciated. I've been texting with a girl on an app for around 10 months or so, and we tend to click on topics and enjoy talking. however the conversation turns sexual at times and we have traded some naughty pics between each other, (no face pics and she asked first). there is still this anonymity between us when it comes to personal stuff. she is really growing on me and i am liking her more and more everyday, i asked directly once if she would be open to the idea of getting to know each other on a more personal basis, however she wasnt open to the idea. we still talk regularly, so my question is how do i move from here?, i truly like her in a platonic way,i just enjoy her conversations and want us to be friends. i cant seem to get her out of my mind. how do i make it work? make her comfortable to the idea of us becoming friends? Thanks |

What does this mean? (Other than the fact that he might show his friends or post them online). Because I don't think he'll do that. Question: Do I Cut My Friend Off? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 07:25 AM PDT One of my best friends and her ex have been broken up for two years now. She's been 'hanging' out with other guys that are nothing but mean and manipulative to her. Yet she always tries to find excuses for everything. She had two ex friends at treated her like ****, and she tried making excuses for them too. She lives with her parents, works full time as a branch manager, and never went away to college . Everytime I tell her the truth she always finds something to try to make me feel bad. I suggested therapy but she gets mad and tells me that's theres nothing that can fix her problem. She called me this morning to tell me that one of the guys that she slept with gave her something and now she's crying about it. I told her that it's because she trusts too many people and she thinks it's funny and tries to laugh it off. At this point I'm done and I do all that I can't as a friend. |

Question: He complains all the time? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 06:51 AM PDT My bf complains and it bothers me. I live in a highly populated area in the city. He lives in a quiet suburb. Parking where I live is difficult but not impossible. Everytime he comes to visit me he complains about the parking. He refuses to park more than two blocks away from my place and lives with this constant mindset that someone will break into his car, even though I've reassured him that I've lived in this area for more than 10 years and they don't vandalize cars. He brought me home last night and refused to stay because he said he refused to walk an additional block. I was extremely upset and told him that if parking is going to be an issue in our relationship then were not going to work. I've chosen to not have a car because I live in area where I don't need. Public transit takes me straight to work and I like catching uber. He complains about that as well. Saying that everyone needs a car. Everytime I pick a movie that he complains that everything that's happening is stupid and he doesn't want to watch it. He only wants to watch the shows he picks. Am I overreacting feeling like we're not going to work. I plan on renewing me lease one more year and I'm fearful that he'll stop wanting to visit because he doesn't like the parking situation. |
Question: Pleaseeeee Help!!!! I need YOUR advice???!!!? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 05:48 AM PDT So i am best friends with this group of girls but i am the closest with one of them. We live in a dormitory so we spend every second of every day together. We sit next to each other in class, we stay together during brakes and we even sleep on the same bed together. We would always be together. But lately, for a month or so, my friend has been hanging out with these other group of girls. She just seems to enjoy their company more. She keeps telling me about how funny they are. Of course she can stay with whoever she wants, but i feel like she is replacing me. What about me? What about her friend that was beside her during all year? Now as soon as the bell rings she goes to hang out with them during each break time and leaves me alone. She doesn't eat lunch with us anymore, she doesn't eat dinner with us anymore. She never stays in our room anymore, she only comes there to sleep at night but before she would only stay in the room with me. Long story short, we no longer hang out as much as we used to. We do talk, but only during the lesson, but only because we are next to each other and her other friends are not in the same classroom with use. i hate how distant we have become, i really miss her. i want to talk to her about it, but i feel like she may say that i am just jealous and that i am just exaggerating. What should i do? This situation is really hurting me. Any advice? |
Posted: 17 Jun 2019 05:39 AM PDT When sometimes, people just plain don't like you or they are avoiding you because of something they don't like about you. :( Example: They always teach the same things about making good, close friends. (I teach this stuff too, but other things as well). Anyway. They teach "be your best self and all the other things will fall into place". "Show you need friends, and they will trust you more and pull in to be your friends. It's not enough to be a friend to others." What they mean by the second thing is, most people will become friends with someone if that person isn't just good to them, but also is someone who needs them and asks for help or advice sometimes, asks to borrow things sometimes, tells personal things sometimes, etc. There are people who do this all the time though, who also are good to those people, and do not have close friendships or even a friendship at all. There is more to it than that for some people, and I hope one or more of you write a book about it or write to The Mighty or start partnering with places that allow you to share your experiences in healthy ways the communities you live in can understand, grow, and empower one another not to leave even one person in the dark. I've seen many of you comment and ask about related things over the years...and know it's possible for POSITIVE change to happen. It just won't always be by following the textbook formula. Sometimes other things need to enter the conversation. People need to understand more about personalities, backgrounds, cultural issues, mental health issues, neurological issues, spiritual issues, and what else? You list it here. Stay positive about it. |
Posted: 17 Jun 2019 02:29 AM PDT There is a friend of mine. I did speak to him about people making fun of me and bullying me. Then this person was like let's first accept the fact you are a person who people would make fun of. You are weird. You walk, talk, act weird and you don't look good. And thats why people bully you. But you need to learn to ignore them and find friends who still accept you inspite of all these things. This person treats me well and is nice to me otherwise. But the thing is i disagree with him and all the bullies. I think there is nothing weird about me. I think im very attractive. I think im very normal and have many good qualities.I think i shouldn't be made fun of. So should i believe in this perception or his perception? |
Question: Fighting with friend, please give advice!? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 01:53 AM PDT I have a friend who has actively been close to me for 20+ years. Recently everything that I do seems to piss him off unless it s specifically what he wants to do. I tried setting some boundaries because I suffer from anxiety and am being treated for depression so I just asked if we could take a break and talk again when we had cooled down. To prevent me from trying to talk to him before I m ready I unfollowed his posts on Facebook and set my messenger so I wouldn t be notified if he messaged me. The next day he has blocked me in Messenger and has unfriended me on Facebook. Now our other friends are getting involved and I m terrified that this is going to make him think we re ganging up on him bc he refuses to talk to anyone and all anyone is hearing is my side. What in the world can I do to try and make this better? |
Question: Really sad about my best friend leaving, have you ever felt this way? Posted: 16 Jun 2019 11:45 PM PDT I've just finished my a levels so this is the last summer before I go to uni and I'm feeling so sad because my best friend is going on holiday for 2 months so I won't be able to hang out with her all summer. It's also weird because for the last three months we've been on call to each other everyday so it's going to be weird going from speaking to her everyday to hardly at all. I struggle with depression too so this is making me feel really bad and I should be excited for summer and that I've finished my a levels but I'm struggling to feel anything but sadness. |
Question: Should I tell my friend that my other friend might break up with her? Posted: 16 Jun 2019 10:36 PM PDT My two best friends are dating and one of them has a history of being very loving and affectionate but only for a while and then moving on. They have started to get very serious (and as they have somewhat aquardly told me, sexual) and He has confided in me that he is starting to lose feelings for my other friend, would telling her about this ease the inevitable pain? EDIT: i think I should make it clear that I would never outright tell her, I was just wondering if I should remind her again of my friends "track record" I will make sure not to make her anxious. and also that what the man is doing is not at all a "pump and dump" as some of you seem to think. With that in mind, I hope I can help you make more educated answers, sorry for being so vague. |

Question: I dont feel appreciated by my friends, how do i make new ones in college? Posted: 16 Jun 2019 06:59 PM PDT i will be a senior in college so i feel like its a tab bit too late to make close friends, the one good friend i had freshman year she made new friends and i always feel left out because i am more of a quiet friend but i care a lot about people ad will always be there for them but i guess she wants loud party people to surround herself with and smoke or drink. besides feeling left out from her plans i feel like she only hangs with me if it benefits her. it really sucks being on this end of things |
Question: Roomate situation in college...HELP!? Posted: 16 Jun 2019 06:55 PM PDT i met of of these girls in my class, so i barely knew her, and she brought her best friend to live with us. Here are some things they do that completely piss me off: -they dont clean the house, i feel like im the only one cleaning, they always see me clean and dont help me or say tahnk you -invite friends when its late and im tryna sleep -they always go out together and not invite me -make plans in front of me -they barely talk to me -i dont feel comfortable becz when i try talking to them the convos sound like we are strangers -they disrispect the fact that im sleeping or napping and talk loud on the phone the lists goes on, but basically you get the point. what can i do? talking to them about this wont help because they are that dumb to chance since all the stuff above is logical |
