Question: Caught my brother looking at pictures of a young child... wtf do I do? Posted: 14 Jun 2019 12:01 PM PDT I'm 16 but my brother is 19. A few days ago, I happened to peak into the room, planning to scare him as a joke. That's when I saw him jerking off to a picture of a very young girl in a bathing suit. I'm talking like 5 years old tops. He didn't see me because he was facing the direction of the computer and I don't think he knew I was home, hence the reason the door was wide open. I could clearly see the picture, but I didn't want to believe it. The next day, when he was gone, I tracked the history and confirmed my suspicions. This was the picture he was looking at... https://www.instagram.com/p/Bvrssb6Bxok/?igshid=1hoj2354ux1vx I don't know wtf to do. I'm creeped out and I feel dirty knowing what I saw. Is my brother a pedophile? How old is the girl in the picture? Will he go to jail if I tell my parents and they tell the police about it? Please honest answers and no degrading me, I just have no idea what to do. I feel like it's a lose lose situation regardless of what I do but at the same time I'm beyond disgusted. |
Posted: 14 Jun 2019 11:28 AM PDT My sister is getting married June 15, 2019. She and our mom has had a rocky relationship. But has always been there or each other when needed. My sister has asked our mom for such expensive gifts and mom always goes above and beyond to make her happy, even if it interrupts mine and our brothers families plans. She doesn t care its all about her, she is the baby and is about 8 year younger then us. Okay back to the question... my sister told our mom in a text that she was basically un-invited to the wedding. TWO days before the wedding!!! This broke our moms heart because all honestly it was a shock. Only thing my sister keeps saying I cant haver her there because of my anxiety. Which I believe is a made up story, because her dad does not like mom and has always bashed her and would keep my sister from seeing our mom when younger. Our mom has a dress, shoes, hotel room, brides gift, and etc. also, has paid out over $6,000 on this wedding. What should she do, go to the wedding or not? I am backing my mother because shes done nothing at all wrong, but love her and try so hard to do anything for her. |
Question: Does anyone else with children not get along with their partners family? Posted: 14 Jun 2019 10:15 AM PDT His mother is an alcoholic and has brain damage and can't speak very well due to alcohol abuse and I feel extremely uncomfortable around her. I just don't enjoy being around his family and would rather not be around that type of person. I get that my daughter will have to be around them a bit but I don't want to be. Is it possible to have children but not have to be around your partners family a lot? Is anyone else in this situation |

Question: My mom still spanks me, is this wrong? Posted: 14 Jun 2019 08:51 AM PDT So, I m 17, almost 18, and my mom still occasionally slaps me on the butt. I ll be standing in the kitchen, waiting for some food to cook while I m on my phone and if she needs to walk past me for something, sometimes she will smack me. I can tell she does it as a joke or whatever, but is there more to that? Should I also her s back? Any answer would be appreciated. |
Question: My mums is too controlling!? Posted: 14 Jun 2019 07:59 AM PDT I'm a 15 years old and live in a Muslim household, and my mum will not let me do anything! I have two older brothers, 19 and 24, and they can do whatever they want which includes clubbing, smoking, talking to girls and she doesn't even care. But when it comes to me she's gets way to controlling, in my opinion. she has never let me go to town by myself, cinema, friends houses, not even a park that I live 5 minutes away from, she won't let me walk school and if I have to she makes sure that I send her pictures of inside of the school to give proof, she's always checking my phone and gets suspicious if I put a passcode on, download an app that she haven't heard off, and makes me go through all of my Instagram and dms. And recently it's even more worse since she found a conversation that I had with a boy that I've known since nursery, just a simple "how are you" and now she thinks that I'm in a secret relationship. Plus she always checking my phone, and took my headphone alway from me Incase I'm calling somebody, and she also thinks that I send nudes ( which I have never and would never do!). And she can not say anything because I have been through her camera roll and founds things that I even regret seeing! (Lmao just exposed her) and she's had multiple boyfriends in the past, which is considered a "sin" in Islam. She claims to be very religious and is trying to get me to wear a headscarf and start praying, but my mum wasn't bothered if my brothers prayed... |
Question: Can my grandma get money as centenarian? Posted: 14 Jun 2019 03:09 AM PDT My grandma is 101 years old, will be 102 in August which makes her a Centenarian. Since she is almost 102, I was thinking it's time to get some money for me and for her because we are both in need. Can we get money because of her age? thanks. |
Question: What to do about a mom who make you feel insecure? Posted: 14 Jun 2019 01:49 AM PDT I love my mom but she's very judgmental and is quick to tell me something i like is stupid or as she likes to say, "gay". I'm 16 and a half and so i've been kind of experimental with my look because i'm bored of it and just want to have fun enjoying life. she totally shut me down when i asked if i could dye my hair black when my hair is already dark brown. I get crap for any clothing i wanna wear that i normally don't. idk what's her issue but everything is dumb or gay to her and every time she makes a remark, i feel insecure and even stupid for thinking i could pull off that hair color or shirt. whatever it is. |
Question: Should I talk to my Grandparents about moving in with them? Posted: 14 Jun 2019 01:21 AM PDT So to start with I'm 14 years old. My father has been sexually abusive towards me and my sister for years. Last year my sister was kicked out so I recently have been getting more of his attention. He started doing this some of the same things to my brother recently (he's 12). We'll tell him to stop and get off repeatedly but he won't listen. My mom won't do anything about it either. One time my father kicked me out of the car cause I wouldn't hold his hand. The next day I told one set of grandparents and so I ended up telling them about everything else he's done and offered to do something but I declined their offer out of fear. My father makes it sound like we're the weird ones. Just recently he brushed the underside of my thigh when I was wearing mid-thigh shorts. He'll get touchy and want us to sleep with him. I don't know what to do at this point. I'm scared that people won't believe me but I can't stay here. I lay awake crying just thinking about living with them for another 4 years. Thank you all so much for your input! |

Posted: 13 Jun 2019 11:50 PM PDT I have never abused or neglected her. At times i may not have responded or reacted as quickly as her aunt. I may not always be so bubbly & full of baby babble like her dad bur im not mean to her, i dont ignore her, i dont hurt her, i go out of my way all the time to make certain she has what she needs & more. I do more for her than her aunt & her dad do combined. So why am i getting treated like this? |
Posted: 13 Jun 2019 09:17 PM PDT Daycare did a donuts with daddy that I attended that brought it up. For mother's day I got her a phone(she needed new one) and a stand up jewelry box and a "mother's" charm bracelet. Not to toot my horn but for context I do at least half the diapers, not many feedings(breastfeed baby), hold her to get her to sleep each night and do most night getups. My point is I truely do contribute a lot and am sorta hurt by her comment after taking care to try and make her first mother's day as great as possible. Just seeing if I'm being unjust in this or if I'm not wrong to feel under appreciated. As an aside I was telling her how few dads were at "donuts with daddy" or did a quick pop in and I was surprised(our first child late last year so still learning) and her response was "well it's just a small event and you usually take her to daycare so it's nothing special that you went". Guess just being negative but got me feeling unappreciated. My first yahoo question so be gentle :). Thanks!! |
Question: My mother said something she shouldn’t in front of my nephew? Posted: 13 Jun 2019 08:13 PM PDT We we are all just having a friendly talk and I asked her for something then she immediately flip it over me and start attacking me with words she bring out my old history that I'm not proud of and I don't want to create a bad example in front of my nephew she made me look terrible and I'm completely upset what to do she really embarrassed me I don't want my image to be ruin in front of my nephew his a teen |

Question: My does sudden noises startle me? Posted: 13 Jun 2019 05:22 PM PDT When my mom barges in to my room without knocking It startles me. My mom looks at me and tells me to stop being paranoid because it's just her. I know it's her. I just don't like the sudden door noise. My room is usually quiet and I will startle whenever she barges in my room without knocking. |
Question: Would this be wrong of me? Posted: 13 Jun 2019 04:19 PM PDT So, my mom drinks a lot, and I hate it. Sometimes I'll gain a bunch of weight, and than lose it, even though I'm no were overweight. It freaks my mom out when I do that. I've been on her a lot about drinking. She knows I hate it, and she does it anyway. Anyways I've lost around 15 pounds this month. She gets mad at me everyday about. Anyway, would it be wrong of me to pretty much tell her, I'm not gonna quit losing weight until you quit drinking? |
Posted: 13 Jun 2019 04:16 PM PDT Corrupticut. They made me feel that being a divorced dad was worse than being a serial murderer or rapist. Even put me in handcuffs and ankle cuffs when I told the judge how corrupt the court was during one if the sessions and was charged with 'contempt of court' was exercising first amendment rights. Ex wife worked for court so they cared nothing that she and hubby#4 were abusing my son. Made me see my son in a little room watched by state employees behind a two way mirror because I dared to butt heads with the corrupt judge, guardian ad litem (GAL) , her atty. , etc. Had a New Haven cop who was friends with GAL Call me anonymously and threaten me. I'll never forget what they did to me and they made me feel that I was worthless as a father and as a man. Ruined my ability to be a father and my psychopathic ex was treated like an angel. Any other dads out there dealing with feelings like this on Father's Day? Of this kind of destruction at the hands of 'family' court system Which still lingers over a decade afterwards And gets triggered by occasions such as Father's Day? |
Question: Should I tell my son he was molested? Posted: 13 Jun 2019 04:03 PM PDT My son was sexually abused by a family member between 11months and 3years old. He doesn't remember the abuse but I could never forget. We recently reconnected with that side of the family and I worry that they will ended up slipping up, or telling him and confusing, or upsetting him. He's 14 now but I've havent had it in me to tell him but I dont want him to resent me for not finding the 'right time's to tell him. |
Posted: 13 Jun 2019 03:39 PM PDT .Actually i have some bad past memories which i never forget. 1) when i was 5 years old i was sexually aboused by my neighbour s servant(♂Male) he was around 17-20 years old. He usually took me to her room & fulfilled his satisfaction then he was washed my hip.He told me it's a game i need to be silent.he did this with me several times.i never told this to my mom. after 2 years we shifted to new home. 2)this one is so painful for me to write. My father was in abroad more than 5 years.then my younger uncle was staying in home & took care of us.then everynight i saw my uncle closed to my mom & touched her many private parts.even my mom didn't try to stop him. then i had no idea about sex. I don't know they had sex or not. But i have doubt. 3) when i was 8 again i was abused by a middle aged man. He was my tutor his home was infront of our house.he always forced me to naked & suck his penis.even one day he show me porn & told he had sex with my Mom. Then i was scared. |
Question: Is 8y/o too young to be masterbating?? Posted: 13 Jun 2019 03:37 PM PDT Kids these days seem to be growing way faster than the previous generation so I dont even know when thing become age appropriate anymore. My sister recently caught her 8y/o masturbating and not long before that found pornos on his phone. I know kids around his age tend to explore their private parts but I didnt think it was to this extent this early on. Should we be concerned. |
Posted: 13 Jun 2019 03:08 PM PDT People who are smart never fail any college classes. She seems to also lose interests in most things and seems scared to talk to people(she sound nervous) but you have to talk to people to get rid of your anxiety. |
Question: My uncle is getting a car for me but I feel like I don't deserve it.? Posted: 13 Jun 2019 02:29 PM PDT I am 19 years old and I've been going through a lot lately. My identity was stolen, a large amount of my money was stolen, I was fired from my job because they wouldn't work around my college schedule, and I even slacked off my last semester of college due to all the stress I had going on. My uncle has picked up several hours of work in a not so pleasant environment just for ME to have a vehicle. I honestly don't feel like I deserve it and I was going to finance a car and pay for it myself. I don't like when other people buy me extremely expensive things and I am afraid I may not like it. I've been at the bottom handling everything on my own so I don't see the need for help now. How can I tell him I'll get my own car without sounding ungrateful? |
Posted: 13 Jun 2019 01:29 PM PDT When she moved in the agreement was she would do weekly food shopping and medication. As time is going on, her grandmother needs more. She has asked my daughter to start doing laundry, among other tasks and she says no. She lives rent free but says she would move out and rent a room if they aren't happy with the arrangement. My daughter says that her life comes first, and that she is not a caregiver. She does follow her end of the agreement but how can we get her to step up and be the caregiver she needs to become? |
