I don't even have any sort of specifics mapped out, the place I'd go or anything and he already says he forbids it. We wouldn't see each other the semester anyway because he is studying 10 hours away by car, doing intense medical work. We've dated two years, the first year being long-distance and the second year he moved across the country to live with me. He loves me, but a couple months ago I pissed him off, he went on tinder, and then lied about cheating on me. As if we weren't having enough trouble this winter, now he starts telling me his ex went abroad and that if I went I would become spoiled just like her and no longer be wife material. He says that if he's working hard he wants me working hard too and not having fun. So, he says if I go he'll break up with me. I love him. Should I break up with him and go abroad on a university grant? This might break my heart.
