Question: My girlfriend doesnt want a engagement ring? Posted: 27 Jan 2018 04:21 PM PST So me and my girlfriend are high school sweetheart and we've been together for 10 years im 27 she's 26. We've always discussed about marriage and she always said that she doesn't want a diamond engagement ring or even a ring in general. She said that she doesnt need a ring to know how much we love each other and it only matters if we both know it from heart. She also said if i ever choose to buy a ring and spend more than $100 she would ask to return the ring. Now I want to propose and get her an engagement but I also respect her words and I dont want to spend no more than $100. I honestly do not know that ring will cost under $100 so I came on tk ask for some rings recommendation. I was originally going to buy a customized ring for her with customized engraving of a bear and alpaca since that's the nickname we gave to each other but I couldn't find any place that does customizable ring. Any recommendations? |
Question: Shower/Wedding etiquette and who has decided this is the way it should be? Posted: 27 Jan 2018 03:48 PM PST I don't care for weddings unless it is someone close to me. I think most weddings are so over the top and it puts too much pressure on the guest to spend more than they can afford. A co-worker told me about her daughter's wedding before I started working with her. She said people are cheap and they should at least give enough to cover the meal! How does any guest know how much a meal costs and how is it their choice as to what the couple decides to have for food. This is the main reason I do not attend weddings unless someone is real close to me. I do buy shower gifts for the couple but I don't usually send a wedding gift since I do not go. Anyone else? |
