Question: When a house is split in divorce, how do the proceeds divide? Posted: 23 Jan 2018 07:56 PM PST I always wondered how it works. Say, for example, a husband and wife divorced and they both owned a home that the judge allowed one of the spouses to remain in the home until the children turn 18...to divide it equally upon sale. If the house was initially mortgaged/bought at $100,000 and the spouse that maintains the family home put work into the home and the property value rose to/sold at 150,000 at the time of sale, does the other spouse get 75,000 or 50,000 when required to split 50/50? Or am i just totally wrong about it all? Thanks in advance! |
Posted: 23 Jan 2018 07:17 PM PST Just curious for any polygs...in trying to understand the dynamics: If jealously is a daily experience, why not get rid of sister wives and not subject yourself to seeeing yoour husband hold hands with another woman and leave you to sleep in her bed, in your home? No judgment, just curious what the benefits of staying are |

Question: Why would my husband not be interested in kissing? Posted: 23 Jan 2018 06:36 PM PST We kiss all of the time, at random, when he comes home, when he leaves, when I come home/leave, before bed, etc. but I wanted to really kiss him and give him a passionate kiss because we never do this anymore, and he just acted odd. I said give me tongue! Just being playful, as we were just finished watching a show and ready to just go do something else. And he just acted so weird, like he couldn't give me tongue, or a playful french kiss, which is what I said as well. It's just weird to me. Im his wife and he can't do this again? He did it just fine when we first met, which was only a few years ago... just was surprised. Why would he resist? I asked him and he got annoyed, saying there's nothing wrong. I said I feel like I must be gross or something, and he looked at me all over and said no, and it was believable. (I know I'm not "gross" I just didn't know what else to say. Puzzled here.. |
Question: I’m not receiving child support like I should? Posted: 23 Jan 2018 06:24 PM PST Early 2017 my ex husband and I finished our divorce. I got full custody he gets her every other weekend and tuesdays and thursdays from set times. He was also ordered to pay child support. Over the past 5 months or so every time his job would start taking out the support he would quit, find another job and quit again when they'd start taking out the support (which can takes weeks) he tried to get it reduced and got denied immediately, so now I don't know what to do. How would I go about reporting this? Is there anything the system can do? I locein indiana by the way. |
Posted: 23 Jan 2018 05:54 PM PST Is it ok for him to do this? Am I controlling his movements by feeling hurt whenever this happens? Here are examples of happenings and I will explain how I feel about this and why I am confused about all of this. Examples of multiple occurances almost every social space. He signals to other women, moves shopping cart around their butts behind in check out lines, signals them from across the room, moves over to where they are. Last happening he signaled a woman from another area of the grocery store over 50ft away and moved over to where she was. He passed by her and put his arm out to cover her neck. She tried to walk in front of him and they moved around each other like this. This just happened with a different person 2 days ago. I told him it bothers me because i feel neglected by him and a gaping in my right side when it happens. I feel physically sick and tired. He is pissed off when I talk with him about it. He tells me I pick at him every day make him look like a dummy tells me he is going to give me future money and don't worry for him, walks around in hot dryness for hours refusing to cool down. We have a baby together. I'm also breastfeeding and up all night with the baby. Im out of power. This couldn't be because he doesn't find me to be attractive anymore. I'm in excellent shape and dress nice nice hair it is what he likes and I like myself externally. Sometimes I feel too conservative in my body because I'm afraid of failure. Maybe I'm lacking inside. |

Question: I don’t have respect for my husband anymore am I wrong or being unreasonable.? Posted: 23 Jan 2018 04:40 PM PST I don't feel like he's a good leader. He gives money to anyone with a sob story. And he treats all women equivalent. Like it was a time we were planning on getting a divorce. and he had a women he was dealing with for only two weeks and he was going to fly her to see him (btw he lives in Japan) then he isn't a man of his word. He claims to do things a lot but gets upset and doesn't fall through. Am I just being a brat and unreasonable for why I don't respect him? |
Question: Is it wrong to impregnate a woman that s trying to get pregnant with her husband? Posted: 23 Jan 2018 04:11 PM PST A woman approached me about being a potential sperm donor due her husband having a low count. She wants to do it anonymously without her husband knowing, that way when she does get pregnant he will think it was him. I m not entirely sure how I feel about that. There s like positives and negatives to doing this. I won t have any legal obligation and I won t ever see them. It s a very cliche movie scenario, so any advice would be nice. |

Posted: 23 Jan 2018 03:08 PM PST My soon to be ex-husband is already talking with another girl. We decided on a mutual split because neither of us were happy. Should I say something? We were together for 12 years and he's moved on within a week. I guess I'm more jealous that he found someone faster than me! |
Question: Am I overreacting or should I be worried? Posted: 23 Jan 2018 01:52 PM PST I have recently found out my husband of 3 years has been watching porn online for the last 2 years he has been deleting the iPad history and never lets me near his phone he forgot to delete the internet history that's when I saw we discussed it and he told me it was a one off but while we were on holiday last week me and my daughter had gone to the pool area we came back up but my husband didn't realise when walking into the room he was watching porn on our iPad and pleasuring himself this has left me very upset I am finding it hard to move forward we have a good sex life I thought but always watching porn and he never lets me near his phone I don't even know his password I'm not possessive but find it odd that he won't let me near his phone when mine is always around |
Posted: 23 Jan 2018 02:14 AM PST I got a part-time job in Jan. 2017 as an asst. to the controller in a small co. I had not worked in a while and it was just a blessing that I finally landed a part-time job that I loved to do. I was told that this was a short assignment coz they were going to close business possibly in December. The turn of events started when I took four days off in July to spend time with 9 yr old son during summer vacation. Then in August I took five days off to go to Oregon to catch the total eclipse. My husband bought airfare and hotel reservations over a year ago way before I got my job. I told my bosses I was going to see the eclipse. When I came back from Oregon, that first day back, my immediate boss told me they wouldn't be needing me anymore. Before the Oregon trip, she discussed with me that our schedule will be less hours starting the following month. This to me meant my work was still stable, just less hours in the next months. There was no talk about when the business was going to finally close doors. I think they felt they let me go coz I kept taking time off and that they could manage without me. That Oregon trip was my husband's whole idea. I could have just skipped it and let him and our two sons travel from Calif. I made sure I was all caught up in my work before I left for the trip. My immediate boss handles the major stuff and knows my work of course. Now I'm out of a job and feel bitter about having taken that stupid Oregon trip. What do you think of my position? |

Question: I think my husband still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend. What should I do? Posted: 21 Jan 2018 05:45 AM PST Me and my husband are newlyweds and have been married a month and have been with each other four months all together. Lately my husband has brought up his ex-girlfriend a few times and have made a few comparisons between us. He's been comparing our appearances, our breasts, the size of our vagi...and our personalities. He talks to me about their sex life and the things that they did. He tells me about all the nice necklaces he got her and all the money he spent on her. He doesn't talk about her much but when he does he shares with me ALOT of things about their relationship. The only reason I get insecure when he talks about this particular ex is because when we first got together his relationship with her was not fully over he still had feelings for her and was very emotionally attached to her. I always thought he loved her more just by the way he talked about her. Even though he broke up with her and chose me I still wonder and get curious as to what he's comparing me with. Yesterday I was on Facebook and I don't know why but I just randomly looked on his ex-girlfriend's page. I just wanted to look and see her character and what she was about. My husband looked over at my phone and saw me looking on her page and he immediately snatched my phone and got upset. He told me he was fully over her and that he moved on and said he chose me so I shouldn't be comparing myself to her |

Question: Husband lied about his daughter not sure what do? Posted: 20 Jan 2018 03:59 AM PST My husband kept a secret from me. When I met him he was a homeless drunk and a war vet a few weeks ago his niece moved in and here's the kicker she's not his niece she's his daughter. Her mom is a prostitute(now in jail) which I'm not judging I used to be one and from what I understand her mom despite her poor choices is a good mom. My husband is an alcoholic but he's been sober for years and from what I understand when he was with my step daughter's mom he was abusive. My step daughter is troubled I knew it the moment I met her she has PTSD just like her dad except her PTSD stems from his abuse. I have learned she has when I'm not around(before my husband fessed up) attempted to goad him into being being violent. She's even tried getting him to drink when I think she did these things to test him I think she thinks he hasn't changed and is putting on an act. I'm not angry with her I'm angry with him he should have told me. I am making sure we see a professional and I like my step daughter she's good with my kids (her half siblings) I just want to make sure my husband understands I'm not entirely okay with his lies. I just need him to understand his actions have consequences I'm not leaving him but I want him to know I'm not okay with what he did. At the same time I want to connect with my step daughter but she's very angry and defensive towards adults I think she only trusts her mom and I think she somewhat fears me and her dad. She acts tough but I think she's afraid. |
