Posted: 05 Apr 2019 05:12 PM PDT When walking past each other in the hal. I have never even had a conversation with him ever. Honestly, I have no friends at this point in time and he is just about the on,us person in that office who says hi to me. It is as though I see him as such a nice guy just for saying hi to me because I literallu have no interactions with anyone, that is just pathetic. How do I get over it? I know that I mean nothing to him. Also I'm not a woman who gets any male attention so I think that is why I'm thinking of him. I'm in my thirties and have never been friends with a man, never even been asked on a date. Only one guy pretended to be friends and he treated me poorly and the whole thing was fake. Actually, I don't really want to get to know his guy either because I'm afraid he will treat me poorly like the last guy. A part of me hopes he keeps saying hi to me. I will feel bad if he stops because he is the only person slightly friendly to me |

Question: My friend is faking her accent what should I do? Posted: 05 Apr 2019 01:15 PM PDT I have known this girl for only 2 months, she told me that she moved here (Oregon) from Alabama but I found out that she is lying, her sister also goes to the school, I just met her sister like a week ago, I didn't even know she went here. Her sister doesn't have an accent and she told me that they are from California. My friend talks with a fake southern accent, I believed her at first and now I feel dumb. She came her thinking she can fool people, trying to be some southern girl. The accent isn't bad but I know it's fake now. Should I confront her or just let her have her fun? |
Question: I asked this guy to be fwb, but now I actually like him. What should I do? Posted: 05 Apr 2019 11:57 AM PDT This guy asked me to hang out with him several times. Both times I told him no and instead asked him if he wanted to be friends with benefits. He said yes and that he has always been into me. So we met up at a hotel and when we got there he asked me to hang out with him. So we went out and then came back and had sex. We both had a nice time together. And now I realize that I actually like him. No I'm not saying I want to be in a romantic relationship with him. I like being friends first but I do actually like him. I only told him I wanted to be friends with benefits. Because I didn't want to end up liking him. He didn't ask to be friends with benefits I did. |

Question: I told him I only wanted to be friends with benefits but now I actually like him? Posted: 05 Apr 2019 11:29 AM PDT This guy and I met up for sex (I met him a few years ago where works and he and I are only friends) but before we actually had sex we hung out. We went to the movies, to the arcade and out to eat. Then we went back to the hotel and had sex. I actually enjoyed his company regardless of the sex. I just liked being with him in general. I told him I had fun and he said he did too. I wish I could tell him how I really feel but I'm afraid. (Initially, he asked me to hang out with him he never mentioned anything about sex. First, he asked me to go bowling with him but I didn't go with him. Then he asked me to meet him at the Opera. I didn't go there with him either instead, I asked him if he wanted to be friends with benefits. And he said yes because he had always been into me.) |
Question: How do I become my friend step mom? Posted: 05 Apr 2019 11:16 AM PDT I want to become my friend step mom so I can be in charge of her |
Question: Should I reach out to an old friend? Posted: 05 Apr 2019 10:09 AM PDT I have an old friend from high school whose sister has recently died (they meant everything to each other). My old friend was one of the first people I knew when I moved to that city, so I have known my friend and her sister for almost a decade. My old friend and I drifted away when we went off to college. I probably haven't seen/talked her in going on to three years. My question is: to those who have had a loved one pass away, how did you feel when people who haven't talked to you in years contact you because of a death? |
Question: Do you think I embarrassed myself infront of her friends? Did i look like a baby? Posted: 05 Apr 2019 08:50 AM PDT I have a mother figue in my life who is more than a friend to me, she is like a 2nd mom. She is in her 50s and I am in my 20s. We hold a deep bond, she is special to me. She calls me every single day to talk. We live far away from each other so she is not always able to be at my college award ceremonys or my birthdays or things like that but we visit as often as we can. She always tries her best to make it, although unexpected life things come up with the both of us.. I was crying in my office tonight because of how much I missed her and how much I wish she could make it to my events more... She called me when I was sobbing in tears and she was on speaker with her older friends (in their 60s). She heard my voice and asked what was wrong. i explained how i missed her and how it saddens me that I cant have her at many of my events (even though I completely understand why) and that i wish i could be around her more. She gave me a pep talk on the phone a long with her friends giving me warm words. She told me she felt sad that i was so heartbroken but told me how much she loved me and how i could go visit for 2 weeks in a month. Did i look dumb infront of her dear friends? I was in tears and just letting my heart out. It was a rough night.. |
Question: How to cope with annoying girl's behavior? Posted: 05 Apr 2019 07:41 AM PDT In my class I have a very annoying ex who is very entitled and thinks she is the center of the universe. Anyway, she is trying to make me jealous by talking to some of my other friends. She has treated me bad, but why should I go back to her? Anyway in FCS class when my friend and I make food she thinks she has the right to come and eat some of our food that we made without asking. Grrr It ticks me off! How to tell her how I feel about everything without her ignoring me? |
Question: How do you deal with a friend that mistreated you? Posted: 05 Apr 2019 07:27 AM PDT I've been friends with (Alya) for a long time, we've always been together and so we were close. Alya was very rude to me sometimes and I would ignore it because I knew she was that type of person. But it soon became problematic because she was distancing herself from me and has been hanging out with another girl, and didn't want anything to do with me anymore. I thought the other girl was stealing my friend because she didn't like me that much and all she wanted to do was be with Alya. I was very upset because at the beginning it has always been me and her and now this other girl has been trying to push me out of her life and Alya couldn't see that. So one day I tried sitting next to Alya and she was with "that girl". When I approached them Alya was like "uhhh what are you doing??" when I tried sitting next to them like I always do. Then the girl started laughing at me when she said that. At that point I've decided to just stop the friendship with the girl and Alya, it wasn't the first time they have done that to me. Now that I've stopped talking to Alya, it hurts that she hasn't tried to ask why I've been behaving like that. Then I came to the conclusion that Alya doesn't really care about me. The relationship has always been one sided,I have always been trying to make an effort in keeping the friendship but Alya just one day stopped treating me nicely and it hurts! She thinks I'm worthless and she said I'm childish We no longer talk. Should I just let it go? |

Question: Why does it feel so hard to talk to people? Posted: 05 Apr 2019 06:54 AM PDT I have heard that when I grow up and live out in the real world, it ll be very hard to meet people. They often say that it s so easy to make friends and to meet people in school and college, but I can t see their point because as a high school senior soon to graduate, it feels so hard to interact with anybody. |
Question: How to let go of an employee/friend? Posted: 05 Apr 2019 05:57 AM PDT Over a year ago, I brought someone on part-time to help with my small business and we became friends. (I know this is warned against, and can totally see why, now.) I've come to realize she's a good manipulator when it comes to getting what she wants (i.e. increasing her hours, getting me to introduce her to my friends and professional contacts) - She lays on the flattery, is pushy about things like increasing her hours and maybe going into business with her. (How about ... NO!) When she doesn't get what she wants she gets very emotional and sometimes turns on the tears. I've had enough. After much thinking, I really don't want her working for me anymore. It's causing me more stress than good. It just feels like a tricky thing to do, since I've let her get so close in friendship and work. Thanks for any advice. |
Question: My friend has my SSN number? Posted: 05 Apr 2019 03:20 AM PDT My friend was going through my wallet and I didn't really care but then she saw my SSN card and was like "oo im gonna take your identity" then she took a picture of it. Now she telling ppl she has my ssn card and I kept telling her to delete it and she wouldn't. I told her to give me her SSN number and she was like "I don't know it" and the thing is we're still in high school and we're not even that close of friends so if she doesn't want to delete it I'm just gonna tell someone and stop being friends with her. I know you're not suppose to give ppl your ssn number and I should've been more responsible then having it in my wallet. What should I do? Should I tell the principle? I don't k ow who to tell . |
Posted: 05 Apr 2019 01:43 AM PDT Today my best friend thought it would be a good idea to smoke weed (which is illegal in this state) on school grounds and he got caught doing it and now he won't be able to walk at graduation because of it So i messaged him about it and basically asked him what the .... he was thinking and that what he did was stupid And then i told him that I knew he was better than that and that he shouldve atleast waited until he wasn't on school property to light up a blunt, and how he could've gotten a lot worse of a punishment such as jail time and having a criminal record which the school luckily didn't go that far and all they did was transfer him to an off campus disciplinary building during school hours And then he messaged me back saying that I was being a complete asshole to him and that I was a fake friend for it But i didn't do it to be a dick, i did it because I cared and i was just trying to be real with him because I don't want to lose any of my friends because they got locked up for making stupid choices I mean we were 2 months away from graduating and he messed it up for himself But now i feel like a piece of **** friend for telling him all that because i feel like i went to far Was in the wrong? I even told him that I wasn't trying to be an A hole, i was just being real with him because I care |

Question: People at school think i'm weird what should I do? Posted: 04 Apr 2019 11:54 PM PDT I have autism, I have tried my entire life to hide it, I have never told anyone that I have autism. I am 15 years old and my friends asked me if I am autistic because I get overly excited and flap my hands sometimes, I just get a lot of energy and get excited and I do have autism, it is true but I told them no and came home crying. They call me weird when I get overly excited but it's like I can't help it. What should I do? should I just tell them that I do have autism? |

Question: Roommate threw away my drugs? Posted: 04 Apr 2019 09:36 PM PDT Roommate threw away my Benadryl, lol wtf? I just bought it yesterday, a whole 48 tablet pack and I only took two. Came home today, couldn't find it, now I see the empty packet in the trash. how do I confront tomorrow? They're asleep. |
Question: Should I drop my best friend? Posted: 04 Apr 2019 08:59 PM PDT We have been friends sence 6th grade. We are about to become seniors and im not really sure if I want to continue our friendship. He expects me to be available at every time he needs me to help him with a film project he is working on with some other people. And when I said I might be unable to make it he made jabs at me about how he will find someone who can actually commit. This made me feel horrible. So when I change up my plans to help him he rescheduled for a different day. Abne he will make jokes about the way I am as a person to me. And overall he makes me feel horrible about myself. Anyone got any advice? |
Posted: 04 Apr 2019 08:30 PM PDT I hate this person more than anything on earth, and the only reason I've been so energetic and motivated to become the best is to belittle this person and show him my power and capabilities. |

Question: My friends constantly exclude me. What should I do? Posted: 04 Apr 2019 06:17 PM PDT Yesterday, almost everyone in my friend group hung out together after school. Today, they did the same thing. They never tell me when they're gonna hang out, so I always find out from them the next day or at random. Today, they did the same thing. I'm 13, and we've been friends for years, and it just feels really shitty for all your friends to hang out without you, especially when they always talk about it the next day. What should I do? I can't make new friends, I got to a very small school. I'm changing schools for high school, so should I just grin and bear it till then, or should I bring it up? Update: My friends aren't "the popular kids". It's either them or "the popular kids" and they're pretty mean, plus we're pretty different kinds of people. |
Question: I have almost no close friends? Posted: 04 Apr 2019 06:05 PM PDT Well I'm a senior and I have prom in 1 month and my best friend was supposed to go with me and she decided to leave and go in a group with people she just met this year when I've known her for 9 years. We got in an argument and she was rude for no reason so I sent a harsh paragraph and she blocked me on all social media's like a child would do and she screenshoted the messages and are showing people and talking more crap behind my back and she's getting people to turn against me. I really don't have close friends anymore from school and I do not know what to do |
