Question: What's a good reason for this situation? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 08:25 PM PDT So my bf & I have been having issues bc in the past I had hung out w someone who he now doesn't like. I only hung out w this person as a friend but he thinks something more happened when it never did. He keeps asking me for reasons as to why I went & hung out w this person. I feel every reason I give him he thinks is bullshit & he doesn't believe it when I've been telling him the truth but he keeps asking. So what's a good reason I can give to hanging out w someone else? |

Question: Was he in love or just protective? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 07:54 PM PDT I was ok friends with this guy in school. He would always stare into my soul like all the time, not looking away for an uncomfortable amount of time. Would smile and say my name when he would see me and tear out someone's throat who was mean to me. The reason why I'm asking your opinion if it was Love was I overheard two friends of his talking saying that. If you think he was just being protective. I don't mind that answer either. I just want an opinion |
Posted: 26 Jun 2019 07:40 PM PDT example can't put family n friends calls that might be important/an emergency over job, money n sleep at least instead working 40-80 hrs a week n killing any time for free time to go to places or meet up It won't work for and did work before so why do you back on the Sam ed patterns u know did not work?! It is always will be deal breaker for me because to me #familyCOMESFIRST which includes friends. So your decision you can continue ignore phone calls n texts for any reason or put family above everything else n show me u will sacrifice for family. That is the major issue have n that the other women meant. Money is not worth sacrificing friends n family. btw where does the extra 28 hrs go when you not sleeping for 57 hours a week few hrs for laundry and like i said almost 80 hrs a week we work? probably still choose your second job instead of hanging. the only thing the woman has is fear of intimacy and he is pressing the issue grow up grammar police |
Posted: 26 Jun 2019 07:39 PM PDT my mentality is always that she is away out of my league, she is too attractive to go for me. or even outside of just looks, I think that she probably finds me boring, not social enough etc. more more negative thoughts, I am not tall enough, she probably doesn't date someone of my race or ethnicity, I am not manly enough. I don't have interesting hobbies |
Question: His friend is still friends with me on social media, is this odd? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 07:20 PM PDT I added her after we broke up to see if she could help me talk to him again. No luck but she's continued as my friend. When a different ex and I broke up he deleted all my friends and family, so that is what I am used to and he was a long term relationship. While this one was very short. |

Question: Should I give my Albanian girlfriend foreign-accent modification therapy? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 07:11 PM PDT I have an Albanian girlfriend who has asked me to give her foreign-accent modification speech-language therapy. I have initially happily obliged. I have just administered the POEC (a foreign accent assessment for adults). I am having mixed feelings if this is something that would be appropriate and ethical to do and if this is something I really want to do at this point. I have past experience working with foreign accent clients during my masters and have succeeded quite well. It is just a very different feeling having a girlfriend as a client, and now find myself having mixed feelings if I should continue giving her therapy. Or might it be a better idea to find her another therapist who does not have a romantic relationship with her. |

Question: She stopped talking to me after I said I see us as friends? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 07:02 PM PDT So there was this girl I worked with and one of the employees spread a rumor saying I liked her and later on it came down to her asking if I do with me saying I like her as friend, then for maybe two weeks me and her haven't talked because of the awkwardness. So a month goes by and our workplace shuts down she then texts me a long paragraph about how she likes me and I didn't know what to do I felt like I would hurt her feelings when I told her I liked her as a friend the first time making it seem like I told her she was ugly. I then ignore the text...next thing you know a day later I get message from her friend all mad asking why I ignored her and I told her I already told her before I only seen her as a friend nothing else. now we don't talk anymore I feel bad for doing that, but I didn't want to hurt her feeling even more even though both ways would probably lead into similar situations I thought she was cool she would always stick up for me at work and always hangout outside of work, but now she want nothing to do with me and don't know what to do |

Question: My boyfriend does not want me seeing/talking to my ex but he is gay? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 06:47 PM PDT I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for about 4 months now. He can be very jealous and over protective but I love him. A few days ago my gay best friend got in contact with me and we agreed to meet up. We only meet half yearly or yearly because he is very busy with his family, male fiancé, work and life. I always look forward to the meet ups. The only thing is my gay best friend is my ex, I dated him when I was 15 for 5months and I dumped him. We only cuddled and innocently kisses (like a peck). We have done nothing sexual also he came out gay straight after I ended it with him. Me and him stayed good friends after. I told my boyfriend I was going to meet up with him but he kicked off saying how I would hate for him to meet his ex's and how I'm being unfair and not understanding of his feelings. I told him everything and I also said how him meeting his straight ex's who he has had sexual relations with is totally different. My ex is also engaged, living with his fiancé and is planning on adopting kids soon with his partner. I explained my feeling to my boyfriend but he still says I'm in the wrong and I'm not respecting his wishing by seeing my ex. I even told my boyfriend he can meet my ex to see that there really nothing going on and for him to get to actually know him but he won't. Me and my boyfriend have now had a massive falling out over it and I'm made to feel I need to give in to finish this argument. Am I really in the wrong? |
Question: Guy I work with likes me - advice? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 06:44 PM PDT So it turns out this guy I work with has a major crush on me. I guess he's liked me from the start of us working together and was just too shy/nervous to say anything at first. I wasn't aware that he liked me in "that" way. I thought he was nice to me for the same reason I was nice to him - in a friendly co-worker manner. I never flirted with him. I would simply treat him nicely like I do all my co-workers (if he'd say good morning, I'd say it back, if he asked a question, I'd answer, etc.). The only reason I found out he liked me was one of our co-workers told me. I guess he had talked to them about it and was saying how much he liked me, so they told me. He finally asked me out and wow. It was AWKWARD! I don't like him in that way, so I politely declined. When he asked if I'd like to go out sometime, I just told him that I had already been asked out by someone (which was actually true at the time). He seemed disappointed, but said that was ok. He won't take the hint though. He still talks to me as much as possible, does random/unnecessary "favors", gets to work literally the same time as me every single day, tries everything in his power to walk out with me each day, and still talks about me to other employees (I know because they tell me he does/what he says). I was informed he still likes me and said he wasn't giving up on me. One of his male friends works with us and he's started acting really weird lately. I don't know if he also likes me or what. The reason I say he acts weird is he randomly stopped sitting with the guy who likes me during breaks shortly after he asked me out. He wouldn't sit with him for several weeks, now all of a sudden they are sitting together again. They always look up when I come in and frequently look in my direction throughout break/lunch. The "friend" has been randomly nice to me too. We haven't ever really talked directly, but he does things for me. He stares at me kind of a lot too whenever he sees me. One of our female co-workers is friendly with all 3 of us. She knew the guy who asked me out liked me. She is also good friends with the other guy in this situation as well. One day when me and him were working in the same area, she seemed extremely happy to see that we were together. She looked at me, then looked at him and smiled big. She then made him say hi to me. He seemed really embarrassed/shy, but he did talk to me. I found it weird, but I was nice about it. I know the one likes me like I said... but what's the deal with his friend? Is he just acting weird because the other guy likes me and I turned him down? Could he also like me? How can I find out without asking? And what do I do about the original guy not leaving me alone? I said no for a reason - he just isn't my dating preference. He isn't attractive to me at all and just isn't my type, though he is a nice guy. |

Question: Does she have a pretty figure? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 06:22 PM PDT |
Question: How to approach this guy at work? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 06:21 PM PDT I like this one guy I work with. He seems really nice/friendly, I know we do have a couple things in common as far as likes/interests go, and he just really seems awesome. I'd love to talk to him more and get to know him better, but as stupid as it may sound, I don't know where to start! I don't know if he's single or not and if he's not, I wouldn't want to risk making him uncomfortable. Right now, I'm just looking for a possible friendship outside of work because he seems like someone I could get along well with. We don't work directly together very much (aren't often in the same department), so I mostly just see him in passing or in the break room. The break room is also crowded a lot, so you just sit wherever is open. How can I determine what he thinks of me (whether he'd be interested in friendship)? He does have tattoos and I like them - they're not distasteful, they're very nice. I've thought of asking him about them/complimenting them, but I don't want to be weird or awkward. I can't figure how he feels based on how he acts. I do notice he does look my way often. If we're working near each other, I catch him sneaking glances my way. If I'm walking by, he'll look. A lot of times when I'm near, he whistles too. It's not like a "cat call" whistle - just a random whistle. As an interesting twist, the one other guy who he's kind of friends with acts a little odd around me now. Me and this other guy (the guy I like's friend) have talked multiple times and have worked directly together several times. He's playfully teased me/joked with me, he's laughed hysterically over super small/unfunny things I've said, etc. He also acts very loud around me now. Like him and the guy I like will laugh SUPER loud together or otherwise seemingly try to get me to look their way. I don't work directly with the guy I like's friend very much anymore, so I can't really ask him anything. He still smiles at me though when we see each other in passing and he'll talk to me occasionally when we have the time to. I kind of don't know what to think of them really. I notice the guy I like almost seems a little shy or nervous around me (hence the whistling I guess). When we do work together, he definitely looks my way, but looks away when I look at him. As an example, the guy I like almost bumped into me by accident. We were both coming out of the bathroom and he wasn't looking and almost ran into me. When he looked up, he hurried and moved, apologized and kind of gave a nervous laugh/smiled. I smiled back and said it was ok. It would be nice if he talked to me first, but if he really is a shy guy, I know he won't. I wouldn't mind saying something first, but I don't want to be weird/inappropriate. I would just like to try a friendship with him. |

Posted: 26 Jun 2019 05:17 PM PDT So I've know this guy for about 5 years he's my best friends boyfriend and we spend a lot of time together, I'm a gay Male and he's a straight guy. We always flirt and have shared a kiss a few times (secretly) and recently we done some sexual things, since then I can't stop thinking about him and I feel like I'm falling for him. Posted: 26 Jun 2019 05:16 PM PDT Say you're in the 35-40 range and a girl that's 22 that you dated for 7 months and lived with for a few months then broke up with tells you that she would drop anything in her life to be with you again. The sex was great and she was willing to do anything to keep you happy but she had a jealous temper and was dramatic. She would flip out if you changed plans or things didn't go exactly how she wanted them to. She also was attractive (EE cupboobs)long bleach blonde straightened hair, mexican american girl, short 5ft tall or so and pretty skinny with tattoos She says she will drop out of college, move away from her family and posts things online that say "I will throw away my life to be with you" "Hes not just the 2 am thoughts when I'm alone in bed, he's the 3pm laughs when I'm with my friends, the 6pm dinner when I'm in the kitchen and the 10pm drinks when I'm at the bar trying to forget his name. He's always on my mind and he'll never leave" She also obsessively posts about him on different accounts and alters her appearance to get his attention. Everytime they get into an argument she gets a tattoo and goes out drinking. Would you be turned on or turned off by this? I know a guy who is very turned on by this and other guys tell him she's trouble but he loves the attention...is this normal |

Question: Is it healthy to see ur gf or bf everyday? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 04:57 PM PDT I know there are couples who live together but I've been wth my bf for 8 months. Everyday every second I'm free he wants to spend time. He gets me after work even around midnight, on my days off I'm at his house. All the time. He says he loves me and he does show care and love but lately I've been so angry with him for no reason and I think I just need space . My work is mentally draining g dealing with people all the time and I just feel mentally fried .. he also has to constantly be doing something with me which is a good thing but sometimes I like to just stay in and relax . I have hip problems and I have a cold right now and he still asks what should we do tomorrow when we already have plans to go to the movies at night he wants to do something constantly. Does he not like quiet time with me ? When he's sick I don't suggest going out but he does it's like he is constantly bored |

Question: Does a man still enjoy sex if a woman's vagina is loose? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 04:40 PM PDT |
Question: I slept with him and now he ghosted me? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 04:24 PM PDT So i currently live in TX, but used to live in UT. I've known this guy John since HS and we are both 23 now, we've always talked and were always into each other. So when I went down to visit UT and he invited me to his house party I was excited to see him. After drinking all night, we slept together in the morning. After that he became distant and said it was due to school and work, but he's messaged me a lot beforehand and had school/work. I spent the night with him Thursday-Saturday, and Saturday was my last day. So we had one last night of fun! He also gave me Disney ears from Disneyland, which was a shock since I didn't expect him to actually get me something. We kissed goodbye and from the way I viewed it we left on good terms. However, since I've left to Texas he has not messaged me at all. I've texted and snapped and he leaves me on read. He watches all my stories and likes my photos, but he's left me on open for 5 days now. Why is is he ignoring me? Should I remove him off social media? Do I stop trying to talk to him? |
Question: Should I distance myself from her? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 04:22 PM PDT I have known this girl since January and we have become friends even though we are not that close yet. I wanted to get to know her but a couple of months ago I found out that she gets drunk to the point of blacking out and lets guys take advantage of her which is how my ex was before we started dating. She does not see sex as a big deal and does not mind hookup whereas I prefer sleeping with girls I am dating, this made me realise we might not be compatible. Two weeks ago it was my birthday and she spent the entire day with me and even gave me a birthday card with messages from all my friends which I thought was a sweet gesture. I enjoyed spensing time with her and she told me quite a bit about her family, something which she only shares with close friends. She also kept talking about how hot other guys were which seemed like she was trying to make me jealous. I have been quite cold towards her which she pointed out by mentioning how I barely care about anything but that is only because my ex cheated on me and made me stop trusting people. I like this girl as a friend and she seems nice but so did my ex. In the past when I have had a gut feeling things would not work out I ignored it and went on with the relationship but this time again I feel like things won't work out between us. Should I trust my instinct and distance myself from her or give her a chance |
Question: My boyfriend chooses computer games over spending time with me? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 04:13 PM PDT I try to be supportive of his game time with his friends, and never make him feel bad for playing, but he also plays every night until the early morning, and even after he wakes up. He still thinks he doesn t get enough time to himself. He says that he wants to hang out, and that he loves me as much as video games, but it s hard to tell if that s actually true. What can I do? Should I back off for a while? Is this normal? |

Question: Why do most Hispanic girls love me? But at the same time most White girls hate me? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 04:00 PM PDT I'm 18 years old, I'm Jewish/White, I'm a guy, and I have a learning disability. Around half of my friends are girls. Don't get me wrong, most of my friends that are girls are white. However since I live in a pro dominantly white part of the country most of the people I meet are white. I noticed that many white girls that I meet, I either don't connect with or it takes me a while too. But at the same time when I meet Latina girls, I would almost instantly bond with them and become friends with them immediately. I would say maybe around 60 - 70 percent of Latina girls I meet, I become friends with and I actually developed very close relationships with them. Why is it that I connect more with Latina girls than white girls? |
Question: Why does he do that? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 03:50 PM PDT If he sends a text to me and I don't answer in 1-2 hours, he'll send another text. He slowly stopping to do that. When I text him back, he replies in a millisecond. If text "okay" or "yeah that's fine" to certain things like him wanting to invite people to an event, he'd jokingly react like why do I text that way. And decide to call it a day. I always text like that with all my other friends and they don't ask me why. Sometimes I don't have much to say because it's almost an all day thing and I'm working or doing other stuff anyway. He's like 5-6 years younger than me (I'm 27and he's like 22) felt a Certain way about me not inviting him to my birthday get together when I'm not that close to him. We just started texting more frequently in the past 1+ month. He's cool but Why does he do that? |
Question: Is it weird me and my ex are best friends ? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 03:49 PM PDT So long story short me and my ex met through work and when we first met we got on really well and he eventually asked me out and we went on for about two months but it didn't work out because I had just came out of a relationship and I want ready for another one so we agreed to just be friends but as time went on his feelings for me got stronger but I wasn't sure if I felt the same as him so things got a bit awkward between us but as time went on we both moved on and he has a new girlfriend and I also have a boyfriend now too but both our partners don't like the fact that we are so close and I do get where they're coming from but it's just me and my ex work together in the same environment and we have to talk to each other and also we literally are like best friends we tell each everything and we have known each other for over 2 years so we know each other really well. I get why they don't like us being friends but nothing romantic would happen so what's the big deal about us being friends and why does everyone thinks it's weird |

Question: I am so angry at my husband for so many reasons. And I don’t want to forgive.? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 03:30 PM PDT He has pretended not to see me in front of his ex. He's broken up with me, because he said I put my parents before him. Stuff like that. You see he was my first everything at 24. Kiss, boyfriend, everything. I feel he didn't value me. I stayed because I love him. But now we're married and I live so frustrated. I don't trust him, I feel he'll hurt me again. |
Question: How to initiate deeper conversation with my partner to get to know him better? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 03:30 PM PDT I recently started dating a man about 4-5 months ago after being casual friends/acquaintances for a couple years. He's a wonderful guy who treats me well and makes me laugh with his never-ending humor. I'm happy. We see each other often and never struggle to carry a conversation together but we haven't really discussed anything to "deep" yet and I've noticed myself yearning to feel more connected by getting to know him on a deeper level. I think this is normal considering we're both 28. Don't get me wrong, I know some of the more personal thing about him but there's so much more I want to know. I guess I just don't really know where to start and specifically how to start the conversation. I find it difficult to open up sometimes but I'm willing to be open with him. I just need a little healthy advice on how to get started. Thanks in advance! |
Posted: 26 Jun 2019 03:25 PM PDT My boyfriend tells me a lot whenever we go out that he saw attractive girls or whatever. He'll be like, "I saw a group of girls, most were ugly but there was one really pretty one." Like, okay. Why are you telling me this??? He does it a lot kind of... Yesterday when we were walking, we walked by a girl and he was like, "Wow, she's really hot." And I told him to stop calling other girls attractive, or at least dont tell me; keep it to yourself... What does this mean? Does anyone else have this problem? Is this a red flag???? And what should I do? |
