I have noticed that my bf puts his hands around my neck in a lot of photos! It s usually when he stands behind me and I haven t noticed this until someone mentioned it in the comments that he always puts his hands around my neck. Not arms. Only hands. What does that mean?

I have three really close friends. Let's call them A, M and L. A is doing pretty good for herself. Has a stable job, although pays minimum wage, and has a steady boyfriend who cares for her a lot. However, she has no direction in life when it comes to finding a higher paying job. M has struggled. She surrounded herself with people who don't wanna accomplish much in life and choose to just smoke weed and do drugs all day. She doesn't have a driver's license ( age 21 ) and spends all her money on drugs and raves. M recently left to his dad's but spends his days just smoking weed and not looking for work. I'm worried they're gonna fall behind in life with the exception of A who I feel tries the hardest out of all of them. Is there anyway to snap them out of it and light a fire in them?

In this country and school I feel so sad I have really close best friends but not in this country I'm getting lonely in the school I don't have friends yet I'm sick of trying out just like know ppl in school nut they aren't my friends,

A friend of mine feels this way and I think it s because of her strict parents. They do not allow her to do what makes her happy. As small as hanging out with friends, to her passion and that is dancing. She did talked to them about this before and every time her parents would just tell her that she s a bad daughter for not listening and talking back. They told her that she s wrong for this too. So now she just listens to her parents until she graduates high school. She s waiting for college as she will be living in the dorms on campus. She thinks this will free her from her situation. What can I do to help her not feel trapped right now?

So i'm in this server with my guy friend and some other friends. My friend makes fun of my background and I defended myself snd he banned me from the server. Later on he messages me privately and tells me that i'm the most annoying person hes ever met and that all the people he knows agree. Do you drink, do you have a girlfriend, and do you ever want kids? I know people like to be sociable and get to know people but those questions sound a little personal to me in my opinion. I'm not saying it's innapropriate to ask someone those questions.

I went to a trivia tournament with some not-very-close upperclassman friends (I'm a new girl freshman) and everything was okay but I felt really bad because I didn't buzz in with an answer at all (someone on the other team got it faster usually ;( ) and afterwards we went out for pizza. It was very awkward and I tried talking about stuff but they talked about things that made me uncomfortable. For instance, one girl pointed to a short boy and said, "Could you fight Owen and win??" I was just confused and then they started talking about Spring Fling (I don't want to go) and how they want to force me to go. They used to not be like this, what happened and did I do something wrong? I tried to carry on normal conversation, but it just became weird. What should I do? Update: I did not do anything to annoy/offend/hurt them. I don't know them that well

Sometimes find it hard to find stuff to talk about, maybe in my mind thinking how to I relate this to everyone or whatever. Thing is I'm not really shy, more awkwared, and don't care that much about people but at the same time want to leave a good impression.

I had a friend named Anna and she has been going through a lot of family issues, especially with her dad. She one time came into my class and I noticed that there were cut marks on her arm. I got extremely worried and I told her that I might report it to my counselor. So, the next day, I told my counselor about it and she told me that she will take care of it. Afterwards, Anna wasn't talking to me anymore. I later found out from one of her friends named Amy is that her dad is actually mad at me for it. Not only did he want to talk to my parents about it, but he also called the POLICE about it too. He then forbade Anna from talking to me ever again. Later Amy then avoided me too. I found out that Amy is actually mad at me too because of what I did, and apparently she was **** talking about me to many people. So, I started to question my decision and felt like all of it was my fault. So did I do something wrong here?

I'm in high school. I have social anxiety but it's not too bad. Since the start of this school year I've been trying to find some friends to hang out with at lunch but I've always felt like a tag along cuz I never talked with them or anything cuz ya know what they talk about is like none of my buisness at all so I'm trying not to interfer. It's always some crap talk about irrelevant people. A month ago I've found a friend I can comfortably hang out with. Weeellllll she's going to be homeschooled starting next week so that means I'm going to have no one to hang out with at lunch! I'm afraid to be seen alone at lunch by anyone! It's going to be the same thing all over again and honestly I'm sooooo tired of it. I'm thinking of hiding in the bathroom the whole lunch everyday. I just can't be seen alone. Or should I just hang out with those people who make me feel like a tag along? Anything is better than being seen alone.

I'm a kind person, and my parents always taught me to accept a sincere apology... This apology wasn't sincere, this was an "apology" AND an excuse for what they did. It's like what they did to me wasn't a big deal, and they think they can just reel me back in... I don't know if I should respond, or what I would even say if I did... They really hurt me in the past, and I don't want to think about talking to them again because when I do I can't think straight and get panic attacks, which is why I need help with this. I am member of an open chat site and since some time I haven t been in touch with it much. At first I used to go a lot but now I have to keep gaps ever since I noticed people being extremely rude and showing attitude. I don t actually care about their liking or disliking as I have cleared and don t have current issues. Due to gossip I stayed away as much as I could but missed a few of very good friends I made. I noticed whenever I type on main people have responded in very cold manner and also they been different. I don t abuse back when they have bullied or played evil tricks on me. I talked to a good friend about it and she said I need to give time. I gave time and in between visited but things didn t get better. In 2016 I had a wonderful year which might be the only memory I keep. 2017 things were good at start but many friends changed and separated to their own paths. Days before as I went people there were so much dry and ignored me which hurted me innerly. Taking no credit for anything I have personally helped and listened to many of the people I met and guided them on right direction. I have very less friends in reality. I vibe along very fast and I don t feel to hurt anyone in virtual or real. Why am I being treated so badly there? I never wanted to talk or ask this but its hitting me very hard and I tried to search for answers and I found very less convincing.

so i have this one friend from 3rd grade (now we are both in 7th grade). we occasionally had fights because of disagreements and the ways we both acted. but recently, she said that i have changed since elementary school and says that I ignore her when im with other people. She also said, "it hurts seeing an old friend ignore you in the presence of someone else." The thing is that ive always felt like she kind of used me. for example i have inside jokes with my crush (which she told me recently is also her crush) and she joins in on them and uses them all the time. also, when i sprained my ankle and got crutches, she said, "I sprained my ankle many times and never got crutches" in an annoyed tone.. im planning to talk to her about the scenario and apologize for ignoring her and other stuff, but i dont really feel like ive done anything wrong? yeah sometimes i dont talk to her but those are the times i feel like she wants something from me and sometimes im in other conversations and dont really feel like i should stop the other person from saying something just to say hi to her. I dont really know maybe im being a self-centered person but please some advice?

I hosted a birthday dinner for a very close friend of me. I asked people people to pitch in for a cake. Everyone had to give $5 (cause there was 5 people). However, only 2 people pitched in while the other 3 complained about pitching in. During birthday dinner, I only cut the cake for the two people who paid while the others watch. Some people thought I was being rude. Was I?

So my friend got a text from the wrong number, saying stuff like "Hey honey, are you asleep at home? Or at Ray's? It's okay if you're with him right now. I'm not sure where you are but please answer me. I love you." So because we're idiots, we responded with some puns and jokes. The person said "Melissa, this isn't funny. I'm worried sick. Answer me. Please." So we freaked, and she answered with "I'm so sorry but you have the wrong number. I was trying to just pull a prank. Which wasn't okay. I am so, so sorry. I really hope you find Melissa soon." But this person wasn't having it. They said that "Cut it out. Where are you? I'm f**king sick of you hanging out with John and doing drugs and s**t. Do we need to get the police involved?" The person called my friend but she was AFK when they called. So they texted us again, saying "I'm calling the sheriff now. We are going to have quite the talk when I see you." My friend repeatedly tried to tell them they had the wrong number but they won't answer us. What the hell are we supposed to do?

My best friend is straight and I admitted to having a little crush on her, or I'm not exactly sure what it means because I've never sexually attracted to girls either, but only towards my best friend do I just want to cuddle with her and be with her all the time. We have kissed a few times, like a quick peck, but I've never wanted more than that. But, the other day she told me that sometimes she pictures her cuddling with me or wishing i was there to cuddle with her and then said "is that weird" and of course i said no because i think about it too all the time. But also when we talk and lay down or are with eachother she will play with her lips a lot, like she will hide them or sometimes bite the bottom lip and them hide them again. Is this flirting or are we just really close?

I'm curious. My "friend" smokes everyday. They've had a job since they were 14. They make their own money. They have a 3.8 gpa and continue to do well in school. So why do people keep saying how bad it is? It helps my friend function. My friend wouldn't be able to leave their own bedroom without pot. Why are so many against it?

Lots of the people that received that email replied back to me saying they are sorry this is happening to me and they offered help but on of my friends replied to ALL saying that my husband is a scum bag, a jerk, she said that my son will turn out just like his dad if I stay in this relationship and that my daughter will marry an abusive husband, she also said after I get old my husband will kill me after I'm not attacive to men anymore etc.... I replied back to her saying this: Why don't you just mind your own business Sarah? And why does everyone constantly ask me to leave my husband? That's not something on my to do list. Nothing you say nor what anyone says will make me leave him so just bud out of my life and worry about yourself and your own family before you judge mine!! I can take care of myself and my kids! I suggest you respect my privacy and leave me the hell alone!!! She replied back to everyone except for me saying I'm brain washed and someone needs to help convince me to leave him. Should I reply to her again and tell her to shut up or should I just let it go? Because she's getti too much into my business. My other friend is the one that told me that she emailed everyone but no one replied back to her (that I know of) Thank you!
