I did that because every time I leave after hanging out i start getting depressed and angry because I want to be with her so Blocking her will make me forget about her. I haven't talked to her in months and I wanted to forever not talk to her again because I don't want to make myself depressed again. But my one friend who I hangout with always hangs with her too and they live near each other. I was wondering if you people feel like I should go to my friends house and invite the girl I like over. Over the course of the months I've been thinking I should see her again because it's good to have her in my life even if we can't be more than friends. Everytime we hanged tho we always had such a great time laughs laughs and more laughs I feel like we could date one day but it's too depressing just leaving her in general. But yeah do you think I should hang with her or should I keep my mind sane. My heart deep down says to hang out but further up says your Gona hurt yourself again. |

We went to trips and hangout often. However it happened recently since December that I've noticed that they didn't invite me for any dinner parties or just hangout in general anymore. But I know that they are meeting with each other (with some other people as well). I realised that they didn't invite me and I just shrug it off as maybe they planned it impromptu or it's just another friend's celebration. However today, they had a dinner party as well but of course, again they didn't invite me. I found out from their Facebook stories. I played dumb and ask X 'who are you with?' -responded 'friends'. I don't know why can't just tell me if they don't like me or anything? Is something wrong? But we are still chatting and always talk when we meetup in certain events. Why can't he just tell me specifically their names as I knew them too. Like they don't want me to know. I just don't know what the problem is as when they are in front of me they act just normal and nothing happened. What do you guys think of this? And I kinda need some advice on what to do. i do not want to lose them as friends as I feel that we shared a lot of memories and I really cherish them. Plus, I didn't do anything that offended them at all.. I can guarantee that… should I keep my distance between them? Or just continue like this… or any other advice? |

Posted: 13 Jan 2018 04:08 PM PST I see my friends every second weekend, I'm in college during the week where I meet other friends I go out with and it's really easy to meet up. I get a bus and land at their house and we talk and play fifa, then we go out but at home it's hard, I'm busy with work at the weekends and I meet up with my mates at different times and places, some spend a lot of time with their girlfriends, others like me are busy working. It gets me at night, I realise a lot of my college mates who I see every day are going home, some are returning to different countries and some live hours away so this is about to end. At home I rely on my parents for a lift and so do my mates. I'd say we meet once every 2-3 weeks for a few hours we get smashed and head out and then we don't see each other for almost another month. I know it's life but it's gotten to the point that I feel I have no valuable relationships, I can't even watch comedys such as the big bang theory without getting sad, so I don't watch them, today my sister put on the fresh prince of bellair and jazz and will had a fight, I had to leave the room. I don't know who I am anymore I'm becoming quite and isolated and it's like I'm powerless to prevent it, I need work, I need college but I'm sad. |

I played tennis in hs and got decent grades, but apart from that I was kind of a social outcast. It happens, I know, but once I get to college I got worse. Then I was playing a sport and studying, in college I did neither and got even more isolated. I had a bad gpa, no friends, and tbh I was just weird you know. I took an extra year, and my last year and a half I did come out of my shell, but it just wasn't the same you know. I made a few friends had a little fun, and they were cool. When graduation came, I was depressed. I feel I should have joined a fraternity, gotten good grades, and had a blast you know. But most of my college was depressing. And then a few months later, some conflict happened with some of my friends, and right now I'm not talking with them(idk if its permanent or not), but the thing is in 5 years I really have nothing to show for it. It happens, I know but if it was earlier I would have time to socialize more. Because now I'm working, and while I'm friendly with coworkers its not the same(a level of professionalism). I'm trying to look forward, and not complain but I feel I missed out on some of the greatest years of my life(mainly college but also hs). Any advice? |

My mom and I started talking to one of the male cashiers. He just asked us questions like what were we doing for the weekend etc. Just general conversation just being polite. So one day I told him I was going to Massage Therapy school. So he told me that if I needed anyone to practice on I could practice on him. So I said ok and gave him my number awhile went by and he never called. So it's been about four months and the other day he called me. Asking when could I practice Massage on him. I told him that I am no longer in Massage Therapy school. Because I decided to change to something else. But I told him I may end up going back next year. So he asked me if I still remembered some of the things I learned I told him yes. So then he said he could come to my house and I could practice on him. I told him I lived with a roommate I actually still live with my parents. He doesn't have his own place but he said he will soon. He goes to the same college as his ex, they dated for four years. According to him they didn't see each-other much when they were dating. I found out that he talked to her this week, he borrowed a textbook. Then she asked him out to coffee to catch up and he told her definitely and he enjoyed talking to her. I tried hanging out with her but her parents became overprotective of her after some idiot got too comfortable with her. Ps her parents were also working during the holidays. But anyways lately her phone broke and this resulted in her talking through her mom's phone and I kept asking her when I can come over so I can give her late Christmas present. I was suppose to come to her house on Christmas day to give her this present and I was told not to come due to the domestic situation over there. She already told me to come the next day but the next day never came. Her present is still in my room. This morning I tried asking if I can drop off her present today and she didn't say anything. Right now its the evening. I go back to College on Monday and it marks the end of my holiday. She is not coming back to my College this year. Right now I feel like our friendship is going down hill. In the past I have faced rejection from girls, a bad break up and a flakey girl. I also had one good friendship with a girl once who I thought was the one because she fitted well with my family, but she rejected me and now we not talking. And she's never go cruising with me but she goes with other friends. The most she does with me is goes out to dinner with me once a week but she can go on almost a month cruise with other people and totally forget about me. But 3 years later My friends mother past away. So the Father moved back to take care of everything he lives and still does live in the woods. So my My friend and his father owns the house now. And he agreed to let me stay. SO HERE IT IS Alfter 7 months My best friends dad put notes all over the place saying "THIS IS HOW MUCH THIS IS A MONTH DON'T USE TOO MUCH... WATER, OVEN, HEAT, MICROWAVE, WASHING AND DRYING MACHINE. when I woke up and seen them I ripped them all down and said don't waste paper. And said my rent money is for all this plus Food... so what are you using the money im giving you. He didn't reply so after a few days and this is winter the heater was turned off. So I used my portable heater. He heard the portable heater and BUSTED Through my Locked door into my room and said "TURN OFF THAT HEATER RIGHT NOW!!!" I was asleep and woke up to this so I got up and was freaked out. Me and my friends dog came rushing into my room and stared to Growl and showed her Teeth at him. She doesn't know him very well. I said " MY DOG IS PROTECTING ME YOU CAME INTO MY ROOM WITHOUT PERMISSION OR A NOTICE. Then he left he doesn't come near me because the dog comes to me when he walks around. Now we are both sophomores in high school and last week me and my family moved back to Washington and I started at the high school last week and Xavier does to this school and he changed a lot. I'm just wondering why most liberals tend to be annoying people who shove their ideals on people and expect them to be on board, then"accept this or else" mindset makes people loathe them. |
| Question: I hate my friend group. How do I handle it? Posted: 12 Jan 2018 09:32 PM PST I've had many friend groups in my life. My current one is by far the worst but also the best. At first I got along great with these people. We were so alike and we just clicked. But slowly I realized they weren't who I thought they were. They talked bad about our other friends behind their backs and said some horrible things. I'm ashamed to admit that I took part in some of the talk but at the time I was so desperate for friends that I thought that's what I had to do. When I was with them I became a horrible person. So I began to distance myself. That was one of the biggest mistakes. It allowed for my best friend, the time, to hang out with two of the "head girls" so they bonded without me. They have inside jokes and make fun of me constantly. Whether it's about my "cute and childlike" face or the way I eat, it's always something. They've also started to hang out with our other friends and "forget" to invite me along. Then they proceed to post pictures with sayings like "With my best friends!" Or "Best Friend Night". Now I know by now most people would've left but here's my dilemma. I go to a small school, so many of the people in my grade I've known my whole life. This makes making friends harder. By this point most groups are formed and only new kids make the transition. So my only hope is that a new kid shows up and doesn't make the cut for the other groups. I'm just at a lost as to what to do. Right now it's pretty lonely. How would you handle this? |

Now she thinks we're best friends or something. She's constantly asking to hang out with me. She blows up my phone with texts, snapchats, snaptexts, FaceTime calls, etc. She constantly follows me around school. She's like trying to out do my friends or something... it's hard to explain but I rarely have time to hang with my actual friends bc she's so clingy. She's really really annoying me and she just has a personality that I do not like. But I'm not the kind of person that just tells people exactly what I'm thinking and especially about this because I do not want to be mean. |

I hung out with her only one time and now she thinks we re super close. She s very clingy. She follows me around all the time. She ll text me like 5 times in a row and FaceTime me everyday even though I rarely answer. I was just trying to be nice but now it s just really annoying because she s trying to compete with other friends. I really don t want to be mean but enough is enough. |

| Question: So I can’t stop crying? Posted: 12 Jan 2018 08:35 PM PST So a boy asked me to the school dance tonite and they ran out of tickets so I couldn't go. Then my bestfriend bailed on me when I had plans with her tomorrow all day to a sleepover and now she can't because she had a friend over tonite and no way of getting her home tomorrow since her dads out of town and I needed to spend time with my bestfriend alone since I really needed to talk to her since I've been feeling really depressed all week. Then I'm having heath problems and headaches I was looking forward to hanging out with her and having this awesome weekend all week it's what kept me going but now it's all ruined and filled with doctor appointments I'll be going to all alone now. I put on my story on Snapchat for someone to please write to me to make me feel better and so far a hundred people have viewed it and only one person has actually done something. What can I do to feel better and to have a fun weekend and to stop crying (been crying for the past hour)? |

He doesn't have his own place and he's been living out of his car. I send him money sometimes to help him and for his services. This 30 year old guy at a store that I go to sometimes asked for my number awhile ago and today he called asking to hang out. I told him I would think about it I'm rushing anything with him though. I was scared that the 6th grader will kill herself. Since both of us are considered children under 18, they were required to contact everyone's parents. My mom is upset that I got involved in this drama. But really, it didn't do any harm to go over there and talk to the teacher with her. All the exams of bodily fluids are done and they confirmed that this girl is telling the truth. |
| Posted: 12 Jan 2018 07:12 PM PST So me and my best friend have known each other for like 5 years now but I feel like she was just my friend because she didn't have anyone else. Like a year and a half ago she started talking to this girl online that she met trough a fandom and now they are inseparable (They haven't even met in person). The problem isn't that she has other friends (because I could care less), the problem is that she keeps ignoring me all the time when we are hanging out because she's texting with her other friend. Every time I talk to her she's always like "What did you say am sorry I didn't hear you, I wasn't paying attention". For the last 3 years I always get her something for her birthday and she use to to the same for me but this past year she didn't get me anything, and I really didn't care that much but then like a month later she was shipping some expesive a** box in the mail and when I asked her for what it was she told me it was a birthday present for her other friend. I just don't know if I should cut the friendship or what because it's not like she doesn't want to hangout with me, but I think she just hangs out with me because she doesn't really talk to anyone else. What do you guys think?? |

I used to be so fun but now I'm quiet. All of my friends go to different high schools now and I am left with my "fake friends". I call them that because they make me feel like **** sometimes and often times ignore me even when I'm right in front of them. I'm a sophomore in high school so everyone's already established their cliques and friend group so idk what to do. I'm really awkward now and idk how to get out of my slump and be true to myself.
