Question: Help me with my psychotic Mother? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 01:47 PM PST I am a 16 yr boy, she complains about everything I do to the way I eat, move, sit and breathe. She states that I lost myself when I ve never even done something wrong. Im just a normal kid that never smoked, got high and I always get good grades. I barely even leave the house except for school and hang out with my 2 close friends. She sees my every move as not normal or perfect and she s always nagging and she s very strict. Demands me to sleep at 8 pm and never lets me eat anything other than her own cooked food. Because she claims that I ll get sick or get cancer if I even dare touch a chocolate. Doesn t let me hold money . I can only play video games every friday after school. Whenever she slaps me or get infront of my face she got this scary deep hatred in her eyes. She acts the same way with my father. I dont wanna live like this everyday. I always feel like crying whenever i see her |
Posted: 01 Jan 2019 01:27 PM PST My sister was watching a show about the Golden State Killer I never heard of him till now for some reason he's been on tv a lot lately. He broke into this family's house in the middle of the night trying to kidnap this girl her dad came into the kitchen daw her out there with him he shot her dad twice killing him. Then he hit her on the head with his gun then took off now she afraid to sleep alone. We're like that girl we live out in the country in the middle of nowhere only a few houses around us. We're not allowed to have a dog. We don't have security cameras or nothing it seems like our parents don't think nothing bad could ever happen to us. These people who get kidnapped and murdered think it could never happen to them. We had no one come to our house in the middle of the night yet we lived up here for 16 years unless it's Labor Day we have people come for our cookout that's the only time we have people up here at night. She's really scared I can't tell her it's not real because it is our door is always locked at night. How can I help her feel better ? Is it OK to sleep with her ? If we did have a dog he probably kill it because one of his neighbors said that he complain about dogs and poisoned her dog |
Question: Is the Lopes Cardozo a royal or noble family and from which country or kingdom? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 01:09 PM PST I am from the family of Lopes Cardozo and Aylion. We have a crest, on top there is a lion with what seems to be a sword or distel. Under it there is a knight and that again two lions with two swords or two distels crossing each other. Or that says to sinopels. In the discription of our crest there is a discription and also says Don Antonio Boaz de Villas y Sampayo. I wonder what the crest means. |
Question: How can i teach my grandma to appreciate the artistic value of extreme black metal? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 12:59 PM PST She's kinda not too enthusiastic about it |
Question: Was I wrong to have slammed the door on my mom? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 12:55 PM PST I understand it was completely rude but she was talking over me and didnt want to listen to me. Im trying very hard to move out on my own. Im working on my credit, saving up and trying to find another job. My mom and me dont get along. Period. And I feel that wont change until I move out on my own because she will always see me as a child and Im not a child. Done deal. I always pay the bills on time and work extra hours just to pay them so its irritating sometimes. Today she was upsetting me. Right now Im extremely sick and Im seeing the doctor tomorrow. So excuse me. My patience is very low... so I quietly went upstairs to avoid mom. Then she came upstairs to vacuum and speak to me And started off by saying... "Maybe you and your sister can move out and gain more responsibility" I told her my points and she kept repeating herself so I slammed the door...sorry i just couldnt handle it. I will apologize later when both have had time to cool but should I have handled it differently? |
Question: So I’m 17 and I want to move in with a family friend .? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 12:13 PM PST ved back onto the mainland 2 years ago. Now they're moving back and I want to ask my mom if I could go back with them . My school situation isn't the best there's always so much drama and I'm sick of it . Plus if I lived in Hawaii I would get instate tuition for UH which would save me thousands of dollars. How do I go convince my mom ? |
Question: Help... Almost had sex with first cousin.? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 11:13 AM PST Okay so,I am 17 and my cous is 15.Last night, she was at our house. My siblings planned to watch a movie and invited me. During the movie, my cousin was acting awkward towards me. Sometimes she'd lock her fingers with mine or rub her feet with mine. Later she put my fingers in her mouth.I told her to stop but she wouldn't listen, so I just let it happen. Then she pressed her cheeks against mine. She then started biting my ear before kissing me on the cheek many times.I gave in too, kissing her cheeks before she French kissed me which tbh surprised me.I soon returned the favor and then we started kissing too much passionately, but before my siblings could notice, we stopped. Then my cousin took my hand and put it in her pants, making me rub her cat while her hand pressed my friend and moved it up and down. I put my finger in her cat making her moan a bit louder which caused us to stop as my siblings noticed. Anyway we waited till the end and once the movie was over and we were alone we kissed like animals, then we undressed each other, sucked on each other's nipples before she took my friend in her mouth and I licked her cat.She sucked on it till I exploded covering her face with that juice. Then she kissed me goodbye. In the morning she woke me up with a kiss, saying that she wants to do it again sometime. It was fun, but I feel guilty, I have a gf and my cos is just 15, I wanna keep my relation but Ik if she asked me to do it again, I can't resist. Plz help, what should I do? |
Question: I (14f) have to clean up after my older brother (21m) please read description? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 10:20 AM PST As the title suggests, I have to clean up after my lazy older brother who shouldn't even be living with us in the first place. He's also always on these weird deep-web drugs, and each time he's caught with it, my mom and her fiancé always just give him another chance. He's even assaulted my moms fiancé once or twice, yet they keep giving him second chances. Not to mention does he play his music so loud I hear it from the street on a daily basis, and am actually concerned for the life of my molting hermit crab because of it. At the you'd think he could up his messes, since he's more than capable (and will sometimes berate me about MY cleanliness) but I still have to, and my mom does nothing about it. We left him alone in the house for four days because we wanted to go to Pittsburgh, but he didn't. (I'm not quite fond of the idea of leaving him alone for that long, especially if he's taking care of my cat and hermit crabs... but for whatever reason my mom thought it'd be fine) I told him he'd have to clean her litter box for her, and spritz my hermit crabs sometimes. That's all he had to do, that's IT. He'd only have to clean it once, but instead I come home to find out he had not bothered to clean it out (ofc) but there was also fresh cat **** all over the rug. |

Posted: 01 Jan 2019 09:05 AM PST Our neighbour is a very jealous woman & envies what my family have. So she always says bad things about us. She said bad things about my cousin brother and he walked over to her house the first time & confronted her about it, she kept on bad mouthing him so he kicked her in her side. She stopped for a while but then kept on doing it so he later went over & broke her right arm with a piece of metal. Now she doesn't say anything bad about him anymore. But she still does it to my own family & I. I want to confront her but my family tell me to ignore her. I feel like we're being snivelling cowards the way we're dealing with this. Like our ignorance is just making her feel she can get away with this & we're just her punching bag so she just keeps on doing it. Is violence really the only way to make her shut her mouth? Coz it made her stop doing this to my cousin brother but she still does it to the rest of us who ignore her. |

Question: Discovering your aunt late? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 07:30 AM PST My father doesn't come home very often. But when he does he sometimes invites me to go to my aunt. I have met her like 3 times in my whole life and I don't see her as a family member sadly. Mostly because I've already grown up and got this image of who my family is printed inside my head. So it's weird being around somebody you never knew in your childhood, when in reality that person is a close relative to you. Especcialy if she's from a whole different culture. I've grown up in a Dutch culture, when she was born and raised in a Turkish culture. They have different norms, food, language and such. What to do? |
Posted: 01 Jan 2019 07:29 AM PST I am 22, my mother doesn't answer my phone when I call her. It's been weeks and I have given up communicating with her, my father's girlfriend wants to get rid of me and never let me see my father. What's weird is my mom is close to my grandma.. my dad tells me the only reason why his family is nice to me is because he has money. My family wouldn't let my cousin stay at their house or feed her without her having to pay them.. I don't know what's normal? Are families like this? Is this normal? |

Question: My dad's love for me is not genuine? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 05:49 AM PST I'm 19 and I love my dad so much but I feel like the love he has for me is not genuine. I'm in university, I didn't get a scholarship and he pays for my course have older siblings who are really smart with who did amazing in school got a scholarship when they were my age and my dad treats them like he's kids. The reason why I say he treats them like he's kids is because never once has my dad and I had a conversation. We talk to each other like we're stranger. When I come to watch tv with him, he sees me and walks out of the room. The only time he treats me like he's kid is when i achieve something amazing like scoring an A+, graduating from HS. Other than that he treats me like some stranger. I've always felt I've had to earn he's love by archiving something great like my siblings. I apply for the bursary scheme every semester to save money and make him.proud but he couldn't give two cents about it. He dosent ask what I'm studying. I was suppose to be a boy but I turned out to be a girl. I feel like he does things for me because it's he's responsibility. I don't think he does it because be loves me. In HS he has never given me advice in anything or said he's proud of me he never came to a school event I was participating in, he was either out drinking or in a business trip. When it comes to his grandkids who are now in HS, he goes to their events and gives them advice and he just loves them. I love my dad so much but I just want he's love more than anything. What do I do? |
Question: My grandparents like my 3 and 5 year old cousins more than me :(? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 04:26 AM PST Don't get me wrong, I love my grandparents. They have done a lot for me throughout my life. So is it selfish of me to ask for more? I am 15 and my brother is 16. When we were young we maybe saw our grandparents 2 or 3 times every few months. And I always assumed that was normal, to be fair we live an hour away from them. Then when my auntie had had two children a few years ago, I realised that a few times every so often is nothing compared to once or twice a week. My grandparents visit my 3 and 5 year old cousins every single week-and my cousins live an hour away from my grandparents too! My grandparents have every phone background as my two cousins, their fridge covered in my cousin s photos and their walls covered in my cousins s artwork. There is one photo of my brother and I throughout their whole house. My grandparents took my cousin to every single one of his starting school transition days last year. But my parents had to take time off work to take me to mine. According to my mum my grandma said that my mum s mum should do the same for us. But she knows full well that my other grandma is 90, lives alone and has 11 children/30 grandchildren to look after. I don't think my grandparents realise what they are doing but I realise and it really hurts. I do really love my grandparents and am so grateful for everything they do for me, but do you think this is fair? Please be honest and tell me if I am wrong. |

Question: Did my father sexually abuse me or is it in my head? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 01:47 AM PST My father took all our money and left me and my mom with one of his relatives, promising to return and bring us to this house he was building. (He brainwashed me as a infant to think he was an architect, only to find out recently, at 17, that he never had a job.) I would get in the bathtub that my father drew when i was around 4-5. He would then leave, i would strip, get in the bath, and close the shower curtain. A few minutes later, he would sneak into the bathroom without me hearing, abruptly rip the shower curtain open, and blind me with a camera flash. He would laugh and walk out, meanwhile i would be annoyed. When i would confront him, i was always upset. He would tell me i was raising my voice and id get spanked. He used to force my brother, who is 10 years older than me, to get naked and stand next to me. He would then take a picture. At this time, i was even younger. Mayber 3, so my brother was 13. I remember my brother telling my dad no, and then my father would pick him up, and throw him against and through the wall. I remember telling my dad it hurt to pee when i was around 4. He yelled at me to strip, aim the shower head at my vagina and try to pee. When i told him it still hurt to bad to pee, he spanked me and locked me in my room. I remember trying to crawl past my dads side of the bed to get to my mother, because i think i knew this was wrong and i knew my mother would help me. But he would always catch me before i would reach her. Am i over thinking things? |
Question: Jealous of my sister and mother in law? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 11:39 PM PST Im 38 weeks pregnant so it may be my hormones making me over protective but it seriously bothers me that my sister and boyfriends mom (sons grandma we have a good relationship) are starting to have a relationship because I feel like that's just weird I would never wanna be that close with my sisters boyfriends mom after all I am dating her son not my sister lol. I'm the one that brought them together because of my baby shower and she use to coach my sister in high school but they were never really close then and honestly my sister didn't like her and gave her a bad rep to my mom because she thought she was bitchy. Then I tell my sister I only want my boyfriend in the delivery room for personal reasons and she said she wants to wait at the hospital with my boyfriends mom since she already made up she's waiting in the waiting room. I just don't like the thought of them having a relationship maybe because people always compare me and my sister. |
Question: How to convince ur parents to let you do more stuff? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 11:09 PM PST I have a single mom who rarely lets me go to parties and is always asking are there going to be parents, whose house, etc |
Question: I left my mom, her bisexual gf, and my siblings and now I'm the bad guy? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 10:16 PM PST Ok so, I'm 17 and honestly, I hate my mom's gf, I hate the fact that they're getting married and having new kids, and I HATE that my mom is "in love" with another f*cking woman. Basically, their relationship pisses me off and she knows this. Anyways, my parents divorced like when I was 10 and then like a year after she met some woman at a store, but I thought nothing of it. Afterwards, I kept seeing that same woman come over to my place every once in a while. Again, I thought it was weird, but I never thought of it much up until 2 years ago when my mom came out to me and my siblings about her identity. Afterwards, I had to deal with seeing that dyke's face pressed up on my mom's lips. I became sorta like a trouble child. I kept getting into school fights and I grew some type of anger issues, but I always maintain good grades to the point where I've gotten a few honor rolls. As I mentioned, my mom knows her wack a** gf pisses me off and me and her gf always argue. I've already cussed her out for trying to act like she owns the place, but my mom kept saying **** about me acting "arrogant". Her gf always gets mad at me just for eating in my room. Which always results in an argument. Finally, I grew tired of dealing with that hoe so I decided to move in with my grandparents. My mom didn't choose her over me, but I told her that I ain't dealing with her gf and now my siblings are now telling me that she's sad and that they blame me. How am I to blame when it's all the dyke's fault |

Question: My mom is angry at me, what do I do? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 08:32 PM PST This is just a summed up version of the long paragraph is was going to write. I pushed my little brother lightly. He started crying and my mom came into the living room and threatened to "throw away" my pets. I grab her forearm softly to not hurt her but to hold her back. She tells me to stop hitting my siblings and to sleep in the living room. I oblige and grab my stuff. After a few minutes I have another argument with her. I told her I was old enough to make my own decisions and she laughed and told me to go back to the living room. I went back to my room and she is threatening to take my phone away. What can I do to make her less angry and also tell her that I am old enough to make my own decisions? |

Question: I feel lonely on New Year's Eve? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 08:05 PM PST I am 13. One of my sisters is 20, the other is 22. They are both gone, celebrating New Year's with their boyfriends. My mom and dad are still home. But I miss my sisters, I celebrated all of my New Year's with them. I thought at least my grandparents would visit, but no, they can't tonight. How do I cope with the loneliness? Have you ever had similar experinces? I don't want a "but you get spoiled for being an only child!" excuse, I miss my sisters! |

Posted: 31 Dec 2018 07:06 PM PST For a long time, I was the bad apple. The child that strayed off the path. And for a long time, I was. But I learned my lesson and improved my life. I'm in community college, with a 3.83 GPA. And i'm going to Texas A&M or UTAustin. My parents treated me like second class while treating my sister like a queen. They thought she was smart, did nothing bad, etc. Now, after her first semester at University, she came back with a 1.7 GPA. She failed her classes. My parent's drug tested her and found weed in her system. They went through her stuff and found all sorts of drugs. And here's the kicker, they went through her phone and saw that she is dating someone. And they found that she has been drinking and smoking weed since junior year of high school. They found out everything. (My mom can find anything if she tries hard enough). They are so disappointed in her, and I feel happy. I feel so happy, like really happy. I knew about this but never said anything cause I didn't want to start a fight. And they probably would not believe me. Is it bad that I am happy? Like, shouldn't I feel bad for my sister. Please help. I feel like I'm not being an asshole. |
Posted: 31 Dec 2018 06:23 PM PST It sgetting out of hand, the thing is, it only seems to happen to me. He doesn't fight with my brother or with my mother, it's only me. I rarely speak anymore because I don't want to get into trouble. Nobody else has a problem with me except from him, I'm not sure if this is a type of autism or something else that could be helped with treatment, but I doubt he'll go and get tested. I really need some advice on what to do here |
Question: My mother gets drunk everytime we do something special? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 06:22 PM PST She lives alone, and a few months ago she got so drunk that she could hardly walk, and she kept peeing all over the place. Thank goodness I went to go weed wack her house, and found her on the ground. I had my grandma, and grandpa come up, and help me deal with her. My mom kepped telling me to leave her alone, but I refused and stayed the night. The next day she was saying she just cant drink anymore. It seemed so sincere, and I thought that was the end, of it, but now shes wanted and sitting by the stereo crying while everyone else is talking, and (trying) to have a good time. Me and my family are just so sick of it. I said countless times I would pay for a counselor so that she could talk to someone experienced with this subject, but she just blows it off. Anyone else ever have a family member like this? I'm afraid shes iether going to die from alcohol poisoning or get drunk and kill herself. |
Question: What to do when a family member admits to using racial slurs? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 05:13 PM PST I am black but my husband and adult stepson are white. My husband and I just discovered that his son casually uses the N word with his friends. He stated that it is just a word but he would never say it in front of a black person. They have had serious discussions in the past and my stepson used to say that no one should be using it period. At some point his opinion on it changed. He was most likely influenced by one friend in particular. My husband taught him from a young age that it is never okay to use such a horrible word. My husband is devastated that after doing his best to pass on his values they clearly have not had much affect on his son's belief system. My husband feels just as strongly about the word as I do. I honestly don't want to be around him at all anymore. His presence is just going to make me uncomfortable from this point forward. If he was only a friend I could very easily just end the friendship. Unfortunately we are tied together by marriage. How can I deal with being around a family member I no longer respect? |
Question: My mother lives with me and doesn t want me saying nothing in My own house to her? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 04:36 PM PST Like every time I tell her something she gets defensive esp when I m running my house as I choose. I really don t know why she s here , she sold her house and moved in with me in October- since being here it s arguing and bickering with her and I in my house about my household rules. In her old house, she was full of drama and arguing until me and my sister moved out. It s like I can t say what I want in my house. |
Question: How to cope with relative or family that don't want you? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 04:24 PM PST Since a young age I was beated and emotionally hurt by my parents and surroundings (specially the surroundings because my parents believed they were always right). Now I currently live on a matress in the living room in my dads small apartment in the Netherlands. I have worked for a very long time, having several severe mental breakdowns, until the last one from last year. I tried looking for jobs everywhere even the place I worked before for a little money, but it didn't work. I don't know how to move, find a new house or even get my life together again. |
Question: Why don't we take care of our parents? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 03:20 PM PST If you can afford it of course. Plenty of people can afford it, have tons of home space, but still leave their parents in a cramped nursing home with lazy nurses. |

Question: I’ve found my mums nudes?!? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 02:18 PM PST so basically I was looking on my mums ipad (that's used by the family) and on the camera roll there was a topless photo of her. Obviously I clicked away as fast as I could but I can't get the image out of my mind. My mum is such a calm, quiet person and would be the last person i'd imagine to take a photo like that. Also i'm concerned that another member may see it as it's in the family ipad. Any advice on what to do would be appreciated |
