We had a great relationship until one day we got into a fight and he broke up with me. I was so heartbroken and sometimes when I think about the pain he caused, it still makes me cry (pathetic, I know). We saw each other twice after we broke up and we talked about getting back together but both times he "ghosted" me. Just stopped talking to me and was so confusing. I told him it needs to stop and he needed to stop messing with my emotions. 3 weeks later he was in a relationship (with a girl who is very similar to me (same name, same major, same family dynamics, etc). I started dating someone knew that I dated for a year and recently broke up with him because I couldn't fall in love with him because I feel I will always be in love with my ex. I really don't want him back and think if we were to ever try again it would never work. He is still with his new girlfriend and I haven't talked to him in a year and half. But for some reason I cannot get him out of my head. It's been almost 2 years since we broke up. I just want to let it go and move on with my life but I don't know how. Has anyone else ever felt this way? And how did you go handle it? I'm promising myself to be single for at least 6 months to a year to clear my head. |

When i first met her at the bar, i blatantly said "you should come home with me". We just exchanged numbers. Eventually she ended up standing me up and made up a bs excuse. Prior to this, we went on a date, and made out at her place. Since then she has tried to make me jealous since i did the same to her. Time has gone by and i flat out asked her what she wanted. She said 'nothing'. I then said "im curious, what did it". She said "it just wasn't there". I then said it was nice to meet her. She said she'll see me around. I just kind of made a face - This all took place in a packed bar. She then starts dancing wildly (she never does) and looks to see if i'm looking at her. When she realizes i'm not, she just stares at me (i saw it in my peripheral vision). I start talking to this one girl and she's just there taking glances at me and occasionally dancing. There's another point where she blatantly stares at me while i walk past her, i just don't look at her. I don't know what all of these actions mean - What is this? And why did she start dancing around crazily (she never does) when i left ? And looking at me? |

We hit it off, and seemed to have a lot in common. Both huge fans of the same sports teams, and have german shepherd dogs. We began to talk on facebook, and last weekend he asked me to watch a game with him and his friends. I brought a friend with me, and from the moment we began hanging out our chemistry was undeniable just as the first time we met. We talked eachothers heads off the entire night. We both got pretty drunk, and even though I have never done this so early on we had sex. We had amazing sex all night and the next morning. The next morning he was trying to get me to stay longer. That Tuesday we hung out again, and watched tv. We did not have sex. He is bad at texting and keeping in touch though. He usually messages me maybe once a day, and some nights I don't hear much from him. Then he asked if i wanted to watch the game this past Sat with his friends. Once again we did and I went home with him. He doesn't really keep in touch much through the week though. Does this seem just like a hookup, or more than that? Why bother to bring me around the friends? He honestly has never taken me on an actual date now that i think about it. |

I recently learned that I was pregnant and he was somewhat happy about it..until he left his phone in my car.. I guessed his password and I found out that he was cheating on me with 2 other girls..A month before that i had asked him if he was speaking to other girls and he yelled at me and told me no bla bla.. but anyways after i searched his phone i found the girls and i confronted him about it and he told me he only did it because i was controlling. About a day later his father that he was really close to was murdered.. I was with him at the hospital and i havent left his side since..but i am still heartbroken over the cheating incident and he has nothing to say about it when i ask him.. i feel like if he cared he would atleast say something to me.. what should i do? Also, he lies ALLLOOOOTTT about who he is texting.. Even today he was lying about who he was texting.. I dont think he loves me just as much as i love him.. Am i wasting my time? |

Not being a regular user of snapchat, a long anticipated snapchat story got the attention of an old crush. Each time over our friendship I can only get so close before she fears the same feat. We all strive to overcome in life: long term human endearment. When she finally messaged me I looked to the sky and got light headed. I myself and her were both torn in different ways in what is so much more prevalent, divorce. My parents divorce inspired me to do marriage the right way. And on the flipside, a similar hate fueled seperation frightened her into the desire of "noncommittal euphoria." I am so much different in the aspect that I don t drink alcohol due to family history and how she uses alcohol to forget the same woes I keep fresh in my mind to remind myself how genuinely happy life can be when not giving into tempations. Nor am I against drinking, but when you compare how some dance to remember and others dance to forget, to drinking to forget. This is not how I plan to take life "living in the moment." As none of these moments will be remembered more or less. Please help, this is not my forte. |

She currently lives in another country for work. When we are together, everything is great but now she is away. There are constant struggles. We communicate well but I m starting to see a few things that bothers me that I didn t see before. Here is a list, am I over reacting here? 1. While on the phone, she tends to want to get off the phone quickly, but we would talk for hours through text. 2. She has made new friends and there are times I feel like I m not a priority, even her work mates seem more important at times. She assures me that I m more important but doesn t feel that way. 3. She is so laid back and easy going that she would never want to keep me on the phone or won t tell me that she wants to talk even though she wants to. Sometime it just feels good to have someone want you and tell you. Know what I mean? So those are the issues, not major and I try to deal with it but it festered and I had to say something. We talked about it but she had to go and her last words were: "I m just being myself and I m sad that I keep saying or doing the wrong things that make you unhappy" that makes me sad to hear because I think it s true. I have been really unhappy lately but I want to make this work. But if I m always unhappy like this... Does it mean she is not the one for me? Or is there something bigger going on here and not the problems I mentioned above? |

| Posted: 21 Jan 2018 05:03 PM PST I love a girl, she had a bad experience with her ex and he treated her badly and called her a whore and other names He used to be really good in their first year but then he started treating her so bad 2 months in our relationship she said that i love you but I don t wanna be a bf and gf relationship because I m afraid I said i will wait until you re ready, i got her mad then she gave me a chance Two months later i got her mad again and she gave me another chance but she said that she doesn t want a relationship Like i love you with out labels A week ago i got her mad again and this time she said i don t want a relationship with you because you **** up every time, i told her what if I don t **** up this time? She said don t get your hopes up but I just can t deal with your moodiness Long story short she said that if i saw that you really changed we might be together but for now let s be friends and don t get your hopes up because it might never happen My question is how should I treat her and make her believe that i have changed?
