I haven't acted upon these but I know the prisoner feels the same. I need to tell someone about how I feel because I am losing sleep over it but I don't want to lose my job. Can I be fired for admitting to having feelings even though I've never acted upon them? Any help appreciated |
| Question: Getting back your self esteem? Posted: 03 May 2018 02:50 PM PDT I recently got broken up with by a man who said we have no future together. It was a rather short relationship (a few months) but I thougt things could work. He was older than me and had a very sucessful job at an international firm, a car and an apartment while I was still a broke student. One day I was having a very bad moment and confessed to him that I feel like I have no direction in life. We had an argument about our views in life and afterwards he dissapeared for a few days. Later he came back and broke up with me via text saying that he thinks his girlfriend should represent him and he sees no future with me. The whole thing broke my heart and even after I moved on my self confidence was still a reck. After he dumped me I actually got into a phd program and got an internship which was good but somehow all of these achievements couldn't fix the pain that someone whom I loved made me feel like such a looser. Anyone have an idea how to win back your sense of self worth? |

I went back to his apartment and had sex, then we saw each other for a little while. I didn't realize how old he was until later. He's moving to another state so we broke it off before it got that serious. |
