Question: My friends are asking why I went MIA a few years ago, should I answer them or not? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 05:23 PM PDT So my friends are asking why I was gone, but I'm scared if I tell them what I had gone through, they will act weird around me. What happened to me was I was with a guy who didn't care for me and I was nothing more than his toy. I was raped, beat, and pretty much abused in every way and it has a strong impact on me as a person. I honestly don't mind telling them what happened i just don't want to be pitted. |

Question: My friend only talks to me when her best friend is gone.? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 03:18 PM PDT She only talks to me when her best friend is gone. I do understand that she has other friends and her life doesn't revolve around me, but whenever her best friend is gone she doesn't even acknowledge me. I think of her as a best friend. I think she's great she helps when I'm in need but when her best friend come to school she doesn't even talk to me, meet my eye. She just completely ignores me and it pains me. |
Question: I need a valid excuse to switch roommates? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 03:02 PM PDT I'm a freshman in college and I'm moving in August 18. We got assigned roommates randomly and I got assigned to someone I don't know, she's hispanic. One of my friends got assigned to a random girl too, she's while. Me and my friend are both black. We've both spoken to our roommates and they're cool but not to make it a race issue, we would feel more comfortable dorming with each other since we're already friends. Can someone please give me a valid reason to present to the RA as to why we should dorm together? With the consent of the other girls of course. Please don't tell me I should use this opportunity to meet new people or whatever. I just want an answer to my question |
Question: Do you think my supervisor knew the way I was feeling? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 02:43 PM PDT I was doing a presentation for two supervisors, one of them I had a bit of a crush on. So I was trying my best not to look at him for the entire presentation that went on for an hour including him asking me several questions. I noticed the other supervisor kept smiling at me like he wanted to laugh. At the end of the presentation I started feeling really turned on. Do you think they knew how I was feeling or what |
Question: Why do I laugh when people get hurt? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 01:43 PM PDT lost a bunch of friends because of it |

Posted: 27 Jun 2019 10:43 AM PDT Say you're in the 35-40 range and a girl that's 22 that you dated for 7 months and lived with for a few months then broke up with tells you that she would drop anything in her life to be with you again. The sex was great and she was willing to do anything to keep you happy but she had a jealous temper and was dramatic. She would flip out if you changed plans or things didn't go exactly how she wanted them to. She also was attractive (EE cupboobs)long bleach blonde straightened hair, mexican american girl, short 5ft tall or so and pretty skinny with tattoos She says she will drop out of college, move away from her family and posts things online that say "I will throw away my life to be with you" "Hes not just the 2 am thoughts when I'm alone in bed, he's the 3pm laughs when I'm with my friends, the 6pm dinner when I'm in the kitchen and the 10pm drinks when I'm at the bar trying to forget his name. He's always on my mind and he'll never leave" She also obsessively posts about him on different accounts and alters her appearance to get his attention. Everytime they get into an argument she gets a tattoo and goes out drinking. Would you be turned on or turned off by this? I know a guy who is very turned on by this and other guys tell him she's trouble but he loves the attention...is this normal |
Posted: 27 Jun 2019 10:22 AM PDT Jealousy is a damned hard emotion to fight. I turned down a scholarship to care for my parents. I felt noble at the time. Now I find out my best friend has got the same scholarship. Instead of feeling noble, I feel stupid. |
Question: How do I prepare good Seth for a fight with evil Seth? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 10:19 AM PDT At my job there are 2 Seths, one good and one evil. It's a call center with a LOT of people and several projects, Evil Seth works with me and I see Good Seth only on breaks. I've never seen Good and Evil Seth interact with each other so it's possible they have never really met. But I want them to fight, and I want Good Seth to win. (OBVIOUSLY). But I'm worried that Good Seth won't be preparer or willing to fight, and I'm also worried about the finicky moral ground of fighting- obviously it's good for good to triumph evil but this is where the good guys most often get corrupted on TV. How do I make these two fight while maintaining good Seth's goodness and ensuring Evil Seth's destruction? Yes. I'm serious. |
Question: Should I forget about it? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 09:55 AM PDT You don't make plans on your birthday but your two other friends hang out? They wish you and all but they aren't obligated to invite you if you didn't make any plans right? |
Posted: 27 Jun 2019 07:41 AM PDT Hi I am not trying to be mean and I understand how hard it is to lose a job, but I have a friend that, every since she lost her job in January, keeps asking me for money every month. At first I didn't mind giving it to her but now it's become a regular thing and I hate to say it, but I'm starting to feel resentful and I feel guilty about it. I am by no means rich but I have had a steady job and been with the same company for over ten years so my financial situation is stable. I am always aware and try to keep in mind that I could be facing the same situation one day and someone may have to help me but where do I draw the line? She is looking for jobs but has some issues with her background. I want to suggest looking into fast food to her because she is desperate but I don't want to seem like I'm trying to tell her what to do. And I know it's easy to say what other people should do when you're not in that situation so I'm not trying to come off as some kind of know it all to her. I am just getting annoyed and I hate that I feel that way. Again, where do I draw the line? |
Question: How do I handle my friend’s reaction to my ex boyfriend’s comment? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 07:26 AM PDT I'm in my early 30's and I've known my friend since high school. She is like my sister. I've been dating a give who is abusive and controlling and yesterday I ended it. He knew I was with her because he asked me to do something because I had just blow up at his boss and basically got fired. He texted 'Did you tell Katie how crazy you tell me she is and all the **** that she does. I should text her all the **** you say." My friend had my phone and read the message. I admitted to her that yes sometimes I do describe her behavior as crazy, but I explained I've told her some of the behaviors. It's not that she's totally unaware... I explained to her he's trying to ruin my relationship with you. Don't you see? Us having a good time. My friend ended up going home. She travelled so far. I felt horrible that my asshole boyfriend made her feel terrible. What do I do? I yelled at him. She holds onto things for so long. Is our relationship over. She left saying 'I hope you have a nice life with him' or something like that. Please help me. |

Question: Who is superfly and why did bullseye swap him back to Indiana with a flyswater? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 06:28 AM PDT I was listening to the c.b radio (citizen band radio) A bunch of men were talking, and they talked about how bullseye swat superfly back to Indiana with a flyswater. They were asking do you need to be resessitated superfly? What the heck are they talking about? |

Posted: 27 Jun 2019 01:42 AM PDT I've lost most of my close friends due to betrayal, all different situations. I'm starting to feel like it's my fault because after they betray me, I do something childish like tell their secrets as revenge. I don't do that after an argument, I only do something that childish when they betray me to the point I no longer speak to them, such as sticking up for a guy who assaulted me. At this point I'm extremely lonely and am starting to wonder if something is wrong with me. |
Question: How can I cope after being raped by a close friend? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 12:46 AM PDT I had a "friend" who I considered to be close to me, he introduced me to one of his friends and we have been talking for a little while now. He left for the summer and I continued to hang out with our mutual friend. One night after a lot of drinks he raped me while I was hardly conscious in my own bed. I feel like my world is wrecked, like I'm not in my own skin anymore. I didn't know why I didn't go to the police or why I didn't say anything. I'm usually really outspoken so i can't understand why i stayed quiet. I'm afraid to have sex because i don't want to break down and have to explain.. also scared of telling the guy I'm talking too because that's his good friend. I don't know how to get through this. |

Question: What's so special about the popular kids? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 12:37 AM PDT My friend praises everything the popular kids do. She puts them on a pedestal. She acts like they're so special. She tells me all the time about how they don't like me. How they think I'm weird. She acts like if they don't like me then it's the end of the world. I just don't get what's so special about the popular kids. |

Question: How can I get some good friends of mine to stop fighting? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 10:15 PM PDT Two of my friends have been having issues lately and one has been debating leaving our group because of it. How can I help them work things out? They won't give me any details on the fights that caused this but I want to help as much as possible |
Question: My roommates kid is out of control.? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 09:47 PM PDT About 3 months ago I moved into a condo near my university, with a friend. My friend does have a 2 year old. I have baby siblings and like children so I wasn't really worried about living with a child. However I now have some serious concerns. Something isn't right with this kid she screams, and cries for HOURS on end over nothing at least twice a day. It has messed up my sleep so much. I show up to class drained some days. My friend doesn't do anything about it she just sits there and let's her kid act this way. It's honestly pretty disturbing. I think something isn't right with the kid maybe colic, or a food allergy. I know my sister is allergic to dairy and used to scream like that whenever she would eat it as a kid, until my parents figured it out. I don't want my friend so feel judged but her child needs help. It's so loud to the neighbors have asked me a couple times if everything is okay. I'm not a super assertive person, and I really don't know how to deal with this. Please help. |
Question: Can I toss out my roommate's plates if he doesn't wash them? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 09:02 PM PDT Ever since we moved in over 8 months ago he has maybe once or twice taken out the leftovers he leaves in the fridge and that is if one of us tells him. He doesn't like to wash his dishes. He leaves them there for one of us to do. He puts grimy dishes in the dish washer and they dont wash properly, resulting in us having to do them by hand. His gf comes over and leaves a mess. AND NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES U TELL HIM TO CLEAN UP AFTER HIMSELF... HE'LL DO IT FOR 1 OR 2 DAYS AND THEN REGRESS.... his gf made him some sort of pastry and literally no one has eaten any of it for the past maybe 7-9 days and he won't throw it out even though the three of the other roommates have asked him to please toss it. he'll just put it back in the fridge. it has now been sitting on the counter for 3 days. I want to toss it out (oven ceramic pan and all) I'm tired of him leaving dirty stuff for us to deal with. he doesnt work and plays video games all day, it's not like he can't do it, he just doesn't want to. do u guys think it's too hostile if i just... toss out the whole thing? even if the ceramic pan doesn't belong to him? |
Question: My best friend is ignoring me... and I don't care? Posted: 26 Jun 2019 08:21 PM PDT We're in college and are currently in separate states, and recently she hasn't been texting me or has been ignoring snaps I send her (she opens them but doesn't respond and she used to, always). She skips over what I bring up in conversation and doesn't even acknowledge things I say. So my question is, even though I love her so much and I wish it wasn't like this, I'm kind of fine with out friendship breaking up/ getting weaker? I do care, but it's more in a way "Damn this sucks. Oh well". Like I'm letting the friendship go, not "fighting for it" or whatever. Thoughts? |
