When my daughter was 18 her stepmother and I moved out of state. She decided to stay and support herself working - she had always been a very independent individual. Last month she told me her GPA went to a 3.8 to a 3.5 and she was struggling to pay rent. Which I obviously helped with, this has been a reoccurring issue this past year (she's 21 now). She told me this morning that she is moving back home in 3 weeks ... and my wife was not a big fan of that. It felt almost as if she was entitled and it's kind of inconsiderate to spring on someone with no notice. Which I agree - my wife said we should help her find an apartment and she told us that it's not feasible. She's really struggling in NY and moving to FL won't be much different. She wants to live with us this last year and she said pay rent and everything like that (which is not the issue at hand). Are my wife and I overreacting? What would you do if this was your daughter? ***Notbing she said was rude. She was very very excited and eager to tell us over the phone. We always said the door was open to come home, primarily because I believed she never would she's always been too proud and very driven to accept help of any kind. My husband and I rent the basement at his mom house and his sister rents the top floor. We got married last year and I needed an lease agreement to send to immigration because I'm applying for the green card. His mom said she would only give us the letter if we changed our taxes, where we claimed the rent we paid her and that apparently she didn't declared. We met today with his mom and my husband had me explain to them why we couldn't change our taxes now. we have checks wrote to his mom and we use one of the rooms as an office for his business, so it was declared as business expense. they kept saying that we can do it we just don't want to do it ( his older sister was at the meeting too, not the one that shares the house with us tho) half way through my husband got upset and left, I followed him. Later on his sister texted him saying that they could see that I was the reason why he won't change his taxes. Not only didn't my husband stand up for me and said that it had nothing to do with me but he offered $3000 to his mom to help her with the taxes. I didn't do anything wrong and it doesn't even have anything and for some reason I'm being blamed and my husband couldn't even stand up for me instead he offered money to them like he was agreeing with everything Ps: before all of this his mom had already given everyone in the house 30 days notice.

I'm having trouble in my sociology class

My husband and I have 3 kids. Mine from a previous relationship, his from a previous relationship and ours together. He's flat out told me before that he loves his first one more than our baby we have together. He spanks our baby for small things like peeing on the couch while having her diaper changed. But his 3 year old son gets by with peeing in the floor smacking my oldest daughter and throwing screaming fits because he dosent like the color of his juice. To top it off he just left me here with our sick baby who is running a fever of 103.3 to see his son play teball at a practice. I'm all for hime supporting his son but it's like his son is the only child he cares about. What should I do? Am I over reacting?

So I am seriously thinking of proposing to this girl so, and we had our standard weekend date. So we started at Taco Bell. I've been "kind" and helpful for years on this and I honestly think it just enabled it to make it worse. He refuses to go to a counselor.
