Posted: 17 Jun 2019 07:57 PM PDT long story short this regular used to come in a lot, was really chatty and friendly towards and i ended up really liking him and thought he felt the same way. the last time he came in he told me he had a girlfriend and was really pensive, not his usual self. after that he stopped coming in for like a month and it hurt me really badly not only that but because i liked him and thought he felt the same only to find out he was taken. i finally started accepting the fact that i won't ever see him again and was starting to get over him. then just last week he came in and the first thing he said was long time no see i felt numb for a second and confused, he started talking to me and kept on looking at me. my manager asked him why it took him a long time and he just said he was on a budget, she made a comment that she thinks he's single again because he was scruffy. anyway i didn't think he'd come in again and that it only a one time thing and then today he came again, and asked me how my weekend, how swimming was, and what my favorite part of my weekend was which i thought was random and weird but yeah anyway. it's hard seeing him and trying to fall for him, especially when I don't know his relationship status.. but does it mean anything |

My plan was to give it back after class and introduce myself. Well after class she immediately said can I have my pen back which totally caught me off guard. We barely hang out because he works every night and in the summer he gets one day off. His job is stupid and he always talked about getting a new one where he has days off so he can see me more and we can actually be a damn couple. He always waits for excuses though. He blames him not getting a new job yet on things that he knows are coming up and it's like he waits for those times so he can say "I wish I had a new job" or something. He could have been looking for one during the times he had but he didn't. I told him "it's like you purposely wait for a time where you need the money you're making now" His taxes are one excuse. He has a whole year before taxes come again but he didn't use that to look for a job. For the three years I've been with him, every time his taxes came by, he would complain about needing a new job. Then today I called him before going to work and expected to be able to see him(I didn't have to be at work for four more hours) and I thought he would want to see me but I asked if he was going back to sleep and he said yeah and I didn't say anything after that. These are just little things that happen. I miss him and told him that. He's always tired which I get that. But he isn't making an effort to find a new job which makes me think he doesn't want to go anywhere with me but he says he does. I feel I am wasting my time. He's hardworking. But the thing is, I see him only one time a week. He hangs out with his friends way more than he hangs out with me. And he's told me before that if he doesn't want to text, he'll tell me. At the time,we were kids,14 years old. That time I thought that relationships were a bit meaningless but that's another story... Shortly after I followed him sometime last year, i added him on snapchat & he added me back right away. He's been viewing my story for months (he doesn't really ever post so it's not like i can slickly swipe up on a story or anything haha) and i'm just tired of wondering what it would be like to know him and i just wanna text him already. we've never ever had a conversation so i would be the first to start one, but i don't know what or how to text him on snap. I don't wanna bring up any common interests that i know we have from instagram because that comes across as stalker-ish, and i don't want to boringly just say "hi" because that still comes across as creepy, and he'll be wondering what i want from him. is there ANYTHING that i can say that will open up a conversation without coming across as creepy?? |
