Posted: 23 Jan 2018 05:37 PM PST I was talking to this friend of mine that blasted me with other people telling them that I was promiscuous and mean .one day her dad kicked her out of the house so I brought her home . But , she was nice at the beginning and then was super close to my mother something that I haven't been in ages because my mother doesn't allow it . They went shopping together and of course I was out of the picture but I didn't mind at all ... out of no wheee my mother started to yelled at me and telling me what not to do so I was like okay something is going on ... I asked my mother was going on and she told me that I was Ignoring my friend and that I was been mean since I didn't take her out all the time ... I was kind of confused since every time that we went out I took my friend to places and payed for her and she didn't appreciated at all but instead blasted me with close people ... well I found out that she loves to date all source of ppl one guy everyday and that she have been telling her dad that I was the one doing that ... which I don't cared at all ... so I talked to my parents about my friend who doesn't live with me anymore and they are like it's w.e ... I don't cared about it ... I just don't get what are they been so dissmisive like I am talking about it to have a conversation and inputs . ( live your life ) that's what they said ... pss : I don't talk to them when they are tired , not even busy but when they have the time |

Posted: 23 Jan 2018 05:20 PM PST Hi, my friend and I are both 16 yr old girls and she's going through a rough time right now. let me start by saying that we go to a county school so the entire county can attend (an important detail). her family got evicted & is homeless but they're staying with their relatives outside of the county so she takes the train to and from school every day but only when she can afford for it her and her brother. because she misses so much school (combined with untreated ADHD) her grades aren't so good. on top of that, she's dealing with a lot of other stuff like depression and anxiety. bc her grades aren't good the school wants to kick her out and if they're reviewing her grades they might look for reasons why her grades are so bad. (they might find out she doesn't live anywhere set right now and kick her out). she thinks that if she talks to school guidance they might do the same or get her in trouble. i've been giving her money and food when i can but idk what else i can do bc it can't go on like this. it's starting to put strain on our friendship but i feel really bad |

Now this person has been in it for a much longer time and she has about 3 other friends that are also in it. So after we scrimmage for an hour, we have about a 20 minute break where everyone breaks up and hangs out with their friends. Now usually I just tag along with my friend to her group, but last thursday she wasn't there. This is a problem because I usually keep pretty quiet and I haven't really connected with any of her other friends because we only have like twenty minutes and I'm a tad bit shy. So when we went on break I wasn't sure if I should still go over there, but I couldn't find them anyways, so I texted my friend in a panic which was a dumb move because she texted her friend in the group and asked her why she left me behind. Afterwards she came up and apologized to me and I feel really bad because its my fault for not trying to find them and they're not obligated to try and include me. Now I think the girl she texted probably told the rest of the group about the incident and I'm super worried about facing them. Please help! |

Sometime ago I called her up and she was acting strange during the call, like she knows she is avoiding me and like there is a guilt in her voice that make her sound like she is afraid that I will ask her what is up. I just want to understand where is all of this coming from. Like I said I am pregnant and she did mentioned she was angry because she also wanted to be pregnant but her man did not let her. I know that one way in which I could just find out what is going on is by simply asking her what is wrong. But I do not do that because I feel these things could happen and I'm afraid: 1. She could deny what I am perceiving and tell me I am assuming things. 2. She could go off on me, at the sight of being confronted and we could both hurt our feelings and our friendship will end. 3. She could say yes, I have been ignoring you because you ****** up my ****. Which would make me feel worst because I felt so sad when she told me she feels bad that she wants to get pregnant and her man hasn't let her, yet. 4. Lola can sometimes be a nice person however there are many things that irritate me about her, that kind of outweigh the good. -She can be very immature and literally laugh about the most stupid things, which I wouldn't mind unless she stopped tapping me on the shoulder every 5 seconds to show me a broken glue stick. -She can be quite a bitchy/critical person however when people criticize her she gets extremely offended and sensitive about it which I find very hypocritical. -She used to make fun of my hair colour as I'm ginger which I didn't really care about at the start because I'm not a very sensitive person and I can take a joke, but she said them so often that it felt like she was being malicious. Also she would literally never call me by my name and would call me "ginger" instead and I repeatedly told her to stop and gradually she did but weeks later she accused me of being sensitive because I told her to stop making jokes about my hair which pissed me off because of how hypocritical it was. -She's extremely clingy and also whenever we talk she always like grabs me like don't touch me ?? -She invited me to her house once and I didnt want to go and she made me feel soo guilty about it Am I a ***** for thinking this about someone who's supposed to be my friend? |

And the ones that are nice to me, I've been told are the two-faced, gossiping type. The friends I have are either ones I've known since I was little, or really nerdy dorks (don't get me wrong, I love talking to them and am very grateful for them! I love how smart and unique they are!). In elementary school, I was very socially anxious. Even just meeting new people would make me shake and cry. I'm a senior in high school now, and these past few years have been me trying to make friends with my more stable social skills, but it seems like people are irritated and pretty cold to me most of the time. I have a few thousand instagram followers but not a lot are from my school. So I guess people think I'm at least kind of okay looking, and I don't try to be mean to anyone?? Now I realise that he can't just stay wit anyone. He has a severe problem and I'm not sure how to address it or help. Examples: -He's writing a book & needs me to write some sentences on his computer every day. Also just click things and organise his profiles online. He tells me what to click and do, but he won't do it himself for some reason. - He asks me to do weird things like give is blazer a good shake when it's on the hanger. - He won't go to the shops if I'm not there I've noticed. He'll ask to borrow my juice if he has run out and will order a takeway and stay in if I'm not there to go food shopping. Last night I was on the computer for an hour duplicating files and renaming them, typing etc. I don't want to be mean about it, but it's getting a bit annoying when he can do these things himself. He also wanted me to stick my fingers in all the USB slots at the back of the computer when I finished what he wanted me to do! What should I do, it's meant to say in the title* |

Due to me not having many friends and using social media as a way to communicate, I usually announce my bday there so I don't complain about people forgetting it. She did see my videos and posts on social media, but didn't say anything. While I greatly appreciated the Bday wishes from family members, I was a little miffed at this one female because she was the one who invited me to take a dance lessons this Thursday, implying she's interested in a friendship. No, we aren't that close either despite the fact that we went to the same college. It may seem silly to be miffed by this, but I am & it's the reality & I can't lie to myself about my feelings. Maybe it's because I'm already 25 and I still don't have any female friends and this is just another rejection I should watch out for =/. I mean, some people would show sings they are interested in a friendship & then change their mind the last minute. If she does wish me a happy Belated Bday, however, then all is forgiven. |

That means that I need more personal time to recharge more than most people, but when I am with people I am just fine. However, when I'm trying to talk to new people, I simply have nothing to say to them. I want so badly to meet new girls, but it's so hard when you have nothing to say to them. I can't think of anything to ask them either... "hey, some weather huh...?" wow so interesting I'm sure the relationship will just blossom from there. Today in english I spoke to this one girl who's pretty cute. I asked her name and gave her mine. She said "nice to meet you". After that I just made a comment on the teacher and then turned around with nothing else to say. God, is that really the best I can think of...? I get jealous whenever I see a guy and a girl just talking. All I can think of is "damn, how can they be talking for so long and seem so into it, I couldn't do that in 1,000 years". I think after some deep soul searching I've come to the conclusion that I just don't care much about other people, that that is the underlying problem. I just might be self centered and not realize it. Maybe I'm not asking better questions because I don't care what the answer would be. How do I care more? It all comes down to me wanted more relationships with people, girls especially. That was normal which is fine. Then I made my Instagram private and within minutes of making it private she tried to add me from a different account. Then she text me like why did I block her. But she doesn't even use the room except for the bathroom and somewhere to put her clothes. She sleeps on the couch every single night. She says that her room has fleas in it from my old roomates dog, so I told her to switch rooms to the empty one next to it. She said she might do that but she doesn't sleep in there anyways so probably not?? And apparently the couch also has fleas now and tonight she brought her mattress out from her room into the living room!! HELP!!! I hate confrontation but I am soooo aggravated at this point and have given her so many options to get her off of the couch. It's just me and her right now and I feel so awkward and uncomfortable to go out there past a certain time at night. |

Around that time I had always lied about my age to be slightly older than what it actually was, sort-of as just a whole 'fitting in' thing with the community. Just recently I told her the truth about my age because, well, I guess I just felt she should know. After telling her she didn't respond and then left every server I was with her in and refused to talk about it with anyone else. I was told by one friend that it was just her 'getting away from the situation' but... I don't know. Kinda lame I guess that I'm searching for advice on this on Yahoo answers but I guess I just have no clue what else to do, and if for others who have had the whole cutting off contact thing happen to them if that means they're done or... I dunno. Edit: By talking, I don't mean dating. We were just friends if that helps clear something up. I would never get into a relationship like that with someone through lying about my age. | Question: Getting Surpassed at Work by a close friend? Posted: 22 Jan 2018 07:18 PM PST I'm feeling pretty bummed today. At work for a software company I met an awesome friend. Probably one of my bestest friends ever. He early on, caught on quick to work, and was getting high praised. He started almost a year after I did, and I actually helped train him in the beginning. Now 9 months later, he is doing an outstanding job and was just promoted to a "lead" position. The company I work for emphasizes a horizontal work structure, so the job title is techinically the same, but the responsibilities are different. My personality is definitely more goofy, and I am less organized. I am very happy for him, because I am confident he will do a great job. It was he and five others that were put into the "leading" positions. But I still feel pretty shitty about my situation. I feel under appreciated by our boss, and I feel very untilligent. I can make excuses and say that when I was relocated by the company to work elsewhere for 3 months, that I lost knowledge or that there is favoritism between my friend and our boss. But idk. Has anyone ever dealt with something like this before? Or knows of an article or book or some other source of information to help me make sense of the way I am feeling? |

I'm on antidepressants but that's it. And some days it doesn't even help sooo..I'm stuck. How do I do this with all of my problems? |
| Question: Help? I don't know why I hate noise? Posted: 22 Jan 2018 06:54 PM PST I dont know if I'm anti social or I just hate noise, or im a brat. But since the past 2 years noise has been bothering me, whether it's people talking to my mom cleaning the dishes it just annoys the crap out of me when I have to hear that stuff. When people are laughing and talking having a good time, i just don't like to be around it I don't enjoy the sound of talking. I really just want to punch everything in the face when it gets to noisy but I WOULDN'T! if I did that would be bad... I don't talk at high school I just sit and be quiet. I have friends and I'm usually myself around them. Some people say they didn't even notice I was in their class or something because I'm so silent and then they call me anti social. I'm really confused on what the heck is happening to me. Am I just a freak or do I have a problem? |
| Question: Why am I in such a good mood? Posted: 22 Jan 2018 06:42 PM PST Earlier today I was feeling really down, and was talking to a friend about ways to kill myself, all that. I skipped 0 period and told my mom, but she was ok with it since I had a legitimate excuse (I'm pretty sick), which helped to reduce my anxiety. A friend told me she skipped 0 period too, (I was supposed to turn in a big project), and for some reason that helped calm me down too. I also watched a lot of calligraphy videos, as I love calligraphy. My friend has also been responding to my texts, when he usually doesn't. And I looked at a bunch of pretty notes and am now inspired to do schoolwork. In addition, I sent 1 friend that I am getting closer to a text saying how thankful I am to have her as a friend. What caused such a sudden change in mood for me? the last month has been pretty rough, and I've been contemplating suicide. |
| Question: I constantly have to fight for my best friend's attention? Posted: 22 Jan 2018 06:33 PM PST It never used to be this way. We used to text each other all the time, about pretty much anything. Now, she's made new friends and she rarely texts me unless I text her first. I did an experiment the other day and I told her that we should hang out this past Friday, and she said it sounded like a great idea. I wanted to see if I just mentioned it and didn't act on the suggestion if she would do anything. She didn't. Friday came and went and I heard nothing from her. I always see her texting her other new friends, but she doesn't have time for me anymore. It's pretty much tearing me apart inside because she's my only friend. It's not like she's decided she doesn't like me anymore, more like she's just so infatuated with her new friends that she can't be bothered to text and hang out with me anymore. The part that bothers me the most is that I'm hurting so badly because of it, but she's so blissfully ignorant and she's completely fine. I've been trying to distract myself and find other things to do in my free time, but it's hard. I end up thinking about the situation constantly and I'm having a hard time taking my mind off of it. What should I do? |
