There were a number of issues that we had not truly addressed and I had been taking adderall making me a nut job. I have since stopped taking it in attempts to show I can change but made me needy and pushed her away. She is with someone and says she wants to get back just not now. I am a boy in college living in a dorm. When I I see a girl dormmate behind me approaching the entrance to our dorm (from outside into the lobby), I make sure to open it for her. One Monday, I was coming from school to pick up my check at work and I parked in front of this Toyota Sienna the minivan. A girl I work with had her mom pick her up that day and that was their car. I'm in a classic situation of being close friends with a guy and have begun thinking we'd have potential as a couple. That is, if there wasn't a circumstance that would make it awkward if things didn't work out (similar to entertaining dating a coworker). Until it changes, it's "risky" to directly pursue anything. Doesn't mean I don't ocassionally think about it though. In the last ~6 months (out of 3 yr friendship) I've noticed a shift in the depth of our friendship. We talk about personal stuff quite a lot when we're not with others and truly care about and trust each other. And that's where it gets grey – I care about him as much as I do about my "family" female friends - and so does he. I am very untrusting yet we trust each other completely. I'm not looking for affirmation at all, more a realistic perspective. I know he's thought about it, but since I've known him he hasn't been looking for a true relationship. So I've been seeing this guy for about 5-6 months. First off, I have a past that he can't really accept. I've had a dozen partners before him (who weren't boyfriends except for 2 and that's a problem to him) and one of those includes a guy who he knows and who he was friends with. I m naturally very social. I go out with friends all the time, meet new people, and attend every church event possible.
