Question: How do I tell my wife and what her "work friend" do is innapropriate? Posted: 26 Jan 2018 08:07 PM PST So my wife and this woman she works with greet each other by a hug and a kiss on the lips. Now I'm really NOT for this. As this is my wife. When i told my wife about it she thinks its not a big deal because that's just a friendly greeting that they do. She doesn't think its cheating at all and even got upset with me when i got upset about it. Am i overreacting? What should i do? |
Posted: 26 Jan 2018 05:28 PM PST I am from India and marriages are usually arranged. How come people talk that I am unmarried and no one offered to give their daughter in marriage to me ? Is this situation normal in India ? Do the boys have to go around searching for a bride or do the brides parents offer their daughter in marriage to the man in India. |

Question: How do you deal with a spouse that countermands your parenting right in front of the kids? Posted: 26 Jan 2018 12:37 PM PST Talking about it later isn't an option she just gets angry because "she is right!" For example, at dinner tonight, our daughter wouldn't eat her dinner. She asked for Apple juice and I said no. Then my wife said, "well just a little." Then we got in an argument because I insisted that no means no and she's teaching the kids a bad lesson by one giving in and two overriding my authority. Then she got up in a huff and left the room saying that she can't eat with me. There's lots of examples like this. I don't do it to her. If she says no to the kids, I'm not going to override her like that. |
Posted: 26 Jan 2018 11:25 AM PST What technique or mindsets help you get through it, what have you found helps your partner. How do you get Your partner to parent the best they can or atleast not snap at the kids over them just being kids. I am really struggling with the idea that this won't work. We are separated at the minute until he atleast tries his best to control it enough that me and the children aren't a constant emotional punching bag. I'm struggling to decide wether I can hack it(being with him if not much improves) I do love him but it is so, so hard, I feel like his anxiety has brushed against me and sucked me down, I really don't recognise myself anymore or my life. It hurts so much. I just want to hear from people that manage it. We are signed up to some parenting classes and I have booked myself a Doctors app to make sure it's just "normal " stress and not anything I need help with. We will be doing relationship counselling when he has gained a healthy way of managing it or dealing with it. Please remember this is a small part of our story so do not judge when you only know a small part. I am looking for advice and insight on personal experience in a similar situation |
Question: Husband flirting and texting other girl? Posted: 26 Jan 2018 09:23 AM PST I don't have any proof that My husband has physically cheated on me. I've always had problems with him flirting and texting other girls. Today he was "active now" on Instagram for a while. So I logged in. I realize people need privacy, but we have each others passwords and we always have. In my opinion, in a relationship, you shouldn't ever be having conversations with someone that you're not comfortable with your husband/wife seeing. I've been with my husband 5 years, I'm 22 years old. We've been married almost 2 years. So yeah, I do log in to his social media because i do not trust him at all. So today I logged into his instagram. He's direct messaging with some girl I believe works at the gym. Of course, he's already deleted everything they first talked about, but the message that was there was from her it said "you want to kidnap me" and he wrote "would that be bad" and she goes "depends what we do after" and he said "I'd probably steal a kiss from you" and later she says she has a boyfriend and he's good to her. So now idk what to do. I don't want to bring it up cause he'll just find a way to hide it. It's hard to leave because I've been with him for 5 years and I live with him, I love him and we've even traveled to Peru we shared a lot of expierences.. I don't have any close family that have space for me, and I can't afford rent for anything. What do I do? Just wait it out til he actually does something or just leave. It's so hard. I just turned 22 yesterday. |
Question: Just moved 3000 miles from home and just found out I'm pregnant. Advice? Posted: 26 Jan 2018 07:14 AM PST I got married two months ago, and with the marriage we moved across the country. All I have is my husband, his family is here but it's not the same. I hate it here and ask him everyday if we can go home. I also just found out I'm pregnant. I didn't plan on getting pregnant so new into our marriage. So now I'm miserable in a state I hate, alone and pregnant. My husband keeps saying give it a few more months and we'll go home. It's putting a strain on our marriage and I can't take another day here. What do I do? How do I convince him to let me go home to the people I trust, especially now that I'm pregnant. |

Question: Sex with someone else in the room? Posted: 26 Jan 2018 12:28 AM PST okay so me and my husband met in July after being separated for 3 month, we live with his parents and his sister in a 2 bed. He shared a room and a bunk bed with her, so things got awkward really fast. During the summer she refused to leave the room, playing Xbox all day. So we would put a cover up and during the day we'd make out in bed but wed keep it to only touching and kissing, and stop before it got to obvious. and during the night wed have silent sex. well, now 6 months later she's threating to report us for "sexual abuse". is this possible? what should we do? |
Question: My husband is into grannies and I’m gutted? Posted: 25 Jan 2018 11:05 PM PST I'm 27 he's 35. I was on our computer once when I realised on an unclosed page he was looking at porn and that obviously got me checking the search history. Found out all he looks for is '' granny porn'' '' grandma sex '' etc. My shock was immense and I thought maybe it's just a one day fantasy but everytime I checked it was the same searches and the man got himself on a dating website and all his convos are with women in their late 50s and 60s. He would try to get them to meet up and send his nudes to them. He probably has slept with a couple of them already. I feel so gutted by it that I cant stand his single touch or even cuddles etc it kills me and sex with him quickly became a chore and now it doesn't even happen anymore because just the idea of sleeping with him repulses me so much. I didn't say anything because I was so in shock and deranged I didn't know how to approach the situation and I wanted to gather as much proof as I could . But the more it's going on the more I can't bare him don't even know how to start talking about it |
Posted: 25 Jan 2018 05:20 PM PST Me and my husband have been married almost two months now and have been together five months all together. I knew we got married fast but it felt right. Now that we're married I've noticed he brings up his ex-girlfriends ALOT. I am glad my husband is able to be open and honest with me but sometimes I feel like he's given me too much information. For example, before he got with me he said he use to be a player and has cheated in the past on his exes. There are two exes he talks about ALOT. One who he was in a relationship before me and another one he was with off and on for five years. At first I thought he still had feelings for the other woman he was with before me but he revealed he still has feelings for his ex who he was on and off with for five years. During the conversation he said he reminded me of his ex-girlfriend he was with on and off for five years in a good way. He also said she was the woman who he was suppose to marry but he caught her cheating on him too. He said they haven't been together or in contact for three years. He says he loves me but I am uncertain. I have the feeling that he may not love me as much as his exes. I feel great he was able to bring this up even if it was after we got married but at the same time now I am feeling insecure in the relationship. I really don't know how he feels about me. It got so bad to the point where I almost started to compare myself to his exes. His actions and his words don't align. I always feel like I love him more. |
Posted: 23 Jan 2018 02:14 AM PST I got a part-time job in Jan. 2017 as an asst. to the controller in a small co. I had not worked in a while and it was just a blessing that I finally landed a part-time job that I loved to do. I was told that this was a short assignment coz they were going to close business possibly in December. The turn of events started when I took four days off in July to spend time with 9 yr old son during summer vacation. Then in August I took five days off to go to Oregon to catch the total eclipse. My husband bought airfare and hotel reservations over a year ago way before I got my job. I told my bosses I was going to see the eclipse. When I came back from Oregon, that first day back, my immediate boss told me they wouldn't be needing me anymore. Before the Oregon trip, she discussed with me that our schedule will be less hours starting the following month. This to me meant my work was still stable, just less hours in the next months. There was no talk about when the business was going to finally close doors. I think they felt they let me go coz I kept taking time off and that they could manage without me. That Oregon trip was my husband's whole idea. I could have just skipped it and let him and our two sons travel from Calif. I made sure I was all caught up in my work before I left for the trip. My immediate boss handles the major stuff and knows my work of course. Now I'm out of a job and feel bitter about having taken that stupid Oregon trip. What do you think of my position? |

Question: What kind of women will value a single, youthful, 36yo man with no kids and never married? Posted: 22 Jan 2018 09:29 AM PST I was a bit of a late bloomer in life, was quiet/quirky/ugly duckling, then broke into the dating world in earnest at 29/30 when I suddenly became more attractive, had 2 girlfriends between 30-35 and many other 1-3 date experiences with women. I self-improved a lot during this phase. Now at 36, it seems women in my age group don t take me seriously, are jaded, snarky, especially the ones with divorce/kids. Some of the younger ones (like 25ish) show interest in me, but many are flaky, immature, unreliable, a waste of time for trying to pursue a real relationship. Maybe an exceptional 24yo could work, otherwise I am struggling lately to figure out exactly who are my droids, and where are they, for dating and eventually a serious, traditional relationship (Christian marriage and children)?? |
Posted: 22 Jan 2018 08:58 AM PST My husband is a paranoid, jealous guy and hates the idea of me working with other males that he accuses them of trying to come in between our marriage. Is it wrong for him to accuse these guys of things like this? @Ace Shorty-Males see that if other males are being friendly with their wife, girlfriend, crush, etc., they think it's sexual misconduct. Females on the other hand, cannot be friendly with males. They are to be silent and reserved. Most males like to merge with married females whose husbands are jealous, possessive, prejudiced, and paranoid. I didn't see the news about the guy tracking down his 35-year-old wife with her 58-year-old boss. How old is the guy? Younger? Same age as the wife? @linkus86-My husband is too obsessed with me that he accuses me of getting close with male colleagues. It's no wonder my husband wants me to quit my job and stay at home. |
