Two nights ago I get a FaceTime call and I pick it up thinking it's someone else. It's my ex boyfriend from high school. We text for a couple hours. He kept asking to meet up and "catch up." I kept asking him why because I thought it was kind of weird that after 7 years you're contacting me. I have no clue how he even got my phone number. We chatted for a couple hours in the middle of the night talking about how each other has been. I found his Instagram and he has a girlfriend and they planned a big vacation to a foreign country a couple months from now. Has this ever happened to any of you guys? Advice? |

Posted: 20 Jan 2018 07:33 PM PST So my girlfriend has an issue with the word "territorial" ( yes it has different meaning depends on how you explain it) So when i told her that she began too be irritated and annoyed since she hated that word on of her big pet peeves i just don't understand what was wrong with the word and out of no where she said" i'm not something you piss on and claim that's yours" when i didn't mean it like that So i explained it what i actually mean the word "territorial" so i told her im more protective that something belongs too me that i would protect if something harms them or try too interfere as in flirt when knowing she has a boyfriend type ( Im not saying im over protective she can do whatever she wants which would bug me) but when it comes too boundaries and someone trying too swoop in and either harm or try flirt with her when she told that person she has a boyfriend but that person doesn't care i go in for the kill( not literally). Her parents tourted her she said if she screamed or yelled it made them mad. Then she said her mom brought home both boys and girls to have sex with her. I was overly clingy and had a really bad negative attitude about myself around her. Thats not the real me. That wasnt the normal me she fell for. Her feelings towards me faded. Also said she wants to be alone, which I blame myself because if I were in her shoes I would want to be alone too after how I was around her. Another thing is she feels she doesnt have time for a relationship. Which I understand. Because her job causes her to have to get A LOT of sleep. But I understood that. I accepted that. And was and am willing to work through with her. She still wants to remain friends tho. She wants to go to the gym with me and she still says she cares about me and will talk to me whenever I need her. She also says she doesnt want anyone else. I want a second chance. I want to fix things so they go back to the way stuff was between us before I turned negative. My plan right now is go to the gym with her. Fix myself so I lose all this negativity and bad attitude. Prove to her the person Ive became is NOT the real me. I want to rekindle the fire we used to have together. But I want third party thoughts about my situation. So advice? |

The only problem is he lives over seas first of all. He is Pakistani, Muslim, but born and raised in England, and I am two years and five months older than him. Posted: 20 Jan 2018 05:01 PM PST Ok long story short theres a girl who reached out to me and wanted to be friends (we're in high school) and it was good for a while but then I started to like her a LOT and I'm a shy person and when I like someone I'm MUCH more shy. I was trying my best to talk and stuff but It was really hard and I couldn't do it for a while. I think she though I was ignoring her. We were friends on snapchat and after she thought I was ignoring her she sent something and saw that I opened it, but I was busy and couldn't answer for like 10 minutes. When I did, snapchat said that she would receive the message as soon as she re-added my as a friends :( That was 7 months ago. We sometimes smile when walking in the hall and occasionally say hi now. Should I add her back today and explain what happened and / or apologize? She's an awesome person and I want to be at least friends with her. |
