Question: What type of shoes would be good for a bride at her fall wedding? Posted: 09 Jun 2019 01:53 PM PDT I getting married in southern Ontario in mid October and trying to figure out type shoes to wear. It can be warm or cold (seriously anywhere between 0-30C) in October here. I need them to be flats and comfortable. Any ideas? |
Question: Is this the crazyest wedding ever? Posted: 09 Jun 2019 09:46 AM PDT I was at a wedding of a couple of my friends recently. They both have an unusual sense of humor. As the bride entered the back of the church, she was escorted down the aisle by her former husband. There was an audible gasp from the audience. When the minister asked who gives this woman ....... her former husband said I do. There was applause from the audience and some laughter. The theme of the wedding was out with the old and in with the new. Do you think that was funny or just plain tacky. |
Posted: 09 Jun 2019 07:45 AM PDT Not hurt or mad at all. It is perfectly understandable as I am sure there are about 100 2nd cousins. So it is not that I am taking any of it personally or anything. However, she had hoped to have my branch of the family. So as of last Christmas I was really excited for it. However, I found out in spring that he had to downsize the wedding list and is only having 1st cousins and the one group of 2nd cousins that are the closest and have a grandmother living nearby. So my Chicago branch won't be asked. Again, all perfectly understandable and by no means am I offended or anything. However, I was so excited about the wedding and a possible California trip for it. I had heard "we look forward to having all of you" when the engagement was announced last summer. So how do I get over my disappointment about this? Do not count as a close relative to this cousin if not asked? Meant to say at the end do I count as a close relative still, not does not but do I. |
