Question: Should you feel obligated (maid of honor question)? Posted: 01 Jan 2018 09:05 PM PST I was my sister in laws made of honor at her wedding to my brother. We had become very close and she was an only child and did not have many close friends and during their relationship I kind of became her best friend, so she asked me. Well I am getting married now and I am trying to figure out if I should feel obligated to ask her to be my maid of honor. I come from a large family and was going to ask my sister to be my maid of honor, but I don't want to upset my sister in law by doing so. Is there some kind of rule to this? I don't think she'd get made if I didn't ask her, but I was just wondering how others handled something like this. |

Question: Best friends are planning a wedding the weekend I leave for a vacation.? Posted: 01 Jan 2018 08:56 AM PST My best friends are planning a wedding the weekend I leave for a vacation. They knew ahead of time that I would be heading out of town, but still insist on having it that weekend and that I reschedule a family trip with multiple members going. Do I miss the 1st two days of my trip, try to see if my family members will agree to reschedule, or just not go to the wedding? Originally I was suppose to be in the wedding, I no longer believe that is the case because of this. The vacation has been planned and paid for already before they started planning the wedding. |
