Question: Can a bridesmaid wear a ring to the wedding? Posted: 25 Jan 2018 11:19 PM PST Im standing up in my brothers wedding. I wear my grandmothers engagement ring on my right hand. I haven t taken it off expect to clean it and have it inspected occasionally at the jewelry store for loose stones since she passed 10 years ago. Im wondering if I have to take it off for the wedding or not. Its maybe a 1/2 karat and not flashy, and am willing to turn it around so the stone does show and only the thin plain band shows. Am I being unreasonable in not wanting to take it off? Both my brother and I were very close to my grandmother, I know he wouldn t mind me wearing it but I don t want to step on the brides toes with jewelry sections. |
Question: How to express your Love with Perfect Engagement Ring? Posted: 25 Jan 2018 09:53 PM PST This is a once in a lifetime investment for your sweetheart. An engagement ring is not only a ring; it is a token of love & emotions, that will remain cherished even years after the engagement. It's more important to focus on her personality and style than it is to find the biggest rock to put on her finger. following this https://www.glamira.com.au/engagement-rings/ |
Question: Where should I get married? Posted: 25 Jan 2018 07:39 PM PST I'm getting married and I'm struggling to pick the location because both places hold a special place in my heart, my families heart, my fiancè heart and his family as well. My fiancè and I met in Annapolis, MD when he was at the USNA and from there we have called Annapolis, MD home and we visit my family in the Greater Philadelphia Suburbs. Since I was a little girl...my family went to the shore and we stayed there all summer and have most of my family who lives there and we have so much history there. All of my family members and siblings have been married at the shore and at the church our family has been members of since 1912. We go there in the winter to visit and for events. My grandparents and their parents grew up at the shore and I have such found memories and remember as a little girl saying I would get married there at the church in June and have the reception at the golf club. Stone Harbor, NJ has my heart and always will. My fiancè parents live in Colorado since my soon to be MIL was an Army nurse practitioner. But...we've also thought about getting married at the USNA chapel and having the reception there since our love story started there and I went to college in Baltimore and now in medical school in Baltimore. I'm very torn between the two...what would you guys pick? Why would you pick one over the other? What are your thoughts? |
Question: Is this a good price to charge as a wedding DJ? Posted: 25 Jan 2018 04:58 PM PST So a guy messaged me earlier on Facebook for prices to DJ for 4 hours at his sisters wedding. I asked him when, where, and how many people are gonna be there? He said to me that it is in October and he told me the place and he told me that there would be around 250 ppl there. I don't know exactly how much i should charge since i never DJed a wedding. I researched for prices for wedding DJs and i was thinking about charging $700. Is that a good price? I know I'm gonna ask A LOT more questions. |
Question: Can I still call it my hen do? Posted: 25 Jan 2018 12:04 PM PST So all my friends have let me down. I invited 6 girls to my hen night and all of them except one can now make it. Different things have cropped up and I feel really disappointed. My friend has suggested we change our plans and go abroad somewhere fun! I really want to but I'm worried it won't really be a hen do just the two of us. I really wanted to wear a veil etc too and feel special and my friend said I still can. I'm worried I will look like an idiot without a group around me. What do you think? |
