Question: My wife wants me to change me, is this what you expect from your wife? Posted: 14 Jun 2019 12:58 PM PDT She wants me to speak with her in a certain way, speak with people in a different way, go out in certain times that she thinks acceptable, and to hardly see my friends. She doesn't communicate that clearly but becomes angry then starts crying when I am just myself! I hardly ever asked but her to wear or look in a way that I find appealing, but she thought I was intruding to her privacy! |

Question: Should I be concerned? Posted: 14 Jun 2019 11:25 AM PDT My husband came home after his night shift with writing on the side of his arm. I asked who was writing on him, and he said "it's just writing." I asked if it was his female coworker and he said "yes." His coworker is always texting him, so I just find it very odd that she wrote "Hosey" on him, which is how her son spells his name, from what he told me. Should I be upset? |

Question: Question about a behavior of my wife (shyness maybe)? Posted: 14 Jun 2019 10:46 AM PDT I am a USC, and I met my wife while working in Asia. We have been together nearly 7 years. I returned to the USA, she followed. She took a high security job here in the USA where she worked for six months. When we took steps to adopt her nephew, she had to quit her job and fly home to retrieve him. She returned with him, and had to go though the background check again to go back to work. She is no criminal and did nothing wrong. It only took a month because the FBI was backlogged. She was embarrassed (as though she had actually done something wrong). She refused to call the HR department to check the status on her background check. They have been trying to contact her for over a week. Why would she not call them all this time? |
Question: How to deal with depression and marriage? Posted: 14 Jun 2019 10:15 AM PDT I'm in a foreign country with my husband and his family. His family doesn't like me and my husband says I am difficult to please. I think his life would be better without me. I can't work, I can't drive, I am stuck and alone and falling deeper into a dark hole. I don't want to just go home and fail at marriage. I don't want to live anymore. I dont want to live anymore because being away from home, being isolated, giving up the life I had before has made me feel so depressed that I don't want to be here anymore |

Question: How Do I Stop Her From Being Controlling? Posted: 14 Jun 2019 08:35 AM PDT How Do I Stop Her From Being Controlling? So I am in my late thirties and my wife is early thirties. She is so bossy. She wants to tell me what to wear and what to eat and how to do my hair. We have been together 9 years. At first it wasn't so bad but now it's just annoying. I try to talk to her but she just gets mad or she pouts and tells me I am not a good husband. What can I do to get her to see how serious I am? |
Posted: 14 Jun 2019 06:34 AM PDT We are both in our early 30s and have been dating for almost 3 years. Moved into his house a year ago so been living together for just over a year. Made sense for me to get rid of apartment since was at his house, that he owns, almost all the time. So my point here is we are not legally married but physically and emotionally has been a marriage type committed relationship. Last weekend he proposed marriage and I said no that was married briefly in my early 20s and never do that again. Since than he has been moody and slept in one of spare bedrooms. Last night it came to a head and he asked me to move out says sooner the better. |
Question: Is my partner a hypochondriac? Posted: 13 Jun 2019 03:14 PM PDT I have a long term illness which means the smallest cold or injury can put me out for weeks. I've noticed that every time I get sick my partner says he has the same symptoms. For example when I injured my knee I was bed bound for a few weeks and he started to walk with a limp claiming he had knee pain also. When I got the flu he started coughing and said he was coming down with something too (he wasn't he was fine). It happens so often I've started to find it odd. Is this some kind of sympathy thing or is he a hypochondriac? |
